Aspen Dental - East Knoxville, TN: Reviews
Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend. There was a communication issue between facilities and Brindy and Catherine were super friendly and had it sorted out in minutes. Then Rosa and Melissa( might have been Marissa i cant hear good) were super heros! They helped with my daughter and got me in and out in 10 minutes or less. They really know how to take the dread out of dental appointments.
Positive experience: My visit today was as good as could be expected. After all, I was getting a crown seated and a filling, OUCH! The crown seating was a bit uncomfortable with some pain but the filling went well and pain free. I would have preferred better suction or more opportunities to swallow during procedure. I was given the time to make sure there was nothing left to annoy my mouth and when there was, Dr Shea and his assistant made sure the high and rough spots were eliminated. The staff each took their time with my care and my comfort. All in all, a good visit with professional, friendly, caring staff.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional, courteous and kind.
Fantastic experience: Very professional staff clean environment. Everybody was very helpful from the time I walked in. The office manager Katherine answered all my questions Nikki the hygienist did a phenomenal job on my cleaning, Dr. Shea was terrific. I just give the whole staff 10 stars if I could.
Fantastic experience: Aspen Dental is the best place for any dental work you need, they also help with filling my insurance and making the best plan possible. The office staff is the best!
Fantastic experience: I've been going to Aspen Dental for a little over a year. They are always friendly and helpful. For years the thought of going to the dentist terrified me. I have had so many bad experiences. But they totally understood. The office manager even held my hand, during a difficult procedure. I will recommend all of my friends and family.
Negative experience: Haha!! "Walk in" policy is a joke because they don't ever have space for anyone then are rude about it. Even in an emergency.
Fantastic experience: So far so good I've still got aways to go they were very friendly and prompt im getting dentures so ill be putting another survey on here letting you know how everything goes .
Fantastic experience: If you need any kind of dental work this is the place you go. My hygienist Nikki, is amazing she treats me like family. She is really good. I used to get stressed going to the dentist. Since I started with her, I no longer have any stress.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly people. Clean and calm atmosphere. Very willing to work with you on what you can afford.
Positive experience: Monique made it right! She took the time that the previous person didn’t to really listen and fix the problem areas. Thank you so much , you’re an angel. Amending my previous review. The initial consultation was great and friendly but the actual work not so much. Hard re- line done yesterday and I told them over and over it was wrong and hurt. I got pretty much told try living with it over night and see if it settles. Next day in bad pain and they can’t see me to fix it.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Will definitely recommend to other people
Negative experience: I paid in half upfront with cash. Then they said I never paid and even sent it to a collection agency. Very disappointed with how they do business.
Fantastic experience: My experience with the team at Aspen Dental was fantastic. I needed an emergency dental procedure after breaking a tooth on my way back to Knoxville from Europe where my normal dentist is located. I reached out to Aspen and they got me in the very next morning, assessed the broken tooth, prepared a temporary crown and set a two week appointment for the permanent crown. However, to my surprise and joy the permanent crown came in early and they once again was able to get me in fixed up and out the very next day! So from broken tooth couldn’t chew anything to permanent crown installed in one week! Thanks and well done!
Fantastic experience: Best Dental & Dentist experience in my life. They went absolutely beyond the "assuming" part of my hesitant mind in going into a dentist office. Words can't describe how wonderful my experience with them went & is still continuing. Such an amazing place, full of amazing none judgemental Dentist's & staff members. Please go & find out for yourself. You'll be overwhelmed with joy by the time you walk out the doors.
Fantastic experience: Very professional. Made me feel comfortable. Went out of their way to be helpful. Did an excellent job on my dentures. I will highly recommend them.
Fantastic experience: My dentist visit today was the best I've had in years. No pain. A great report. Nicky, my specialist is the best. She is a professional My dentist who did extensive work on me 6 months ago ensured his work is settled in as planned. I'm not reluctant to make dentist appointments anymore
Fantastic experience: Was able to get me in on the day I called. They were able to analyze the problem and create a solution. I was in and out in about an hour. Great customer service and the staff was amazing.
Negative experience: Had a partial made there, it never fit right ,I can't wear it. I wish now I hadn't had purchased the most expensive one They had.. Live and learn ...fancy Expensive places are not always the best..
Fantastic experience: Aspen was an amazing dentist!, Very nice workers! My teeth feel so much better! Go to Aspen!
Fantastic experience: Great, friendly, and very efficient in every aspect.
Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly took into consideration everything that I had to say I'm looking forward to going back
Negative experience: Scheduled and they never said cleaning was not part of the checkup. Said in the appt. And they called 4x for insurance, still did not happy e the record when arrived. That's 5x asking for the same Info and not clearly and pressuring me to accommodate them when they did not state the clear expectations ahead of time. Manipulative
Positive experience: Was a cleaning that lead to a reseating of a crown. Job well done.
Fantastic experience: Hello. I came to Aspen Dental today after calling 4 or 5 other dental offices as I needed to be looked at ASAP,. Aspen was the only one to see me today. Otherwise, I wouldnt be seen until 11/20.. its a very good thing I was seen today, they took some Xrays, then discovered an abscess on the tooth root of one
Positive experience: Everything was very positive. Helpful, kind staff. Only downside was the length of time it took to get an appointment. Doctor and staff were great!
Fantastic experience: Had a chipped tooth, no nerve exposed just sharp edge. Got in within a couple days and they fixed it that day.
Fantastic experience: If a dental experience can be great this one was. The assistant that took me back was absolutely amazing. She understood my anxiety and helped walk me through it. Came to check on me more than once. The dentist was very understanding and informative he explained everything that has to be done and wasn't in a hurry to run out of the room, he gave me time to ask any questions and address any concerns that I had.
Positive experience: The doctor was not friendly at all. I had to ask him who he was. His clothes were wrinkled like he just got out of the bed. I waited at the pharmacy for almost an hour for them to call in my prescription. And then 2 hours later they called in the pain medication.
Negative experience: Their dental plan is very expensive. Is not affordable even with insurance.
Fantastic experience: Every one was really nice and everything from the sign up to check in went smoothly. Got me in and out in a timely manner and my extractions went great. Never felt no pain and the.day.after so far still no pain. I was very impressed. I appreciate everything. Will need.dentures so after everything is healed I look forward to getting that taken care of after the first of the year. Thanks to everyone at Knoxville, TN (Millertown location).
Fantastic experience: Staff was extremely professional and answered all questions directly. I would highly recommend them
Fantastic experience: My First Visit and I Was Pleasantly Surprised and Well Informed of Options Available For My Financial Situation, Very Friendly Staff and Cheerful Atmosphere Considering It's a Dental Office Looking Forward to Getting Procedure Done and Somewhat Optimistic About th Outcome
Fantastic experience: It was great the staff there was awesome i don't have any complaints at all
Fantastic experience: Went to Aspen Dental and they helped me with some of my dentures problems and due to my insurance not being ready till November, I will come back then to fix the rest of my dentures problems. Thank you Aspen Dental for getting to me so quickly and for your kindness and your professionalism! I “I’ll be back as soon as possible (the first week in February). See you soon!
Fantastic experience: Very nice and everyone was very kind and knowledgeable about their job.l would recommend this dentist office to all my friends and family..
Fantastic experience: Was greeted when walking in, treated with kindness and my problem was professionally addressed and in the process of being taken care of.
Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office was so nice. The exam was quick and they made sure to ask me if I had any questions. They made sure to give me everything I need to know.
Fantastic experience: Best experience I've ever had with my dental care. A tooth fell out of my denture that Aspen did not make. I walked in and was greeted with kindness and assured me that they could match my color tooth replacement. Totally satisfied. Best fitting partial also.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was very helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone needing dental work done.
Fantastic experience: My experience here was excellent. I was treated with kindness and I will definitely recommend coming here for your dental work.
Fantastic experience: The Dentist and his helpers were very considerate and caring for me. I would recommend them to anyone. Very satisfied.
Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety (especially with dentist). Aspen Dental handles you with extreme kindness, care and treat you so well from the time you walk through the door to the time you sit down to finalize your plan.
Fantastic experience: Very professional and very pleasant so far I have been very pleased with Aspen dental and I am very pleased with them.
Positive experience: The lady up front was nice, I’m not sure where the communication break down was . I ask to go back with my husband after the X-rays and exam , because I was told up front no one could go back with him . I didn’t see him again until he came out to lobby and said he was ready to go! I Didn’t have the opportunity to ask any questions .
Fantastic experience: Very friendly people. And they do an excellent job. Feels like you’re at home and have known each other for a long time.
Fantastic experience: Very clean and professional practice. No complaints about my treatment here.
Fantastic experience: Staff was very professional and kind. Services were prompt and on time. Have scheduled some implants to be done by them and feel good about it after meeting the staff today
Fantastic experience: Friendly and very attentive to my needs. I'm a new patient so they made me feel welcomed.
Negative experience: This place is a joke. My husband had two teeth removed last week, they never showed him his X-ray which I had to pay for out of pocket. He has dental insurance. He is in so much pain right now. I got him an appointment for this morning but when we got there they said they did not have anything till next Tuesday. They said appointments made online are for new patients. They would not even try and fit him in today nor call the other office to see if they could fit him in, now we have to find another dentist ( which I have ) but I tell you what, I would not take my dog to this place. !!!!
Fantastic experience: The staff is extremely professional, and couteous, they explained all my options. The course for treatment was spot on! The procedure went smooth and the doctor and her dental assistant kept me up to date the entire time. I highly recommend Aspen Dental- East Knoxville.
Negative experience: The pricing is outrageous some people cant afford 4,000 dollars in work when they can barely afford gas the staff was wonderful just the prices crazy
Negative experience: Went in for a cleaning and they told me it would cost $20,000 to fix my teeth. These people are a rip off. Do NOT go there!
Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice and when I had the consult, they were very thorough in explaining the different options and price tiers for my new dentures! When the doctor came in, I didn't feel anxious or anything. I usually do. I honestly wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
Fantastic experience: Loved them. They told me everything up front and we made a plan together. Would recommend this location to anyone.
Negative experience: I would give no stars if I could! They are over priced and did not do a good job. My temp crown fell out in 6 hours and I had to wait all weekend for an appointment to have it replaced. Then 8 months later I get a bill from a collection agency for an outstanding balance that I was never called or billed for. HORRIBLE!! Go anywhere else!!
Fantastic experience: My experience was great! The staff is very friendly and polite. The hygienist was skilled and gentle. Dr. Stump was very knowledgeable and friendly. My exam was fantastic! Look ma no cavities !!! I would recommend this office and Dr Stump to everyone in the Knoxville area!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic experience: The care that Aspen Dental offered and executed was great and right to the point. However the Insurance plan - Humana - made them do X-rays on one day, provide and excuse for not doing the filling that too vigorous cleaning made loose (it has happened before with other dentist) right then (such as they need to consult dental procedure with the medical team in the office)and no time today. I had to return a second time for the filling to be replaced and that dentist was efficient and complete.
Fantastic experience: My daughter is autistic. I had surgery and couldn't take her but they allowed my sister to bring her and stay with her throughout. The entire staff were very good with her and I really appreciate their care and patience with my daughter and highly recommend Aspen Dental
Fantastic experience: 3/2025 - So far so good! Went to do a consultation for impacted wisdom teeth, they are super friendly, Monique (not sure if I spelled that correct) did my X-rays and she is perfect and clearly loves her job, has a great attitude towards patients, the woman I originally spoke with (Lisa I believe) helped with my insurance and answered all my questions, super nice! they all explained everything really well, loved the whole place!! Update: 6/2025 - went back to get wisdom teeth removed, got 4 fillings, and a cleaning!!! 100% BEST people ever
Fantastic experience: I am an older patient…in my 50’s. I loved the technology that Aspen Dental utilized during my visit. I truly appreciate the thorough exam I received.
Positive experience: Another dentist told my mom she had too much bone loss for new dentures & he refused to even try. Aspen seems positive they can make new ones that are more comfortable than the old ones. 6 months after delivery, there have been a few issues with the new ones but Aspwn staff has been GREAT about adjustments. So far the staff has been SUPER PATIENT & FRIENDLY! ♥️
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with everyone I came in contact with. They were kind, understanding and compassionate. They handeled my dental anxiety well and made sure to explain everything in a clear way while also being non judgemental.
Fantastic experience: They treated me withe the best care you could ask..explained everything till I understood what my best treatment would be
Fantastic experience: They were wonderful with me. I missed a couple of apps and they still were so gracious and were very helpful in making my smile look as great as it can be.
Fantastic experience: The staff is very nice and professional. I got explanations on things that I need to understand to make the decisions about my teeth I need to make. I learned quite a bit during this visit and that is not something I can say about any other visit to a dentist I have been to.
Fantastic experience: GOOD BYE ELITE SMILES! Hello Aspen Dental. The team at Aspen Dental was amazing. My onboarding took only 10 mins. Took x-rays and was seen by the tech, dentist and Dental hygienist within 15 mins. The team assessed my needs, did a thorough exam and was able to knock out my teeth cleaning all in one visit. I can't say enough about how great the team is. Can't wait for my next visit.
Positive experience: Tori was gentle and great doing my X-rays, Dr Shae was great as well. Brittany was helpful and reassuring during my procedure. All in all after years of horrible experiences with other dentists, this was great and I didn’t feel judged. Thank you!!
Negative experience: I am honestly disappointed. Had my first appointment with Aspen yesterday. They were very efficient in most areas of my visit. My appointment was for a cleaning, no one had informed me of the procedures they had set forth for any new patient visit. They took numerous x-rays then the Dentist came in and looked at my teeth. After that I was taken to the business office to talk about my treatment plan. I was then informed that it was my option to get fluoride treatment after my cleaning. I said sure. So I went ahead and paid in full for my fluoride treatment. After that was paid I was then informed that my cleaning appointment would not be available at this appointment. I was shocked that no one had mentioned that to me before my visit and had paid anything. So, I have to go back at another time to get my cleaning done. I wished someone would have informed me of this before my appointment and before I had paid anything. The staff and the Dr were very nice, friendly and accommodating. I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned in two weeks.
Negative experience: This place is ridiculous.. Now if your new and your first visit they will take you. If you are already a client it will take you 15 to 30 days to get an emergency appointment. Non clients can make appointment on line and have a date a day or 2 out.. Existing clients CANNOT make appointment on line and when call get appointment for an extreme emergency for 15 days out...OR LONGER. No thanks ill go to a more private practice dental clinic that cares about their clients needs they already have instead of increasing clientele they can't care for properly. Bye bye aspen On to a dentist that cares ..call someone else and get in the very next day., not 15 days later Wow. Improvement already.
Fantastic experience: First visit at Aspen Dental on Millertown Pike. Was greeted with a smile, they had all my information ready for me to fill out. Only had to wait a short time before being taken back for my appointment, everything was explained as they did it and any questions answered so I understood the process. Great overall experience. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and helpful. Went in no appointment, had upper denture and tooth fell out. They worked me in and I was out in an hour and a half. Highly recommend them.
Negative experience: Set an appointment as a new patient over the phone. They were able to see me two weeks after I called, which was reasonable. They have a system in place where you have to confirm your appointments. They sent me a text, multiple ones as a reminder to confirm, reschedule or cancel. I confirmed. Got there the day of my appointment today April 23 for 8:30. When I arrived inside the front desk lady was nice she asked for my name, couldn’t find me asked for my DOB, then proceeded to tell me they cancelled my appointment bc I didn’t answer there phone call to confirm when I already confirmed via text. She went a checked with doctor came back and told me I could still have a seat, I told her it was a little condescending to have the text option in place she said it’s only like that for people who aren’t patients just yet. She informed the doctor is finishing a procedure and then can see me; within 3 mins she said no you can’t be seen today. Further explained there next new availability would be May 1st.
Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and I always feel confident in the treatment/care I get! Nikki was so great with my little one getting her teeth cleaned for the first time!
Negative experience: Around a year ago my husband experienced a dental emergency, and due to the urgency of the situation, Aspen Dental was the only clinic we could find with an immediate opening. Although the location was out of the way and required a long drive, we had no other viable options. While he was in the appointment, I waited in the lobby instead of accompanying him to the back, something I deeply regret. During that time, Aspen Dental enrolled him in a credit card program without his full understanding or informed consent. They then charged thousands of dollars to this account, without performing any actual dental work. I want to emphasize: thousands of dollars were charged for procedures that were never completed. We are both disabled and live on a very limited income, so this has had a severe and lasting impact on our lives over the past year. My husband is autistic and also has ADHD, conditions that were clearly disclosed in their intake paperwork. Due to his disability, he did not comprehend that he was being signed up for a credit card, nor did he understand that thousands of dollars would be charged to it for work on just one tooth, since they had discussed a plan for the entire mouth, he assumed the total was for work to be done over the next few years and charged as it was completed, but this wasn’t the case. To put it in perspective: they were preparing to perform a root canal, a procedure they ultimately could not even carry out, and yet charged over $8,000 in advance (insurance brought it down to around $4,000 that was actually charged to the card). That amount didn’t even include the actual root canal. The second dentist they referred us to quoted almost $5,000 in addition to Aspen’s charges, just to complete the root canal. Aspen’s part? A simple cleaning and one filling post-root canal. How does a single filling and cleaning cost more than the cost of the actual root canal? After reviewing alternatives, we found that we could have had the tooth extracted and replaced with a permanent implant for less than what Aspen was charging just for the cleaning and one filling. Ultimately, we chose extraction because we couldn’t risk losing our housing. The tooth extraction cost approximately $120. In contrast, Aspen’s plan combined with the actual root canal would have cost over $12,000 total, which would have made our out of pocket WITH INSURANCE still over $8,000 for both because the dentist they said we had to go to for the actual root canal, didn't take our insurance and required the entire cost up front. Please remember, this is all just for that one tooth. A. SINGLE. TOOTH. To make matters worse, the dentist who performed the extraction was alarmed by our story and warned us that Aspen Dental has a reputation for this exact kind of deceptive behavior. According to him, they routinely present their financing as a “payment plan” without ever mentioning it is a credit card. Then, they charge the full cost of procedures immediately, even before any work is done, and often cannot even perform the procedure themselves, and then charge, double the ADA recommended prices for procedures. According to the ADA website the cost should fall between $700 and $2,000 for the COMPLETE PROCEDURE depending on the tooth's location and the state it's being completed in, while the actual average cost not taking into account of tooth location should be between $470 and $1,500 This is a predatory and unethical practice. We were taken advantage of during a vulnerable moment, and the financial and emotional toll has been devastating. I strongly caution others against using Aspen Dental under any circumstances, especially in emergencies. This kind of business model is not just misleading, it’s harmful. Please check with the ADA before you go and see what the average cost should be for the procedure you need to get done and don't sign anything until you've read every single word.
Fantastic experience: Everybody was really nice and they told me to step by step while they were going to do and I love the dentist that did my extraction for my tooth I would really recommend him and I will be going back there again
Fantastic experience: great experience. everyone was nice and thorough. Dr Shea was very easy to talk with and took time to answer my questions.
Negative experience: Had to wait an hour to get in after arriving early then 45 mins late ast my appointment time. Expected 3 implants today after waiting over 6 months from initial date of extractions. Rescheduled again. Got my X-rays done 3 times before they got it right. Very disappointed today.
Fantastic experience: All was well they were very nice and professional and took time to explain everything and on my dental plan but sadly I can't afford it at this time
Fantastic experience: I went in with an abscess tooth in terrible pain. I’d already seen my other dentist, endodonist, and was scheduled to get oral surgery, but then I got the flu and had to delay oral surgery. I couldn’t wait any longer. I had to get this tooth out. Aspen worked me in and alleviated my pain. I was so grateful.
Fantastic experience: I was from out of town and they treated me like had been going to them for years. When I move to TN I can say they will be my first doctors office I will confirm. Everyone is came in contact with was very nice.
Negative experience: They are definitely overcharging. I have no issues with sensitivity or decay in my teeth, yet they added an extra charge to my insurance after a routine cleaning. On top of that, their rates for a simple dental cleaning are extremely high. Proceed with caution if you choose this dental office.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was extremely nice! I was very impressed with how comfortable it was to be a new patient at the dentist! Every phase of the visit was wonderful!
Negative experience: I’m giving a two because the woman that did my X-rays, etc was very nice and the doctors were to the point. However , I went in for a broken tooth/lost filling consult and for pain, - I know I have some extensive work to be done so that wasn’t really a surprise but I was there for three hours, most of which was spent waiting and at the “treatment/payment desk” where I was told I needed $14,000 worth of work done . Obviously this was shocking and although they helped to bring it down as a “plan” , I felt like I was being rushed into booking extra appointments. It was very overwhelming and I really didn’t have time to process everything. But what really did it for me was after all of that, no one guided me on what I could do for the pain in that moment . I was told by the hygienist that there was inflammation but given no remedy to help with it. I called to ask what would be recommended for the pain and discomfort in the meantime and instead of the receptionist asking me what level of pain I was in , who I was, etc she gave me a general “well they usually say rotate between Tylenol and Advil” … so you can hand me a$14,000 treatment plan but brush off my concerns of pain that are happening in the moment ? I’m not asking for drugs - I don’t even like to take medicine but most would at least prescribe an antibiotic to help with inflammation. At that point I felt like a money ticket and I’m almost positive I will be cancelling my future appointments.
Negative experience: We called ahead and told them we were on our way. We got in the parking lot by there 10 minute period and they would not take my mom for her appointment because she walked in the door at 10:41am. ONE freaking minute!!!!! If I could giver zero freaking stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous. There were 2 people in the dang lobby.
Negative experience: I went there to discuss possible dentures and 15 extraction. I was quoted ten thousand dollars for the set. With insurance almost $5000 each. I went else where and having to pay $0 after insurance. I have talked with multiple people and found they each had similar experiences like mine. Make sure to get a 2nd opinion if you go here unless money just doesn't matter!
Fantastic experience: Came in for the first time and was greeted with a warm reception. All the staff from the ladies at the desk to the techs in the back are always a joy to deal with. If I could give more stars I would. Most enjoyable experience I've ever had when going to a dentist
Fantastic experience: The staff at Aspen Dental were fantastic. They were very friendly and helpful in addressing my needs and concerns. I plan on having them take care of all my dental issues.
Negative experience: I was told to comeback if needed , next day I returned because the partial dentures caused my gums to bleed, but the front desk said that there was no room to see me, I asked if I can wait for I live very far away, she said no. I was made to wait until next week and missing a day of work. I m very disappointed…
Fantastic experience: I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service and the quality people at Aspen dental. I showed up in excruciating pain, and they did what they had to do to get the job done. I am grateful, and so thankful for the wonderful people the East Knoxville location has on staff. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: They did a very thorough assessment of my need for dental interventions and help me come up with a plan I can afford over the next year. They were friendly and answered all my questions.
Fantastic experience: I was nervous, the girls made it a pleasant experience, they were so attentive explaining everything that was being done. Apologize to me about the discomfort of some of the ex-rays. Usually l am uncomfortable at the dentist, so it was strange to me to not be afraid. Was asked what l wanted done, gave me several options to choose from. Went over my insurance with me and made the payments affordable. Definitely 5 stars.
Positive experience: Everyone was very nice, really there to help me with my needs and my priorities. My major problem is if you have an appt at 1:30, which is when they return from lunch, why I would have to wait for 20 minute 1:50 to begin my appt? It’s frustrating.
Positive experience: I went to Aspen dental to get a full set of dentures. They were fantastic everyone that worked there was very nice and polite. It took the time to listen to what you had to say. I only had one issue and that was billing because for some reason my insurance didn't cover the X-ray price cost. They said they couldn't rebuild so I tried to contact them myself to straighten it out. 4 months later I went back to Aspen dental to pay for the X-ray they told me that insurance already paid it. They never contacted me they just kept sending me a bill. I made my appointment and my smile is wonderful. I'm very happy with Aspen dental.
Fantastic experience: I have never had such a wonderful experience in my entire life with a dentist and/or hygienist(s) as Aspen! Such politeness, attention and care for my comfort I've never experienced in any dental office. Friendly people as in this office are extremely rare and very much appreciated. They have given me confidence I haven't had in the years I've been suffering with the wrong dentures, losing a lot of weight due to horribly fitting dentures. So many COMFORTABLE procedures that were never even attempted by the first dentist! Who looks forward to going to the dentist..at Aspen, I do! Returned 2 years later today for replacement or relining. I found that I definitely need new dentures thanks to Dr. Shea illustrating clearly the problem with the present ones. I was also given detailed information about the options for new ones by the checkout girl. Great, friendly staff and service. Why did I ever go anywhere else??? I'm excited for the new dentures.
Negative experience: 2964 Miller Place Way Office - I went in on July 10, 2024 because of a tooth that broke lose. I have dental insurance that is copay not percentage based & was told my copay was $330. Later found out it should have been $200! Now I can't get ahold of billing to get the extra $130 refunded! Also, after the fact, I called them because I was in extreme pain. Their response was "wait 2 more weeks, it needs time to heal" - turned out my jaw was out of socket & pressing on my ear drum/ear canal!
Fantastic experience: My appointment for having a tooth removed went as well as could be expected… They were ready for me as soon as I arrived. Dr. Moreno explained everything in detail, made sure I was good and numb and had the tooth out in only a few minutes and without any pain. She also emailed the prescription for meds and they were ready upon my arrival. I recently retired from the Army and have been very impressed with all of my dental care here!
Positive experience: This location of Aspen Dental was very professional and thorough with the comprehensive Exam. I have a broken tooth that needed treatment. They outlined the treatment plan & scheduled my crown preparation. The only problem was the waiting time for my return visit. I was hoping for a faster appointment.
Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with everyone here. Dr. shea and staff were great. My husband had to get an extraction while on vacation, he has bad dental anxiety and they helped him out and made him feel comfortable. Thank you!!
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with everyone today! The front desk ladies were super nice. Wendy was so nice and made the X-rays fun. The hygienist and dentist were very thorough and informative. The consultant was super nice and helpful. Glad to be a new patient.
