Fantastic experience: Our son is currently going through palatal expansion and the process with Dr Lauren and her team has been wonderful. Dr Lauren takes all the time needed to answer any of our questions, and goes into great detail of the process and care for our son. From the moment we step into the office until the moment we step out, we are treated kindly and warmly. Highly recommend this pediatric environment!

Fantastic experience: Staff are so helpful with toddlers

Fantastic experience: My daughter ended up getting an infection in one of her teeth. Of course it happened on a weekend. Dr Lauren responded quickly and saw her right away on a Sunday morning. Dr Lauren and her assistant Emily were phenomenal and made myself and my daughter feel at ease in a scary situation. Dr Lauren personally reached out to check on her later that night. We were beyond thankful for the care we received.

Fantastic experience: Wildflower went more than above and beyond. To get us in all the way to making my 13 year old comfortable about visits to the dentist. The entire office space resembles kid friendly atmosphere and has a calming effect. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We are so grateful they got us in. We need more pediatric dentist like this in Dubuque.

Fantastic experience: After being jerked around by another dental practice for almost two weeks, I was beyond frustrated. I was told my 2½-year-old needed to be put under general anesthesia at a hospital just to pull a baby tooth, with a price tag between $8k and $10k. My motherly instinct told me to get a second opinion, and thank goodness I found Wildflower Pediatric Dentistry. I was absolutely blown away by how genuine and kind everyone was from the moment we walked in. Dr. Lauren was a total godsend. She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and—most importantly—honest. She was able to pull the tooth (which had been loose for seven weeks!) right there in the office, the very same day. No hospital, no anesthesia, and no $10k bill. I am so thankful for Dr. Lauren and her wonderful staff. I immediately switched all three of my kids to this practice for their future cleanings. If you want a team that truly cares about your children and your peace of mind, look no further!

Negative experience: Deb are hygienist is always so friendly that says the new owners have taken over from doctor peckash, they are rude. They are nasty, and they have eliminated those clients who have been there for over 30 years because they might be in a wheelchair, and they do not want to get the chairlift fixed because they figure it would cost too much money. So they just eliminate anyone of special needs, so they do not have to Fix it So they just go ahead and tell those of special needs that they no longer can help them. This place, in my opinion should be brought up because it's against Americans with disability act.

Fantastic experience: Wildflower dentistry was great with my 4 year old! They were patient with him and took great care of him! He immediately loved the toys as he walked in while waiting, liked picking out his flavor for his teeth, and was really happy for his toy at the end. As we left, my son asked when we would be coming back! Great experience!

I am thankful for Wildflower Kids Dentistry, they have left a positive impact on our children's health.

Fantastic experience: The whole staff was incredibly kind and patient. My 7 year old son had to come in for a tooth extraction and they made sure to explain everything clearly and make sure I understood all our options. My son was pretty anxious but they were so sweet and patient with him. We will be making Wildflower our regular dental office after the amazing work they did today!

From start to finish, they were kind, patient, and incredibly reassuring—to both my child and us as parents. Their in-office anesthesia team was exceptional: knowledgeable, calm, and clearly experienced, which made a potentially stressful situation feel safe and well managed. We’re very grateful for the level of care and compassion shown to our family.

From the initial consultation, we felt thoroughly informed and confident in Dr. Lauren's expertise. Our daughter was diagnosed with lip and cheek ties, and following the surgical procedure performed by Dr. Lauren, she has become less fussy, experiences significantly reduced spit-up, and enjoys tummy time while rolling over effortlessly. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Lauren and wish all newborns could receive her expert evaluation.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has had several other appointments at a non pediatric dentist that never got past her sitting on my lap crying and them counting her teeth. This was a night and day difference. Somehow she was comfortable enough to just hop up on the chair by herself, get her teeth brushed, cleaned, flossed counted, the whole 9 yards. I'm so thankful we made the switch so an imporant part of being healthy is a positive experience for my daughter! I would recommend to everyone!

Negative experience: Dr Lauren is Amazing she is so patient with my son and reassures him of everything she was going to do before she even did it! I was nervous when his other dentist retired for him but now I know there was no need to be nervous so thank you!

Fantastic experience: If I could, I would recommend this team 50 times over! Did we drive over an hour to find the right fit for our girl for dentistry?! YES—would I do it over again?! In a heartbeat! After a couple of really poor experiences the team has alleviated so much stress and anxiety. They explain everything to my four year old in a way she understands and tolerates—two filling’s with hardly any fuss, she handled it like a champ! As an RN who’s worked with TONS of kiddos, I’ve seen what happens with bad experiences—traumatizing for the kiddo and parents. The wildflower team has made it everything BUT that—they also focus on the WHOLE kiddo and their mouth, not just the teeth! We’ll continue to receive dental care by Dr Lauren and her team, no doubt! ❤️

One of my children has autism and he has been going there for years and they treat him like he is one of their own. Can’t say how much I appreciate, what they do for him to make him comfortable my youngest son who is 2 just Had a procedure done on his teeth and they were wonderful with him. They made Me and his dad feel very comfortable and treated My son, like he was family so if you’re looking for a dentist, please go to wildflower. They are amazing!!!!

My son has been there as a patient for 3 years and he has great experiences. He is comfortable with the staff and they are incredibly patient with him (he is 4 years old). Recently he had four cavities filled and you would think he went to Disneyland! He tells everyone there that he loves them and they tell him that they love him too! And they do!! I would recommend this group to everyone I know! They are not just pediatric dentists in name, they are truly pro-children.Their waiting room is so inviting that it will make any wait fly by. Fantastic experience: My daughter had to get her first cavity filled and was very nervous, scared and upset. Dr Schau and her staff did amazing at trying to help her through it and calming her down as soon as it was over. We even received a follow up call later that day from Robin to check on her. This was above and beyond and shows just how caring Dr Schau and the Wildflower staff are!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lauren Schau is the dentist every parent dreams of! She offered an extremely personable and in-depth experience while attentively answering all of my questions. She is extremely passionate about her work & the health & wellbeing of her patients and parents. We were able to get our 3 week old in for a tongue and lip tie revision within 48 hours of calling the office in desperate need for this revision. Dr Lauren & her myofunctional therapist on site have a wealth of knowledge on this topic. A procedure that is usually nerve wracking for parents turned out to be extremely informative. I was confident that my baby was in great hands. Many parents have the same shared experience of cold, rushed, surface level doctors appointments leaving you with unanswered questions and a stranger to your provider. You no longer have to face that in pediatric dentistry, because Lauren and her amazing team will build a trusting relationship with you minutes after arriving! We will be establishing care for our children and will continue to make the 45 minute drive for our family because the care provided is unmatchable!

Fantastic experience: We took our 3 week old baby to get his tongue and lip tie released. Dr. Shau was amazing as well as her whole team. They made sure to answer all of our questions, reassure us, and even text us after we left and then the next day to check on us. We were blown away by their professionalism and kindness. They were not only caring professionals, but kind, caring humans, and mothers who truly wanted to help! We would refer them to everyone!
