Fantastic experience: The kids are treated well. I’m made aware of proposed treatment planning and given time to review and schedule. Staff was friendly and accommodating

Negative experience: Will not recommend this place to anyone. I went in for a cavity and filling, and after I paid I started experiencing pain. I didn't have pain before the filling. The dentist must have damaged my nerve. Only to be told now I would need a root canal or extraction. This business tricked me into getting some money instead of really wanting to fix and save my tooth. That's a dentist for you! This office is not a clean one. No one monitors the waiting room. Long wait times. It's not really professional here, maybe due it being an office for kids mainly. The hygienists look like kids themselves.

Negative experience: The Dentist took our money and refused service Milk tooth extraction She said SHE IS NOT A LICENSED DENTIST AND SHE CAN DO IT !!! SHE SAUD WE ARE DOING IT BUT I AM NOT LICENSED AND THEN THEY TOLD US TO LEAVE

Negative experience: We had an appointment. Upon arrival, they said we had not confirmed it (though we had through the service number). They offered to work us in anyway. Showed updated orders from the referring orthodontist. After waiting over 4 hours, was told they would not be able to do the procedure now or in the future since their initial consult went with my personal thoughts, despite me not being a licensed health provider. Also, I have been receiving a number of calls from this company to schedule my sons for cleanings despite me telling them we are not interested. It is verging on harassment. Find anywhere else for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: The women there were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming! My son usually goes to Franklin Dental in Macon, but he had his appointment here this time. I asked if the two locations were connected, and they are. It was really nice to have the staff be knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. Most importantly, my son really enjoyed his visit and the services he received. Overall, we had a great experience!

Negative experience: Highly dissatisfied and terrible service. Everyone walked around with attitudes and faces frowned up. Front office staff all had attitudes. The Caucasian lady who cleaned my Son’s teeth used the same gloves as she did on someone else next to him but I noticed at the last minute. I’m actually sick to my stomach thinking about it. First and last visit!!

Fantastic experience: Typically busy..... Sometimes the wait is a bit much but that's understandable and expected they serve a lot of children!!! Their staff is always professional,courteous and friendly... This is the only dentist my kids have ever went to!!! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: The team was friendly professional and fast. They were patient with my child because he can be a bit of hassle when getting anything done to his teeth. They made him feel comfortable and listened to him when he voiced otherwise. The entire team were on point and made a lasting impression on me and my child.

Negative experience: They say get there 15 minutes early only for your kids to sit in the back for an hour before they get seen… They put everyone appointments around the same time so I don’t think my kids will go back…

Positive experience: I live about 45-50 minutes away from youth dentistry and if you one minute late they won't see you and that's a long way to go just not to get your appointment even if they're not ready when you get there they still won't see you.

Negative experience: Went here in January of this year to get a full extraction. 4 months later I went to go get fitted for dentures and was told I have to pay 3,000 dollars to get my bones shaved down because the doctor at this location did not complete the surgery on my mouth. Now I'm stuck with no teeth, no money for the bone shaving, and no money for the dentures. Worst experience of my life. I don't recommend this place. Also they scheduled my autistic son for a procedure and told me the day of they had to reschedule because they didn't have the medicine for him. They are unorganized, unprofessional and I also don't recommend Franklin Dental either they both are terrible.

Negative experience: After waiting an hour and a half AFTER our appointment time they call me to the front desk and say I'm sorry, can we reschedule you for tomorrow. We had an "ACCIDENT" that we can't disclose any information about what happened and we are closing for the rest of the day and making everyone exit the building. So there is no telling what happened for them to empty the building and close like that. They did something messed up they wasn't supposed to do to a child because they "wouldn't tell any information". I'm sorry no I don't want to make another appointment I will just go to a new dentist. That freaked me out for sure wondering all the horrible things that possibly could have happened. I waited literally 4 hours just to go to the back last time we was there. They said they misplaced our folder. The place is filthy also. The chairs in the waiting room are literally black from all the dirt. You can tell they never sweep or mop because even the exam surgery rooms are filthy.

Negative experience: Crazy i just booked an appointment for my baby for today we even got a text reminder, when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying closed. Called to see what was going on and got hung up on good thing we know before we even went in how unprofessional and rude they are. Wasted time and gas for nothing

Fantastic experience: The visit this morning was very quick and fast.

Negative experience: I am currently a patient at Youth Dentistry, and one thing that I will say… timing is a very big issue in this facility. I was supposed to get my appliance in February-March for my braces, it is now July 9… still no new spacers, one bracket missing, obnoxious glue drops on the bottom of my teeth that were supposed to prevent me from chipping my bottom teeth on my upper brackets, didn’t work, I now have chipped teeth, I did let them know and no I did not get anything else done or fixed after that, they just looked and said “yeah I can see that”. I don’t even know my orthodontist’s actual name, I think it’s Dr. Alverez? Not sure.. but he lied to me about my appliance, his assistant did not put the brackets on the right teeth, and my mom has been paying $250 a month for 5 months now and still no progress on my teeth! This genuinely makes me sad, because if you didn’t want to help me with my biggest insecurity (my crooked teeth and uneven jaw), then you guys could have just transferred me to another facility and not wasted my moms money, I feel like a financial burden because of THEIR actions and not doing what they said they would. I just have brackets sitting on my teeth and these big glue drops caving into my upper teeth. The office management also told my mom that my orthodontist switched offices to Atlanta, but when I went to get a cleaning I seen him walking around, looking down as if he didn’t want to look me in the face. They also cancelled my appointment as soon as I arrived even after I showed that we did indeed confirm the appointment the night before. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should switch to?

Fantastic experience: Awesome dentist. The only dentist that has ever cleaned my non verbal son teeth while he was awake ! Very patient & good ! I definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly,. professional and prompt. I thought that it was going to be a long visit because I had my 5 kids scheduled for the same day, and it did not take long at all. The staff worked very effectively and I didn't have to ask about my concerns because they took care of it and scheduled a future appointment. Great place :)

Fantastic experience: Our experience today was good. The hygienist understood our concerns and my daughter was very pleased with the doctor today. We received service at a decent time frame. We were done within a hour. The customer service was good as well.

Negative experience: You are sitting in the waiting room for 2-3 hours literally. During the wait time more and more people come in and the lobby gets full. As it is getting full of course their isn’t any more chairs, nor do the receptionist try to come out and accommodate you with more chairs so you’re left either standing up or sitting on the floor. While people complain and talk mess about waiting.its annoying. I’m so confused as to why schedule that many people all at the same time? This is not the first, second or third time I’ve sat here for hours. Those other reviews were probably asked to say that because nope.The setting of the building is very outdated and the atmosphere is uncomfortable. I will be switching immediately. Just because it’s a place that accepts Medicaid doesn’t mean people have to be serviced like they are low income because all of aren’t. Probably one of the worse dentist offices I’ve ever been too.

Negative experience: They don’t let u know how much u have to pay before you come to the office. They have really bad customer service. I don’t recommend them to nobody

Negative experience: The first visit was good but the second visit was a whole other vibe. (Tooth extraction)Waited 3 hours to be called to the back and waited another 30 minutes when I finally saw a dentist enter another patients room shortly after I heard a teen crying out in pain followed by the dentist voice saying you should’ve feel any pain and since the girl never stopped screaming after a good 10 minutes, I got me and my kid out of there. Honestly I didn’t feel comfortable from the time I got there. The paperwork they had me fill out didn’t have certain important information on it and when I asked about it, it just seemed as if I was getting on the receptionist nerves. Then the young man that took us in the back didn’t make it any better. This place feels like the last resort to me.

Fantastic experience: I love this office . My daughter’s Ortho Care has been outstanding ! The whole process has been great . The staff is great and Dr.V is definitely a superhero in disguise. My daughter’s Braces Journey has been nothing short of amazing . They keep you in the loop of everything through the entire process . I definitely recommend !

Negative experience: You need to wait a lot time. many hours without attending to you.

Negative experience: Wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life. They told me they were gonna take care of my son’s cavities today then they pushed it off because they were behind. My daughter was so over it by the time we finally got seen that she had a meltdown and didn’t even get her teeth clean. I’m so upset. We will be finding a new dentist who’s properly staffed

Fantastic experience: Does Savannah smiles offer adult Medicaid insured patients for cleanings? I do know that Augusta smiles does not offer adult Medicaid insurance patients! Also, Augusta Smiles does not offer wisdom teeth removal so we were referred to an Oral Surgeon for my 16-year-old son who has braces! Negative experience: HORRIBLE! I have been trying to get in contact with the dental office and everytime no one answers. The customer service rep even stated she has been trying to call all day for other patients and no one answers. That’s terrible! You guys are in the hospitality industry but no one will answer for there patients. 0/10

Fantastic experience: I took My Grandson Jabari there for a 4 o’clock appointment. We got there at 3:45. We went straight back. They took x-rays they taught to him. They cleaned his teeth. They made an appointment for next time and we were out of there and no time that staff was very polite and nice.. My Grandson was at ease enjoyed having his teeth cleaned, wasn’t nervous. It was a very great experience for us. we will be going back. I even made an appointment for myself even though they do children. They also do adults

Negative experience: This place is horrible. I wish I could give no stars. They schedule too many patients at one time when they are always short staffed.

Negative experience: What a horrible place. My dental provider called them to see if they do emergency dental services. Why, yes, they do. I call them up and speak to guy 1. Tell him the plan I have and that they don't accept it. I call the dental insurance provider back and am told it doesn't matter. I call this joint back and now I'm speaking to some guy that I couldn't catch his name. I tell him what I was told by the insurance provider supervisor as far as how this works. He asks if this is medicaid or commercial insurance. He acts like he doesn't understand English very well. He says he'll transfer me. I'm put on hold, it goes to a recording and hangs up on me. I call back yet again and am put on hold with no one answering for ten minutes. Even if the front desk was busy, you'd think someone would come on to say hold please or a recording would come on. From The first two calls, I gather that they didn't want to do it. This is after the insurance provider supervisor had called them. So, no they don't do all procedures. Yes, they are rude. No, they're not professional. Yes, avoid them.

Negative experience: The location sucks they are not organized and over booked they don’t take care of children. Had problems with child getting brace and can’t keep up with contract my can’t get brace on bottom and then it a a problem every time we go to handle anything for my child.

Positive experience: First, let me start off my saying they have a new dentist. They do good work also. The issue is the wait time. Be prepared to wait 3 hours for a scheduled appointment. People will come in after you, and leave before you, depending on their service. Make sure you eat and have something for entertainment. Secondly, they schedule dental appointments 3 to 4 months out for dental work. Be aware they will call to reschedule appointment times the day before the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Really love Dr. V. He’s a fantastic orthodontist. His staff is friendly and efficient. We have two assistant that we see, Yazz and Chelsea and my daughter loves them both. It’s never an anxious visit. She looks forward to going every time. Thank you for the exceptional care you provide. Our family will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had to have an old root canal extracted Dr. Daniel and his assistant were Amazing they talked me threw the whole thing and I had a panic attack and a lady I don’t know her name came like an Angel and calmed me I thank you so much you know who you are and you are a blessing to the team! Negative experience: I arrived at my appointment scheduled for today arrived at the location and inside the door at 11:00am . After a few seconds of waiting behind a gentleman and his son. I was told at check in I was late and would have to reschedule at a later time . Decline to reschedule and will not be bringing my child to any of the locations . Do not recommend.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. The amount of 5-star reviews is honestly laughable. Either they’re fake or written by people who work here, because nothing about this place deserves praise. I had my wisdom teeth removed and the entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. The wait times were beyond ridiculous, and patients are clearly not respected here at all. Adults should not be treated this way, and children definitely should not. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. I will never be back.

Positive experience: Getting service here takes way longer than expected. One hour is fine for just cleaning including waiting time. But 2 or more hours are absurd.

Negative experience: They couldn't fill all my son's cavities due to "machine not working". They didn't even have the decency to tell me this information. Instead they sent my son to tell me with his mouth swollen and holding an appointment card to come back. Very unprofessional!

Negative experience: Please don’t bring your kids here. My child appointment was scheduled for 9 am and it’s 10 am and we are still waiting to be seen for a cleaning. They always schedule too many people at one time and they don’t care if people wait for hours. I will be finding a new dentist today.

Negative experience: Terrible service. They do not provide much information on toddlers oral health. They overbook appointments crowded waiting area. Not good especially with RSV and cold season. No private rooms therefore you can hear everyone information. Not returning.

Negative experience: Came in for my son's appointment we waited 3 hours in the lobby, then they moved us to wait another hr(for teeth cleaning). Been waiting on a call for my son's fillings for 5 months, I went in to ask why its taking so long they told me basically to wait until I get a call, it could take longer. Waist of time and im switching his dentist myself. SEND YOUR KIDS SOMEWHERE THAT CARES.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff were very friendly and on point with school notes and work excuses. They made sure we left with everything we needed. The person who worked on my teeth and my son’s teeth was very informative and gentle. They even helped me find another dentist because I wanted my tooth pulled sooner. They also gave my son sight words to say and practice.

Negative experience: The wait time of this establishment is beyond ridiculous! My appointment was at 3:30 it was 5pm when i decided to just leave and find another provider. What’s the point of making appointments if you can’t abide by the time slots set ? I could’ve stayed at work and still made it to her appointment on time.

Negative experience: Was not satisfied and will not be bringing the kids back to you people so do not bother to call me or text me thank you. The hygienist that Cole had I feel that she did not do her best with Cole so I was very unpleased she did not ask any questions about him or anything so no I will not be bringing Cole or Elizabeth Milligan back. Was there for over 2 hours and then when Cole was seen they didn't even do a single thing to him because they said that they couldn't get no pictures because he wouldn't sit still and put the microphone in his mouth so they didn't do no cleanings no nothing to him so like I said I won't be going back 2 hours wasted not as anything done

Fantastic experience: We have had such a great experience! My daughter had a previous terrible experience at another dental office! The staff at Youth Dentistry of Macon have made sure she has been taken extra Care for her anxiety and talking her through the process. Very Happy! The only complaint is THE ANSWERING SERVICE, They don't really know what's going on! Please make some adjustments to be able to talk to someone AT THE OFFICE.

Negative experience: Although the staff are very friendly and helpful it is very challenging to get in touch with a receptionist or staff at the front desk. Several times, my call has been routed to the call center. They can’t help outside of scheduling issues. It’s frustrating at times when all I want is to speak with someone to help with a simple question!

Negative experience: ️HORRIBLE. They overbook. Your appointment is at 8 and your child is not seen until 10, they want you on time but have not courtesy for yours. Same paperwork is given each visit with no updates, same incorrect info as before and I was told they have months of info to update they are backlogged then what is the point? Staff is nice nasty and gossips more than they provide service. Switching providers today!

Negative experience: Staff is nice but the wait time is AWFUL!! Our appointment was at 8am and my children weren’t taken back until 10am!! We were there for over 3 hrs!!

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the anesthesia team and office for accommodating both my children at 6am. After all paperwork was completed we were seen in timely manner. Communication was clear. Answers were provided. Support and encouragement was felt. My babies came out of anesthesia well so I’m just grateful for the care. As a mom, it can be nerve wracking to see your kids not themselves—I highly recommend. Hopefully no more major work. I will do my due diligence to keep their smiles bright. Until next time. Negative experience: Staff is always nice but the wait time has gotten terrible. I never waited for more than 30 minutes to get called to the back....now over the past few months I wait in the lobby for over an hour and a half before getting called to the back. I guess they are over booking themselves but it has gotten ridiculous.

Negative experience: I have been going to Youth Dentistry of Macon since I was a child, and naturally brought my children here too. When it came time for their braces, I trusted the same office with their orthodontic care. I enrolled through the payment plan they offered and told me was compassionate and lenient. Due to some missed payments during a hard time, my children were temporarily unable to be seen. I did everything I could to fix that. I got the money together and paid off the balance over $3,500 with the understanding that we could resume regular treatment. They were seen at the next scheduled appointment. But when I tried to schedule the next follow-up, I was told my children couldn’t be seen unless I paid an additional $3,000. I have called, left messages, and even gone up to the office in person trying to get answers. Still, I’ve received no real help or compassion. The only “option” I was given? Either pay again, or pay $250 per child to have their braces removed — wasting all the time, money, and effort I already invested. I am hurt, disappointed, and financially drained from trying to make sure my kids received proper dental care. I did my part. And now my children’s treatment is being held hostage by hidden fees, poor communication, and a complete lack of empathy. This is not just poor service — it’s unethical. Especially for a business that markets to families and children. I write this not just out of frustration, but to warn others: be careful, ask for everything in writing, and understand that once they have your money, you may be left without support if anything goes wrong. Reply to the comment left by owner: So once again you left me a number to someone who can’t help me so I’ll just take legal action going forward. Because no one has called me yet on this matter. Only given me the run around. Highly unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I love the way Dr. V and Jessica sat and talked with us, listen to us, even allowed my 15 year old grandson to ask several questions. We discussed several different avenues of care and concerns for him. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic experience: This is hands down The Best Dentist you could find. They're so understanding and knowledgeable about Orthodontics its amazing. All five of my children are so please with their plans and work. Bring your babies!!

Negative experience: If I could leave negative stars I would. The 1st issue is that they gave me a referral to contact a dentist office in the neighboring city,to have my kid put to sleep. Once, I did they said that they should have done it and theirs a process for it. I contacted them and spoke to their call center because evidently there's no way to contact them directly. Get to the next cleaning appointment right before school starts,and they are so packed people were standing up. Appointment was at 9:30 and they finally called us back at 11:30 and said that I would have to go somewhere else because tho this was her 3rd time they needed x-rays before. Then,when I said why no one told me,I was blamed for not saying anything before instead of just sitting there. The gag is I told the receptionist when I checked in and was told they would have it after the fact.

Negative experience: Staff does not communicate well. Also, was suppose to have prescriptions sent to pharmacy, they never got sent. I called for three days and could not reach anyone. Mix up with appointments as well causing us to sit there for over 4 hours.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Experience! From beginning to end to end, thanks to every one that was involved in my daughter's care today. Everyone was so nice. Enjoyed my visit today.

Fantastic experience: My daughter have been going to Youth Dentistry for over 3 years, could me more, not really sure. But anyway, we were there over 2 hours. Usually the morning appointments be sort of fast, as she went in for a cleaning. After the process I was told that she has 5 cavities, so she goes back on 8/15
