Fantastic experience: At the age of 52, I've experienced quite a few dental offices and quite a few hygienists. I've never sat in the chair of a bad hygienist. I've also never sat in the chair of an exceptional one until now. In for a regular cleaning and checkup, I wasn't expecting much more than the regular polite discussion and the professionalism that I always receive at Cascade. I was surprised by Jennifer! She's been a hygienist for over 20 years and it shows! I'm always very calm and relaxed in the Dentists' chair but she somehow made it downright enjoyable! I'm a talker (so says my wife) and although Jennifer was talking to me, she wasn't asking questions at the wrong times so I felt like I had to answer while she had her hands...and a metal hook... in my mouth! We laughed, learned, discussed, questioned and answered through the whole appointment. It was, as I said, truly enjoyable! Thank you Jennifer, and the whole Cascade staff, for starting my morning in a wonderful way!

Fantastic experience: Mine was an emergency call. A piece of the molar had cleaved off. Cascade got me scheduled for the afternoon with one of their dentists. He broken piece was extracted and a filling added to the molar. No further work required. Job well done.

Fantastic experience: Went in for my annual cleaning and always have such a pleasant experience with them! Jennifer, the hygienist that did my cleaning, was so sweet and provides a comfortable environment. They provide helpful tips on how to be better with dental care at home, and if your dentist isn't in that day they always have another one come in to examine and make sure no work is needed in the future. I was initially referred here after my Dentist was no longer available in Eudora, and got a letter recommending Dr. Glendening and I have had nothing but good experiences!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Cascade for decades. The staff are a big part of that longtime choice. Monica is a wonderful and funny hygienist. Brent Jones always stops by every time I come in, just to check in. Yes we are on a first name basis and share our latest family stories, despite mouths (mine) being quite busy.

Negative experience: They refer to out of network people all the time and don’t tell you who they sent you to is not in network! Then when you go to who they referred you to it cost arm and a leg because not in network! I called Cascades Dental about it. The manager was so rude and disrespectful that I am in shock that with her attitude she even has a job. I asked her why they would send me to somebody that is not in network. Her response was they usually are. I asked the oral surgeon. When is the last time they took Blue Cross Blue Shield? They told me it has been two years since they have taken it. But Cascade Dental said that they call everybody first of the year to make sure they still take Insurance for customers and verify which insurance they take. The manager got very rude and disrespectful when I told her what they told me, and I also told her somebody is not telling the truth. She started yelling and screaming at me over the phone and then proceeded to tell me how rude I was to her for questioning the dental office. Now I am not allowed to go to that dental office. I am not mad at them just frustrated. It was very unprofessional and I’m disappointed in them.

The staff are super wonderful as well. Today was my first time ever that I had to come in on an emergency. Linda was super nice, compassionate and professional as can be. She got me in without an appointment, took my X-ray, set up my root canal appointment (she called several places so I can be seen at the earliest possible time) and called in my Rx. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going to Cascade, especially for those that struggle with dental anxiety! I recently had some fillings done and Dr. Ritchie and the supporting staff were amazing. I was very anxious and they took the time to make the room more comfortable for me, let me pick something for the TV, and checked to make sure I was ok before getting started. Dr. Ritchie talked me through what she was doing and she did a fantastic job!

Fantastic experience: I came to Cascade after a bad experience at my old dentist’s office. My experience there left me terrified of the dentist, and I in fact skipped going for check ups entirely for a while. I found Cascade and tried it based on the reviews, and my experience has been amazing. Everyone is so kind and gentle, and the doctors particularly are incredibly helpful and I never feel pushed into equipment or procedures without alternatives (which was a major issue at my old office). I feel supported when I have a concern or ask questions. Thanks to them, I am no longer afraid.

Fantastic experience: I went in this a.m. to start the process of four new crowns to replace the old ones in the front, and I was hesitant. Between Dr. Ritchie and Janelle, it was a relatively painless process. I am going to be very happy with my new front teeth! Janelle had to do some fine detailing with the temporaries, and she was outstanding! The best dentists I have been to in a very long time...

Fantastic experience: This is literally the best dental practice I have ever been to. They are extremely kind, the office is very clean and well kept, and all of my cleanings have gone well. They are took great care of my 4 year old that had a “dead tooth” and dental abscess that day when we called. Dr. Ritchie is the best!

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to Cascade Dental for about 20 years now. Although the name has changed a few times over the years, the quality of their work has not. The offices are very nice and the staff friendly and professional. When our kids were young the staff was great with them. I highly recommend them to anyone. Just a quick update 9/4/24 It's been a while since I've written my review above. My family and I have still been going here and again we've always been very happy and still are. During my last checkup it was discovered I had a cavity forming around one of my current fillings. It's probably been over 3 to 4 decades since I've actually had to have a feeling. While I was nervous since it's been so long I have to say everything went smoothly. The staff and doctor for friendly and helpful and I was in and out of there in a relatively short time. If you're looking for a new dentist and just moved to the area or looking to switch I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: As always on time and on point ! Even I was on time this time! No jokes though if you need a dentist this is the place to go ! Dr.Glendining and his staff and the other folks that make it all work including the front desk and receptionists. They do a great job everytime I go there..This time it was just a checkup and cleaning .There wasnt a minute wasted but nothing was rushed either.Forty minutes in and out.They always have a plan and its never a secret or surprise.If you need some work done theyll call your insurance and map it out for them and for you and let you decide when or if you want or need extra work .Thanks Cascade!

Fantastic experience: From the day my 95-yr-old mother and I arrived at Cascade Dental Care, three years ago, we have received the most welcome and courteous staff, as patient as any group could be, even when I was 15 minutes late recently after being stuck in traffic, they waited for me, their last patient, and were so understanding and as efficient and empathetic as always.
