Not only does it take 4 hours to be seen so you're sitting in a hot waiting room for hours and then when he finally see the dentist you're in there 10-15 minutes there's no thought behind your treatment they just do whatever I went in there with a specific problem on the left side of my mouth and they ended up doing something on the right side of my mouth and now I'm in pain and they refuse to help

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I had to walk out because I was taken to the back to wait over 2 hour for just a cleaning and were trying to make me wait longer… while they lied and told me it was insurance issues… I could hear the dentist complete other patients even though my appointment time was before any of theirs because of overbooking. Staff is not the most professional, and office is not the cleanest.

The front desk team Evelyn and Sonia was organized and helpful, making the check-in and scheduling process smooth and stress-free. The dental assistants Jocelyn and Valerie were kind and attentive, always checking to make sure I was comfortable during my visit.

Positive experience: I had a great experience at this office! Sonia at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process quick and smooth. In the back, Dayleen and Jocelyn as dental assistants were amazing—very efficient, attentive, and did excellent work. They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. Negative experience: The WORST dental experience I’ve ever had. Aside from the office being dirty and unorganized, which should have been my first red flag. I was scheduled for a basic cleaning that was covered by my insurance. After x-rays and exam, they told me I need a “deep” cleaning on top of over $2000 worth of work. I told them I can revisit that another time, but I was there for a cleaning that was covered by my insurance and they refused to do it. The dentist then said she would do my cleaning for “free” even though they were billing my insurance and literally just brushed my teeth and flossed and called it a professional cleaning. I felt pressured into starting a payment plan for the work that I did need done because my insurance had already covered xrays at this place. I’ve already paid $300, to which I’ve gotten about 6 calls stating they have to collect payment after I’ve provided proof of payment. I didn’t feel good about continuing service with them, so I went to a new dentist for examination and they were appalled these people tried to claim I have periodontal disease which was the reason they refused my standard cleaning. So not only did they LIE about my dental health, but they overcharged me for 3 fillings and now refuse to give me a refund for services I never recieved. Just sat on hold for a whole hour, for them to say “call back tomorrow, the manager MIGHT be able to take your call” This office is extremely rude and unprofessional.

Negative experience: My first experience with this office was a very unprofessional receptionist that loudly complained about her job in front of all the patients. Everyone else has always been great, especially the dentist. However, today we weren't called back for our appointment for over an hour and I had to cancel another appt I had because we weren't done (for a simple cleaning for one child) until 2.5 hours after our appt was supposed to start. I get being understaffed or whatever. It sucks for the employees, for sure. But I had a baby in tow and was close to tears trying to keep things together for that long. I think I'm going to find another dentist for my kids.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental office I have been to. Over 3 hrs wait is unacceptable. I have been here three times. Office staff unprofessional and manager is never around to speak too. You call the number for billing. They transfer to finance, billing and then tell you to call the office. The dental office is the one who gave me the number. There is no efficiency to the way they run it. It is my understanding when they see patients and they need more work done they will do it. Why make all the other patients wait for hours??? Don’t waste your time. Go elsewhere. There has to be better dental offices in Alvin. Not sure how they got 4 stars.

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience at this office with my daughter. They rely on a call center that appears to have little understanding of the actual office schedule or provider availability. Because of this, we were scheduled multiple times on days when the office was already fully booked or when the dentist who accepts our insurance was not available. We received a call the day before the appointment to verify insurance, yet on the day of the visit my daughter was incorrectly listed as a cash patient. While the initial appointment was brief, we were told a cavity could be filled the same day and that it would take approximately 40 minutes. Instead, we remained at the office for over two and a half hours. When my daughter finally came out, she told me the dentist informed her she had to wait because other patients were being “impatient.” Making her wait to accommodate another patient, especially after we were told the procedure would only take 40 minutes, is completely unacceptable. Between the repeated scheduling errors, insurance issues, excessive wait time, and unprofessional communication, this experience was extremely disappointing and not one I would recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Evelyn the PCC was very fast, helpful, and professional throughout my girls visit. She made the check-in process smooth and efficient. Even though I noticed Jocelyn was the only assistant working, she was moving quickly and keeping everything running on time. I didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes in the lobby. Overall, great teamwork , positive attitudes and excellent service!

Negative experience: It’s always a 30min wait. They never have there things together a whole bunch of teenagers in the front; not professional at all. They’re always trying to push braces.

Negative experience: NEED TO MANAGE TIME BETTER ALWAYS STUCK IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR AND THEYRE ALWAYS MYSTERIOUSLY BUSY WITH PATIENTS.STOP MAKING SO MANY APPOINTMENTS IF YALL CANT KEEP UP WITH THEM

Negative experience: EVERYTIME without fail I have an appointment with them they’re ALWAYS “backed up” and have me waiting at least 40 minutes to an hour just to even get seated in a room…DO BETTER and they sent me one time one hour away just for the other people to tell me i got sent for no reason.If I could I would 0 star.

Negative experience: Don’t come to this place I had an appointment at 9:00am they didn’t call me till 2 pm best place ever and they didn’t do nothing cause they said it was too late for them to do Wht they supposed to do I’m not goin back to that place

Negative experience: Appointments are never seen on time my kid had what they scheduled as extractions he couldn’t eat he had a 9 am appointment that we arrived to at 8:37 am… after 9 am I went to ask about time and the manager says he needs to have a consultation and we could then choose to do the extractions the same day and it could be 2 hours no empathy for a 12 year old it’s now 11 am and we haven’t been seen!!!

Negative experience: The first few times I brought my kids here, everything went smoothly. But the last several visits have been very disappointing. On two different occasions, they called and texted to confirm my appointments, only to have me sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes before being told they were short a dentist or that the one who accepted my insurance wasn’t available. That meant leaving work for nothing—not once, but twice. If you can’t honor the appointment, why confirm it and then make someone wait just to say they can’t be seen? Another time, my son had an appointment for a cleaning and cavity fillings. It took nearly an hour just to be called back. After the cleaning, he sat in the chair for 30 more minutes before a dentist ever came in. He ended up having to leave for work, and we had to come back the following week to finish. To be fair, the hygienists have always been kind and professional, but the ongoing communication issues and long waits are unacceptable. The waiting area also isn’t as clean as it should be, which doesn’t inspire confidence. At this point, I’m done giving chances. With so many dentists in the area, I’ll be taking my family elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, because I wanted to like this practice—they’re close to home—but the repeated problems make it clear this just isn’t the right place for us.

Negative experience: They make you an appointment and make you wait a whole hour to get seen. It’s like if they book so many people at the same time. It’s very time consuming and they don’t take inconsideration that children have sport practices, other siblings that have to be picked up from school. This is way it’s called an appointment to get seen at that time.

Negative experience: Have came multiple times for cleanings and for boyfriends cleaning each time the wait is over 2 hours. Waiting room filled to the point of no seating.

Negative experience: This place deserves 0 stars. I have NEVER dealt with such incompetence across an entire company. The only redeeming thing is the actual dentists and dental hygienists are kind and good at their jobs. I pre-paid for a service, which was my own fault for trusting their recommendation. When I went back, we decided not to do it, and they said they would submit a refund request that day. They did not. When I called billing 2 weeks later, they had no record of the request. Throughout the entire refund process, there has been terrible communication and straight up lies between corporate billing and the office, each pointing fingers at each other for why the refund isn't being processed. We're past the timeline they gave, and now I've been told that after I spoke to Sonia, the office manager, 3 weeks ago, when she told me she would reach out to the billing team and request a partial refund (apparently it's tied up with a separate insurance claim), the billing team has no detail of that! So now I have to keep waiting for them to talk to each other. No one will help figure out, at this point it has been over 3 months since the initial refund request was supposed to be submitted, and I fear I will never get that money back. Icing on the cake - even though we verified our insurance before every visit, we received an EOB stating the doctor was out of network. The office had no idea why, so after calling insurance, I found out that the dentist they scheduled us for, the one they confirmed MULTIPLE TIMES, was in network, was not in network. She was 5 days after our visit. FIVE DAYS. Now, because of their errors and misinformation, we are going to be out thousands of dollars. There were a lot of other issues too with getting follow-up appointments scheduled (we're still getting emails for appointments that we cancelled) and waiting for almost three hours in the waiting room. I have been to many, many doctors and dentists in my life. I have never had something like this occur. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Negative experience: WASTE OF TIME. All the other bad reviews are right. Their address improperly located on Google Maps which adds to the frustration of delayed waiting and poor service.

Negative experience: Terrible place! As soon as you enter the atmosphere of the place gives you signs that you should not be there: dirty windows and floors, noise, everything looks neglected. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. They didn't even notice my presence. I checked in and completed my papers. I waited for 1:30h (because I had to remind them that I had been waiting for a long time). They told me that the appointment was scheduled for a cleaning and examination, reasons why I was not there. The room is super unhygienic, nauseating and neglected. No privacy , I listened to everything that happened with the patient in the other room. I wish I had something good to say about this place but unfortunately I don't have anything positive about this experience. Dignify people's time and health!!!

Negative experience: I went to brident dental a few days ago, in pain, they said I did not have an infection under my bridge, they offered to pull the tooth behind my bridge, & gave me a paper with endodontics doctos to go see. I knew something was wrong. I left, & made appointment with another dentist, they did complimentary exam & x ray, the doctor said I have 2 absess under my bridge & prescribed me a Z Pac. ?? I don't get it. Got 2nd opinion, 7-10-25, Edit post: the dentist who offered to pull the cracked tooth in the back, was correct about that tooth being source of pain. But said I did not have an infection with any of my teeth. I got there at 11 a m, & left at 2:30 p m. The office was dirty, the floors especially, if I remember correctly, the dentist said she doesn't have a lot of experience with extractions. The biggest problem to me was the medical equipment in the office, did not take pictures that showed the 2 absess under my bridge, that's the next dental procedure I've got to address.

Negative experience: They won’t respect your time! I overheard a young boy tell his grandma that he was ready to go home because it’s been 2 hours. After 15 mins that I had been there, they were finally called back. I waited an hour, asking if I would be called back soon (no one else was the lobby at the time) and I had still not been called back. I had 2 appointments scheduled, 1 for an ortho consultation and 1 for a teeth cleaning. It’s hard to believe that at least one appointment could not get started within a hour. The front desk person was helpful and said they informed them a couple times. I left since I felt they were weren’t going to respect my time either. I was not about to wait 2 hours to find out if I would be called back! I won’t be back and would not recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: If negative reviews existed this place would be the winner. (GENERAL SIDE) My daughter is 11. She came in for X-rays and braces consultation. We were told braces were good to go. Cool I knew she would need them. I was told she would need a tooth pulled but would need to schedule this to come back in 2 weeks along with her cleaning and to place the bottom braces on. Perfect. We show up wait more than a hour to be told by the dentist that he recommends I schedule a peds dentist there and they can extract the tooth. All they would do is a cleaning. I asked about the bottom braces and this had to be confirmed since she didn’t get the tooth removed, they went ahead and placed the bottom braces on. Okay cool once more we are scheduled to come in ( keep in mind this is my 3 visit in less than a month so I have had to take off work) we wait the 45 minutes to go to the back to be told my daughter is to old to be seen my their peds dentist because there pedis only goes up to 10 years of age. My question is THEY scheduled this appointment in office. They have her age in her chart it hasn’t changed in the last month. I was giving the excuse oh our peds dr is new. OKAY AND? That doesn’t change my daughters age or the fact that they have her chart with all her information in it. I was told I needed to call these numbers on a pamphlet they provided. I call to be told that they didn’t understand why my daughter was needing to anesthesia for a baby tooth and then I needed to call my insurance and find a different provider. I finally found a provider within my insurance network and they requested that I need to get the X-rays from BRIDENT considering they already charged my insurance for them or I would be charged at a pocket for new set. I called Brident I was told I need to sign a release. Cool I understand. I was asked if they could please email it to me and I was told no I have to come in person and sign the form then they could release my information to the new dentist. I go in and sign the form and ask them after I sign the form if this is all that was needed To send over the information to the new dentist and was told yes. Today I called my daughter‘s new dentist to see if they received the x-rays and was told no. The new dentist office called Brident and was placed on hold and then sent to a voicemail. I called and spoke to a representative and was informed that it could take up to 30 days because they have to send the form to corporate. I asked if they could just email me the x-rays and then I can take them wherever I need to go and she said she would have to get with her manager and call me back. The communication on the general side of this office is a complete joke. So if your looking for a place to take your money, do the bare minimum work, charge your insurance, and NOT release your information that you have already paid for this this the place for you.

Negative experience: Genuinely never go here. I got surgery to get four teeth extracted and got sepsis right after. Not only that but the surgeons laughed at me when I was in pain during surgery. Couldn't fight back either. Might be traumatized. If you also want to be scarred for life, this place is the right fit for you. For any other sensible person, NEVER go here. Not worth a single cent. -10000/10

I sat in that waiting room for an hour and a half not being updated on delays not being told okay theres a wait of so many minutes. I ended up leaving so I have nothing to say regarding the treatment I never got the chance to see the dentist.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE! this place is a SCAM!! I got braces back in 2022-2024 i was on a payment plan and paid ON TIME EVERYTIME. Even after removing my braces i still paid on time. My last payment was suppose to be on April 2025 FINALLY. I called the customer service line to ensure the payment amount so i can have it ready for them they confirm it would be $151.00 right before hanging up they proposed a ( pay right now and get a discount) i agreed & scheduled a call back. Once they called me back they mention that due to a “SPECIAL extra TREATMENT” they have added a $500 extra fee to my acc. After being transferred to 4 different people no one could figure out the “ special extra treatment” after the 5th person she magically found out its (“interest”) and COULD NOT explain to me how i got it. in my contract interest was already INCLUDED and in my payment plan. They refuse to remove it and now i have to pay $500 EXTRA that i dont have. Whats more upsetting is them telling me on my LAST PAYMENT. Because after 3 years of being their customer they decided that they “JUST” remembered that they needed to add it. HORRIBLE PLACE.

Negative experience: We arrived 15 minutes early for a 1:30 appointment, didn't even get acknowledged when we signed in. Sat down with my daughter a waited, room was full of kids and moms. We were there for over an hour, 45 minutes past the appointment time. We just got up and left. Not the first time for this, but they need to understand customer service and respect for ones time. If going to be late, just communicate.

Negative experience: Having an appointment time means nothing as they enjoy overbooking, prescriptions may or may not be called in. A few team members are nice and their care shows in their bedside mannor, sadly the majority are abrasive and it creates a negative experience overall

Negative experience: Got there 30 mins before our appointment and waited 3 HOURS before they told us that they mixed up doctors and we could either pay with cash or drive an hour and a half at 9 in the morning the next day to another office. They would not cooperate when it came to insurance and refused to speak with us 90% of the time to even resolve anything. The place was packed because they clearly overbooked and people were begging to know anything and if they would even get in to even be seen at all. I will not ever be returning and I dont recommend doing business with them unless you’d want to waste a whole day in an uncomfortable waiting chair.

Positive experience: I think y’all overbook your patients making them wait for over hour and half for scheduled appointments. It’s not fair to the patients. I really like the people that work for here though.

Negative experience: Worse place ever my mom lost a crown about a month ago a crown that’s not even 6 months old! She went back to get it resolved and now they won’t see her they been giving her the run around for 2 weeks already! She went to ask for a temp crown atlease and the lady in the front just told her blunt no asked for a manager they refused they won’t even works around her schedule A TEMP CROWN ANY DA CAN DO IN LESS THAN 4 minutes ! but the hurry to clock out is stronger than the willing to help out their patients ! SHAME OM THE STAFF

Negative experience: It's very ridiculous the amout of wait time that takes them to even get you in a room why give people appointment time if you get them in 2hrs after time not even counting what you wait after that very rude employees they act like their bored at life definitely changing to a different dentist where my money its worthy will neverrrrrr return to this location

The girl at the front desk always looks unhappy & miserable. Every time I call the office they NEVER pick up & I always get sent to customer service. If I could leave anything less than a 1 ⭐️ I would. I can go on but I’ll just leave it at that. Good luck.

Negative experience: Not a very good facility. Make you wait beyond your appointment time. The receptionist didn't seem to care to much about the wait time. Apparently only having 1 dentist on duty and had 5-7 patients already in the back. I do not recommend this facility at all. An appointment is an appointment for a reason. This would be my first time going to the facility. The atmosphere wasn't pleasant either.

Fantastic experience: After years in Arkansas with no help we came in today just expecting a consultation only to be greeted with the friendliest of staff that showed us genuine care and worked with my budget and down payment yo get my baby fixed up! After years of her not being confident of her beauty because of her smile she will now have the beautiful smile she has always wanted thanks to brident dental of alvin. Thank you guys for everything you have just made this mama’s heart swell a little bit more and have definitely put a smile back on my baby’s face!

Negative experience: Front office lady was extremely rude and dismissive. Scheduling is a nightmare, call center and office obviously do not communicate or inform each other of in office practices/preferences. Had to drive a distance to get there only to be told we would have to reschedule because their lunch was coming up. Kind of feels like if you have a community health plan they think they can treat you like you are beneath them. But really that front lady needs a serious attitude adjustment.

Negative experience: Horrible, horrible horrible would never recommend this place to anyone! Entire staff and receptionist is so slow not to mention their entire rooms were filthy and disgusting. You would think going somewhere to get dental work. The rooms would be spic and span, but they were nasty and dirty.

Negative experience: Went in to have my tooth pulled and start an implant. Was originally told it would cost me out of pocket just over $1100 but I could get financed. Nothing wrong with my bones or jaw and the dentist supposedly had to put extra material to “lift” the implant? I have had an implant done before and my out of pocket cost was less than $300!! So total cost once all was said and done was over $2k. I can’t really go back in and say take it out! I feel they over charge and don’t tell their patients everything!! Look elsewhere for dental care! Edit: if I could give 0 stars I would. Something felt off about what I was being told so I got a second opinion. Turns out the “sinus lift” was never done! Brident charged me for a service that was not done. I took a copy of my CT scan in to prove to them that they were charging me incorrectly. I haven’t heard a peep from them since. Don’t trust this office!

Fantastic experience: The Dr. was so nice and gental with my mouth she explained everything to where I could understand what the problems were and the financial lady (sorry I forgot her name) was just as nice and explanatory we came up with a GREAT financial plan that won't break my pocket so I would have to say this is my Dentist office from now on
