Fantastic experience: Excellent service and attention from everyone in the office, including Dr. Patel. Susana is very attentive and explains everything she is doing and gives me recommendations on how to improve my oral hygiene. She is very professional.

Fantastic experience: Mary is easily the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had in my 33 years and many dentist office visits from living in different states. She is very warm and calming which is needed especially in patients who don’t love the dentist. You can tell she’s been doing this for a while!

Negative experience: This Dentist could be making 30-50% more if he had someone running the place that was capable! I can only assume the manager is relates to him? They need to stop taking insurance if all they do is slam you will past due notices within weeks of billing it! Yes you bill out of curtesy, but you have to also show respect to clients which doesn't exists with this clerical nightmare!

Positive experience: Dr. Patel and his technician were highly professional. I needed to reattach a loose crown and they did it within 10 minutes! It was easy to get an appointment as well. The reception and accounting is done by the same person and my experience was ‘cold’. They charged me for part of the service even though my insurance paid them for it. It was not easy to get the refund. Several phone calls later I received it!

He is kind, understanding, very honest compared to other dentist I’ve been to and I have no fear of going to the dentist anymore for the longest time which I never thought it would happen. Negative experience: Terribly rude staff progression over the last two years. Will no longer use after a 15+ year relationship. Sad what one woman’s attitude will do for an entire company. They speak to you condescending if they don’t like you, so I guess never have an issue and you will be good to go.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this place for years, every 6 months keeping up with my routine cleanings. Accidentally overslept for my most recent appointment and knew I wouldn’t make it in time so called to cancel and reschedule, granted it’s my fault that I overslept but it happens and whoever answers the phone at the front desk is extremely rude and my mom goes here as well and as soon as I told her she knew because she had a similar experience. The secretary or whoever she is has no manners, hung up before I could even get my thank you fully out. Unprofessional. And I see multiple others reviewers state the same and she’s still permitted to act this way?? I never have any issues and the rest of the staff is fairly nice but her attitude is bad for business.

Negative experience: I am disappointed and confused as to why both locations of Serenity Dental say they do not offer laser therapy for mouth sores when it is listed as a service on the website. This is false advertising and is very frustrating to those who need treatment asap - and neither office could tell me why it was on the website even though they don't offer the service.

Negative experience: Had an appointment for cleaning cancelled due to a cold * (as a lung transplant patient we have to be very careful when sick) they charged me $50.00 cancellation fee. Though they have canceled other appointments on me before I didn't get a discount . The front office staff is very rude . I will not go there again . Dr Patel is great , front office very rude.

Negative experience: They literally should get there act together over at the Wesley chapel location. Over a year ago. My daughter had an appointment and they called my phone to remind me of her appointment for the message a day later and gave her a 49 dollar no show fee. Advise you called me and not her line for she is 24 and responsible of her own appointments they squashed the bill supposedly but find out today when she went to her appointment that she owed this fee. The office manager is very rude and over talking me and will not remove the bill my daughter rescheduled not knowing but called me to let me know she doesn’t have the mine to pay it right now. They change workers in there all the time and whoever I spoke with over a year ago is obviously not there and didn’t remove the fee. I am highly disappointed in their management and there office manager needs a personality check and a liar for she told my daughter that she told me and that was a Blanet lie. They were good years ago but not sure what happened. I would royally consider going there to get teeth cleaned for that was totally unprofessional and rude!

Negative experience: I had been a loyal patient for many years, but I had a very disappointing experience recently. Due to a serious emergency, I had to cancel my appointment the same day. I called not just to cancel, but to reschedule as well. Despite that, I was told I’d still be charged a $50 fee. I was shocked by the lack of empathy and understanding. The person I spoke to was also incredibly rude and offered no real customer service. Because of how I was treated, I’ve decided to no longer continue as a patient.

Positive experience: This was my first visit with Dr Nilash Patel. He did a initial dental exam and talked to me his findings Dr and his office staff is very polite and cooperative. Cleaning is scheduled next month Overall was a very good experience

Negative experience: I dislike having my time wasted. I live an hour away and instead of changing dentist closer to me , I remained a loyal patient and handled the two hour commute. It is not the fault of your patients that you book too many people. All I needed was a simple bonding with no anesthetic and had an appointment at noon. I should not have to wait till after 1 or so for something simple. Every time I’ve came to this office , not once have I had long wait times to get something simple done or reschedule. I’ve been loyal since 2017 or before and after Monday , I will be switching dentist. My time is just as valuable.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by Dr Patel for an emergency in June. I still haven't brought myself to visit a dentist regularly but when I developed a painful abscess and a wobbly bicuspid or two, I called Serenity Dental. I was seen by Dr. Patel without delay. Treatment options were explained clearly, unemotionally and without the hard sell to which I had become accustomed over the years. I was in and out in less than an hour, less two teeth and scheduled for a bridge that has a good chance of saving two other teeth with severe bone loss. I'm in my eighth decade of life and if I had found a dentist like Dr. Patel earlier in my life, I may not have neglected my dental health to the extent that I have.

Fantastic experience: I just completed my last visit for two implants. Dr. Patel was amazing through and through. If you have anxiety, this is the office for you. Clearly, I didn't keep up with my dental visits because of anxieties, but they made everything so easy. Dr. Patel is great. The implant process is for sure a process, but it's the best decision I've made for myself. Highly recccomend.

Negative experience: I had a worst experience with them. They are pathetic. My son had an appointment at 4pm they took him inside at 4:30pm send him back at 4.35pm. Cleaning got done in 5mins really? Doctor suppose to visit and see my son he didn’t see him.. extremely bad experience..awful

Positive experience: The treatment was quick and effective, no complaints. Not happy with their billing procedure. They asked me to pay the fees upfront before billing my insurance company. All medical offices I know bills me for unpaid balance by insurance company afterwards.

His staff of experienced assistants, dental hygienists, technicians and front desk receptionists are very professional, friendly and have expertise in dealing with patients and insurance. Negative experience: Horrible service from the office team. Maryann the office manager and Brittany the front seat clerk, have some of the worst customers service I have dealt with in a while. Being Human Resource myself I was beside myself. When I let the manager know I felt she was being rude …. She said “uuuummm nooooo, I don’t but everyone is entitled to their opinion “. Meanwhile the reason I was calling was due to an overcharge for service for my family member. They had to supply a refund. She did not want to explain a thing. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to. She said “absolutely not!” Customer service should be at the top of the requirements for an office like this. A pity the staff is killing this business.

My previous experiences with other in network dental offices, all corporate, was a high pressure sell on things I didn’t need. This is the first dental office I feel I can trust.
