Fantastic experience: Riccobene Associates is an in-network Humana dental provider. I scheduled an initial visit for my mother who recently relocated to the Oxford area. The office is located conveniently off Industrial Drive. The reception staff are very professional and helpful. I’m very satisfied with this office. Anytime I had a question, they were able to assist quickly. I connected with Dr.AlNassir, Chelsea and Jennifer to discuss my mother’s treatment plan and deductible payments. All super helpful. Dr. Ma performed an extraction and was very patient and kind. My mom was comfortable and healed rather quickly after her procedure.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ma is the best dentist. He makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure he answers all of your questions. Jennifer (Dental Hygienist) did a great job cleaning my teeth. I didn’t feel like she rushed as I have at other Dentist offices. I asked for a print out for my cleanings to send in for my wellness benefits and not only did she print it and have it ready for me at checkout but she went through the paperwork so I would know exactly what to send in. I give my whole experience 10 out of 10.

BUT finally decided to use the dental insurance I am paying for - Everyone at this office is so nice, from check-in to dental hygienist to dentist. I'm working toward building better oral health and am happy and satisfied with the care and attention I receive here. 12/10. UPDATE 01/08/2026- I stand by every word. Everyone is so nice, they have an inhouse dental plan, and the rooms are clean.

Negative experience: This I do this southside no don’t do no work. It’s still a charge outrageous price. All I did was look at my teeth and I get billed from my insurance plus $325 and they want to do a cleaning and I’m not gonna pay him another big amount to a cleaning it’s ridiculous.

Positive experience: Went in for yearly cleaning and was informed that unless I had X-rays they could not perform cleaning. Have always kept the six months follow up visits and everything up to date. I feel choice of whether I forego X-rays one time should have been my choice. Their reasoning as I understood it was to cover themselves from future lawsuits. I had insurance to cover the X-rays , etc so the decision to forego X-rays at this time was totally a personal one. I felt like my decision regarding my body was a greater concern than their covering themselves against future lawsuits.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to this dentist. It was a wonderful experience. I get very anxious when I go to the dentist but the staff there made me feel comfortable. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very gentle. The office was very clean. Staff were very friendly and professional. They explained everything before doing it, which was very important to me, and it helped me to feel more relaxed.

Fantastic experience: The practice is great… The workers in there are gray you know everybody is so nice and so helpful. I love it there and I love the way the DENTIST talks to you while he’s doing what he’s doing because it helps to let you know what’s going on.

Negative experience: This place no longer cares about my teeth. All they care about is getting me in & out & hitting up my insurance that is never done correctly. Spend more time taking x-rays than cleaning my teeth because that's where their money is. The hygienist spend a total of 13 minutes cleaning, scraping, flossing, & polishing my teeth if you call it that. Only flossed between 3 teeth & polishing took about 45 seconds.

Fantastic experience: This was my family and I first visit to this office. We will definitely be making this office our home office. The entire staff was amazing. Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and straight to the point about what services we needed and didn’t overwhelm us with a lot of unnecessary services that my prior dentist office listed for us.

Fantastic experience: My mother, my daughter, and I go here for all of our dental needs. My daughter has major anxiety and going to the dentist is a challenge. She does good with a cleaning and exam. But she recently had to get cavities filled. Her anxiety got the best of her and she had to reschedule her visit. Today, we went and the ENTIRE staff that we interacted with was amazing. They were patient with her, they were caring, and they answered all of her questions. She got in and out in under an hour. They took their time and made her feel so comfortable and at ease. This will forever be our dental home!

Fantastic experience: Hygienist was great, as is the dentist in Oxford. However, the waiting room is too cold, and the noise from the loud music and all the laughing and hollering by the staff out front is a problem.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the Dentist in two yrs. (Wow can’t believe it’s been that long) Dr. MA was very professional and friendly. Katie (I believe was her name) very sweet and understanding. A shout out to the Receptionist who took all my info. And introduced me to sunbit credit which will help tremendously for I won’t have to pay a lump some upfront. I hate I didn’t get her name. She even offered to take $50 off my next visit if I was able to come in the next day as they had a last minute cancellation. Thumbs up and keep up the good work Riccobene

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, and i was very pleased with my experience. The office was very clean,& the receptionist was very welcoming and pleasant. The dental assistant I saw, (I think her name was Chloe) was really friendly, as was the Dr. I felt like they were both very thorough in explaining everything,& they made me feel at ease. I have some work to get done, and from their demeanors alone I feel a whole lot less nervous. I would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Note that scheduling appointments and even filling out paperwork does not lead to an actual appointment. Scheduled close to a month in advance of appointment, never received any call or indication that an appointment was not made until I walked in day of. Was told that the person behind the desk (who was clearly on a personal phone call) "meant to" call people who scheduled appointments to let them know that the online scheduling did not work (despite two confirmation emails, paperwork being sent, a reminder text and email, and a text asking to confirm by responding with 1).

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned today by Jennifer Morris !! She is an outstanding hygienist! Then Dr Ma checked my teeth, I WILL be referring my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to your facility

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience. Caring staff Update: 11:00 appointment, arrived 10:45, no other patients in the office, not called back til 11:00. Why the wait? Makes you want to think “11:00 appointment, just wait and call back at 11:00” just this one hiccup, otherwise still a good experience and pleasant staff.

Fantastic experience: As an adult woman with children & grandchildren, this was the best dental experience of my life, and I'm not exaggerating. This was my first visit & it was for a chipped tooth. When I called & spoke with the kindest young lady, I shared my dental anxiety & that I now struggle with agoraphobia w/panic disorder. She reassured me that I would be ok there, and I was. Rebecca was the dental assistant who worked with me. She was so reassuring. Dr. Ma came in and was probably one of the nicest people in any branch of any medical field ever. They walked me through what they would be doing beforehand, and that allowed me not to have any surprises. Dr. Ma had a very calming voice & was very gentle. We liked them so much that we are going to put my daughter on their on their membership program since they don't take her insurance currently. I left feeling very calm & reassured and with my next appointment for a full exam scheduled! The only recommendation is if we could get the yucky tasting stuff changed to chocolate tasting. What do you think Dr. Ma?

Fantastic experience: I was in need of a root canal and crown as I was in some pain. My condition was evaluated and when the need was determined the process was started immediately. Dr. Ma and Katie worked together to make me comfortable while they efficiently went about their tasks. Overall it was a very satisfactory experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ma, Rebecca (office staff) and their team at Riccobene in Oxford are amazing at what they do! I have been a long time Riccobene patient just in Raleigh and the Oxford location holds up their name and reputations well! I was able to have my husband seen, assessed and referred out. The doctor even knew he may need additional assistance for a reoccurring abscessed area that we are now getting extracted and was able to come through for us. Even with leaving a message and a quick note in their 'contact us' section, I was able to get same day referral assistance. Many folks are scared of dentist but this dentist is superior in handling the patient bedside manner and reactions, but also competency in dealing with the billing and customer account side too, which you don't find both in many places. Thank you for being available!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ma and his staff are very friendly and easy to work with. They go out of their way to make you feel special as if you're their only patient. The last appt with Dr Ma required local amnesia, which is one of the reasons I usually hate going to a dentist. However he inserted the needle so gently I never felt it at all. Today I met a new hygienist, Jennifer, who was very thorough and my teeth are gleaming! There is a new dentist as well and he was engaging and personable too. After deciding to switch my dentist and spending some time reaching out to several dentist offices, the Riccobene folks, including Rebecca at the front office, have made me feel like they care about me and the wellbeing of my choppers. Every visit has been pleasant and has made a positive impact on my teeth. That amazing service includes a recent visit due to pain in a back tooth. Riccobene (Rebecca and Dr. Ma, particularly) were able to get me in quickly, find the cause of the pain, and recommended a course of action that mitigated the pain after just one day! We worked together to make a positive plan for ongoing solutions for a tough scenario with my teeth. If you've had challenges with your teeth and couldn't find a caring dental team and a fix, or if you are looking for a new dentist team you can trust, I highly recommend the Riccobene bunch! Thank you Riccobene - you folks are great!

Fantastic experience: I've been at this dental office since 1996, and will continue because they're just that GOOD and all the staff are very nice.

Negative experience: Went into to have my teeth cleaned. They cleaned my right side and was to get my left side clean 2 weeks later. I called to it information on appointment. No one knew what was talking about. I went with another dental clinic. They are unorganized and don't care.

Negative experience: It’s clean and staff are nice, but the male dentist was rude and belittling with not quality dental work. The old staff and Dr Drew were so much more knowledgeable and better experienced. It now feels like this has gone from being a five star “restaurant “ to a Micky Ds of dentistry.

Negative experience: The people were nice and I had reviewed them them at 5 star. Since then my filling fell out and I was told to come in on Friday. I did that and the dentist who did my work wasn't in. I was informed that he would reach out to me the following week and that was almost a month ago. I have left several messages but no return call. I'm on disability so income is limited but to pay almost 450 dollars and get treated as such is not ethical. Will not be going there anymore.
