Fantastic experience: Great experience getting a deep cleaning for my teeth. I was nervous but they calmed my fears and JULIE was EXCELLENT and very professional. I will be going back for all future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Advanced Dental and Dr. Smith. I have severe dental anxiety and, because of that, I have put off dental care much longer than I should have. I went in needing two teeth extracted, one of which had a significant infection that made it difficult to numb and remove. Dr. Smith was absolutely wonderful. He never made me feel embarrassed or judged for my anxiety or for delaying dental care. He explained what he was doing, took extra care to make the numbing injections as comfortable as possible, and repeatedly checked to make sure I was adequately numb before proceeding. When I felt pain during the extraction, he immediately stopped and gave me additional anesthetic without ever making me feel like I was being difficult. There were certainly moments when I was anxious because dental work is difficult for me, but throughout the entire appointment I felt safe, comfortable, listened to, and cared for. The entire staff was kind and professional, and Dr. Smith earned my trust during what could have been a very difficult experience. I will absolutely be returning to him for the rest of the dental work I need. If you have been avoiding the dentist because of fear or anxiety, I highly recommend Dr. Smith and Advanced Dental. I genuinely could not have asked for better care.

Positive experience: I’ve only been here 2 times. First was a limited exam with dr. Emara who quit between my first and second visit. The second was a root canal permanent filling. Dr. Jesse smith was filling in for dr emaras appointments I guess, and he was very good. No complaints at all he would get this place 5 stars. However my appointment was at 11:40 and I wasn’t called back until 12:28. The wait was a bit much. All in all I was looking for a new primary dentist and don’t feel like I was able to establish one here after 2 visits so I am going back to my old dentist in Springfield.

Negative experience: This dentist office has gone way downhill! New office and Bad Service! Periodontal Cleaning is Only needed for bone & tooth decay & gum disease and they INSIST that you get this Cleaning because they want More money than what a Regular Cleaning pays!

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in years dew to no insurance coverage. I made an appointment and was fully expecting to be told id have to have dentures. Needles to say I was nervous about it, but once I got there the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. After looking at the xrays the dentist came in and explained his plans for my dental work and it did not include dentures! And after the work was done I was very happy with the work and the overall experience . Great facilitie and great people. Thanks advanced dental team for giving me my smile back

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Giovanni at Advanced Dental. When I sat down and was waiting for the operation to go underway, the staff there made sure I was comfortable. Before the procedure Dr. Giovanni went ahead and numbed the areas with care (even though I don't like needles), went ahead and waiting for me to get numbed. He went ahead with the procedure as plan, after removing the first wisdom tooth out of the four, he kindly ask me if I was doing okay and wasn't feeling any pain. After the second wisdom was pulled I started feeling pain so he was kind enough to re-numb me, which was kind of him. After the last 2 wisdom teeth were pulled he made sure to stop the bleeding from my mouth not lasting more than 5 minutes. I already had the medicine that Dr. Giovanni prescribe to me which really helped the pain in the long run. The staff took care of me and made sure I had a ride home which was nice of them. All in all it was amazing service.

A friend recommended Dr. Emara, and I’m so glad I took their advice. From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly, which helped ease my nerves. Dr. Emara was fantastic and he took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable before starting any treatment. Turns out, I had a small crack in my tooth that needed a filling. He fixed it quickly and painlessly, and I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth the whole process was. Now, my tooth feels perfect again, and I’m no longer nervous about going to the dentist. Dr. Emara is truly a professional who cares about his patients, and I won’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for top-quality dental care!

They got me in the next day and took care of the problem Ann C. and the dental hygienist were wonderful. I really like the dentist. Also they took care of my problem immediately. I have gone several times since then everyone has been very polite and attentive, and I will not go to another dentist from now on.. I would recommend this company to anyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency appointment this week and they got me scheduled with an appointment the next day without missing very much of work too. The staff was so nice and they have a very nice establishment. It was such immediate relief from the pain that I'm so thankful for.. I'm planning to have them as our family's place for dental care. I had heard from some people at work that they were really good and I definitely agree. They were also understanding of my anxiety issues and talked me through everything. I highly recommend them if you need any dental care!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone I dealt with there was super nice from the beginning. I had a horrible toothache and they were able to get me in quickly. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist but they made me comfortable the whole time !! Super great experience

Negative experience: Horrible experience. I had not been to the dentist in years due to my dental anxiety. I made my appointment and was asked to send my insurance information to them so that they could verify it. This was a month or so before my appointment even happened. Fast forward to the appointment and I get all of my x rays taken and configure a plan to get all of the work done to get me caught up. My insurance pays for a cleaning and x rays every year so I walked out of the office with an invoice that said I didn’t owe anything. Today I get a message stating that I owe $85 for my visit. I asked them why I had an outstanding balance and they tell me that my insurance is out of network. Why was I not informed that my insurance was out of network in April when I first scheduled my appointment?! Now I have wasted weeks of time and benefits from my insurance and have to go and pay full price for getting set up somewhere different all because they didn’t communicate with my from the start that they don’t except my insurance. What a SCAM, as you can see I am not the first person that has had this issue here based on the reviews below.

Negative experience: Avoid these people! Attempted to book an appointment and "Angie" demanded my Social Security Number. What's up with that? Paperwork can wait until I'm present in the office! According to Title 31 of the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR), an individual shall not be denied a right or benefit because the person refused to disclose his or her SSN.

Fantastic experience: Ann and Shelly were awesome! They treated me like they've known me my whole life, even though I was a new patient. Very nice ladies working there.

Negative experience: I went in to ask if they could fix my bridge that had a chip in the front. They said it could not be fixed and I needed a entire new bridge at a cost of 8000.00. After saving my money up for 7 months I decided to try Ozarks dental studio. I walked in without an appointment and 30 minutes later he was done fixing my bridge for 200.00 and he did an excellent job. I'm so happy I didn't listen to the people at advanced dental.

Fantastic experience: I have never given 5 stars to any place!!!! But I have to say that I have had the best experience every from a dental office.. The ladies at the front desk, the dental assistants, the dentist!!!! THEY ALL ROCK!!!! If you need dental work go see these folks, you won't be sorry!!!!

Negative experience: Make sure to plan ahead for dental emergencies with this office. An emergency gets your seen in a month. Absolutely ridiculous!

Positive experience: My daughter who’s 12, said she didn’t care for her hygienist. She didn’t talk and was very rough. She walked out with her gum on one side bleeding! They didn’t read the allergies form, since my daughter is allergic to fluoride, which we gave Benadryl once home. The dentist was very friendly and good, but my kiddo left unhappy. I wish they would have told me they were doing two different x-rays, since the panorama one is expensive and our insurance only covered half.

Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist l. I have had so many bad experiences. Today was one of those days that I dreaded, going to the dentist that was. I will never say that I dread the day again. I had 2 fillings and after the numbness wore off no pain. Why they had this neat little thing that hold your jaw open to keep you from having too. Will be back of course they won me over!

Fantastic experience: Deep dental cleaning are words most run the other direction when they hear it. That was my thought too. Until today, the staff are always welcoming and the hygiene staff were so great I barely felt any irritation and left with a big smile.

Fantastic experience: We've been going to Dr. Cox (great dentist by the way) for ages but the past couple of visits have been with Dr. Goldstein, I was nervous about the kids seeing someone new because Cox has been so great... but Goldstein is so amazing with kids and is just great!! I'm so happy he's now a part of the advanced dental team. He's absolutely great and I know when Dr. Cox finally retires that my kids will still be in great hands.
