Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this office! Front desk lady answered all my questions about my dental insurance. They took pictures of my teeth and I could so clearly what was going on. The dentist and the hygienist were both very patient to me. I felt very comfortable and safe with them as they helped me understand very clearly what I need to make my teeth get better.

Negative experience: If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. When they tell you that the main Dr is taking time off for other things do not believe it. Check the state dental board and you can see his license is suspended. Makes me wonder for what and why he is still in the office when he isn’t supposed to be.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to Dentist For Life in Marysville Ohio and it was a great experience! I had to take my 3 kiddos with me and they put on SpongeBob (per my kids request lol) to try and keep them entertained while I got a cleaning. All the ladies I was in contact with were super friendly and understanding of my kiddos. Overall cleaning went amazing! I was nervous since I hadn't been to the dentist in like 15 years but they removed the hard plaque behind my front bottom teeth perfectly they were reassuring and described to me best ways to keep ahead of it without making me feel embarrassed or unknowledgeable. I have my 6 month cleaning scheduled and I will be making appointments for my kiddos as well ☺️ I highly recommend them for sure.

Positive experience: I came here over a year ago to have a root canal and saw Dr Doan. He was really kind and put me at ease and took the time to explain everything. The staff were great too. I went this past week because my tooth cracked. I couldn’t tell you who I saw because no one introduced themselves. Nothing was explained. I need a crown but no one really told me what the next steps were… When I checked out I was asked what was next. I said I really didn’t know because no one said what was going on but I needed a crown. She said ok I’ll call you. It was the most bizarre office experience I’ve ever had. No one speaking to you. Telling you what to do after the procedure. Anything. I think one of the assistants laughed at me when I was speaking but I’m not 100% sure. I felt really uncomfortable after that. Now that the numbness has gone away my filling feels very clumpy, rough like and Emery board and sharp. It’s not smooth like a tooth should be nor does it feel like my previous filling. It’s like a box.. I’m a nurse and I work in a specialty office setting. I don’t know if this was an off day. I don’t know if the girl was laughing at me or what else she could have been but it was very unprofessional and mean girl behavior if she was. I would highly recommend Dr Doan but if the assistant is with both Drs ehh.

Fantastic experience: I am very anxious about new doctors and first appointments after a very poor experience. I went in to my appointment today with butterflies in my stomach. Who wouldn’t be nervous about going to the dentist though. I was welcomed by the receptionist first she was so kind, she got me checked in and got my insurance situation sorted. Next was the dental hygienist, who actually listened to me and my concerns and took notes. She was exceptionally gentle and thorough. Then I met the dentist who was very knowledgeable and honestly reassured me about my concerns. This appointment was actually not scary at all. I am so sad I put this off for so long. If only I would’ve known how amazing this experience would be I would have made this appointment long ago.

Fantastic experience: I went in with a lot of dental anxiety, my last dentistry office was a training school. That being said, I really liked the staff and doctor. Everyone was very nice, and everyone was gentle. I have an infected tooth and I was dreading being touched there, but they were about as pain free as could be. I summary, the staff is very nice, the dentist was very nice and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I arrived nothing but smiles and professionalism. Wait time for both visits was under ten minutes. The assistant was amazing and very thorough. Seen two different Dentist and both was awesome. Ask and showed real compassion and concern for my issues. Was only in the chair for a cleaning and a tooth extracted. Both times I was amazed at how quickly I was able to leave with a feeling of gratitude for there excellent service.

I had a lot of conflicts with my scheduling and they never once got impatient with me worked with me didn't tell me I couldn't come back and every time it was very professional I'm getting a set of dentures made which I've had done at other dentist before but their process has been amazing it's different than anything I've seen definitely recommend checking them out you will be satisfied

Negative experience: I filed a complaint to the dental board, and Attorney General. Watch your billing and report this office! They do not tell you of any extra services they do, and they will try and overcharge/do more than your insurance will approve. This is a fact, and the office knows they are doing these things. They take multiple (more than allowed by insurance) X-rays, and say they do this to see what will get paid by insurance. This is what’s wrong with healthcare services, they try to gouge the patient and insurance. Get all the details ahead of time, in an email, recorded call, or writing - if you absolutely have to go here. Otherswise, find an honest doctor, and go somewhere that will do what insurance has pre-approved. DO NOT TRUST this place! Watch your billing like a hawk, many others are complaining about their billing in the reviews! Don’t let them scam you! They’ll probably post some generic billing lie response - but trust the people that are speaking up and aware they are overcharging!

Fantastic experience: Although it had been many years since I had seen a dentist… I’m very well pleased with the quality of care I have been receiving with Dentists for Life. The friendliness of the staff, the in depth explanations and the sparkling clean of the various rooms make it a very comfortable place to go.

Negative experience: So I hate to do this but I don’t have a choice. I have a fatal lung disease (they know about it and no one ever knows if there sick so I get sick a lot so would call off same day ) also they also knew from the start how long it took me to find a dentist and try my hardest to go after neglecting my self for 15 years the reason why is because I am medically disabled with having agoraphobia. I talked to them about this before I even came and there’s some days I could do it with encouragement my husband helping and prayer. Even regarding my own family doctor by law, she did not kick me out due to missing appointments so we do telehealth and I at least have to go once or twice a year but this Place knew this about me. I asked so many questions because I was scared. we also are very low income so the days I missed my husband missed Because we don’t have the gas to go back-and-forth, we live in Richwood Like I said before I was a patient they knew all this about me. I was trying my hardest and doing my best of going example. I’ve needed to get CAT scans done and waited over two years to do it because of me being. Medically disabled. Also, this is before I even wanted to reach out and say anything, but I had to ask 1 million questions because the nurses nor the doctor never told me what we were doing work would get done and I would never know what I’m going back for or my husband, so I had to ask a lot of questions over the phone They may have had to repeat it several times because when you have a agoraphobia, you have social anxiety I will say that there’s no friendly nurse that I have met there. It seems like it’s only a business. They don’t talk to you and then I really like the dentist until the front desk told me it’s his decision of kicking me out And I said does he know about my lung disease and that I’m medically Disabled, I was told yes he was aware of all that I don’t know if he was or not. I believe if he didn’t know that by law, he cannot kick me out. Another doctor got fired for this same exact thing discrimination against handicap people I do like the actual male Dentist. With me having an agoraphobia and then nurses just treating me the way they did definitely did not calm me down. My legs would literally shake the whole time. I’m getting work done. My agoraphobia is even worse and in the beginning two of the Ladies that sit up front We really nice. But then I could tell that I was being talked about which is wrong in a workplace. Trust me there’s many other places that will take you in your insurance so you can feel comfortable. Most Everybody is afraid the denist You will not feel comfortable here and because of their policy if you have been to miss appointments because of a lung disease you may have and had no idea it was going to flare up then that will count against you if you’re medically handicap that will count against you when it comes to the rules of missed appointments. Every doctors office has a plan for somebody who is handicap whether it’s actually in a wheelchair handicap or Mental Health handicap. This place does not care and does not think about that person who’s trying their hardest to do what needs done and that has been scared for so long over a decade again they knew all of this. I asked them to talk to the dentist several times they claim they did and they claim they told him all of this about me. They claimed he is the one that said discharge her And her husband Definitely don’t feel like he was informed

Fantastic experience: He stayed Past his schedule to make sure my tooth was fixed that same day. He's honestly the best dentist in town. He seems like a pretty normal guy. He doesn't give me the creeps like A few other dentists in town which I shall not name. The Assistants are really nice too. If you have anxiety like I do, this is the dentist you need.

Negative experience: Main doctor extracted a molar a few years ago when I was pregnant. Hurt so bad I was crying and putting my hand up for him to take a break and he just said it’s almost out. To this day I still have dental anxiety and haven’t been able to face my fear of going back after that.

They had absolutely no regard for her being scared, he told her she didn't have have an infection but give her antibiotics, he was rude, condescending and had no interest in helping her. He has no business in this profession. I wouldn't take my dog to this place let alone recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Dentist cleaning was done very professionally, always a great experience with this dentist. As for the office manager/ staff, a very poor experience. I had an appointment two weeks prior, showed up for my appointment and found the door was locked, no prior call explaining or to reschedule. Found out doctors was on vacation about two weeks later when office called to let me know I had an outstanding bill, bill was from dentist no longer being in network with my insurance. Dentist takes my insurance but at only 80 percent now. Never a notification that an outstanding balance existed even from the last two cleanings. For this reason I changed to a new dentist. Office manager lied to my face twice, saying they called to reschedule my appointment and the second time saying they sent me a bill. On each account I verified they lied. I have all of my received calls from the dentist office, non found showing they tried to call. Verified with the post office if a bill was sent during the time period they claim, pulled pictures of my mail sent out from the post office during this time period, no such bill showing from this dentist office.

Negative experience: Ive been going to this dentist with no issues for 6 years. I just removed myself as a patient because the staff member who called me today to confirm my appt was the rudest person I've ever encountered! Who cares if I have dentaquest marketplace insurance? I'm an independent contractor and that's the insurance I chose. I can pay my bill there without worry. To huff and be rude then tell me I didnt call to schedule a filling that fell out but a cleaning and they wouldn't have time to do the filing! Why would I give 2 cents about a cleaning when I have a filling that fell out! The huffing and condescending demeanor was disgusting. My husband who is a Veteran went in a few months back as a cash patient and the dentist saw him with no charge and thanked him for his service. The front desk upon check out was rude and questioned the doctor about a no charge. Sweethearts..this isn't your practice..you dont own it yet youre literally driving away patient's because you dont know proper etiquette when it comes to patient care! Sad because the dentists are amazing.

From a tooth extraction to dentures if needed. Cromwell actually sent me to a dentist here in Marysville to have a tooth removed bc they do not extract teeth. I thought that was a given for a dentist to do? Anyway if you need a great dentist office this is one.

Negative experience: Dentist is amazing, however his office staff are lacking compassion and customer service, I waited 6 months for an app. After calling multiple times and first they didn't have the supplies to put me to sleep sent me email with paperwork to fill out 3 months after so I filled it out to do a different type sedation bc they couldn't get supplies then waited 3 more months called and as long I did it without sedation at all they scheduled me for another 6 weeks out then called for an early app due to cancelation and gave me 10min to take it for the following morning (I live an hr away and single mother of 3 children) im healing extremely well and again the Dentist is amazing but office staff are unpleasant to speak with and don't care about the patients

Negative experience: I didn’t want to do this but me and my sister have had bad experiences with the workers and how the front desk employees treated us. 1. The people at the front desk were making fun of us because of our insurance and their policies. 2. They got mad that my sister had a tooth infection from them. they got mad over an Emergency appointment for the tooth that they got infected. 3. They did a root canal on me and they couldn’t get all the roots because of how my teeth are but then they just filled it and sent me home. And just a little over a year later I now have a horrible tooth infection. And it hurts to move my mouth.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by a friend to this dentist. The staff actually let me come back with my friend during one of his appointments and get a feel for things. All staff is very friendly and the clinic itself is very clean. I also like that they provide glasses during your appt. to help with the light while you’re in the chair. They also have a tv set up in the rooms so you can watch a movie while you wait on the dentist. I was told I couldn’t get a partial from other dentists and dentist for life has made this an option for me. I’m very pleased and referred my father here also!

Very accommodating, as well! Scheduled extractions, did a cleaning today. First cleaning I've ever had that didn't hurt at all... I don't know if that says more about the staff here, or about my prior experiences, but either way it's a MASSIVE improvement. This dentist had 4 broken teeth to work around, so he had wiggle room for some soreness that I was anticipating- But nope, no pain during the cleaning, no pain after. Consider me impressed, so far!

I switched them after so many other dentists gave us the run around with our fosters children and I haven’t been disappointed for them or myself. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: My procedure was my worst nightmare but I got through thanks to their help. Wish they had laughing gas instead of the needles in my mouth

Negative experience: Unpleasant, unsatisfied, and uncomfortable. They told me what I had to do or receive nothing . Also if I wanted to do as they recommended it would take 6 plus months for my dentures. I have no teeth for my upper plate and that's all I wanted. I waited 45 days to be told that. Rusty Jordan.

Fantastic experience: I had a previous dentist that made me feel like they never wanted to take the time to do what was best for me overall and would take the easiest and most damaging (for me and my teeth) way out. My experience here has been 100% different. It always has felt like they are taking the time to do what was best for me overall even if it took more time and never make me feel like I’m burdening them. All of the dental hygienists are friendly and sweet as well which is such a plus. I would highly recommend this office!
