Negative experience: Terrible communication and customer service. They rescheduled my regular dental cleaning twice in a row. For the 3rd time, I took off work and drove 30 minutes to the office, only for them to tell me that there is no hygenist to clean my teeth. On top of being understaffed, the receptionist was very rude about the situation. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Negative experience: The white lady at the desk was very rude and dismissive. Didn't look up to acknowledge me not once. I made the appointment and communicated to them that the appointment was made because I needed an extraction. I went to the back and they completed an x ray and told me that I needed a bridge. I asked them what about the extraction because I was in so much pain. She told me that they would have to send me somewhere else and the only appointment was for October sometime. Why would you guys have me to come in just ti tell me I can't get the extraction done til October? My face swelled up the night of and I had to drive two hours to get my tooth taken out the next day, so thank you guys for your terrible service

This was my daughter ‘s first experience coming to this office and we couldn’t believe how unprofessional this lady was to her . Didn’t make her feel comfortable at all with her procedure didn’t walk her through on what she was doing . Please find another dental office to go to . No one should be treated this way by someone that suppose to be professional at all times and take great pride in their job . If you didn’t want to be a dentist then you should have chosen another profession lady ! I would give no stars ⭐️ if I could !

Negative experience: This dental office has been a consistently frustrating experience, with issues occurring during nearly every visit. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, yet I waited approximately 30–35 minutes in the waiting area before being taken to the back. Once I was seated in the treatment room, I waited an additional 30 minutes before anyone attended to me. After my X-rays were completed, the dental hygienist, Catherine C., entered the room and informed me that she did not have enough time to perform my basic cleaning because she was leaving for lunch. When I expressed my concerns about having waited basically an hour only to be told my appointment could not be completed, she dismissed them and stated that I would need to reschedule because I had allegedly not been placed on her schedule and again that she was going to lunch. According to both Catherine and the front desk receptionist, she was the only hygienist on duty at the time. When I spoke with the front desk receptionist regarding the situation, the only solution offered was for me to leave and return in 30 minutes after the hygienist finished her lunch break. This was an unacceptable resolution and a complete waste of my time and gas. The entire experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful of my time as a patient.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this location has horrible scheduling. My mother was referred and no one never called to make the appointment. Had to take her back to original provider, then once she was scheduled the doctor was unavailable. Then, I had reschedule and the office advised someone would call. I called SHELIA back and she put me a thirty minute hold only to never return. Dont waste your time here, clearly they have too many patients.

Negative experience: I originally was very pleased with my experience. Even though, Im very afraid of the dentist, Dr.Brown, her assistant, and staff were very reassuring, and calmed me to where I can actually get some work done. That wasn't the issue, I received two root canals, and crowns. It was a long process for some reason the appointments kept getting rescheduled, and so on, and so forth. Anyway, I finally get the work done several months later. I also was fitted for some back partials for some missing back teeth, and was very happy to have my smile back. Fast forward to a couple months later, Im noticing a bump in my gum, over where the work was done. I know this is an abscess, and I go into the dentist to get my partials picked up, and the dentist said it seemed fine. Here I am almost a year later, and the abscess will not go away, I have a constant infection in my mouth, and it is causing other issues in my body. I got an appointment last month to be seen letting them know, I was still having issues. I go to the appointment, and I can't even be looked at without paying hundreds of dollars, because I don't have my insurance at the moment. It didn't matter to them that they were the ones that did the work, and messed up, and that it was a failed root canal. Doesn't matter to them that I have had a constant infection, that is leading to other problems in my body. The only thing that mattered was the hundreds of dollars that they wanted. I am so disappointed, and disgusted that I was treated like this, because I originally really loved Great Expressions, and had referred many people to the company. They won't help me, and they are the ones who did the work, so now Im stuck with a constant abscess in my mouth that won't go away, that is leading to headaches, a whooshing sound in my head, and Lord only knows what else can happen, I know it can't be anything good. I just don't know what to do, and the company could care less.

Negative experience: I would like to rate 0. I had an appointment for a cleaning .. they refuse to clean. The doctor said I need maintenance cleaning ..the hygienist said no need deep clean only. I thought the doctor was in charge. I agreed to deep cleaning which cost me money .. they then refuse to do any until I see a specialist because of medical test I'm taking at my doctor. This has nothing to do with my teeth cleaning. I am now over the 6 month due time. I ask them not to charge my insurance because they did nothing. I only get 2 visits no charge per year. I am a senior on fix income. I now have to monitor to see if they took one of my visits. I have now changed to a different dental office which delays my cleaning for another month .. which puts my dental care far behind. This place was unbelievable. They also said my appointment was 2 pm and once I arrived they said it was 3pm.

Positive experience: This experience was very different from past experiences. They did not fully go over fees before starting the services.

Positive experience: I’ve been visiting this office for about a year and there is always something positive to say regarding the experience my children and I have. This time, the office manager was extremely helpful and pleasant, we were called within the time of our appointment to be seen, the appointment took the time expected so we were out within an hour and a half. However, the good usually comes with the bad. I have Never in my life had a dental assistant come to the waiting room to explain patient services or what is happening with my children’s dental plan. During my last visit, Dr. Bryant and her staff gave me a hard time about coming to the room near “sanitized equipment” to check on my children, but this is exactly why you are supposed to have patients parents visit the room. The dental assistant came out into the waiting room and expressed out loud that my son needed medicine during his procedure and explains why in front of a room full of people…then comes back to tell me about my daughters visit…again in front of a room full of people. I am sure this is a HIPPA violation in some way but I just Made the office manager aware and she said she would speak with her about it. I can give them a 3 this time because that was completely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit at this location and absolutely loved it my hygienist. I don’t remember her name, but she was amazing. She accommodated me for comfort once I let her know that I had surgery. She was nice, informative, professional, and the doctor that did my exam afterwards she was amazing very friendly as well. I give these location a 10 out of 10 and I will be back again.

Fantastic experience: There was some hiccups initially with the scheduling of my appointment, but everything was rectified and I was able to be seen as a new patient, got my x-rays, and teeth cleaning all in the same day! I will be back for my next cleaning!

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a cleaning. After I was in a room (15 minutes after my appointment time. I had arrived 20 minutes early.) I was told there might not be time for a cleaning today. I had to have X-rays, see the dentist and then time with the hygienist to review. After all that if there was time I would have a cleaning but if there wasn’t time I would have to schedule another appointment. I didn’t stay and I won’t be going back.

Negative experience: I will absolutely NEVER EVER IN LIFE go back to great expressions!!! I had yet another HORRIBLE experience!!! Dr. Hoodrat Bryant and the office manager Ellie!!! Rude. This wasn't my first time with Dr. Hoodrat Bryant, she worked out of the dreadful Jonesboro office. I went in for a cleaning and couldn't get one bc there was no hygienist they didn't explain that before the appointment. Then I made an appointment to come back still not dental hygienist. Today debacle I told the hygienist about that experience and she said it was the same doctor and she started telling me about the plan she had before and I was like please can we clstart over bc I didn't trust that before. Then doc comes in and I said I thought we already had a plan and she said the last time I saw you in 2024 and I said ok all I want is a cleaning she get an snappy tone and said she can go. Then when I talked to the front desk manager that the doctor called in I said can I speak with the supervisor over her she said it's Karen Samuels I said great may I have her contact she said No...she has to call you so I said can I have my X-rays for today she said I said I'll give you a form since your having a hard time understanding. I said excuse me I am not having a hard time understanding anything she slammed the pen down on the table was breathing really loud. I said ok you seem to have a problem too today. I went and sat in my car bc I could feel me getting really upset. The. They tried to sell my daughter some extra mouth wash that she didn't need. That's why I didn't like Dr Hoodrat Bryant bc she wants to update you instead of giving you what you need. I will NEVER EVER GO TO A GREAT EXPRESSION AGAIN. My normal dentist is Dr. White in Fairburn but since I live in Fayetteville I was looking for some where closer but Nope. 3time trying them and I will NEVER EVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THEM. TERRIBLE SERVICE AGAIN!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience today at Great Expressions with Sheila and Ellie. I brought my son in for his general cleaning visit, and from start to finish, their service was exceptional. They were courteous, professional, and incredibly organized. I was able to schedule appointments for myself and my husband, secure my son’s follow-up visit, and receive his ortho referral all in one visit, which made everything so convenient. I especially appreciated how attentive they were to cleanliness during a time when so many colds and illnesses are going around. I noticed them consistently sanitizing counters and pens, which showed how much they care about their patients’ health and safety. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness truly stood out.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this location. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes. For the services I needed, that's great timing and the staff was professional, courteous and kind.

Negative experience: I’ve somehow fallen through the cracks. I was assured by the PTC location that I’d get a call for a consultation, it’s been weeks and weeks whilst in excruciating pain, unable to eat. There is no surgeon at the PTC location, but when I finally got in touch with this office today I was directed back to the PTC location to meet with the surgeon….that doesn’t exist at that location. So I’m being given the run around. I can’t wait until February 20 I’m in pain, if the pain doesn’t kill me by then, the infection might. I just need extractions I have infections in both teeth, I can’t eat or sleep. Id rather pay full price for better service somewhere else.

Negative experience: This was our first visit to the Fayetteville location, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. My husband arrived at 9:00 a.m. for a scheduled extraction appointment and did not leave the office until nearly 1:00 p.m. He spent over an hour waiting in the reception area, followed by another hour waiting after being called back. After he was numbed, there was an additional 45 minute delay before the procedure began. Due to the prolonged wait, the numbing medication had to be administered a second time. Spending approximately four hours for a dental appointment, particularly for a scheduled procedure, is unacceptable and reflects poorly on patient care and scheduling practices.

Negative experience: Going to Great Expressions in Fayetteville GA started out as being okay, but has turn out to be my worst (ever) dental service experience(s). Altogether I had to return to GE on three different occasions over a two month period to get my mouth rescan. Each scan was performed by three different dental technicians. I was told that doing previous scans that they missed taking pictures of some areas in my mouth and that they no longer are using the previous company to make my replacement teeth. Prior to my fourth visit on December 18, 2025 at 4 PM Mrs Shiela contacted me to let me know that my denture plates had finally arrived to GE. December 18, 2025 was my earliest period of returning and upon being taken in room to lay back in the dentist seat doing my entire time no dentist provided me with any services. Two dental technicians provided me with dental services. The first technician attempted to install the dentures but then saw and showed me that the company had an extra tooth on the denture that made it impossible for it to go in my mouth. She left the room and five minutes later a second technician walked in with the dentures. This technician by the way was the one who had done my second scan nearly a month and week ago. She basically said a mistake was made and went on to ask me would I like to get my other good front tooth pulled. Immediately I said no, due to the fact there’s no issues nor a s my other tooth hurting. I told her that I’m a senior citizen on a budget and that I’m not able to be giving out another $500 for a tooth that’s not needed. She next said what if they did a discount for $120 and I said know. She said my other teeth could fall out in a year or even tomorrow. I still said no. Although I begun to feel frustrated I lightly smiled and said I’m going to be nice. She then stopped asking questions, and left the room saying she will be back. Five minutes later she returned with the same denture and the extra tooth was missing. She requested I lay back and tried again putting it in. I let her know about my discomfort feeling. She left the room again and returned with the dentures and I still let her know about my discomfort and I said my rear teeth feel uneven. She left again, and returned and this time the discomfort had eased up, however I my rear teeth still was and is not fully leveled. Each time the technician left out of the room she never explained her actions of what she was doing. However I could briefly see that it look like something was used to cut or trim certain areas of the plate. I really felt like this dentist office, the MIA dentist, nor this technician was not providing me with professional dental services, felt as if I was being manipulated, and felt like I had been rushed to sign a document prior to leaving that dentist office. Additionally I was highly disappointed that no dentist during this visit never as was told to me by Mrs Shiela provided me with any services. My blame really is toward the MIA dentist who did not make certain as a customer that I’m satisfied with every aspect of the dental services. Prior to walking out of the dental office my last words to Mrs Shiela was that ai would not be returning to this GE office unless I had to. Here’s the deal I’m feeling discomfort with the plate in my mouth. I will be going to another dentist as oppose to returning to the GE dentist office in Fayetteville GA.

Negative experience: Before you transitioned to a new location, I had been going to the bank station for years even when I moved further. I usually came for a routine dental cleaning. The dentists and hygienists are usually different everytime I come. The last visit I had 6 months ago, the dentist checked my teeth and walked off. Their assistant came in with a paper and I had to ask her what it was. I found out I had cavities on my molars on both sides. I found their approach of informing me very unprofessional and something felt off, so I switched offices. After another 6 months, I’m glad I listened to what I felt in the moment. The dentist at my new office told me my teeth are strong and healthy and that I don’t need any fillings at all. I’m very disappointed that the dentist I saw previously misled me into thinking I “had” cavities and unnecessarily performing anything on healthy teeth.

Positive experience: This is my first time visiting this location. The wait time was very long about an hour, however the dental tech was very apologetic and did a great job.

Fantastic experience: I total experience was excellent. Dr. Brown is very good professional and congenial. My charge was affordable. My plan was explained and questions answered. I love this office.

Negative experience: I originally got my Crowne here 2 years ago in 2023. Fast forward to this year August 2025, I was chewing gum and my Crowne cracked. I went back to Dr. Brown's office to see if it was under warranty since they were the ones that installed it, they said it was not. Usually a Crowne should have a 5 year warranty. On August 7, 2025 they charged me $855 to replace the Crowne even though I only had it for 2 years and they were the ones that put it in. It is now November 2025 and I still have not received the permanent Crowne that they charged me $855 for. Since August until now, I have made atleast 7 trips to the dentist and they have not been able to fit my Crowne correctly and give me what I paid for. Now I am getting the run around. The last two appointments they texted me last minute to tell me the doctor is sick and they have to reschedule my appointment, and the very last appointment they texted and cancelled last minute saying the doctor is on medical leave. I need to be refunded since the staff is not trained to correctly place a Crowne in someone's mouth. I would also like to be refunded because they were the one's that originally placed the Crowne in my mouth only 2 years ago. This should be under warranty. Corporate i need your help. Please refund my money because your staff don't know how to correctly fit a Crowne. I have been waiting since August.

Fantastic experience: I always have a pleasant experience at GEDC, and I am always satisfied with the dental treatment, services, and professionalism of the staff. The Dental Hygienist is the best and Dr. Brown takes the time to ensure that the patient understands their treatment plan.

Negative experience: Office was not busy but wait was very long (40 minutes).

Fantastic experience: I love the Great Expressions location in Fayetteville. Staff are friendly and professional and wait time was minimal. I was provided an estimate of charges for procedures before I was serviced. The dental assistant was patient, courteous, and proficient throughout my cleaning. Dr. Brown was very nice and thoroughly explained and answered all my questions and concerns. The office was very clean and welcoming. They even decorated the waiting area with Halloween decorations for the youth.

Fantastic experience: Once taken back to my private room for treatment the staff was extremely courteous patient and kind. I have trouble with X-rays and the assistant was very thoughtful in her approach and we were able to get it done! They were prompt as well I did not have a long stay in the waiting room. The dentist was professional and cordial. I hate the dentist BUT I did not find this visit unpleasant! Glad I found them!

Negative experience: I was really disappointed with how my friend and I were treated today. We both had appointments scheduled one at 8:00am and one at 8:30am. Someone from the office called my friend to cancel her appointment, saying the doctor was sick. Not even 2 minutes later, they called me and said the dental hygienist and doctor wouldn’t be in until 1pm. What they didn’t realize is that we were sitting right next to each other when they made both calls. It was frustrating to hear two completely different explanations for the same morning. My friend is a new patient, so it honestly felt like they were choosing who they wanted to serve, which is really poor business practice. I hope the office improves its communication and professionalism moving forward consistency and honesty go a long way when it comes to patient trust.

Negative experience: I scheduled my first appointment here, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing before I even arrived. After receiving a voicemail with a rude tone about confirming, I called back to possibly adjust my time. Instead of being greeted politely, I was immediately asked rudely if I was calling to confirm. Before I could explain, the staff member started yelling, demanding my last name. For a first impression, this came across as unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unnecessarily rude. As a new patient, I expected basic courtesy and respectful communication. I called on 9/30/25 at 4:32pm.

Positive experience: Ms.Brown and her staff are great except for 1. Not the worst experience when it came to the service but the manger Shiela Oliver was very rude. She does not know how to talk to people and is not empathetic at all. Has horrible managing skills and needs to learn how to address issues with people that come to spend their money in that office. I had an issue with my party not understanding what they were paying for even though paying the bill wasn't the issue. We just were not prepared to pay that amount. But she could have asked if we needed other options and apologized for the misunderstanding, but instead she chose to question him about the service when he had already said what it was. I was supposed to get a cleaning and the other staff is very nice but due to Ms. Oliver attitude I will not be spending my money there. And not to mention she referred to me by calling me his last name and not mine. She deserved more than what I did because that was very disrespectful Ms.wig, but I digress. Won't be returning or referring anybody to this office.

Fantastic experience: The office staff was very nice and professional my daughter scheduled appointment it was canceled at another location and they were nice enough to fill me in what surprise me the most was the timely fashion I was in and out I really thought I was going to be there all day because I was filling in but I wasn’t very thankful for that. Negative experience: After requesting to have my records transferred to a location closer to my home. I have experienced nothing but frustration and setbacks. I have been waiting on partial since 03/12/25. An appointment was scheduled 04/14/25 at 8:00am arrived on time and was seen @ 9:04am with more disappointing news. The explanation was unacceptable and now twice scheduled my time and expense and no results. This location is unprofessional and shows no empathy. A new appointment scheduled for 04/21/25 @2:00pm. Some form of compensation has to be leveled at this point and time.A recommendation is highly unlikely at this time.

Negative experience: Have been waiting for dentures for 4+ months. All top teeth and most of bottom were surgically removed on 11/5/2024. 1st set of dentures did not fit at all. Had to start over. 2nd visit- did not fit. 3rd visit - did not fit. Today's visit - not received from lab; AND Lab unable to provide status. So I've now been living with no dentures (including any temporary ones) for 4 + months!! Unbelievable!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brown and staff took great care of me. I know a shot in the mouth doesn't feel good but she has gentle hands and always checked on my comfort during the procedure. Thanks for making something most ppl avoid like going to the dentist a positive experience

Negative experience: The appointment started off decent, with X-rays and cleaning not taking long. The wait to see the dentist for my dental exam was too long and I had to leave without seeing her due to another appointment. I also did not receive my goodie bag with new toothbrush and other items. Not the first time the wait time has been longer than expected. Will be looking for another dentist.

Negative experience: 16 Dec 2024 vusit. I am thoroughly disappointed with this dental office. I went there to get my permanent Crown put on and again, it did not fit. This is the fifth time that they have ordered a crown and it did not fit. I am being told that they're going to send it to a different lab this time. I wanted to ask, why didn't you send it to a different lab after the third one they sent did not fit? I would never recommend this dental to any of my family or friend. This is ridiculous. ************ Prior visits: At this appointment I was supposed to have my permanent crown put on. It did not fit and I was in the office over an hour. This was the 2nd crown they ordered that did not fit. They ordered a third one during this visit. Now I have to wait another 2-weeks without a crown. So far, I have been without a crown for at least 6-weeks. Secondly, the temporary crowns that have been putting in came off within 1-3 days. The one they put in during this visit, came out while I was eating spaghetti noodles. There was nothing hard or sticky in my mouth when it came off. I am down with this Dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was exceptionally helpful. They were all patient and kind. The doctor and staff went above and beyond to take care of me. I am not one that looks forward to dental visits and today was one of the best dentist visits I have ever had even though I ended up needing some extensive work. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brown is amazing ..she is very professional caring and took the time to explain to me in detail the situation that I had going on and options to fix it. This was my first visit and she took great care of me and my tooth in a timely manner. My normal dentist that I have been with for over 5 yrs didn’t have any availability today , so I’m glad she was able to help me… I would highly recommend her and to add your staff was great and professional from check in to assisting her and checking out…

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and professional, knowledgeable of what they were doing, environment and the atmosphere was pleasant. Dr Brown was kind and professional, efficient. I would recommend this office because my first visit was very memorable .

Negative experience: I didn't have the best experience getting my cavities filled. The first filling appointment left me feeling like I had lockjaw and created new spaces next to my filling resulting in entrapped food. She revised the filing acknowledging the open space and the following new filings she did all have the same entrapment issue. I've contacted the corporate office of Great Expressions via email and left a voicemail and it's been 45+ days of silence from them. I called the actual office and they wanted to review my teeth again but if the same dentist doesn't meet my standard the first 2 visits I would be a fool to go back again. If you value quality and timeliness, I suggest you find another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist can be nerve wrecking but the staff here was amazing. From when I came in Eli & Shelia gave wonderful customer service. When I went back for my x-rays the dental assistant Makayla was very nice and efficient. She explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable as best she could. The hygienist Ms. Katie was so professional and knowledgeable. She explained my x-rays to me and explained the cleaning she had to do. Cleaning was a breeze and and I am so thankful. I am so glad my old dentist referred me to this dental office. This will be my home dental office going forward. Dr brown was also very knowledgeable, polite and efficient and explaining about Invisalign. Definitely come here for your dental services.The atmosphere here is very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Great Expressions Dental center on Jeff Davis in Fayetteville GA. Dr. Kimberly Brown Excellent customer service. Friendly and helpful staff. Facility is nice and clean. Wait time was minimal and Doctor Kimberly Brown is very good and her knowledge skill and abilities are un-matched. Each time I have visited this office it’s been a nice experience. Sheila the office Manager does excellent work as well. Excellence in all that they do!!!

Fantastic experience: Today I went in to get my permanent crown installed on my right side and a temporary on the left. Dr. Brown always ask if I am feeling any discomfort and she assures me that I am doing fine and not to panic. Meka was also so patient with me and explained everything to me step by step. Although this process was longer than the first time, she checked up on me to ensure that I was not forgetten. My experience with the application of my first temporary crown vs this second temporary crown was like night and day. Taking off the temporary was a little challenging at first but Meka kept working with it and got it off successfully. I am so pleased with my permanent crown and the temporary crown installed today. Meka did not do the final seal until she was satisfied that all the putty was not left on my teeth or in between my teeth as was done before. Thank you both so much for your patience, expertise and my experience with today’s appointment.
