Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience!! I never thought I'd say that about a trip to a dentist's office, but I really mean it. From my initial warm and welcoming experience with Robin, to Sophia's taking molar x-rays that didn't hurt (a first for me), to the literally pain-free procedure Dr. Shah performed (I actually fell asleep in the chair! And that "little pinch" before the novocaine shots? Never felt a thing!), I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was kind and patient; Dr. Shah gave me honest professional advice, but didn't pressure me at all. They also worked with me to find options that worked with my budget. I will definitely be returning regularly and happily recommending the practice!

Fantastic experience: Wendy, the Hygienist, was very thorough with my treatment and concerned with my comfort. She took Xrays and painstakingly worked on removing the plaque from my teeth and then cleaning them. Dr. Ravi Shah checked the Xrays and then carefully checked my teeth and explained that unless I have any discomfort come back in six months for another checkup.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Dr. Alan Stern's office today after breaking a tooth off of a bridge in my mouth. He's always been there for me. We regaled our 38 years together after the appointment concluded. We were initially brought together because of another emergency. He is a gem! Over the years we have grown to be personal friends. I never forget that he has given me a beautiful smile, lots of laughs and total commitment. Who could ask for anything more?

Made sure I was aware of all my options as far as payments and dental plans they have. They cared more about whether I was in pain than I did as they were doing my cleaning/exam. They are friendly, efficient, and do a great job with my six month cleaning and any other dental needs I have. I like how they explain everything so clearly, provide me costs and allow me to make informed decisions on my care. Dr. Shah saved my boyfriend from expensive surgery by recommending a Waterpik. Most dentists would have just pushed him over to a specialist for what turned out to be unnecessary and expensive treatment. This team truly cares about our health. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, when my front tooth broke off recently, my dentist was away and his office referred me to Dr. Shah who saw me almost immediately. He assessed the situation and determined if he could not save the tooth with a crown, it would have to be removed and an implant inserted. He worked diligently over several appointments to save the tooth with a crown. He is clearly a perfectionist and gave me the best possible outcome. Although I am very satisfied with my dentist, I would encourage anyone looking for a new dentist to try Dr. Shah.

Negative experience: My experience with the dental Hygienist was the worst of my life. Not only was I soaking wet after the session but at 2 points I choked so violently on the excess water that I had to sit up sputtering to breath. The polishing of my teeth was rough and she regular slid off my teeth and into my lips- tooth paste was left all over my face. I have been to this office approximately 5 times and each time there is a different hygienist- I’m not sure what that says. After this latest experience I am considering finding another dentist.

I also have no worries about being in his office during this Covid-19 pandemic. He and his staff go to great lengths to ensure the office is clean and safe. Fantastic experience: I had a crown that came out over the weekend. I left a message on Monday morning and a call was returned in less than and hour and by 1pm the crown was put back in. Dr. Ravi who has taken over Dr. Stern’s practice made sure the crown was put in correctly. I would highly recommend him and their office.

Fantastic experience: Called Dr. Stern’s office and left a message as I had lost a crown again it was the weekend. Dr Erica returned my call around 7:30. She gave me an appointment later that morning. She looked at the crown and noticed I needed work done on the tooth in front. She prepared the tooth for a temporary crown and replaced the lost crown. Fast forward to 7/26 and I returned to the office to get the permanent crown. Dr. Erica made sure the crown fit correctly and adjusted it a few times. Anytime I have gone there I have been warmly welcomed by Fran, Dr. Stern, Dr. Erica and the staff. They make you feel like family and not just a patient. This means a lot especially as I live in North Jersey and travel to see them. Thank you to the entire staff at Dr. Stern’s office.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Stern since the early 1990s. Since then and now, it is always like going to visit family you want to see and catch up with. I always for cared about and cared for by everyone there. Today, January 11, 2022, I visited my dental care family. It was for a cleaning with Jess. Dr. Stern, Fran and Jess could all see that I was anxious (due to COVID concerns). They all took my concerns to heart and spent a few minutes reassuring me. They care not just about my dental health but my mental health as well. This is why I love these people and feel that they are deserving of a five star rating. Thank you guys! Today is January 10, 2023, I had a visit today with my dental care family today for a hygenist appointment with Jess. It is always great catching up with her. She does a great job of helping me take care of my teeth. The whole family, Alan, Fran Jess, and Philipa are a big part of the reason I had such a great visit and report from Jess and Alan today.
