Experiencia fantástica: Went here for my 6 year olds first filling. The staff here is incredibly nice and attentive. I was nervous about the numbing process and how it would affect his view of the dentist office. They were awesome!! Dr. Mike used his “freeze ray” we were in and out and my son LOVES the dinosaur theme (and getting to watch Disney+ while in the chair). Very tasteful, clearly passionate about making it a great experience for the kids. I would highly recommend this office to my closest friends and family.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable and safe atmosphere for her. This is especially important for children who are apprehensive about dental visits. The office truly goes above and beyond to make patients feel at ease, which is a rare find in the dental field. We are fortunate to have such a great establishment in our area that we can bring our children to for their dental care.

Experiencia negativa: I have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield. The dentist office flat said that they refused to get in network with federal Blue Cross Blue Shield. Of all the federal employees that are here in southern Maine and all the employees that have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. This dentist office does not care about The cost to their customers. If you have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield, don’t go here cause they’re gonna charge you an arm and a leg.

Experiencia fantástica: We're very grateful to York County Pediatric Dentistry for helping us when our son injured his front tooth today -- New Years Day -- when all dentist offices are closed for the next 4 days. We couldn't get through to our normal dentist or any dentist in our area, so in desperation, I called York County Pediatric Dentistry 40 miles away, and Ms. Kayla could not have been more friendly, patient, and helpful as the on-call clinician. She looked at a picture of our son's injured tooth, told us what to do while we waited for him to be seen after the holiday weekend, and even offered to reach out to our son's regular dentist in Falmouth to give him a heads up about what had happened. Thank you so much, Ms. Kayla!

Experiencia fantástica: I found YCPD by researching the best pediatric dentist in Southern Maine. The good reviews were all correct! I drive an hour to get there because I wanted the best for my daughter. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming. They are patient with young kids and try to make it fun. We love the Dr Seuss murals too!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Gary was phenomenal. My son was a bit teary-eyed during a procedure and Dr. Gary, without hesitation, comforted my son. From a mother’s prospective, he acted like a grandfather and cheered him up and that meant the world to me and my son. That is top-notch care and exactly where I want my children to be for all their dental needs! The entire staff is amazing…friendly, very knowledgeable and will answer every single question you or your child has!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a non-binary person who is making the switch from pediatric to regular dentist pretty soon. I don’t make an effort to correct people when they use the wrong pronouns for me, simply because I’ve given up. I look like a girl, so people assume I am one. Dr.Mike used my correct pronouns immediately, meaning he either checked my file before coming to meet with me or simply remembered my preference. It nearly made me cry with happiness. The effort this team puts in to make their patients feel safe and cared for (even when they’re a little old for the Dr.Seuss mural) is positively overwhelming. I hope Dr.Mike can see this, because he absolutely made my day.

Experiencia fantástica: Best dentist is southern Maine, all the staff are super friendly and the dentist are knowledgeable and thorough! My kids love coming here, they have an arcade Pac-Man machine and give the kids coins for a prize at the end!

Experiencia fantástica: Our 1 month old went in for lip and tongue tie surgery and they were amazing. Very informative with the procedure and also checked up the same day and the day after. The doctor was fabulous and all his helpers it was quick and now we have a way happier baby that's able to eat properly now. We can't thank them all enough and will recommend to others for sure.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve always had great experiences here. We just had two appointments with Kaitlyn and I have to say she was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to really explain everything to my kids and answer all of their curious questions. She was patient and clear in explaining what she was doing each step of the way, she really put my nervous 7 year old at ease. It’s very clear she’s passionate about her career and is a natural with young kids which made for an overall great experience for our family!

My daughter and I are new patients and she experienced a dental emergency this past Friday. Harborside got us in quickly, assessed the situation and worked with YCPD to get her over there immediately. They all helped us avoid a truly serious situation.

Experiencia negativa: Left Many Years Ago due to scheduling conflicts, could never get regular pre scheduled appointments outside of school hours. Called asked for our records, gave up after 2 request. Years later they send a passive aggressive letter saying we aren’t patients anymore, signed for a dentist we never even saw in the first place. Jokes on them. They were never accommodating in the beginning.

Experiencia positiva: The hygienist and dentist were amazing with my 5 year old! Very patient, kind, and everything someone would look for in a pediatric dentist! My concern is with their “front end manager”. She was instructed to schedule a consultation with me to go over a few items. Anyways instead of her scheduling that for an appropriate time she printed off papers with the information and numbers that were not even accurate during check out. I had my child ready to leave and we were in a very exposed area I felt to be having the conversation she was trying to force on me at the time. Even after expressing concern to her she kept trying to push on.. She finally agreed to schedule the appointment for a time that I would be able to give her my undivided attention. Hopefully come that appointment there is a private space to talk about my child’s medical needs.

I was nervous that she wasn’t going to let anyone in her mouth to clean her teeth, but she quickly warmed up to Ms. Hollys fun loving personality! Experiencia fantástica: I am long overdue for writing this review! They deserve it, a hundred times over! HANDS DOWN the BEST dentist I have been to across states. The whole entire team is a blessing, from the assistants, wonderful ladies, to Dr Mike himself! That man. I trust him and his team completely with my childrens care! I personally have trauma when it comes to dentists, and they have been more then accepting and accommodating! They helped me to explain it so that my fears did not get projected to my girls. They take the very best care of my family when we are here and they deserve all the praise for it! I could go on amd on about them here, but please know and trust that if you are coming here, you are in the very best of hands! My husband who also has a fear of dentists was calm enough to even be in the room woth our daughters for cleanings and work that needed to be tended to! They are super quick and precise. Live them. Our 7yr old son has multiple disabilities and sensory issues and Dr Mike and his crew were AMAZING! When I told my husband about our experience I cried because of the love and care these people showed our son! There aren’t enough people like them in this world. When our son talked to people about their practice he yelled excitedly that he LOVED IT and that it was THE BEST!!! I am so glad that I asked around our small Maine town to find the best pediatric dentist because my two kids will go here from now until adulthood ❤️❤️
