Fantastic experience: I recently had an old gold onlay replacement originally done decades ago by Dr. Ira Niederman, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience at Lake Forest Dental. Dr. Laniel Razdolsky is truly a gentle, “painless” dentist. He made sure the topical anesthetic fully took effect before giving the injection, and the entire procedure was virtually pain-free. He explained everything clearly as he went and consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable. The entire staff was outstanding—professional, kind, and clearly a well-coordinated team. The office uses advanced, state-of-the-art technology, including digital impressions, which made the process so much more comfortable than the traditional methods I remember from years past. My temporary restoration was done with care right in the office, and photos were taken to ensure an excellent color match for the final crown. I highly recommend Dr. Razdolsky and Dr. Monika Tincher at Lake Forest Dental Associates. This was an exceptional, stress-free experience from start to finish—easily 5 stars! Lynette

Fantastic experience: I'm an endodontist (root canal specialist) who has taken care of people in the local community for over 25 years. My long time friend/dental classmate/Navy shipmate was my dentist, but he decided to retire. I chose Dr's Razdolsky and Tincher to take care of me because of their superb dental knowledge, kindness (of themselves and their staff), and exceptional state of the art practice. I feel comfortable and well cared for through all the phases of care: initial diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution. I have found my "new dental home". Thank You.

Lake Forest Dental Associates are consistently amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Here's the still true and rave review! True professionals who genuinely care about their patients. Both Dr.s are attentive, give full explanations, and follow up. The staff is always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring as well. Simply the best.

Fantastic experience: Great office and what is more important great doctor. I had several procedures done by Dr. Laniel Razdolsky and attention to detail is unparalleled to any other dentist I have used before.

Negative experience: Paid @300 for a consult. They insisted on using their own xrays, although I had new ones sent to them. I waited, maybe 40 minutes to be seen by the xray tech - she didn't ask about radiation sensitivity and just took the shots without providing any protection. Another long wait for the dentist to finally come in. He said he'd write up his recommendation with a quote, other options available, and send it to me. He never did. The only communications I received back from this office was a call requesting a $6 overdue balance, and several texts throughout the year indicating they would be out of office due to bad weather. As for my quote? Nada. I called twice, was told it was coming. Even received a vm with some attitude. But no quote. I wasted my time, and my money and got nothing. Except blasted by radiation. I would definitely not recommend this office. Frankly, I wouldn't mind a refund.

When I arrive, the front desk always greets me warmly and is very helpful with any questions. I have seen both Dr. Tincher and Dr. Razdolsky, and they are great! Both doctors are amazing with the care they provide where I know my teeth and health are in good hands. They’re not only knowledgeable, but easily communicate my treatment plan in a way that is easy to follow. Both dentists are great; Dr. Razdolsky is very informative and meticulous while Dr. Tincher is skilled, caring and considerate. Dr. Tincher made a routine filling, something I dread, an easy experience that was fast and easy. She understood my limitations and fears and adapted to make me comfortable without any hesitation. She was also interesting and very easy to talk to which was great as it kept me busy and distracted during the procedure. Overall, best experience I've had at any dentist. I'll definitely see her again and now I feel more apt to go more often. What I found surprising is her front desk staff are some of the nicest people you'll meet! And if you've ever been to a dentist office with rude staff you'll will really appreciate this super kind office staff. Rob and the rest of the staff make you feel comfortable and welcome right when you walk in which is especially nice if you're about to have a procedure that you're nervous for. Rob was also very patient and took the time to thoroughly explain my insurance and payment. It was also very easy to make appointments with this staff, they work around your schedule and they never pressure you or guilt you into making appointments. Give them a try!

In navigating a series of health setbacks recently, I've encountered a lot of practitioners exhibiting a broad array of skills, and none compare to Dr. Razdolsky and team. Not only was the treatment I needed handled, but Dr. Razdolsky isolated a problem I was unaware of, addressed it honestly, handled it deftly, and perhaps most importantly, did so while maintaining a manner of complete reassurance and equanimity, so much so that the typical distress one might associate with health issues was entirely assuaged. Fantastic experience: I had all my dental work and veneers done by Dr. Razdosky over 8 years ago when I lived in the Illinois and worked near Lake Forest. I know live on the west coast. Every dentist I have gone to since then has told me they have never seen such beautiful work. If I ever needed to have more work done, I would fly back to Chicago and go back to Dr. Razdosky. I am a physician myself and can truly say, he is the best.

Fantastic experience: I just want to give a shoutout to Robert! My Mom had a tooth break off her bridge. The elevator was not working at the time and my Mom was unable to climb the stairs. We really didn’t know what we were going to do. Robert went so above and beyond to help us figure out a way to get her bridge fixed. He was always so kind and friendly and was so on top of following up with phone calls to keep us aware of the options the dentist was recommending. It all ended well and her bridge was fixed. She is very thorough in her assessment process and asks a lot of detailed questions. She spent a lot of time treating my problem. Negative experience: I had made an appointment for a whitening. It was during the pandemic, 2020 or 2021, although I felt my health was possibly at risk. The technician was pleasant and welcoming to me, a new patient. She said she needed to consult with Dr. Tincher and brought her in. Dr. Tincher looked at me and said accusingly, "You haven't had your teeth cleaned regularly!"-something to that effect. I should have left then, such rudeness! I have had my teeth cleaned regularly all the life. She hadn't even looked at my teeth! The whitening accomplished very little. Choose a polite, sensitive dentist with a little bit of warmth. Those adjectives won't cost you any more.

As for both dentist, they are the best. Very smart and they make you feel like you’re their favorite patient. I’ve been very happy going to this office.

Fantastic experience: Just out of this world care. Brought my 3.5 year old for a cavity filling. I could provide zero support for her because I was just shaking in a corner (high high anxiety when it comes to medical anything.) My poor child, thank God my heroes stepped in and the magic started to happen. The doctor herself explained what was going to happen showed her the tools let her touch things they even brought out a weighted blanket I mean it was amazing. She did great! No tears no fear I would highly highly highly highly recommend this place with all of my heart.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased to see our friendly dental practice begin to reopen for cleanings! I had no reservations whatsoever. Dental offices are by nature super clean. LFDA has gone the extra step and installed super air purifiers and everyone is gloved, masked and cheerful. It was a welcome experience in these crazy times. I would encourage one and all to book a cleaning and get back in the practice of good oral hygiene – it's super important. If your dentists aren't seeing patients, then it's time for a change! The first question the asked “was I ok” “ how am I feeling.” They took me in right away and extracted my infected broken tooth. The process was great! Negative experience: While the staff here are very nice, I feel as if the doctors are trying to rip people off. I've heard stories from various family members and other patients I know, all which unfortunately reinforce my opinion. After hearing yet another story today, I decided to tell mine, which is pretty minor compared to what I've heard. I figured I'd let others write their own reviews if they wish, otherwise this would be pretty long. Whenever I'd have a cleaning, I'd be strongly encouraged by the doctors to try Invisalign since my teeth shifted after braces. They made it seem like it was a big deal and needed to be taken care of sooner than later or else it could get way worse. I was concerned about the shifting affecting my jaw and causing problems, so I asked them about it. They told I'd have to schedule a $35 Invisalign consultation for them to be able to tell, and that Invisalign would likely cost $2500 - $3000. I decided to go to an orthodontist instead, and he took one quick look at my mouth and told me that isn't going to affect my jaw at all, it's purely cosmetic and not any cause for concern. He seemed surprised that I was even considering Invisalign, since it seemed like total overkill for my problem. He gave me a $265 retainer and my teeth have already improved for much cheaper. Also, the consultation with the orthodontist was free. Also, I'm not sure if they're still doing this or not, but whenever I'd get an email after my appointment, I was encouraged to write a review. By leaving a review, I would get either $10 off my next appointment or a $10 Starbucks gift card. Something to keep in mind when looking at all the 5 star reviews.
