Fantastic experience: My family has been serviced by Cambridge Family Dental for over 10 years. The staff is second to none and they leave our teeth feeling clean, our spirits in good understanding and a smile on our faces. My kids have never feared seeing the dentist and we have Dr Bauer to thank for that! We highly recommend Cambridge Family Dental!

Fantastic experience: When I went in to Cambridge Family Dental, for my first visit to any dentist in over 5 years, I was met with nothing but kindness. The ladies there were sure not to shame me for the state that my teeth were in, in fact they ensured me that all they wanted to do was help, not judge. Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this dentist to my worst enemy. I went in 4 days ago with tooth pain on my left side asking to get the tooth pulled. They then proceeded to take X-rays of my teeth which they took less than a year ago and told me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain and gave me an antibiotic. They did NOT pull the tooth but instead suggested root canals on 4 of my teeth which would also require crowns for a total of over $12,000. To sum it up I went to get a tooth extracted and ended up getting soaked over $300 for X-rays I never needed to begin with and got no relief of my tooth pain. The dentist here may be a nice person but she is also money hungry and won’t solve your problems. Like I said I wouldn’t go here again if they paid me.

The first visit was very thorough and painless!! I am so glad I found Dr. Angela's office - no more going to the dentist anxiety for me!!!

I had gone to another Dental practice and was instantly disappointed. I gave that clinic another chance and again I was disappointed. I found out that my insurance could do a prior authorization for me to be able to go back to the Cambridge Family Dental clinic. I am so happy to be back! Dr. Bauer-Williams and her staff are exceptional with the service that I get there.

Fantastic experience: Previously I went see my dentist that I have seen for many years to look at a tooth that was broken and they said required a root canal and crown and estimated cost of 3,500. I choose to live with it as I was not having any discomfort and honestly didn't have 3,500 to cover the procedures. My wife and Daughter were looking for a new dentist and decided to try out Cambridge Family Dental they had a wonderful experience so I thought I would try as well. I am so, so glad I did! Not only was my experience great but Dr. Bauer was able to repair the tooth without a root canal. I highly recommend the team at Cambridge Family Dental, you can tell how much they care and just want the best your you and your needs. As a Cambridge resident it is even more special to have such a wonderful team so close to home.

She finally convinced me to come to her after I aged out of my pediatric dentist 6 years ago and still makes sure I’m comfortable throughout my entire appointments. Not just her but my dental hygienist Crystal is the absolute BEST. She always remembers what we talked about 6 months prior and always says hi when we see each other at walmart. Not only is she compassionate, but you can see the passion she has for her job. She is always thorough during the exam and with the aftercare instructions. Fantastic experience: Cambridge family dental has been taking care of my family for years. As soon as you walk into the door Ann greets you by your name and always smiling! All the staff remembers you and talks to you like you are family. Dr. Bauer truly has the perfect team, always putting in the extra step to make sure their patients are taken care of. My latest experience with Crystal was personable and the cleaning was done well in a timely manner. Oh, and you can’t forget the convenient reminders they send out for all your appts!

Fantastic experience: I had several dental issues and Dr. Bauer helped me with all of them. I had extremely crooked teeth for many years and she helped me straighten them as well as replacing several crowns that had slipped or cracked. Fantastic experience: First visit was a success! Pleasant staff greeted me by name when I walked up to the counter. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. I was shown around the office and the layout explained. The x-ray technician, hygenist and dentist were all professional and personable. I was there for a routine cleaning and x-rays. Services were punctual and proficient. We discussed a number of additional services: multiple teethwhitening options, fluoride treatment, new cancer screening technology, and discussed options for a crown with ceramic overlay which occasionally gives me trouble. The dentist recommended a less invasive and less expensive option besides replacing the crown. There was no pressure to do any of the additional services but answered my questions and where appropriate provided additional printed information to review later. Very happy with my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist for years and this place made it super easy. My hygienist was Jenna and she was the sweetest and explained everything as she went. They also have a super affordable dental plan if you’re not using insurance, which is hundreds cheaper than the first place that quoted me for cleaning, x-rays, and examinations. They also have very flexible appointment scheduling, unlike a lot of dentist offices that book months out and do not accept new clients. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Fantastic experience: We as a family love Dr. Bauer’s office. Our kids always have a wonderful experience with Crystal and Jenna. My husband and I both love them as well! Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Cambridge Dental for about 5 years now. First off, I absolutely hated the dentist. I used to dread a week in advance that I had to visit the dentist and the entire process. However, since coming to Cambridge Dental I have really enjoyed my visits. My conversations, yes I said conversations, even though they are operating and cleaning my mouth is my absolute favorite! My ladies have always brightened my day with their genuine energy and effective cleanings! Recently, I underwent teeth whitening in house treatment. After years of smoking and a heavily addiction to coffee to settle my nerves and wake me up, my teeth were very strong but yellow. One of my biggest insecurities was how dark my teeth showed up in pictures. Cambridge Dentals entire team was so gracious, patient, and highly communicative of the process of undergoing this treatment. I can confidently say I smile my now beautiful brighter teeth in all of my photos now! Cheers to this fantastic team for always making my goals become my reality!

Negative experience: Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience there. It's really off putting to have someone remind you every time that you have an outstanding bill. I recommend asking specifically if your insurance is in-network before receiving services. When I received a large bill, I was told it was my responsibility for not using the exact phrasing when inquiring about their services. The receptionist explained that they don't disclose if an insurance carrier is in network unless specifically asked. I had only asked if they accept Dental Dental, one of the largest insurance providers. Due to the practice being small, they don’t accept many major insurances and require a copay even for basic and preventative services like cleanings, which has never been a concern for me at other offices. Services recommended and received there were very expensive (compared to other practices), unnecessary and created additional mouth issues and teeth pain for me. I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. Convenience doesn't necessarily mean its worth it.

Fantastic experience: Very fast and professional attention was given even though I wasn’t currently an established patient. I had a crown that worked loose and the individualized care made me comfortable as if I was the only patient. The crown was quickly cemented back in place and another crown adjusted that had been giving me issues. I’ve definitely found my long term dentist after a several year search

I started going to Cambridge Family Dental when I moved to the area in 2016, and didn't bother looking for a new practice when I later moved to Madison's West side - I knew I was at an excellent practice, and the drive was well worth that comfort. Crystal has been my long term hygenist over the years, and she always does a marvelous job. Her bedside manner is wonderful, she is as gentle as she can be, and very thorough - she is now the hygenist for my entire family. Dr. Bauer has done a few fillings for me, and fitted me for a night guard. The night guard fit well, and I have had no problems with any of the teeth shes filled. She is always pleasant and efficient during check ups, and her care for her patients shines through in the way her practice is run.
