Fantastic experience: I came in from another appointment at Progrin in Greer on Suber rd but when I checked in the lady at the desk couldn’t find my appointment but it was made last week. This nice woman at the desk never got upset didn’t have an attitude and made sure I was seen and checked me right in. Not sure if she located my appointment because it was supposed to be in the Greer office and not Greenville. She is a great person and has the best attitude and deserves some type of raise, free lunch or something because she stayed positive during checking me in and my appointment was not located . I don’t know her name but she works at the front desk in the Greer office she has on glasses. Thank you whomever she is for being professional and nice.

Positive experience: Absolutely love our hygienist Judy, and keep coming back every 6 months just for her. Also really love Andrea at the front desk, they are both very familiar to us after several years. What we don’t care for is having a constant change of dentists. We came to this practice originally because it was a one dentist office, Dr Groeber, but since he retired and Pro Grin took over the practice, it seems to be a dentists revolving door. In addition, we dislike having additional services - braces, retainers, night guards etc pushed at us at every visit, hence only 4 stars! I’m 78 years old for goodness sake! Other than that it’s a very nice office, they are always on time with our appointments, and are up to date with very modern equipment.
Fantastic experience: I'll tell you what... this dental facility is absolutely amazing!! I was crying the day I first went in. When I left today, I had a completely beautiful smile! I was so impressed!! My smile is beautiful again! I have the confidence i had a a teenager... and I'm 67! I haven't been to a dentist in many many years. Since I was 17!! I was scared, crying and feeling ashamed when I first got there just a few weeks ago. I left there today with a whole lot more confidence than I had when I got there just a few weeks ago. I will not ever miss another dentist appt!! They are not only very professional, they became my new family! I WILL NOT go anywhere else...ever! Fantastic experience: Dr. Pike and ALL of his staff are amazing and caring.I had been seen previously for an evaluation so this was my 2nd time to step thru their doors. Due to some unfortunate events that came to a head late in the night I had emergency issues that led up ultimately to needing to have a molar extracted immediately . I came in when they opened up and spoke with front office staff explaining the issues and I took the same day afternoon appointment that was offered to me. I came back and this wonderful Dr and his amazing staff took care of me in entirety. They went above and beyond all expectations, answered every question, went over every detail and despite me having severe anxiety about the extraction they showed what a caring and concerned staff does. Dr Pike made sure I stayed as comfortable as possible throughout the entire procedure, making concessions whenever I needed him to stop to give me a break for a minute. He very thoroughly examined and removed a very difficult molar and his wonderful assistant kept things moving and reassured me thru the entire process. I can’t speak highly enough of them.They don’t rush thru and Dr. Pike double and triple checked to make sure all the pieces of my tooth had been removed before he proceed to cleanse the cavity, to then stitched up. They completely outshine any dentist I have used in the past. I was treated as a patient that matters not as a $ or someone to be rushed in and out when there were concerns that needed to be assessed. I have definitely found my dental practice of choice. They took a difficult procedure and made sure it was done properly, and safely while also making sure that I was cared for in every aspect needed. The Dental Assistant was very thorough on my after care procedures. I will be using this office for all future dental work. Thank you to the Dr Pike and the ENTIRE staff at ProGrin in Anderson SC.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today and this was the nicest dentist office I have ever visited. From the time I walked in til the time I left I felt welcomed and that is really hard to come by nowadays. My dental hygienist name was Judy and she was so nice. I was nervous at first but she talked to me every step of the way letting me know what she was doing and why. I would recommend this office to everyone!!!

Negative experience: Ya HAVE to give one star... Went in with an abscessed tooth under a bridge and complained about the pain. He said let's give a while, 4-6 weeks, sometimes these things go away. I was in excruciating pain and told him. He foind two other teeth he said he needed to work on, which weren't giving me pain. That cost me $700+ out of pocket. I called back with pain in the origional tooth I came in for, and they prescibed me 10 days antibiotics over the phone. 10 days went by, and I had to call back. They got me in and did MORE Xrays, and poked around. And he said "OK we're gonna try some antibiotics. I reminded him that I had just gotten off of 10 day antibiotucs the had prescribed. Then he finally referred me to an endodontist. It took forever to get in, and when I did, he took an 3rd 3d xray. In addition to the two ,that were only a few weeks apart, that this dentist did. Then he poked at my tooth and said I need a root canal. I was ready to go. The lady at the front desk had told it would cost me $85 prior to the exam, and I signed. I got.a bill for $400.00 a few weeks later. They were out of my network. I assumed my in net work dentist would refer me to an in net work specialist, or atleast warn me. I called the specialists and said why didn't you tell me you weren't in my network? She literally said "You didn't ask". I cancelled all appointments with this dentist, and the specialist.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment and had such an awesome experience. I had serious anxiety going in, bc dentists just tend to be scary. But when I say they went above and beyond, I mean it. My dental hygenist was very sweet and patient with me. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She explained everything in detail to me and my husband who was allowed to stay in the room with me. She explained how to properly brush my teeth to prevent the plaque buildup I've been having. They provided a lavender towel to help with my anxiety. Everyone was so friendly and kind!!! And it didn't feel like a dentist office at all!! It was so open and modern!!! And our lil nook felt very cozy with a cute window seat with a blanket. I'm blabbering but I just can't get over what a positive experience I had!! Can't recommend enough!!

Fantastic experience: This visit was scheduled the day before the appointment due to pain. When I arrived I was immediately taken in. The entire staff including the Dr could not have been nicer, more attentive or explained everything in more detail. I highly recommend Progrin Dental especially if you have a dental phobia. Fantastic experience: Loved the staff! Judy is a great hygienist; friendly & thorough. After cleaning, looked again at teeth & touched up an area she didn’t think was clean enough. Dr Horn was also very personable & professional. Didn’t feel like I was being sold anything. They didn’t take our dental insurance (only Aspen dental - did not like them at all!!!!) so we joined their dental plan. Looking forward to many years of great service.

Fantastic experience: Im new Progrin Dental an let me tell you it was the best Dentist office I've been too! Im always nervous due to past experiences, but this was a wonderful experience! The staff are very kind and very helpful! I had a Cleaning done my first visit an it was great.. She didn't just Clean my teeth she also gave advice an knowledge about the cleaning not Just brush an floss an thats it like most do! Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient to this office. I've had 2 appointments- 1 cleaning and one filling- both times everyone was great. Minimal waiting in the waiting room. Everything runs efficiently. They offer you care items and frequently ask if you are doing ok. I work in Anderson and was looking for a dentist that would be more convenient to work. Fantastic experience: Out of my thirty years, this is the best experience at a dentist’s office. I have never had a team explain how to brush properly and prevent buildup of plaque. Usually it’s just “brush better” or “brush harder”. Throughout my cleaning, I was taught on how to better care for my teeth. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: My appointment on April 17th was my first visit as a new patient at ProGrin in Anderson. The atmosphere and the personnel were very friendly. The doctor was also very friendly and informative, he explained to me what had happened with my tooth was that the crown had broken and why it had broken. He explained to me the next best steps to take in the repair of the broken crown. I felt at ease in my first visit to this dentist office as I usually feel a little nervous when seeing a new doctor. Fantastic experience: It was a very pleasant experience. I was greeted with smiling faces. Every aspect of the procedure was explained. Everyone including the doctor was kind, gentle and professional. The atmosphere was one of positive individuals enjoying their work with a flair of humor. The trees outside the windows was a plus. Fantastic experience: Having recently moved to the Anderson area, I needed to get a new dentist. I found a gem in Dr Gregory Ayers and ProGrin of Anderson! Before I could even think about teeth cleaning appointments, one of my crowns came loose, so my first appointment was to re-cement it. I went yesterday and am thrilled how over and beyond Dr. Ayers, and the entire staff handled my appointment. I explained I was a Nervous Nelly about getting dental work done in general, and had concerns gluing the crown back in (after some past history with prior dentists), and Dr Ayers and his assistant Maria were very reassuring. Plus while in the chair, we found a developing situation with a another filling breaking up, and they found the time to fix it then and there. I've made my appointment to have my teeth cleaned soon, and look forward to the experience. The checkout staff was also awesome!

Fantastic experience: I arrived early and they took me in early. Julia is a great technician. She explained a lot to me about my teeth and about my insurance coverage. She is very thorough and friendly. She even took photos of my teeth and showed me potential problem areas already developing. Dr. Horn seems like a jam up young dentist. He put me on a program for some repairs and explained the procedures thoroughly. The receptionist detailed my procedures and my cost, and she scheduled me to start the very next week. I like these people. They are very transparent about services and cost. That means a lot to me.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient of this dental office and currently under treatment which will last a couple of years. In the month that I've been with them, I've had a bit of work done. So far, so good! I'm pretty pleased with everything and the staff is awesome. Lots of laughs going around at all times. I'll update as time goes on. 2021 update- I'm having ortho work done with them and see them every month. Love going here! 2024 update - still a patient and now I go every six months for a cleaning with Pamela. Still love going here!
