Negative experience: The oral surgeon did nothing for me still have pain. Told me just to get them adjusted every month

Negative experience: I have tried to get a simple cleaning and have been cancelled and/or rescheduled multiple times. I even changed offices thinking that would help. This time however, I go in for the basic cleaning I’ve been booked for but the hygienist refused unless I paid $125 for a different cleaning. Needless to say, I will never be attempting to use Aspen Dental again and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.

I wanted to give a special “shout-out” to Harlee, who instantly noticed I was nervous and talked to me in such a kind manner, that I was calmed down and felt I was talking to a friend. Thank you for the work you all do—every single staff member is giving it their all whenever I come in for an appointment… it does not go unnoticed. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: I love Aspen dental in Zanesville Ohio. The dr did amazing work on my partial. I also had a bad abscess and have to have a tooth pulled here soon. The dr is very kind, caring, listens to what’s going on explains everything you couldn’t ask for a better dentist. I have bad anxiety and I was very calm when I went in to have this tooth looked at. I will be going back to Aspen dental and no where else. I am very Thankful for Aspen dental, the dr and the staff absolutely a great place to go for any kind of dental work, dentures etc. The dr did amazing work on my husband as well and his dentures look beautiful. Thank you Aspen dental you guys are the best.

Negative experience: The main dentist that does the cleaning, she is always rushing to get stuff done. Today I went in for a regular cleaning, I had to wait which was okay because the girl staff is always very friendly, and kept me updated for how long it would be. But once the dentist came in, she used the sharp tool(around the gums) and went so fast literally did it in 4 minutes!! And the nice lady that was doing the mouth suction, was struggling to keep up so i dont blame her at all but my entire chin and down my neck was wet from how fast and sloppy the dentist was being. I'm all for a "quick cleaning" and I don't even have a sensitive mouth at all and it wasn't a hard clean! So it shouldn't take long anyways, but she's rushing so fast that it actually hurt me. She couldve just used an extra 5 minutes to just slow down and make it more comfortable. I love the rest of the staff, they are literally so sweet and still get everything done in a good timely manner, while still doing an amazing job!

I needed super fast front tooth repair and will have it all done within two days. I am thrilled to have these super people in Zanesville!!!!! Fantastic experience: I went in for my first appointment at Aspen dental today. Everyone I talked to there was very nice and professional. They listened to what I had to say and were very helpful with my concerns. They were really thorough with the x-rays and exam. I have an appointment tomorrow to have two extractions done and I will come back and update after the appointment. Update 02/12/2026 I seen Dr. Fleming for both appointments. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to where I could understand it. He extracted two teeth today and the worst part was getting numbed, and it wasn't even bad. I thought he had extracted one tooth, and I said only 1 more. I was wrong. He had already extracted both teeth. It was very painless from start to finish. The toothache itself hurt more than having the teeth extracted. He had both teeth extracted in about 2 minutes tops. I was definitely surprised. I would highly recommend coming here and seeing Dr. Fleming if you're having any dental issues.

Having bad teeth for 7+ years has taken its toll on me and I had been embarrassed for years to even open my mouth, walking into a dentist office was terrifying to me. Everything changed when I was welcomed in with a warm smile and such a helpful team to get me started on this journey. From the helpful registration to getting my X-rays done and my impressions. everything went so smoothly I never would have imagined it being so easy. I cannot stress this enough. Going into this office you won’t feel judged, and it’s probably going to be the best experience you’ve ever had at the dentist! Now I’m able to smile again and it’s all thanks to the outstanding team at aspen dental! I would recommend them to all friends and family without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for all your dental needs. They are polite, extremely thorough, and even have integrated AI into the exam. Quite impressive. The office got me a same day appointment and was only charged like 32$ to do X-rays and exam. Got a treatment plan. Also offered financing to help. If I had insurance I definitely would be a regular patient. Thanks Aspen Dental

Fantastic experience: What an absolute pleasure to go to the dentist! The whole experience was awesome!!! Nobody usually looks forward to going to have work done. But that has all changed! The staff was thought courteous and polite! From the pretty lady at the front desk to the pretty lady in the financial department! The tech knew her job well and was so nice to me. Knowing I was nervous she chatted with me and made me super comfortable telling me every step she was taking!! Very sweet girl! Kept me informed as I waited on the dentist to finish with another patient. Which was not but a few moments. When he come in he carried an air of confidence and professionalism that seemed to be blanketed with his very gentle hand as he gave me a exam and explained with the most cutting edge AI dentistry program I’ve ever seen. Making it easy to understand everything! I was nervous because I had been a smoker recently for many years and had a dentist in the past make a nasty remark about. When they say this is a judgment free office, they mean no frowning down on or no criticism about someone having a teeth issue for ANY reason! Truly grateful! Excited about the future having a fantastic smile made possible by this great bunch of people!! Thank you all for treating me like I was me and not another quick patient in and out of the dentist!!

Even though I was numb, the pressure release was felt. Can't wait to wake up without pain. Highly recommend. The meatballs were also fantastic. Tasted like my grandma's recipe.

Negative experience: Why isn’t there a no star option? Not for the dentist or hygienist but the first desk staff deserves a big 0. Normally not a Karen but I drove all the way there in the snow and freezing weather and their system for apple pay was down and because of their issue, not mine. They wouldn’t see me. Make sure you pay before you go because you can’t expect them to have it together. They don’t care about patients, they care about getting their money yet they can’t fix their broken system they use. Offered to call and pay on phone later but wasn’t good enough for them. Would not recommend this office to anyone!! The dentist and hygienist were kind and great but the front desk and accountant were terrible. Wouldn’t wish my experience on anyone.

From the first time I called Aspen dental and made an appointment, they were nothing but kind and patient. They understood that I have anxiety when it comes to dentistry. When I went in for my first appointment they were very patient with me and treated me like family. The dentist and the whole staff were great. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: All of the staff there is great, except for the office manager she was extremely snobby.And rude very rude. Another manager called me up for another appointment to discuss financing and my options.She acted very clueless. And super annoyed, didn't know what was going on and was not willing to find out.And only would give me the highest quote that I was unable to afford. She was not willing to discuss any options with me. I drove almost an hour.One way to be sent out not even five minutes later.With the same thing I already knew. She is definitely in the wrong position to help others unless you have insurance or can afford it.

Negative experience: Aspen Dental spends more time asking me to give a review than they actually spent with me in the chair. I went to the Zanesville office in extreme pain. They were supposed to schedule an appointment for the following day, and send a prescription for some pain meds. The prescription was never sent and they never scheduled my appointment. I would rather pull my own teeth then step foot in their again.

I was there for a tooth pain issue, and saw Dr. Fleming. Fleming was so kind and caring, and he listened to my concerns and gave me my options for treatment and just really listened to what I had to say. He put a lot of my anxiety to rest.
