Fantastic experience: My daughter is 2 yrs old and this was her first dentist appt. I was going in very nervous. Nurse Jenny was so amazing and made my daughter and myself feel so at ease. She was engaging and so patient. The doctor then came in and she was so bubbly and did her thing without taking too much time. Both Nurse Jenny and the Dentist gave me great tips on my daughter's teeth cleaning habits. They didn't do too much and didn't expect my 2 yr old to sit still the whole time. I really appreciate that!

Negative experience: I had a very concerning experience with this dentist. My 8 year old son recently had a crown placed on one of his teeth, but within days following the procedure, he began to experience severe headaches and pain near his jaw joint on the side I observed she forced the crown in, radiating into his right temple. We consulted a chiropractor, who observed that his jaw was pushed back and to the right on his right side (looking at him). The chiropractor had to adjust his jaw to relieve some of the pressure. Following this, my son was diagnosed with TMJ by a medical doctor. When I expressed my concerns to the dentist, she dismissed them, attributing the issues to "growth" and claiming that everything was shifting naturally. However, my son had no issues prior to the dental visit, and his pain has been unbearable at times, even bringing him to tears. I am deeply disappointed with how my concerns were handled and feel that this situation could have been avoided with more care and attention. I would advise others to approach this office with caution, as my experience has been both frustrating and painful for my son.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kilgore was absolutely amazing with my children, as usual. The whole staff was, of course. I highly recommend them. I am so thankful. My kids were terrified of the dentist before we found them. They go with no fear now.

He explains everything that is going on from start to end. Everyone here is just so nice and kind. My oldest will be 10 this year and we started coming here since she was 2!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere here is so peaceful! Everyone was very accommodating to our needs and flexible with my son's ability. Our treatment options and various amounts of pain/anxiety releif were well explained. Scheduling appointments was also a breeze. The assistants and dentist were very thoughtful, thorough, and patient. I recommend North Point to everyone! I'm a little jealous they don't see grown ups.

Dr. Carter and Nancy were great with him- made him comfortable and explained things in ways that he could understand so he knew what was happening without being nervous.

Fantastic experience: Updated Nov 13,2023:: So glad we got meet Dr. Cara Kilgore! We had a previous appointment with her early 2023 but due to her scheduled vacation we met with Dr. Spiritoso instead.(See original review below) Dr. Kilgore and her assistant were extremely kind to my daughter. Cai was nervous and kept smiling while asking if we were good to go home. They made her feel welcome and even played with her a little to calm her nerves. The appointment was just a check up not a cleaning so we were in and out in under thirty minutes. So happy we left our previous dental facility for this one. Everyone is super nice and respectful here! We actually look forward to our next appointment. Original post April 2023:: Stephen G Spiritoso, DDS was amazing with my special needs daughter! Riley Children’s has been taking care of my daughters needs since birth, but they couldn’t get her in until early summer. Dr. Steve did a quick evaluation and made the necessary treatment plan. Surgery went smoothly and now my daughter is much happier and no longer in pain! Thanks so much for your genuine care we’re so glad she’s comfortable with you! We highly recommend him!!

Fantastic experience: After searching and searching for a good, reliable dentist for my kids, I can finally say I found it! Northpoint pediatric blew me away today! Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse, doctor, and the lady at checkout were beyond amazing. The atmosphere was kid friendly, and I loved the open concept in the back. At no point did I feel confused about things they were saying, they communicated and explained everything so well. If I were to think of things in my head of what I thought “the perfect dentist” office would be, northpoint pediatric checked them all! I’m ecstatic to have an outstanding dentistry for my kids!

Fantastic experience: Our experience overall was fantastic! Our son cracked his tooth on a Sunday. Luckily our neighbor Katie works here and she came over to take a look to ease our mind. We were instructed to come in on Monday (the next day) and it was handled fantastically. Katie was wonderful with helping keep Roland happy waiting on the Doctor. Dr. Kilgore came in and accessed the issue and had us out after about 20 minutes. We are so glad we chose North Point! We highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kilgore is the best. My daughter had the worst experience at her last dentist and she did so well and cooperated and let the hygienist brush her teeth even though she was terrified at first. The hygienist talked her through it and showed her everything and explained what she would be doing and she let them do it. She kept saying she didn’t want to go to the dentist and now she doesn’t mind that she has to go back. She was her happy, cheerful self, when last time at the dentist she was screaming and crying, and begging not to go back when we left.
