Fantastic experience: Dr. Dreher is, without question, one of the most knowledgeable and professional dentists I've ever been to. What sets him apart isn't just the quality of his work. It's the way he approaches dentistry. He uses modern, biologically minded techniques like ceramic fillings and ozone therapy, but what I appreciate most is that if you show even the slightest curiosity about what's happening, he'll happily explain everything in remarkable detail. As someone with a scientific background and an endlessly curious mind, I love understanding how things work. Dr. Dreher has spent more time educating me about my own dental health than any dentist I've ever seen. He never makes me feel rushed, and I always leave feeling like I understand not only what we did, but why. What really earned my trust, though, was his commitment to saving my tooth. I had a deep cavity in one of my back molars, and I'm convinced many dentists would have recommended a root canal without a second thought. Instead, Dr. Dreher took the time and extra effort to preserve the vitality of the tooth and give the nerve an opportunity to heal naturally. That level of skill, patience, and integrity is becoming increasingly rare. He consistently chooses the approach that's best for the patient, even when it requires more time and effort on his part. That's exactly the kind of dentist I want in my corner, and I recommend him without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a mandibular advancement device made to help me stop snoring and also to assist in alleviating my sleep apnea. I can only say that my experience in this office has been a completely positive experience starting with a comprehensive explanation of the purpose of this devise, how it is made, the measuring and molds necessary for the design and production of my device.All members of the team that worked together to help me reach my goals were thorough, knowledgable, caring and so professional . I felt very comfortable and confident in this office. Take it from the daughter ,wife and sister of a family of dentists …this is the place to go if you want to “rest easy” at night. Kudos to Dr. Dreher and his entire staff!

Fantastic experience: Again, I can’t say enough positives about my dental experience today. Was having some pain around a tooth. They for me in today. He took time to look at it, take different bites, x-rays, and smoothed out a tooth/filling all in a relaxed atmosphere looking out into the woods! Then it came time to check out and there was no charge! Unbelievable!!! Thank you Dr. Dreher!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Dreher, a bilological dentist, for issues that my conventional dentist kept missing. After i had a cone beam done in his office, it revealed some issues that need to be addressed. Dr Dreher developed a treatment plan for me, and today I had the first treatment. His staff are very helpful and polite, and Dr Dreher is very sensitive to patient's comfort. Dr gave me a follow-up call after hours tonight, making sure I was doing well. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Negative experience: Did you know that one of the biggest reasons people avoid the dentist’s office is fear of judgment? A close second is the amount of money paid for just one visit. Unfortunately, both of those things happened to me the last time I visited this office. As I was sitting in the chair for my visit, I happened to glance up at the mirror where the dentist, Dr. Dreher, was standing with his dental assistant. I watched as both of them looked at each other and started giving each other looks behind my back. It’s like neither of them had ever been in that room before because, if they had been, they might have noticed the mirrors, right? Perhaps then they would have applied simple professionalism to the appointment instead of making someone feel bad when they were simply trying to do better for their health. On top of that absolute nonsense, the amount of money they charged was asinine. Looking at the breakdown of the cost, they charged hundreds of dollars simply for the dentist to come in and spend five minutes looking at my teeth, two minutes making unprofessional, judgmental looks to his dental assistant behind my back, and zero minutes actually providing real knowledge that I couldn’t find through a Google search. As a rotten cherry on top of this already bitter-tasting sundae, when I reached out to ask them to forward my dental records to another dental office—because there was no way on God’s green earth that I was ever going back to them—they never did. And one additional rotten cherry on top: they have no problem incessantly texting your phone with misspelled messages to remind you about appointments, yet you have to call the office to cancel. So you can’t simply respond to one of the hundred text messages you receive from them letting them know you’re unable to make the appointment. No no no, you have to take time out of your workday to call them and cancel instead of simply replying by text to let them know you can’t attend. And in those misspelled text messages, they love to warn/threaten you that you may be charged a fee if you don’t call the office to cancel. If this is what “quality” looks like in the Ballston Spa area, then clearly my definition differs from theirs.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Dr. Dreher for a few years at least now, and have no complaints with the practice. Staff are kinds, friendly, and attentive. The only downside is insurance doesn't typically cover the procedures, but overall, it seems to pay itself off with preventative care, and advice they give. Happy to recommend them :)

Fantastic experience: I previously had gone to a dentist (my whole life) that was not enjoyable. Numbing was the worst and all around caused me a lot of anxiety- this was a complete 360°!! 10/10 experience. Office staff is so sweet and feels like a family environment. I voiced my concerns and they were so kind….. When I tell you I didn’t feel the Novacaine shot, I’m not joking!! Thankful we swapped!! The Dr calls you at 8pm after you’ve had work done to ask if you’re ok!! I won’t be dreading anymore dentist appointments!

I usually feel some anxiety with dental visits, but this was completely different. Dr. Dreher was incredibly gentle, and the procedure was truly painless—something I didn’t think was possible! He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. The level of care, professionalism, and kindness I experienced today was outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Dreher to anyone looking for a dentist who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients’ comfort.

Positive experience: Sixty -five dollars for the initial visit, which is not bad, but then they dance around trying to hard sell you until you have to ask them twice what the cost is. Almost $600 for the sleep study and then another $4K for a little piece of plastic is a bit much.

Fantastic experience: Never before has it been such a pleasure to go to the dentist! Everyone takes their time and it is easy to tell that they are happy to work there. Very gentle and considerate, never am I uncomfortable or nervous about my procedures. The office is very calming and no-one is in a rush to get things done and you out. They answer all your questions, help with everything and today, I had my tooth extracted and it wasn't painful, nor uncomfortable. It was done in such a gentle, caring manner.

Positive experience: As far as the dental work aspect they and Dr Dreher were wonderful. To say I have dental anxiety is putting it lightly and everyone at the office were amazing I can not speak higher of how well the hygienist were were with me. I have dental insurance and for my initial visit I paid out of pocket and was told it was going to be submitted to my insurance for reimbursement this didn't happen and I had to follow up with the insurance company to find this out and then call the office to have them submit my claim. My next appointment right before the holiday season was a large amount again to be paid out of pocket. I made sure to double check with the receptionist that my claim would be submitted so I could get something back from my insurance knowing full well it would not be the whole amount. I waited 3 weeks no check so I again followed up with my insurance and yet again NO claim was filed. So now I'm going to have to try and get someone on the phone with the office and I'm assuming since it's new years eve no one is there to file my claim. This is beyond frustrating as again this was a big chunk of money I know will not fully be reimbursed but SHOULD have been submitted in a timely manner.

Fantastic experience: I had my first session with an infrared sauna today. I chose the detox setting and left feeling like my body was energized yet at the same time relaxed. Fantastic experience: I have been here three times now and just brought my daughter for first time today. I am always reluctant to review in general, but especially too quickly from a first time. At this point I feel I can safely say they are AMAZING! They are warm and friendly. Not once have they left me feeling judged or less than. Not only with their mannerisms, but they are the most professional office I have ever been to. Perhaps if this was my prior experiences, I wouldn’t have gone so long between visits. They have the neatest tactics to ease any anxieties and eliminate any unnecessary pain… bonus!! They are informative and answer any questions I’ve asked with the most sincere responses. I have not only avoided dentists because I couldn’t find a holistic option that felt right, but because of some very ugly experiences. Negative experience: Came here In January for a routine cleaning. I stated I had terrible gum recession around my crowns and other teeth. The dentist (not Dr. Dreher), told me it looked like I was over due for a cleaning and that was it and I should be fine if I stay up with cleanings. Over the next few months I watched my gums get worse. I felt like I wasn’t heard by the dentist I had previously seen. He simply seemed like he didn’t care. Things were getting so bad following that appointment that I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Dreher. The appointment took 15 minutes for him to tell me I have a systemic issue. THEY CHARGED ME $150 for that. I should have never been charged for their employees incompetence at my last cleaning appointment who simply didn’t care. As things progress to get worse with my gums, I contacted them to have the bacteria in my mouth examined which should have happened in April when I had my 15 minute $150 consult. I tried contacted them on numerous occasions, but no one would ever answer. I left messages and played phone tag for over a week. I FINALLY reached someone. As I talked to the “office manager” she tried to sell me a sleep study and their Naturopath in the office who doesn’t return calls either. I explained I had run blood work and was seeing a functional MD which has costed A LOT to possibly figure out a systemic issue.….At the end of the conversation after asking for the bacteria test she said I’d have everything set to run for my next upcoming cleaning appointment. I had a feeling this wasn’t going to happen based on how this place has been operating. I called to confirm the day prior to make sure I’d have the bacteria studied in my mouth and Amanda told me the machine was down. I said I don’t know if I want to drive 45 minutes to the appointment if it’s down. I said I may cancel now and she said she’s going to charge me it’s less than 24 hours notice. I laughed and said no your not. I’m calling to confirm something with you. It should be the other way around. You should have called me out of courtesy to tell me that I won’t be getting the test done that I requested for the next days appointment. Eventually the conversation ended by her saying if things are bad to come to the appointment to get examined and I said I will. I came today from 45 minutes away to have them say they canceled my appointment WITHOUT letting me know. NO NOTICE given to me. The “office manager” said I was very hostile on the phone or some nonsense and she DIDN’T let me talk and GETTING IN MY FACE as she essentially pushed me out the door. She actually TOUCHED my arm physically in doing so as she reached for the door. That’s border line assault…VERY UNPROFESSIONAL as I have been an out of pocket patient here for 7-8 years. Also a lunatic. FYI airing your staffing problems and what you pay them to patients is again, unprofessional. And gee I wonder why I could have been POSSIBLY hostile on the phone… they don’t answer the phones, don’t return calls, I had some crappy dentist who didn’t care about my condition, I was charged $150 for a 15 minute consult which I shouldn’t have been charged, should have had a bacteria test performed in January/ April that could have potentially given me answers instead of spending hundreds on a functional MD, my gums have deteriorated under THEIR care….AND NOW YOU CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT WITHOUT TELLING ME AFTER DRIVING 45 MINUTES!!! No common courtesy to do so!? NO regard for other people’s time. Absolutely disgusting! I just lost a days pay for NOTHING. VERY screen ball office. I have been a patient here for 7-8 years. Very unfortunate chain of events. You just lost me as a patient/customer and I will now tell everyone to avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: The intake interview was fantastic. I learned that what I was doing was inadequate for my condition and that besides learning a lot more about apnea, I need to consider better ways to take charge. My story and written materials were listened to and queried so that my needs were addressed. There was no pressure to consider the stock in trade, use of a mandibular device. Instead, I was given ideas to improve air intake with better use of existing equipment. A life changing appointment.

Negative experience: The receptionist won't even explain or ask a more qualified staff member about what the practice does/offers technically. It's like asking a store if they sell something. I have to risk my time and money with a consult just to almost certainly be disappointed to some degree. Yeah, not doing that. The website only explains so much. It would literally take no more than five minutes to answer my questions. The practice's reviews used to be much lower. I suspect there to be bias in the current reviews.

Positive experience: I recently went in for a cleaning and was treated right away even though I was early. The hygienist (Hannah) was efficient, skilled and considerate. She started up conversation and showed an interest in me. All the staff here are so pleasant and helpful.

Positive experience: First time visit. Response to calls and messages needs improvement. Went to appointment on Monday. Called afterward with a question, no response. Text to number provided, no response. Got a call 3 days later about my claim question. I was told I'd get a call back. Ended up calling back again. Finally Got an answer on Thursday!

Negative experience: I was a new client calling to make an appointment and was advised by management that they aren’t able to let me know the cost of a cleaning over the phone? Not sure why a business would have such an idiotic approach with a new client? It’s a cleaning? And you can’t advise of the cost of a cleaning? That’s bizarre I’m set on being a client of this practice that’s for sure.

Fantastic experience: My experience, specifically with Lori Ann Wayland, was great. She took the time to fully explain sleep devices and modalities. She was so helpful and compassionate. I will recommend her to anyone that I come across in my practice as an RN to consider talking to before getting into other options of sleep disorders and apnea. Top notch! Thank you Lori Ann!

Fantastic experience: I truly love this office. The staff is helpful, warm and kind. Dr. Dreher is an absolute sweetheart and best of all, I FINALLY SLEEP! I've been struggling with sleep apnea my whole life, nothing worked, and then I was recommended to come to Dr. Dreher's office. I was desperate but not optimistic. I now not only sleep soundly through the night, I sleep silently! I used to snore louder than anything and now not a peep. I have so much more energy, I lost 13lbs without trying, and I am happier. Thank you thank you thank you for changing my life!

Negative experience: Update: The Practice never contacted me as they said below. Their response was dishonest. I was very hopeful when I first went to this practice the dentist and the hygienist were very kind. They said that they take a holistic approach to patients. As The dentist assistant was doing a mould for my night guard ( after telling the dentist my mouth was feeling fine and I did not want to do any Work right now) He proceeded to drill holes in my partial plate without any permission or discussion with me saying he wanted to “make teeth”. I have TMJ from a car accident so this totally messed up my jaw and my bite and when he tried to fix it he said about a clasp on the partial that most Dentist wouldn’t try to adjust this clasp as it’s connected to teeth, but I’m going to. He then broke the clasp and then the office manager took over. I was waiting for another appointment to adjust the partial. She said you asked for a different dental chair. I said yes I did well I don’t think you’re a good fit for us after trying to get me to pay $4000 for a partial plate without me talking to the dentist about it. I thought I might want to buy an additional partial plate so I wanted to speak to him. She proceeded to tell me that I was a problem. She told me not make another appointment and cancelled the appointment that I had (“he’s doing a very big case right now. I was mad that he even scheduled this appointment”) left me with pain and my mouth in a state where I couldn’t even chew food which down the road, resulted in a fractured tooth. She sent me on my way saying just give me a call next week. She also was disclosing all this personal information about her self her family and her secretary, who was just killed in a car accident like I’m standing in a parking lot not getting what I need and she is trying to get her emotional need met. This is supposed to be a holistic dental office I have spine and neck issues. The original dental chair was fine when they brought me to a different one I asked to have the original dental chair. Apparently that was a problem a big problem in a Holistic dental office wanting to protect my spine. I originally went to have restorative work in a holistic office. This dentist said he could do it and then he referred me to an oral surgeon because he really couldn’t do it though he said he could. This was such a nightmare for me. It’s taken me a long time to write about it I think people need to be aware.

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I've ever had with a dentist. The staff is nice, professional and the office is comfortable. This was the first dentist I've ever visited that actually believed me when I told them that my gums are and have always been extremely (painfully) sensitive. They understood and made my visit completely pain free. I recommend Dr. Dreher without hesitation.

I always communicate my concerns to the staff and the hygienists and Dr Dreher listen carefully and really seem to care. I just recently had my second wisdom tooth out, and from start to finish was just about an hour with no pain at all. I'm thankful for their careful attention to me as a patient and am grateful for the expertise demonstrated in each visit. Thanks!

I finally decided at 40 yrs old it was probably time to see a dentist. I asked around and my cousin told me about this place. I didn’t want a drill and bill dental office. Fantastic experience: I had my first visit here today and finally feel like I've found a dentist I can really trust! I saw a different dentist previously who had tried to convince me I needed a crown on one of my teeth. I wanted to get a 2nd opinion and am so grateful that I did! Dr. Dreher suggested a less invasive treatment plan and reassured me that we can preserve most of the tooth and that my teeth are in overall good condition. I am relieved to finally have a dentist who takes a more holistic and conservative approach to dentistry rather than opting for overly aggressive procedures! He was also very friendly and patient while hearing out my concerns. I highly recommend him if you want to preserve as much of your natural tooth health as possible. Fantastic experience: My first procedure experience with Dr. Dreher's practice was outstanding! I felt heard, understood and informed by every staff member. I had a previous root canal extracted. I only experienced minor discomfort after the novacain wore off. That night he personally called to check on me. No pain or discomfort the day after.
