Experiencia negativa: Was good till he dropped my insurance and my teeth rotted. Didn't know who to go to... went to Dr.Vertin most of my life. Now I have a loose piece of tooth floating and many cavitys because they choose to drop my insurance. Before that had bothing but good things to say about the office. Why not just go somewhere else? ADHD and OCD reason's. Your greed caused my rot.

The office is contemporary decorated with black white photos of Detroit through out, open space, organized, clean and extremely comfortable. Dr Vertin has put together a team of excellent professionals who make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door by greeting you by name. There is never a wait when I come to my appointments and I have complete confidence that they will take care of my dental needs. Lastly I sometimes feel my self tapping my toes to the music I hear playing in the background because I'm so comfortable. You want the best , make an appointment and check it out for your self!

Experiencia negativa: I unfortunately did not have a positive experience in regards to my recent dental appointment. I was seen by Dr.Vertin for pain with my wisdom tooth. Dr.Vertin advised that it would be best to remove the wisdom tooth. Dr.Vertin performed the wisdom tooth extraction and while doing so he advised me that he hit a crown on one of my other teeth and that it landed on the floor. He stated he could secure the crown back without any problems. Once the extraction was completed I was told to take Tylenol & Motrin for pain This extraction took place on 3/4/2025 and each day following my pain level continued to increase. I went back to Dr.Vertins office on 3/6/2025 in regards to the extreme pain I was experiencing and was told I was experiencing a dry socket. Dr.Vertin told me that sometimes that can happen, but I was very concerned with the amount pain I was experiencing and asked if I needed a antibiotic. Ultimately I was prescribed a antibiotic as well as pain medicine. By 3/8/2025 I was in so much pain I went to the hospital. I called the after hours number for Dr.Vertin explaining that some else is wrong other than a dry socket as no medication was helping with the pain, Dr.Vertin simply said he was sorry about what I was going through and that was it. Never recommend another x-ray or another exam to see if I had a infection. Dissatisfied with Dr.Vertin care is a understatement!! I would caution anyone who is in need of any type of oral surgery to get a second opinion. Clearly something went terribly wrong with my extraction. Since my experience I have been able to find an amazing oral surgeon who has determined I had developed a very bad infection. I am now being treated with the proper medication and care. I would have not even selected (1) star but I had to in order to leave my review.
