Negative experience: Before your go to Aspen in Columbus or any other location, Just understand this, My wife went for dentures and implants in Jan 2024. . She was given an estimate for the work. Once the work was started we had to intervene with Aspen and the insurance company several times as Aspen could not submit the correct paperwork to get paid. Therefore, turning around and billing us. There billing practice and fees are outrageous and poor explanations of work. I would never recommend going to Aspen Dental to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Kelsie was so great!!! She was tender with my teeth, walked me through each step she did, and has the best communication skills!!! I could talk to her for hours! Thank you again!!

Negative experience: Customer service could be a hell of a lot better. The receptionist never gave me the information the Dr said to give me price list for 2 different things & when it come to prices and fees don't hit the customer after the fact with these phenomenal fees when they are told one thing then by the end they want you to take a care credit with outrageous apr..it's just not right.. and to add more after having an appointment on a Friday 1045 am and sitting in the waiting room for 45 mins, then finally being able to get my X-rays and then talk with the dentist.. who then says.. BUT... you will have to make ANOTHER appointment to come back as we close at 1230 pm on FRIDAYS.. ME REALLY.. WTH.. Why didn't they tell me this when the appointment was made.. I'm ssoo disgusted, so now I have to go the entire weekend with a aching tooth that was supposed to be taken care of at this appointment, which I took off work for so I would have the weekend to recover. who does that to a person. I get just a dumb look on the Dr face. If I can find another Dr to pull this tooth then the hell with this place. And to think no meds for the pain or antibiotics.. nothing. When I asked the receptionist who also was a waste of time.. uhm the Dr is gone already..I can't.. I'm looking for a real dental office to go to., with bedside manners throughout the office, although the dental assistant was nice. That's the only reason they get 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: Every one was really nice here, doctor Ana took my scans and let me know what i needed done and what it would intale, then doctor kelsie checked my gums and recomended a cleaning. The overall experuence was very nice and worth the hour and a half drive it took mt to get to this aspen dental.

Fantastic experience: McKenzie was so sweet and helpful and encouraging! Everyone at Aspen in Columbus, GA was very kind and put me at ease. Dental visits are so stressful, but McKenzie, Megan, and the Columbus crew made my visit almost enjoyable.

Negative experience: This place is all about $ id recommend not entertainment this place for dental care. I went in for a cleaning and not one person who examined my teeth said anything to me about what was going on except that i dont have any cavities. I was then told I would need to speak to someone about the cost of what happens next. Apparently I need other dental work to be done and they refuse to do anything until I paid over $1000 with insurance. I would have been a lot more receptive to having the procedure done had it been explained in the exam room what exactly was going on. Huge lack of communication on their part. UPDATE: I went to a different local dentist and I did not need any of what Aspen dental claimed I needed. If aspen tells you you need XYZ dental work done go get a second option. Aspen will try to rob you blind with their questionable ethical business practices. Avoid this place

Negative experience: Aspen dental veterans pkwy. Only cares about money and profit. There is no consideration for the well being of their patients. Because I hadn’t been to there office for a cleaning in 1 year. They Wanted to charge me over 2300 hundred dollars for a deep cleaning. There should be an investigation in this office.if they tried to do this to me . How many more customers are being scammed and ripped off. Plus there bathroom and lobby are disgusting very dirty and unsanitary. Dirty floors dirt and dust underneath furniture. Wow what a place. How are they even open Someone please do an investigation to this office.

Negative experience: This is the Absolutely the worst dentist appointment I have ever had . My appointment was at 1:30 . I was there untill 4:47 pm . This is like a assembly line practice . They get to you when they get to you . Out of all that time I saw the dentist about 7 minutes or less . They said I needed $23,000. Worth of work done . After my insurance I would owe $18,000 . I am 71 yrs . Who would pay that ? As far as I could tell this is a SCAM office or company . I had a similar experience about 20 yrs ago when I lived in California . I couldn't remember why I was Leary of Aspen Dental , now I know why . I'm on SSA , how could I ever pay this Bill ? I would never send my Worst enemy there . I would NEVER Recommend any one to this place never ... SLogan

Negative experience: This is a terrible place to go for your dental needs. Aspen dental of Columbus, Georgia who’s on Veteran Parkway does not value your time. I was at this location on the 11 of February 2026. to be quite honest I was there from 1:20 PM until 4:55 PM my appointment was at 1:45 PM . Just For them to tell me they’re going to refer me out. Let’s begin Before they even called my name to go to the back I was in the waiting room for about two hours. after getting to the back finally, I had to wait 45 more minutes because the Nurse abandoned me to go and work on another patient. The nurse said it out of her own mouth.” I just keep abandoning my patience”. But let me add she was not a bad nurse. being in the back for about an hour and 45 minutes the nurse then said she’s gonna bring me back up to the front desk so I can have a consultation with the hygienist to find out the hygienist had left for today so I was going to talk to the lady that was at the front desk which was on the left side of the office if you’re facing in and turn to the right. Keep in mind there are two ladies at the front desk and the one on the right well she was not pleasant at all. after me sitting there for about two more hours, listening to them laugh giggle and do small talk with another customer. May I add the lady on the right is the receptionist . When they finally got to me about 4:50 PM the receptionist on the right side then begin to ask me which tooth is hurting so I told her ma’am, please look at my chart. No correction, I said What does my chart say? then she goes on to tell me that she’s trying to help me because the lady that I was going to do the consultation with she still over there Laughing with the customer at this point. I was at my limit as I go to walk out of this dental office. She tells me to have a good day ma’am and that’s when I told her do not tell me, to have a good day she was being funny because she was rolling her head and rolling her eyes and doing hand movement so I know she was being funny. I never got my consultation. just know I wanted to cuss so bad but I didn’t. I am so proud of me. I just had to let you know that this was not a pleasant visit for me.

Negative experience: Stop over paying for dental care because this place is absolutely horrendous and before you can get anything done like a crown they make you get a full Teeth cleaning and that’s over $2000. This is not a joke I can show you improving.. I need a crown badly and they’re denying me and my insurance company said that they are investigating it because they cannot make you do something.. Don’t go here they are so overpriced. It’s crazy. Three crowns and two bridges should cost me no more than 2500 bucks out of my pocket and that’s what my insurance told me They were trying to charge me $18,000 Dollars.

Fantastic experience: Went to get my teeth examined and together I was greeted by Shandell, very pleasant and friendly. Staff was friendly provided detailed view of exam and treatment needed.

Negative experience: From initially inquiring about this place as it was covered by my newly acquired insurance scheduling has been a piece of work (I should've known better). Finally, I'm in and get to an appointment where the desk staff was pleasant although they did have a rough start this particular morning due to staffing shortage behind the desk. Work up went smoothly (I guess) and we gotten through it. Upon checkout, they put me back in the lobby to await someone to go over a cost plan for said work needed to be done. Once realizing it was of course delayed before being counseled I asked if they could call me with the information and follow-up cost for scheduling they "of course, no problem " to date nothing (January 15 appointment date). Many calls to office, no answer voicemail ask for message to call back. Yet no call back yet. I want a new dentist

Negative experience: I usually don't leave reviews but after getting a second option it was a must. If my son hadn't had a good experience I would have only left 1 star. Me and my daughter were both told we had gum disease and for me it would be $10k total after insurance for treatment but if I put almost $1k down I could make monthly payments. Come to find out i only need i extra cleaning which is an out of pocket cost of only $70 and 1 cavity. My daughter brushes her teeth religiously so for them to say that about her instantly thru up a red flag.

Dr. Jackson was the dentist who pulled my tooth and he was fantastic. Honestly, it was not a bad experience at all! And I am a big chicken! I really did not feel anything uncomfortable! Today, I brought my mom, and once again it was a joy from start to finish. They made her feel so comfortable and cared for. Negative experience: When getting dental work. He broke a tooth that didn’t require anything done to it. I was going in for basic work. The 3D/4D image thing is a scam they pretty much force you to do. I was saying no to it. They kept asking. I finally said yes. Then they charged my insurance a ridiculous amount for doing it. The amount charged totally was OUTRAGEOUS. This whole place is a scam.

The entire office had a positive atmosphere, But what REALLLLYYYYY put the icing on the cake was employee Mackenzie!!! What a wonderful person she was... She made my whole visit comfortable because I was so shameful and nervous walking into the dental office. But she set the tone and made everything WONDERFUL... She made the visit very assuring that I had no reason to be shameful and embarrassed.. I'M HERE NOW AND WILL HAVE A GREAT SMILE!!! Way to go Mackenzie!!!! 10/10 hands down!!!! Negative experience: I will NOT ! give this dentist office no star the worst I've ever been to. I Needed a cap to be cemented back on they tell me it won't work and it would fall off the next day. So I went to my personal dentist because they was closed at the time. They put it back on very simple and would last for years. Aspirin I would not recommend my puppy to them.
