Fantastic experience: Outstanding crew! They all work together. Pleasant front desk and very informative presenting multiple options. My family had same day appointments. Fantastic! They accept state insurance. Crystal was our attending nurse. She was attentive to my special needs son. Encouraging, positive, friendly behavior will bring us back for life. Dr. Sung was our attending dentist personal and thorough. They compared to any expensive high end dentist I went to in Palms Springs. I hope they never change.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this office by a trusted friend when I had no insurance and a dental emergency. What a godsend! This office has exceeded my expectations, from the front reception to the doctors. The entire staff, and my dental care has been great. I especially appreciate that their number one goal is to save my teeth whenever possible.

Negative experience: I was sent here by the Loma Linda VA’s community care program for dental work. They fixed a cavity on my k9 but left a gap when I told them about the gap and that it was trapping a lot of food they said there was nothing that could be done and it was caused by the spacer used for the cavity fill. Everything that can be done to straighten teeth and you can’t correct something you guys did. SMH. Then they put a corn on that doesn’t cover the entire tooth and leaves some space at the bottom. Needless to say I told the VA to just send me somewhere in Palm Springs. I don’t mind the drive, I’m just not going back there.

Negative experience: Do not go here they have very bad reviews I was a victim... this dentist office did not numb my mouth before trying to remove my molar he got mad because I refuse to let him take my wisdom tooth that was nothing wrong with it I only had one broken molar and he pulled a piece off my tooth an drop it down my throat I started choking and puking. Then they told me to leave while I was choking . I went to the emergency room and took.xrays I reported them to my insurance. This place has no compassion do not go here ... There's more bad reviews about this dentist office . If I was rich I'd Sue them. !!!!!

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible! The dental assistant literally said “we don’t have time for this, just do it” to the dentist about to drill into my mouth even after I said I was not numb. I already have horrible anxiety about going to the dentist! I jumped up and left immediately and will NEVER step foot in that office again! I can’t wait for my insurance company to call and ask me to give feedback on this place!!! I wish I could leave 0 stars!

Negative experience: Said they couldn't numb my mouth to pull a tooth because they were concerned about my blood pressure but yet wanted me to get a deep cleaning at the deep cleaning appointment they never bothered to check my blood pressure and had no problem numbing my mouth for the cleaning where was the concern of my blood pressure at that time ? .. concerned when it suits their need of not wanting to do something I guess .. but was not impressed with their attitude and will go somewhere else

Negative experience: i have a broken tooth and they could have filled it. my appointment was at 2 and i was being told to leave at 2:15 and to reschedule. the filling would have taken 10 minutes but instead rescheduled me more then a week away when im worried my tooth would break more and be un repairable. definitely do not recommend this janky office to anyone who wants good care.

Fantastic experience: Called for a emergency tooth extraction, got a appointment, dentist gave me a prescription for antibiotics and ibuprofen and had me come back in a week to pull the tooth, very little wait time, the extraction was painless and fast, they didn't take my insurance but it was only $250 all said and done, staff was awesome. Definitely will be back.

Fantastic experience: They are all so nice to my kids and took the time to explain to us what Procedures they were going to perform.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a mixed experience with Dr. Baek. I found his practice at the beginning of Covid as they were one of the only places open, and I had a tooth that needed an emergency root canal. He was very good with explaining my treatment plan (ex. I needed a course of antibiotics first to bring the infection down), but both on that visit and during the procedure itself it felt like he was more concerned with finishing quickly to move on to the next patient, and it affected the quality of his work. The tooth began to hurt again after a few months, and after having gone to a new dentist and an endodontist, I learned he did not fully treat one of the roots and the infection has since spread into the bone and nearly reached my sinus cavity. I now have to have the root canal redone, barely a year later. While I appreciate that they can see you on short notice and was satisfied with his team for biyearly cleanings and exams, I would strongly recommend seeking a specialist for any major work.

Negative experience: Terrible place for children, especially if they are afraid. They have absolutely no patience. Maybe if they had focused on my son instead of standing there waving the needle around in front of my kids face while talking about another patients treatment plan and what her insurance would and would not cover things might have gone different. Then they scolded my son for crying because he was scaring the other patients.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The dentists' and assistants' bedside manners, knowledge, and excellent pride in their work really shows through. I had little pain and swelling, and would definitely return!

They were able to get me quick, desptie covid, which really saved me from a lot of pain. Very fast, I had an app at 130pm was a few mins late, was done and out in my car by 2pm. Fantastic experience: We recently seen Dr. Kim. She is patient, thorough and very detailed. I did not feel rushed and she made sure I had no questions about my children’s current status or the procedures that we will encounter in the future. Great customer service and connection. She gave my daughter some toys to play with as she noticed her being restless so that we could continue to talk. My 2yo was nervous. Dr Kim continued to try and make her comfortable, explained processes and said good job. By the end my 2yo was giving high fives. My 9yo has a dental fear but the whole staff here is so nice and calm to make sure she was comfortable. Says “it was good, nothing hurt, they are so nice”. The office is clean and comfortable. Feels like the staff works as a team, friendly and good communication. Always a children’s movie playing. Whenever you call they are polite and helpful. I drive an hour to come to this location for our whole family.

Fantastic experience: I started taking children in my care to Dr. Baek back in 2012 because he was a dentist that came up that takes medi-cal. He was SO kind, so patient and very sympathetic to the fear and anxiety of these children... Doesn't matter your type of insurance, he, and his staff treat you very well and with the utmost care

Fantastic experience: I'm giving them 5 stars cause I really like this dentist..but recently I had some teeth pulled and ended up with a infection so was on antibiotics then after almost 3 weeks it healed and I was happy bout getting my bottom partial done and today I went in and boom another infection I really think they should of took out the roots on that tooth that keeps getting infected its delaying my partial to get done and for that I'm not happy

I’ve had extensive dental work done my entire life ( I’m 64) & trained as a lab tech with the finest ( Implantech in Palm Desert- I was there 2 years) ... my daughter - in- law worked here as an assistant & recommended Dr. Baek. With each visit I’m more impressed! It’s a small, busy & extremely efficient space! No pain... kind and communicative staff. BRAVISSIMO!!!

Third visit and still kind competent staff ! Dr Baek is excellent..made doubly sure that the area was completely numb and then quivk and efficient. Extractions were over in a matter of a few minutes. I was in the dental corps in the US Army for three years as an assistant and later as a hygienist. Good folks at Joshua Tree Family Dentistry !

The doctors are fast and efficient. You walk in the door, sing in, moments later you are called back to the dentist. Minutes later, you are done. Painless too. This organization is run well, very organized, fast, friendly and efficient. Best dentist and office I've ever been to. Thanks for everything!
