Fantastic experience: The staff was so friendly, the IV anesthesia put me out fast, and when I woke up my wisdom teeth were gone! Super painless, felt like 10 seconds, when it was really 30 minutes. Would recommend to anyone wanting their wisdom teeth taken out!

Fantastic experience: A smooth experience for each of our teenagers getting their wisdom teeth removed. Professional yet friendly staff and doctors, comfortable lobby/waiting area. Able to talk to doctor before and after procedure with clear instructions for after care. Efficient appointments with upfront pricing and, if needed, follow ups were included.

Fantastic experience: I had osteoporosis necrosis, Dr. Shepherd quickly identified the problem. I was sent to an infectious disease specialist for treatment after Dr. Shepherd removed tooth and the dead tissue. I was in great pain with the bone disease. After one week of infusion I was feeling much better. I had infusions for a total of 43 days and I am now well. I am grateful to Dr. Shepherd for his timely actions and excellent care.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Shepherd and Angie are the absolute GOATS of this industry! I just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at 30 years old. Angie kept me totally cool & calm leading up to sitting in the chair, and Dr Shepard was very nice and quick. I don't even remember going to sleep! They also explained everything she would go threw for recovery. They were wonderful with the phone call to check on her and calm her down. Making a terrible experience as pleasurable as one could be I would never choose any other oral surgeons office for any oral surgery work.

Fantastic experience: Enormous amount of paperwork required to get past the front desk, which actually took longer than the procedure, but after that, I had a fantastic experience at Kalispell Oral Surgery, and how often can someone say that (in all honesty) about oral surgery? The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. I had an assigned staff who guided me through the entire process, start to finish, all the way to my car door in the parking lot when I was done. Dr Hanson took the time to explain every aspect of what was about to happen, and then followed through afterward with a detailed report about the process and outcome that I had missed while under anesthesia. I left with a clear understanding about what I needed to do to sustain the successful surgical outcome. The well-considered coordination of their ample staff resource and the subsequent excellent treatment of patients suggests a degree of training, commitment, and oversight that is sadly lacking in other healthcare facilities in the Flathead Valley at this time. The best part? The post-surgical pain that many had advertised (including my referral source) never arrived. I didn’t even need Tylenol afterward, much less any kind of prescription pain relief. Who knew that oral surgery could be so quick and easy—once you make it through the seemingly endless pages of preliminary paperwork. I can’t imagine that anyone does this any better, and the Wild West motif adds an extra dimension of fun. My only suggestion: cowboy boots and hats for the non-surgical staff. 7/2026: As my oral surgery journey continues, my #2 and #3 surgical experiences were just as positive as the first. Great team, great doctor, great results. I’m impressed by the consistent warmth, smiles, and positivity of the entire team, from the front desk to the back door. This practice is first rate.

I literally walked in unannounced on Monday this week (6-8-26) in excruciating pain from bitting down on a mint at work and crushing my wisdom tooth at 8:30am and then drove straight to their office by 9:30 and they fit me in, thank god, within 2 hours and extracted the broken tooth and had me on my way by 1pm. The front desk lady and all the staff and dentist/doctor were amazing. I went home pain free and slept so good last night. I’m so thankful and appreciative of their fast response and care. Fantastic experience: I had a cracked molar on a Thursday, by Sunday there was enough pain and some swelling so I called the emergency number and THE SURGEON picked up - wow. He met me (and my wife) a couple hours later, after church, in his office. After an extensive consultation (which included xrays) he layed out all options, including one that could possibly keep the tooth (very rare for a surgeon to lay out that option, but shows another exampme of his ethics). We developed a good game plan which included starting on some antibiotics. Two days later he took an appointment on his day off (with less than 24 hours notice) to take care of the tooth since things were not improving as much as we hoped. His beautiful office and staff are outstanding and very professional. I felt safe, and well taken care by clearly experienced individuals. The procedure went great and I could hardly believe how easy it was - no pain, a little nap, and it was done. Dr. Shepherd is world class. I have used top tier doctors in Chicago, Greenwich -CT, Manhattan, and San Francisco and he tops the list, hands down. We are very lucky to have him and his amazing staff in my home town of Kalispell.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Casey Shepherd is a gifted oral surgeon who, as an educated anesthesiologist, also administers anesthesia to his patients. He has skilled, gentle hands and a personable bedside manner, patiently listening, and never making me feel he is in a hurry. His staff are personable and capable, too. Most recently, I appreciated Halley's bright and cheerful demeanor. I highly recommend Kalispell Oral Surgery.

I had a consultation with Dr. Blanton who listened to me with interest, did not rush through the appointment, and provided me with clear and complete information about my situation that resulted in good news (the implant was not failing, and I did not need to have it removed and done again). I took my two teens in at the same time to get all four wisdom teeth out at once, and we were treated so well I couldn't believe it. Our daughter has since recovered very well despite the potential for infection and recurrence. Fantastic experience: the two times we've been with Kalispell Oral Surgery have been great experiences. this recent visit, our daughter had all four wisdom teeth removed and she was a little nervous. from the moment we step into the building we were greeted with a smiley and sweet receptionist, and met with a very comfortable waiting room. the nurse was so kind and welcoming and helpful. my daughter didn't want to know the details of the surgery, so i noticed how the nurse and the doctor went out of their way to make sure she felt comfortable and didn't know any more details than she wanted. they gave us all the details we needed to go home well. we're thankful for this place and the people in it!

Negative experience: Very disappointed I came in for a xray and consultation. 250.00 dollars later and at least 3 weeks with no follow-up of a dental plan from staff. Kinda disappointing if you come here for the decor you will be impressed. If you came for a procedure might be left in the dark based on my experience.

The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery was far easier than I expected thanks to the care and guidance I received. What stood out the most is how this entire team works together with such harmony and heart. They don’t just treat patients, they truly care for them. I was still in the neighborhood a couple hours after my surgery and my ice pack had melted, I went back in and asked if I could have another as I had a long drive home and they were more than happy to help me again. I am so grateful for Dr. Shepherd, Christie, and especially Kasey. If you’re in need of an oral surgeon, I wholeheartedly recommend this team. Negative experience: extremly expensive, 200 bucks for consultation which is all that was done 15 minutes at most. have to pay in advance before see dr. im at top of my field but dont even come close to this type pay. whether dr good or not good.$$$$
