Fantastic experience: I worked Dr. Hyland and her team to have my newborns tongue tie revised. They were wonderful to both my girls and myself while we were in the clinic. Fast forward almost a year I was still struggling with insurance over coverage, and I’ve never had the pleasure of working with such a responsive, friendly, and helpful team!

Fantastic experience: Soooo very grateful for the professional team at Hyland Dental. Had a veneer come off of a front tooth this morning... Not a fun way to start the morning. Fortunately I didn't crunch on it or swallow it and noticed something just not right amidst my mouth full of gummy supplements. Bottom line up front is it's evening now and I'm home with my veneer back where it belongs and better then new. Doc Hyland and her staff got me in and out today before I even realized I wouldn't be waiting a weekend or a week to get an appointment. Thanks again to all for such a talented and caring operation. Fantastic experience: Had my appointment to get my broken tooth fixed, and even though a piece of equipment wasn't cooperating, that didn't stop anyone at Hyland Dental! They went above and beyond to see me in a timely fashion for a consult and scheduled my repair incredibly fast. Staff were all very pleasant. Highly recommend! 7/15/25 Just had a second crown done by Hyland Dental. I can't say I'm happy to be needing crowns, but this is the place to go if you do. The staff are all pleasant and thoughtful and the procedures have been painless and done same day in less than 3 hours! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have found my forever dental home! After some undesirable experiences at my the last two dentists, I followed my son's recommendation right to Hyland Dental. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and I felt very much at home. I have dental anxiety but did not feel anxious during the visit. Caroline told me everything she was going to do and was very gentle and encouraging. No scolding or put-downs here! And they checked on my insurance before going beyond typically covered check-up procedures. They care about all of me, teeth and wallet. NO SURPRISES here! Thanks to all of you for your care! I'm even going to start going every 6 months instead of a year! **Update: I've since had 2 crowns redone. (The first ones were from a previous dentist.) Hyland Dental makes them in their 3-D printer while you wait. All done in 2 hours--one visit and one trip to Mankato. Once again, excellent care!! Another update 2025: My hygienist, Anika (I think?) was so friendly, nice, gentle, encouraging. I couldn't help but think about a previous hygienist at another dentist office who was extremely critical and very rough. I didn't believe her criticisms because hygienists before and after said I did a great job caring for my teeth and cleanings were pretty quick. Dr. Hyland is also great, compassionate, gentle. She gives me the facts and options and isn't pushy. Even if my blood pressure raises slightly LOL, I don't feel the extreme nervousness I had when I first started coming to Hyland Dental. Thank you all for helping me keep my sanity when facing a dental visit or problem!

Fantastic experience: I always have excellent service @ Hyland Dental. I had a crown procedure today, start to finish about 2 hours. It was so nice to get it taken care of all in one day. Thank you!

Negative experience: My daughter had an appt on the Monday after Thanksgiving. My stepfather passed away the day before Thanksgiving and we found out on Thanksgiving that his funeral was on Monday. I called the office Friday but they were closed. It said “our office is currently closed” so I hung up. Understandably I forgot to call Monday morning as we had to be at the funeral at 8 for a 9am viewing with services to follow then burial. I called them Tuesday to let them know what had happened and why we missed the appt. The receptionist was extremely rude (always is anytime I’ve talked to her on the phone) and said she had to ask the Dr about the “fee” for a missed appt. She then told me the Dr said it wasn’t an excuse and I would have to pay a $50 missed appt fee and moving forward would have to put down a $50 deposit for cleanings and $100 deposit for any other work. If this doesn’t scream “I became a dentist for money not because I care about helping people” I don’t know what does. It’s really sad. I’m a nurse and have quit jobs because the company I worked for cared more about money than the patents. Hopefully anyone that goes here doesn’t have a death in the family causing a missed appt.

Fantastic experience: I can't believe that I am posting... about a "positive" experience at the Dentist, but this is the truth. I really don't look forward to going to the Dentist or a Doctor, but it's comforting to know that I am in good hands, with dental competency & customer care. I'm that guy that asks a lot of questions, and each one is addressed to better inform the customer... to allow good & wise decisions.

Fantastic experience: It was my 1st visit at Hyland Dental, as I walked through the door I was instantly impressed how inviting it was, and cheerfully greeted. The dentist and her staff were professional, cheery, personable, and quite knowledgeable. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to go and will continue to go there, I highly recommend this place. In addition , I was given a printout of my X-rays and all that had been done , plus future visits that will be needed, everything was explained thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: It was the best experience I've ever had at the dentist, I definitely recommend them. I had some fillings filled and there's a sharp little piece left over but they're very accommodating in getting in ground down after the Novocaine wears down.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hyland revised my daughter's lingual frenulum. Dr. Hyland was so kind and warm to help ease my 9 year olds nerves. The procedure was quick and she is healing amazing! So grateful to have an airway focused dentist so close to home!

Fantastic experience: I had 2 crowns done this morning, the whole process took only 2.5 hours. With the state of the art computer scanning the crowns fit perfectly on the first try. Their numbing anesthesia is different than I’ve ever had and so much more comfortable than getting a shot of Novocain. The office is very clean too.

Fantastic experience: An urgent care physician referred me to see my dentist about several raised areas in my mouth I went in for. With shaky nerves, I called Hyland to get an appt. Two hours later, I was in the chair and provided a compete and honest review of the findings and a plan to move forward and get things figured out. I am able to relax and sleep a bit tonight, knowing the Dental team at Hyland Are taking care of me yet again!!!

I received a cleaning by my hygienist Sara (who is very thorough) and then met with Dr. Hyland to review my updated x-rays and discuss any issues that may have arisen since my previous visit. 10/10 once again.

Fantastic experience: The staff is great, the care is top notch, but those chairs....comfortable...except for no elbow rests. You've gotta sit on your hands or consciously hold your arms up for the entire appointment or they'll just fall off. A minor complaint, but when you're sitting there for an entire appointment, it's not comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Hyland Dental has been great with my whole family's dental care, but something I really wanted to write a review about is the mouth appliance they made me. I've had headaches several times a week for over 20 years. It seemed as though, nobody could figure out for sure what was causing my headaches. Here's everything I've tried over the 20 years. Advil Stretches Exercises Magnesium Mouth guard for clinching from dentist Home neck massages Home neck stretcher Massage therapist Chiropractor Acupuncture Anxiety meds Muscle relaxer pills Melatonin Ashwagonda Flonase CBD oil CBD gummies Ice/Heat TheraFlex TMJ pain relief cream & Theraflex RX TMJ pain relief capsules After exhausting all these options and realizing these headaches have been caused from clinching at night, I knew it was time to look into a mouth appliance that was specific to relieving jaw tension. An appliance that holds the jaw in a position that is the most relaxed and unable to put pressure on the jaw muscles. (Not just a mouth guard that protects the teeth) These appliances are not cheap. I compared Hyland to other places, and Hyland is priced really reasonable. They use top of the line technology to create these appliances. I've spent allot of money over the years trying to maintain my headaches. This was money well spent. I finally have relief of my headaches! Thank you Dr. Hyland, Cassy and the rest of the team for all you do!

Negative experience: Everything was going well and then BOOM all of a sudden they started cancelling my appointments without notifying me! I had been going to them for 2 years, and out of the blue they turned into a nightmare. I have federal government EMPLOYEE insurance. I had a bill with them, but I paid it off over time. I had never had an issue with them when I was able to pay in full if there was a balance after each appt. Makes me think they were all about money. PLUS, they wanted me to come in every 3 months, but never had appointments available for me. UPDATE: now that I have been to another dentist, I now found out, they were trying to fill cavities (2) that ARE NOT THERE!! I AM SO GLAD THEY CANCELED MY APPOINTMENTS BECAUSE NOW I KNOW THEY'RE FRAUDULENT AND ALL ABOUT MONEY. I trusted them

Fantastic experience: Dr Hempen was great. She was able to squeeze a very lengthy procedure very quickly knowing I was in a lot of pain. She performed a root canal on a very badly infected tooth of mine. She was very gentle and very informative. She made sure I was as comfortable as I could be before performing a procedure and checked with me frequently to make sure I was still comfortable. After she was done with procedure she explained everything that was done and how to properly take care of tooth also made sure appointment was set for the next step in the procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone I come across needing dental work. Also the dental assistant was just as kind. Very great crew of staff working there and love it there. Great experiences all around.

Fantastic experience: Everyone who helped me was super nice and I got checked in super easy even though I was about 7 minutes late. I didn’t wait more than a few seconds before someone was able to help me. They’re also just really convenient like the location and making the appointment was pretty easy. Oh and they play music which is really nice if you maybe get a little anxious with things like that. Overall it was really chill for a dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I'm very frightened of dental care but Highland dental is changing that. Dr. Kylie has never caused pain for either a cap or a filling replacement. Everyone at the clinic is kind and straightforward with information. I am very glad I found Highland Clinic!

Fantastic experience: I have never had such a comprehensive dental history, physical exam/cleaning, and tips on toothbrush use as I received from Brittany the Dental Hygienist! When Dr. Hyland performed the follow up exam, it was not just the touch here and there exam, it was very detailed and comprehensive. The teamwork was impressive.
