Fantastic experience: One of the only places around Caldwell that takes medicade AND can get you in FAST! office staff is amazing, every dental assistant amazing and the dentist is very good looking oh and amazing . I messed up and missed two appointments. After some begging because of a tooth emergency they let me back on a promise I won't miss any more appointments. I am so thankful for this office.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be more pleased, grateful or blessed after having 11 teeth pulled as I do right now if it hadn’t been for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!! After years of struggling with my addiction I began to develop cavities and avoided going to a dentist because of the embarrassment and shame of it. Eventually one by one they started breaking off and I would get food stuck in them so I’d immediately have to get up from the table to swish it out. It consumed my life from the moment I woke up to time I went to bed. To make a long story short I just had these teeth pulled yesterday and with the help of ibuprofen and Tylenol I’m doing fantastic I just enjoyed my 1st bowl of soup at the kitchen table without having to rush up and I just sat there and cried but I promise they were such good tears. So anyone who reads this and your in a similar situation or you know someone who might be I would 100% recommend Hudson Family Dentistry. Dr. Powelson and staff I can’t thank you enough and I’ll see you again soon

Positive experience: The dental hygienist are always happy and friendly. On the other hand, the 2 girls at the front desk are not sociable at all. They don't look at who is walking in the door , greet anyone or smile. If they are on the phone , or helping each other, they need to speak to the clients that come in for their appointment and advise they will be right with them. Customer service should be #1 in any business.

Fantastic experience: The team here is amazing! I've been coming to Hudson Family Dentistry since they were in the old building but I'm pleased to say the quality of patient care has never changed. I went a few years without dental care due to losing insurance. I've been back in the chair at Hudson Family Dentistry for about a year and have seen drastic improvements in my dental health under their care. I just went back from my 6 month cleaning today- I never would have had this much success without the help of my wonderful hygienist and all of her helpful advice & encouragement ❤️ I've never been so comfortable in a dental office! Also a big shout out to Dr Powelson, his attention to detail at my previous visits, and his casual chair side manner.

Fantastic experience: After not being to a dentist in over 2 years I finally decided to call Hudson Family Dentistry to make a future appointment. I was shocked when she asked if I could make it for a 10am the same day! Everyone was so sweet, so welcoming! I had x-rays then the dentist looked me over very thoroughly and gave me the relief I was looking for, no big issues! Yay! I go back in September for a cleaning with no apprehension whatsoever!

Fantastic experience: I really like how things move along very quickly and do not have to wait no time before seeing the dentist. Usually they will make the appointments pretty close together! So basically I'm not waiting around with a painful toothache! The dentist s are easygoing and gentle and all the girls even the girls up front are very friendly compassionate and helpful! Fantastic experience: I've avoided dental care for years because of the horror stories about how they treat Medicaid patients, but I am very happy to have found Hudson Family Dentistry! They have treated me with respect, listened to my concerns, and have worked within the constraints of Medicaid to give me the best care they can. Turnaround time for appointments is very quick, they schedule things far quicker than any other dentist I have been too. For the first time in many years, I am free of tooth pain! Highly recommended locals give this place a try.

Negative experience: Cancelled my appointment 2 hours before it and offered a replacement appointment 6 months later. Just my thoughts but a replacement appointment not due to my fault should probably take place before I would be due for another cleaning.

Negative experience: Scheduled for 10:45. They rescheduled me at 12 without contacting me. I have an email, a phone #, etc. They said they tried contacting me. They did not, i have receipts. I can make 10:45, cant make 12. Tried to work it out over the phone. She hung up mid conversation. Called back to complain and more of the same. I imagine its the plus sized girl with an attitude.

Negative experience: I’ve gone to this dentist for a few years now. Normally everyone is pretty nice. I had to cancel my appointment today. I got two messages days before my appointment saying it is at 10:45. The day of the appointment I get a message saying it’s at 12 pm. No calls were made to me about the change. I could not make that time, so I called to cancel. The lady was very rude about the “broken appointment”. I didn’t mind that I couldn’t be rescheduled, what I don’t appreciate is being hung up on and lied on. They claimed they tried to get ahold of me but I have no missed calls/emails/text about a reschedule.

Negative experience: Girl taking X-ray was rough ..heard a man screaming in pain while waiting for Dr. Asked for a cleaning appointment and it was going to be 6 month wait. Just a money hungry place.. would not recommend

This is an update...The Dentist that pulled 10 teeth out of my mouth on 10/15/2025 done an excellent job!! I cannot remember his name. He was very concerned about me, making sure I was comfortable and feeling no pain. He kept asking how I was doing an if everything was alright. I go back to them next month. Hudson Family Dentistry is helping me get my smile back!! They do except Medicaid!! In extremely happy that I found them!!

Negative experience: Until today, our experiences with the dental office had been issue-free. However, my 16-year-old daughter was asked to leave the office after they numbed her mouth due to "closing time", despite arriving at 2:40pm for a scheduled 3pm appointment. The office stated that the tooth extraction would cost $300, which her father was en route to pay and would have been made it to the office before 4pm. After expressing my concerns, I proposed making the payment over the phone. Once the payment was processed, they promptly attended to her and extracted her tooth within 10-15 minutes. My daughter, her father, and I have consistently made timely payments as frequent patients of the office. I was upset not only because my child was in pain but also due to our history of fulfilling payment obligations.

Fantastic experience: It's been a few years since I went to the dentist (when Hudson Family Dentistry was in their old office). Being set up as a new patient was fast and easy and inexpensive. The appointment turnaround for fillings was about 2 weeks. Even though the cleaning appointments are out a few months they offer to add patients to a cancelation list.

Fantastic experience: I had about 14 cavities filled here and a couple cleanings and the best ever dental hygienist is this female named Victoria that works there. She took her time with every tooth. She did excellent work. I highly recommend this dental office!
