Fantastic experience: For as long as I can remember, I've had a crowned front tooth — and for just as long, I've never been fully satisfied with how it looked. When that my last crown broke prematurely, I decided this time would be different. I spent a solid month of evenings researching materials, techniques, and providers before making a decision. I ran the research through multiple AI tools, got several quotes, and came in with a long list of questions. Dental Specialists of Edmond was the only practice that answered every one of them confidently and thoroughly. They came out on top every time — and after meeting the team in person, I understood why. Yes, they're out of network for me. Worth every extra penny. The staff is genuinely wonderful. This office helped me and treated me with so much kindness when an issue arose that I was struggling to get help with. In addition they treated me absolutely respectfully and gave me time to process decisions. Fantastic experience: I have been in dental chairs for decades— numerous cleanings, crowns, bridges, fillings and an implant. Needless to say, all has not been pain free and I have very sensitive teeth. Today I had my teeth cleaned today by Jessica, who not only did a fantastic job but took pains to see that I had none! She was thorough, careful and gave me advice for better home care. I highly recommend Dental Specialists of Edmond.

Negative experience: I was a patient of Dr Reeves for almost 20 years. He was an amazing, compassionate, and thoughtful provider. I recommend him numerous times over the years. I stayed at the N. May location for cleanings because the hygienists were great. The insurance processing became a nightmare and incorrect from the beginning. No one working up front knew what was going on, and now I’m billed for things covered by insurance. I will never return or recommend them to anyone. They lost a patient because of continuous deterioration in service after Dr Reeves left. What a loss to us all.

Negative experience: Charged a 52 dollar copay for a consult when I have Delta coverage I havr never paid that amount anywhere ( I went to Peridontal Implant Center Edmond with NO fee right after) . Anywaysss...almost 600 estimate for a biopsy out of pocket cost- they wouldn't file under my medical. Almost he could have better front office staff....Hard pass on this place.

Negative experience: I wasn’t planning to leave a review, till I got two notifications to do so. Unfortunately, though I was very excited about my consult, I was very disappointed. They claim to do one piece zerconia implants…now I know not often . My preliminary questions I asked on the phone before making the appointment were great answers. I asked how long have you been doing zirconia implants and what is your infection rate (the receptionist even checked with the doctor before answering). I did make it clear that I was interested in zirconia only implants when I made the appointment. The 2 piece that they use is a hybrid with titanium so that would not be ok - I didn’t find that out till I was in the consult. I was also told that was the only way it in which it was made - I found that odd because Swiss dental solutions does have a hybrid AND a zerconia only 2 piece. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was the brand they use. I didn’t ask the brand they use at the time. DR. YACOUB AL SAKKA said that DR. TAPAN KOTICHA would have to say whether I could have the one piece zirconia implant or not and he wasn’t there. (When I made the appointment they said I would meet with both) I also asked for an estimate…I haven’t received one still even after waiting over two weeks. With the removal and bone grafting already done elsewhere, it was given at the end of the consult visit. I also asked if I was going to have to repay for the consult since what I wanted was unable to be addressed with just DR. YACOUB AL SAKKA. They said, I’ll get back to you and they did not. Overall, it just convinced me that I needed to get this done elsewhere. Currently, I am traveling to Tulsa with an implant specialist there for the care I asked for. They have been wonderful to work with.

Positive experience: Many problems with scheduling, from first procedure being re-scheduled 2 days prior. Had full mouth implants put in 3 months ago, enamel is wearing off one of the teeth, have to wait 1 month to see Doctor. Was scheduled to have teeth cleaned today, arrived, and they told me that my appointment had been changed, when I called to verify a week ago. I live approximately 2 hours away, so this has been a big inconvenience. Unfortunate when you spend a lot of money and have these things happen.
