Fantastic experience: Very very kind ladies, not just 2 or 3.. Every employee has been kind and friendly.. My girls love going to the dentist Thanks to First Impressions in Schofield, WI .. Small play area as well and Cartoons for others to watch and play .. clean and fun..

Negative experience: The office assured me my daughter’s treatments would be split into two treatments. Upon arrival she ended up staying an hour and when going to pay we found out they did both. I never agreed to this, then I was expected to pay for both. The office woman charged my HSA 3 times in a row and now my account is -600 dollars. This is not the dental care teams fault this is an office admin issue. Totally not cool.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very welcoming and understanding. My son, Jaxson was quite emotional and not wanting to cooperate for the staff but they worked with him very professionally and took their time for him to “warm up” to them. They ensured me it was normal for toddlers to react like that and didnt make us feel bad for the reaction.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my two children in for the same apt time with two different insurances! Very friendly and accommodating . My 15 year old has been there since he was very young and they have been great every step of the way. Always satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I took my month old son here to have a tongue and lip tie released. Dr. Maggie explained the entire process including the after care to ensure I understood and could make an informed decision. She also explained the benefits of having this done so young which went beyond just feedings. As a first time mom, I was nervous to have a procedure done on my baby, but it went so fast and they were so gentle and patient with both me and my son. At our follow up, she explained how he was healing nicely and to continue the after care instructions to ensure a successful outcome. It's been 10 days since the procedure and my son is able to latch and feed efficiently. Feedings went from 45 minutes to 25 or less. He also seems less fussy and overall more content. I highly recommend Dr. Maggie and her staff. It was a wonderful and calm experience. When my son is old enough for dentist visits, I'll be returning here!

Fantastic experience: Greeted with a smile by all. Check in process was easy because all the medical history is updated prior to the appointment online. Dr Anna works closely with other First Impressions Drs so we saw Dr Maggie and her amazing team. Both speak calm and with compassion. Even when I acknowledged that we have a high sugar lifestyle that contributes to my children’s cavities, she did not make me feel guilty but had a very honest and informative conversation about it. My 4 year old was a “big helper” and left with a smile. :)

But his recent visit reassured him that as long as he maintained his oral hygiene that dentist visits are easy. Thanks First Impression staff!

Fantastic experience: My children have been going to the Weston office their entire life, each & every one of the staff members have always been amazing & wonderful to the kids!!

Negative experience: Horrible. After my children were seen the dental hygienist brought me back. She continued to grill me about why my children have cavities. I explained that my children had been in 6 months earlier but were referred here due to the previous place not being kid friendly and that before that most places due to Covid were not accepting new patients. She then grilled me about brushing their teeth 3 times daily as well telling me that it’s their diet and then go to an extreme of pointing out that me being pregnant I should worry about my unborn child possibly catching any germs from my children having a few small cavities on their BABY teeth. This experience not only made me feel uncomfortable but judged as if I had purposely allowed this to happen. I went to this place to get help with my children’s teeth not to get lessons in parenting or to be treated like I’m incompetent…

Fantastic experience: Dr. Maggie Chicka is wonderful to work with. Her training and expertise really show in the way she treats and educates her patients. We had a great experience at First Impressions, the staff are friendly and kind. The technicians that work there are just as skilled. We’re so happy we chose this facility to bring our family to, and we will continue to return. Very thankful for the kind and wonderful people there that were able to help us.

Fantastic experience: My son went in for a removal of his spacer and sealant of his molars. Environment was warm and welcoming, especially for kids. They have a playground and video games and the staff was friendly. They came explained all that will happen and ask me if i had any questions or concerns, and reassured mu child he's in safe and good hands. Would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Today I went because my baby wasn’t taking a bottle/pacifier and going back to work I’ve tried everything (11 different bottles to be exact). It was recommended to go and see if he had any ties that could make it challenging for him to feed that way. Well sure enough. But Doctor Maggie walked me through everything and showed me first what it looked like then what they did to release it and what stretches we would need to do for the next couple weeks. They helped me feel comfortable and confident as a first time mom, even gave me some time when I was crying because I was nervous. I definitely will be making the drive to go there throughout my sons early life for pediatric dentistry!

Negative experience: We will never be returning to this dental office. My daughter has anxiety and was nervous during her cleaning. After her cleaning she was crying, once we got to the car she told me that everyone was mad at her for crying and they told her "knock it off, only 3 year Olds cry" (she is 8) . It was an awful experience. I hate that I even have to give it 1 star.

Negative experience: I was very unhappy about my daughters appointment today. She has autism and was referred there for a child friendly dentist. But I couldn't believe how it went. They took us to an empty room and kept us there without bringing us to an actual dentist chair. My daughter was very terrified of the dentist in the first place and change is the biggest thing that affects them. They had no knowledge of autism and how to make it better for her they didn't care. They wanted me to hold her and have her head on the dentists lap. Another absolute no especially when it comes to autism .. they aren't very comfortable around new people. Especially in anxious situations. They didn't acknowledge or listen to anything I was requesting for a.usual dentist experience. I work in the medical field and am going for nursing. But the biggest thing that I've learned since day one is that every patient is different and you need to treat them and accommodate their needs differently.

Negative experience: It so hard to get a hold of anyone here. I have to at least call 8 time to the voice recorder saying there busy with other call and call ends. Have been taking my girls here for years and have always had this issue, would think that after so many years they would fix this issue. Horribly. Please fix your phone problems.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience. Been with First impressions since my oldest was 3 years old. Now she is 13 and my other 3 children all go there too.

Positive experience: I use to give them 5 stars, however the past two years I have to go down in my rating. Mainly because of the wait times - the past four visits we have waiting for 20-30 minutes after arrival to get called in - to me this unacceptable. Then, there are times we wait another 20 minutes AFTER the appointment to meet with a provider. I was OK the first time it happened, but this seems to be the norm. I do not have the time to be at a dentist office for 2 hours at a time for routine or basic oral care.

Negative experience: My 3 year old went in for a check up today, while the assistant took my child away from her dad to get a cleaning she was crying and they still didn't let him into the room with her. I don't think it's right to do that so soon. Imagine some big scary man taking you away from your trusted guardian to be put in a new place for another stranger to be in your face, looking in your mouth poking around with gloves and how scary that would be. Maybe they should wait til they're a little older to do the one on one without parents..

Negative experience: These people are so so judgemental and treated my family disgusting.

Fantastic experience: My son fell off his bike and got a pretty big fat lip and bruised face. I wanted to make sure nothing was cracked or broken and so I called and they got us in immediately to be seen. They did Xrays and looked. I was very happy with how well they treated him and our experience.

Fantastic experience: This is truly an amazing dentistry. The team and facility is top notch. I took two toddlers in. From the moment we stepped in to the very end we enjoyed our visit and I have nothing bad to say. They have a play place for kids and the waiting times are very minimal—which is great for kids with anxiety.

Fantastic experience: It’s my daughters first time going to this place on her first birthday today. The staffs there were gentle and made sure I was able to read lips as I’m hard of hearing cuz wearing face mask makes it hard for me to understand. They explained what to keep monitor for and explained the routine for brushing teeth for a 1 year old. I do have 2 others that goes there. Never had problem with the dentist. All have been great.

Positive experience: Whomever cleaned my son’s teeth today was extremely rude to him. He described her as an older female. She accused him of gagging and coughing purposely during the X-rays. He has a super sensitive gag reflex so this is just untrue. He also was told that coughing was not ok, when his hands were being held down for whatever reason. I’m incredibly disappointed and this now has made visits to the dentist even harder for him. The only reason for the 3 stars is because they really liked the young guy hygienist who came out to the waiting room to get them and my daughter reported that he was very nice. They also said Dr Todd was great.

Fantastic experience: Our girls love everyone at First Impressions! Everyone from the office staff, to the hygienists, to the dentists, have a smile on their faces and are so kid-friendly. First Impressions has a great energy from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave. Oh, and the slide is awesome too!

Negative experience: Will not allow parents back with kids, no matter what. At his appointment following having cavities filled, my son was terrified and wanted me (mom) to go back with him. It’s their “policy” to not allow it. Also did not take the kids back for their apts until 30 minutes past the appointment time. Will not go back there.
