Negative experience: I was referred here by the VA. Trying to get an appointment is like pulling nails. They don't communicate well. I scheduled an appointment only to have it canceled because they don't have providers.

Negative experience: This place is very disappointing. For the longest time they've been short a hygienist and they rescheduled my follow-up cleaning 8 months instead of six months. 2 months after my last cleaning. I just received a text saying that I owe them $130 for a routine cleaning which is 100% covered by my insurance. I come to find out that they no longer are preferred on the insurance that I was preferred on the previous cleaning and they had not bothered to say anything. This place puts their own greed over the care of their patients. They can't keep enough hygienist employed and they have unethical business practices knowing that their insurance that they deal with has changed but they don't think enough to inform the patient until after care is given.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my visits to Northside Dental. Dr Neff and her staff are very thorough and pleasant! The Dental Hygienist does a pain free gentle cleaning! They make it an easy and enjoyable experience! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Initially, I had a cancellation because the dentist was ill. I was scheduled a week later. Two days later they called And stated they had a cancellation, would I like to have it. The front staff, The dental assistant and the dentist were very thorough. My previous dentist, Dr. Compton, made the referral when he decided to retire. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in everyone was very friendly. The two ladies at the front were the best in getting me an answer and solution to a question I had. My hygienist did a awesome job with my cleaning! I look forward to going back for my next cleaning.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had a filling done by Dr. Neff and it fell out within a year then was gaslit into being told it was my fault. They replaced it at no charge and felt loose a week later.. insane. Decided to go to another dentist and they could immediately see in my Xray that it wasn't done properly and fell out during the cleaning. Absurd!! I'm now having to pay for the same filling TWICE within a year and a half! Would not recommend at all !

The hygienist is the best anywhere. She does a thorough clean and takes her time. Even checkout the staff are excellent.

Fantastic experience: Dr Neff and the techs are amazing. I switched to them after my previous dentist left network. My daughter referred me to Dr Neff, still being in the middle of having three major work done after an accident. Dr Neff finished the work started, and barely felt her work. She was so gentle and caring! Techs were great also. Though I had a billing issue, Dr Neff stepped in herself and solved the issue. I went again today for the 4th visit in 3 months, and they treat you as your 1st, with respect and absolute care! Though I was frustrated with the billing issue previously, that was taken care of, I walked out today reassured it’s the best dentist’s office I’ve been to. Totally recommend Dr Neff and her techs!

Negative experience: Do not book here. They will schedule you for an exam and a cleaning, and they will cancel the cleaning without letting you know. This happened to my husband and me two separate times, even after confirming multiple times that we were booked for the exam AND the cleaning. They will blame the nationwide shortage of hygienists. We will not be going back.

Negative experience: My wife and I have seen this dentist for two years and have now stopped. They demand payment months in advance of services. This is not normal for dentists. They send repeated and aggressive text messages threatening fines if you cancel your appointment too late etc. Then they went and canceled my appointment twelve hours before it was scheduled and were quite rude and refused when I politely asked for a discount. A bit of a double standard. The dentist is new as I understand it and both my wife and I have serious concerns about quality of work. Both of us had fillings done there that were quite painful for months afterwards and didn't feel flush, broke dental floss etc. I switched to a new dentist who did a filling for me last week and the experience could not have been more different. Two stars is because the staff and hygienists were all amazing.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Northside Dental. I worked with Courtney who went above and beyond on my cleaning. There is honestly a ton of work I need to be accountable for with my teeth, and it was a judgment free zone geared towards finding solutions that work best for me. In saying this, it was just as much as a consultation as it was a cleaning. She spent much longer on my teeth than I was accustomed to because she cared about the small details, and even had the primary dentist come in and check on spots that she was worried about. She gave me advice and in depth training on brushing and flossing techniques, and provided me answers for any questions that I had. This experience was exactly what I needed to be put back on track with my smile, and I am so grateful. Courtney is a great member of this team, and represents the office at the highest degree of service!

Negative experience: I called twice, over a week in advance to reschedule my dental appointment, and both times was told the appointment was cancelled, but they didn’t have any more openings through the balance of 2024, and someone would call me to reschedule. I get texts, that only ask me to confirm my appointment, but don’t give me an option to cancel or reschedule. Even after these efforts, north side dental had the audacity to send me a text stating I had an outstanding balance for a missed appointment. This is ridiculous! Find a place that is about customer service, not selfish business practices. I get it, your time is valuable, and so is mine. Which is why I tried to cancel multiple times! And note, I rarely write reviews. But, I rarely experience something so absurd from a place that portrays themselves as professional.

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly, mindful, thorough. They send reminders via text so your don’t miss an appointment. There is usually no wait times so you can get in and out quickly!

Positive experience: Unusual, for me, experience. This was my first experience here due to my previous dentist closing his practice. First time I've been flat on my back at the dentist for any, much less most of, the work. The water squirty thing regularly splashed up onto my face. The cleaning tool drug my own saliva up across my eye. When the doctor got there for the exam, that was also on my back so every time she looked away from my mouth her head lamp flashed across my eye. There's more, but that's enough of a rant

Negative experience: I called around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday to verify in-network status with my plan. Clarissa answered the phone and took my information. She placed me on hold for about 5 minutes and then told me that there were issues with her system, so she would call back. I never received a return call. I called again 2 days later to inquire. Clarissa answered the phone again. I told her that I was expecting a call and never received one. Without acknowledging/apologizing, she began to ask for all of my information again. I asked her if she recalls the first phone call. She replied "yes", then placed me on hold. I was on hold for a few minutes, then she returned, informing me that there were delays with the system. She then told me that they are in network and offered to schedule. I replied to Clarissa by saying that I was looking forward to scheduling with this office, but this first impression isn't sitting well with me, as I understand mistakes do occur, but there was no apology for not calling me back. Her reply- "Well, it's up to you if you want to schedule the appointment." Needless to say, I declined. I intended to schedule for both my husband and myself, but once I was met with Clarissa's indifferent attitude, that immediately changed my mind. Being the one to have initial encounters with prospective patients, you are the face of the practice. You are representing the ENTIRE practice, not just yourself and how you may personally feel. Moving forward, if you feel flustered (which can happen), understand that you shouldn't project that onto others. Just take a deep breath prior to answering the phone, and know that it will be okay!

Positive experience: Booked 7 am expecting quick in and out. Alas, sat idle for 10 minutes. Prior, the text bot sends me several reminders AFTER I replied C to confirm. It reminded me, TWICE, that I would be penalized 25 dollars if I failed to show up. No, I did not previously miss an appt. Sheesh.

Positive experience: It was okay. Lady that cleaned my teeth knew my daughter. Her brother was in my daughters class. First she went to sit on stool the stool flipped and she fell against my arm & then the floor. She was fine. Talked the whole time. Could not understand about half of it. Not very professional. I was relieved when she said she was only there for today!!!
