Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Bayside Periodontics. Dr. Alicja had a good hand, soft and gentle, and kept me informed and patiently explained every step of the procedure to me. Her assistant, Nahida, made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure and had incredibly gentle and kind bedside manner. She followed up after the procedure to check on how I was doing, and I felt very well looked after and comfortable in their care.

Updated review: I've been seeing Dr. Yoo for about two years now, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him and his entire team. Dr. Yoo is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and kind, and the staff always makes the office feel welcoming and well run. When I first became a patient, I didn’t really understand how dental insurance worked. Sandra took the time to walk me through everything and clearly explain how my two insurance plans would coordinate. At one point, I even had three different insurance policies, and the office went above and beyond by running all of them to make sure I received the maximum benefits and the best possible coverage. Crystal also deserves recognition…she is always friendly, incredibly patient, and consistently returns my calls, which I really appreciate. Melanie, who handles my periodontal cleanings, is also wonderful, always kind, professional, and consistently on time, which matters a lot to me since I value my time as well. Over the past couple of years, I’ve had many appointments, and I can only recall one time when I waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. That’s extremely rare for any medical office. They are punctual and genuinely respectful of their patients’ time. Beyond my quarterly periodontal cleanings, Dr. Yoo and his team have taken care of two implants, gum grafting, and several retainers for me. Every visit has been a positive experience, or at least as positive as a dental appointment can be. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring, efficient, and trustworthy dental team.

Her instructions were clear, and the Rx's were sent immediately to my drug store. The staff is courteous and welcoming. I had to have a very large molar (#14) removed. It was done quickly and without pain. I recommend them highly.

My deep cleaning was much easier than I expected thanks to the hygienist Joanna, who explained each step, checked in on my comfort throughout the procedure, and provided clear instructions afterward. Positive experience: This is by far the friendliest periodontal office I have ever used and I unfortunately have a lot of experience in this area. lol They really put an emphasis on your comfort level and getting your mind at ease since these aren’t the most enjoyable procedures. But if you’re coming here it’s because you need it (trust me) and there is not a nicer staff. Dr McCrudden is a wizard if you’re looking to get an implant. I was a difficult case. But she has an expertise and surgical skill level that is special. I highly recommend her.

Negative experience: I had an appointment today with the clinic but I had fallen sick and could not attend my appointment. I called the office to let them know that I was not feeling well (even had to leave work early). The lady I spoke to told me that I am banned from making appointments at the clinic due to a history to making appointments and canceling, which I cannot remember ever doing. I believe this is the first time I am making an appointment with this clinic. If they had this information about me, why was not I told about this when they made the appointment for me? I have never heard of a clinic banning patients due to an emergency cancellation. I do not recommend this clinic at all.

Fantastic experience: This is really a great office. I was greeted with open arms the second I walked in. Everyone is so friendly. Office is extremely clean. Dr. McCrudden is wonderful. Warm, caring and thorough. My first time there and highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McCrudden has been wonderful when she works on my gums for the past several years. She pulled out a tooth a few months ago and now put in the implant and it was painless! I was nervous but the dental assistant put me at ease. The front desk staff are also very helpful and friendly. Positive experience: Today my teenage son had a dental procedure, a labial frenectomy and a tissue graft done by Dr McCrudden. Hopefully everything is fine. I wish the doctor had told me how the procedure went due the fact that my son is a minor. After the procedure my son was sent to the waiting room with her assistant, she was telling me about the post operative care and hand me a list of general instructions for surgery.Today was our second visit, The first visit the doctor was very approachable. Hopefully she becomes more sympathetic.

Negative experience: Do Not Recommend this office!!! This place is dishonest about payments. They overcharged you and they will not refund you unless you bring it up. They already got pre approval from my insurance plan and they knew about patient responsibility. And yet they are still asking you to pay more than what you supposed to. This place is a scam!!!

Fantastic experience: The deep cleaning that I received at Dr. Albert Yoo's clinic was a kind of miracle. One deep cleaning stopped all my bleeding. Negative experience: I had a very frustrating experience with this dental office. This morning, I found myself locked out of both my apartment and car, which caused a significant delay. After finally getting my keys and driving to the office, I called them immediately to inform them that I would be about 20 minutes late due to unexpected traffic and parking difficulties. The staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and insisted that they could not accommodate a dental cleaning if I was more than 10 minutes late, even though I was already on my way. When I suggested rescheduling, they told me I should have contacted them 24 hours in advance and claimed I had received multiple reminders. They then threatened me with a $75 cancellation fee. Additionally, I was extremely disappointed with how the office handled my previous visit. Despite paying all the out-of-pocket costs for a deep cleaning as explained to me at the time, I later received a collections notice for an additional charge. I had hoped to address this issue during my visit, but the staff seemed more focused on penalizing me for being late. Overall, the lack of understanding, inflexibility, and poor communication have left me very dissatisfied with their service.

Dr. Alicja is the most professional dentist I know, and she is also incredibly kind and honest. Over the past years, I've needed five implants, all of which were expertly done by Dr. Alicja. My family and I have complete trust in her skills and always rely on her judgment when it comes to our dental care. A few words about the office: The entire staff, from the receptionist to the assistants and doctors, is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and patient-focused. The office is also very clean and well-organized. If you need high-quality care from periodontists, this is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr.Yoo were so wonderful professional and most important kind. I had two post and graphing done. I have been avoiding this procedure for years. Terrified. They explained all details shared personal antidotes to relief anxiety. It resulted in pain free surgery I was awake with local. It went fast. No bleeding minimal swelling. Negative experience: Overall check up was ok , felt a bit uncomfortable walking in but the hygienist was so pleasant and the doctor check up was not bad ( although I felt she may have been bit uncomfortable from the start ), however the office said they would checkin with my insurance and give me a call back . I called a mth later and then I called two months later to check in. The receptionist response was that they will call me back- which they did not I can’t help but to think this is due to my race as I am a African American individual and they did not want provide service, I also reviewed all of the previous reviews and noticed none were African American which is honestly just a bit sad and hard to experience.
