Negative experience: If I can give them a zero stars I would never take your children here never go here to. They mess my 5 yr olds teeth up and wouldn't stand by side their work or fix them leaving a child to hurt and suffer this is the worst doctor you could ever go to The owners of it have no bedside manners and are very unprofessional I don't know where they got their medical degree but to make a child suffer is unthoughtful and horrible as a doctor in any field an in their career I am in the medical field myself I would not recommend anybody to this dentist!!!

Positive experience: Disclaimer rating has to do with treatment from Dr. Cook. Thank you Jerry (Office Manager-I believe) for your attention and care for my 4 year old during this experience. Also, thank you to the young female dental assistant doing your best. I appreciate you both. Dr. Hunter is the better Dentist for Pediatrics. She definitely has a way with children and I do not believe Dr. Cook should care for small children. This visit started by me forgetting to give my child diazapham as directed. It was truly a big oversight on my part, but if there wasn't an effective alternative in office, I preferred to reschedule my daughter to avoid her experiencing trauma. Jerry brought Dr. Cook up to get her expert opinion. After some thought Dr. Cook decided to proceed by giving my child extra numbing gel as she has in the past to older children. I should've went with my first mind as a mother. Dr. Cook advised the dental assistant to numb my child 3 times, then seemed to grow impatient at the time given for the numbing and rushed the numbing on the 2nd and 3rd time around. My baby felt every thing and I felt for her. The energy wasn't good for me or my child, considering how well Dr. Hunter showed up for her 2 weeks prior and my baby didn't feel a thing (she was given diazapgam then). Dr. Hunter's gentle care came from having young children herself. When it was time to start the fillings my girl screamed since the trauma occurred already and essentially never got her fillings. Dr. Cook set her tools down abruptly, removed her gloves in a haste and said "this is why we do things the way we do them", tells the staff to reschedule and dashes to her office without another gentle word to me or my daughter. The condescension to the staff was awful. It was "aht, aht, aht, leave the chair (in a lying position) so it's ready when I return". Not one of leadership but of control. The dental assistant was obedient but as a patient, please sit me up for the moments it takes for the numbing to kick in. I asked to hold a phone/video above my daughter's head to help distract her, and the response was as if she was speaking to a child and not a 44 year old woman. Other dental practices have tvs in the ceiling purposefully, but the response to me was, "so long as her head doesn't move while I'm working". The energy was really a "no". What's crazy is that I saw some of her tendencies in me with my own children at times, and I have an incentive to now course correct. That is not how you treat staff that are learning, and definitely not how you treat patients. I hate that I didn't advocate for my child better especially after how Dr. Cook handled things. You trust a doctor's expertise and then it goes wrong along with bad energy, and what felt like blame. Thank you again Jerry and the beautiful dental assistant. My children will only be seen by Dr. Hunter going forward. I may however find another dental practice for myself. Adult interactions with Dr. Cook were always pleasant, but never again with my children.

Fantastic experience: It's been several years since I've been to the Dentist. I used to go to Dr. Cook office prior to COVID. Things took a turn family wise, and I am just returning. The staff was wonderful. They didn't judge me for how long it's been. They even complemented me about my teeth and gums. I credit the education I received from them in the past. I do need some work, but I am happy with her team and the family atmosphere. I wouldn't change her for anything.

I also like how the staff get along. I had xrays done today, an exam by the dentist and teeth cleaning/polishing. Overall everything went well.

Fantastic experience: Had to switch Dentist due to changes in network. A friend referred me to Dr. Cook. Service was very courteous and on time. Loved their digital onboarding option. Did not have to feel out paper work once I arrived. Also they take extra precautions due to the current pandemic. Lastly they have a long history in the community.

Again the staff was awesome! Dr. Cook and her assistant were so kind and gentle. They talked to me cause I was nervous. Before I knew it my fillings were completed. Fantastic experience: My visit at CDC was pleasant as usual, but today, my teeth were cleaned by a young man that I had never seen before. He was kind, considerate, and he gave me the best cleaning that I ever had! I told Dr. Cook about that experience, and I asked if he was a new technician and I told her how excellent he had been. Although other technicians had been good on my other visits, he had been the best! I also told her that I hoped that he would always be there!

Dr. Cook has the office running like a well oiled machine with care and personality!! I received special care from the dental assistant, the dental hygienist, Dr. Cook and the young man who sat me down to explain my next appointments. Dr. Cook formulated a plan for my oral health that is doable and realistic. Thank you Dr. Cook and your staff!!

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at Cook Dental and today wasn’t any different. I’m always greeted by name at check-in even before they pull me up on the computer. I usually arrive early, and they seem to get me in. All employees at Cook Dental are caring, respectful, and nice. I recommend all my family and friends to try Cook Dental. Fantastic experience: Going thru the door I was nervous and scared to deaf but I left with the confidence of a lion. When I say Dr. Cook is awesome, I swear it had to be nobody but God to lead me in this direction when I say this lady melt my heart by the end of the visit. Negative experience: I wasn't impressed at all. They pushed my appointment back two hours. They didn't call me in on new time. I didn't see them wipe the equipment before I used it. The dentist didn't to do what I wanted. Like she was spending the money. I finally asked about an alternative then she gave me details. Another patient came in after I did but was seem before me.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly. My appointment was at 10 and I was in the chair around 10:15 I was getting in my car around 11 I enjoyed the dynamics between the two ladies who took care of me Great job ladies Great job

Negative experience: I went in for a cleaning a week or so ago and They didn’t even clean my teeth. The girl polished and flossed and then Dr Cook came in and checked them.

Negative experience: I reviewed this company months ago and just saw the companies (Dr.Cooks) responded. The orginal review was 1 star as well and I stated how doctor cook numbed me for a procedure only to come in and say that “I didn’t need it lucky me” after they have already stuck me with a needle several times ( nothing lucky about that) her response to the review is”procedures change” nothing change she misdiagnosed the need for a certain procedure stuck me several times and then avoided taken accountability as she continues to do. Take accountability for unnecessary dental procedures it’s careless and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: My visit went well. The staff was very nice and carried out everything professionally. They even informed me of all that I needed to know. I appreciate them for scheduling and appointment that met my convenience.

Fantastic experience: Today was the best experience I've ever had in a dental office! Dr. Cook and all of her staff are amazing!! My crown and filling went super smooth and with ultra minimal discomfort. I'm looking forward to the rest of their plan to get my dental needs squared away. Fantastic experience: Walking into the office for the 1st time, the front staff was very friendly. Since it were my first time, they were able to schedule me too be seen, right then & that touched my heart ❤️. After going to the back, I were greeted so warmly. The entire staff was just awesome. Dr. Cathy Cook, also warm my heart, she was very thorough going over the xrays & everything what's needs too be done. I would highly recommend her Dentist Office to whomever looking for a Dentist.

Positive experience: I took time to think about posting this review.I am very dissatisfied with my overall experience for my scheduled periodontal cleaning.I was belittled and made to feel insecure due to me not being able to keep up with my schedule 2024.Cathy Cook did not show any empathy for my situation concerning my insurance this year and actually made me sign a treatment refusal form.She was so passive aggressive and bias due to me representing something different than the normal perception of what black people suppose to stand for.And really let her emotions get the best of her,by trying to make my app experience horrible.Very dismissal of my feelings and concerns.The hygienist was okay however the tone was I inviting and very reprimanded.Your job is to do the treatment and deliver your recommendations in a professional manner,I am not a child and you do not speak to me as such.Thankfully I am a critical thinker with discernment,and I’m able to not let other people projections get to me overall.However that was the worse experience I had being a patient of Cook Dentistry.Henry Cook was the best dentist and more welcoming and non judgmental during his tenure.I am really thinking about changing my general dentist office.I do not have time to deal with people trying to make a point for self fulfillment.Also the office smelled horrible like a sewage line was broken that was the most disgusting experience as well.

Fantastic experience: I was thinking about my prior dental memories with “yanks” in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out what would be behind that door leading to the chairs used for an amazing array of dental services! The atmosphere was quite warm and seducing, the TV was not tuned in to HGTV or any DIY nonsense and the music was very palatable and I enjoyed myself immensely during the entire visit! I finally reached “Dental Paradise” and I feel re- invigorated, God Bless you all!

Positive experience: I arrived for my appointment at 9:30, thinking my appointment was at 10 but that I’d need to fill out paperwork as a new patient. They told me my appointment was scheduled for 11:00, which was 100% my own fault. However, they said they’d be able to see me early since they had had some cancellations. Had I known that they wouldn’t bring me back until AFTER my appointment time, I would have left to get a quick workout in. Instead, I wasted an hour and 35 minutes sitting in the waiting room. The actual appointment didn’t start until 11:20. What a waste of my time. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly.
