Smiles by Myles

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles is outstanding. I came in for a routine cleaning and had a great experience. The cleaning was very thorough and comfortable, and the entire visit felt professional and easy. Simply the best!!

Experiencia negativa: ⭐ 1 Star — Very Disappointing Experience I purchased a Zoom whitening treatment through Groupon for this dental office, something I’ve done with other businesses before without any issues. Since I called over the weekend, I left a voicemail and received a call back the following business day. When I spoke with the receptionist, I explained that I wanted to schedule the Zoom whitening treatment and mentioned the Groupon offer. She initially told me, “No problem, just take a screenshot of the Groupon price and we’ll honor it.” I then clarified that I had already purchased the Groupon, and suddenly the response changed. I was told they would have to “see if they could honor it” and check with the office manager. That made absolutely no sense to me. This was a Groupon specifically purchased for a service that their business advertised and offered through Groupon. Why would there be a question about whether it could be honored after a customer has already paid for it? I was told I would receive a call back after they spoke with the office manager. It has now been four business days, and I have received absolutely nothing — no phone call, no email, no explanation, and no follow-up whatsoever. The entire situation left a very bad impression. If a business chooses to advertise a service through Groupon, customers should not be made to feel as though their legitimately purchased voucher may or may not be accepted once they attempt to redeem it. And regardless of whatever internal issue may have existed, completely failing to follow up with a customer is simply poor customer service. At this point, I would rather pursue a refund through Groupon than receive treatment here. If communication and accountability are this questionable over something as straightforward as honoring an advertised Groupon, I would not feel comfortable trusting this office with my dental care. Definitely beware if you are considering purchasing one of their Groupon offers.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had a wonderful experience with Smiles by Myles. Dr. Myles and the entire staff are always friendly, professional, and welcoming. They make every visit comfortable and take the time to explain everything clearly. Experiencia fantástica: I always have a great experience at Smiles by Myles. From the front desk staff to the techs, they put everybody at ease and handle everything with professionalism and courtesy.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my first appointment with Dr. Myles and staff in February and the experience was outstanding in every way! One of my top priorities in my health is having a great dentist that I can trust. All my former wonderful dentists have retired so I have been searching for a new dentist/practice that I can stay with for many years:ahead. Dr. Myles deserves every outstanding rating. Great location, easy parking, beautiful office, amazing staff. One of the reasons for choosing this practice, in addition to wanting the best dentist possible, is having individual rooms for each patient, not open spaces. I needed a cleaning. Excellent. I also consulted about getting porcelain veneers to address yellowing teeth and gum recession that comes with aging. Dr. Myles and his staff answered every question, and were so patient with me! There is no question that he is the best of the best when it comes to top skill in crafting absolutely beautiful porcelain veneers or addressing any dental needs. I have done the research, I would go to no one else! I can't recommend this practice enough! I am saving ahead for veneers which gives me plenty of time to consider exactly color and shape that I wish to have! I picked up whitening trays to use in the meantime! Delightful office, Dr. Myles stopped by to go over everything, I am so grateful for the quick turnaround from order to pick up! Best! Best! Best!

Experiencia fantástica: Finding a dentist you genuinely feel comfortable with isn’t easy, so I’m really glad I found Dr. Myles and his team. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and made me feel at ease. Dr. Myles took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. You can tell he really cares about his patients and wants them to feel informed and comfortable. I left feeling confident that I was in great hands, and I’m actually happy I found a dentist I can trust. I highly recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Dr. Myles and his team since 2012. Consistently over the years, their professionalism, quality care, management, and operations have been OUTSTANDING, e.g., use of modern technology for regular cleaning, fillings, and implants. Dr. Myles and his hygienists and admin staff are most friendly, all with a ready sense of humor. In comparison to other dental practices I’ve used in the DMV region, I’d say Dr. Myles’ practice #1…and I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to this dental office for almost 15 years and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming. My recent cleaning and exam were thorough, and the dentist took the time to answer my questions and explain everything clearly. It’s nice to have a dental team you can trust year after year. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: An utterly terrified dental patient, I was referred to Dr. Myles and his team by my world class dentist in Arizona when I moved to Virginia. After years and years of fine and excellent care from spectacular dental professionals, I must say that Dr. Myles is head and shoulders above and beyond the finest dentist I’ve had care for my problematic teeth and gums in my lifetime. If I could post 50 gold stars I would. There are not enough superlatives to describe Dr. Myles and his highly skilled personable team. I’m so lucky to have found this exceptional practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Dr. Myles on April 21st with a complex issue. He not only provided a free consultation but he also spent over an hour going over my concerns and issues. He also went out of his way to take pictures and go over my concerns with a fine tooth comb. I was highly impressed and will definitely be back for all my dental work moving forward. Thank you so very much Dr. Myles!

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful results. Great office. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here! Dr. Myles is really nice and does an excellent job explaining exactly what he’s going to do, which made me feel completely at ease. Experiencia fantástica: I did a lot of research before settling on Dr. Myles and it was the BEST decision. He is remarkably knowledgeable and skillful. He explained every step of the procedure and was patient with my questions and concerns. Will absolutely be recommending Dr. Myles to my friends and family!

Experiencia fantástica: Very satisfied with the level of care and customer service by Dr. Myles and his team. I can't stop smiling!

Experiencia fantástica: This has been one of the best experiences and the most caring dental team I’ve ever met! ⭐️ I broke a veneer in my front tooth two days ago and I panicked because: 1. I’m from out of state so I’m not familiar with dentists in the area or nearby, and 2. My financial situation is not the best, and having a complete replacement of my veneer would not be feasible for me at the moment. My partner had found Dr Myles on Google and one of the things that caught my attention was how descriptive and good the reviews were about the attention received. Also, the amount of persons that had been patients of Dr Myles for years. I immediately felt welcomed and almost as if my presence had been the best part of their day! It surprised me a lot. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. After having been previously told by other dentists that a temporary fix could not be possible (in the most dismissive demeanor), Dr Myles made it possible. He was very nice and personable. He kindly informed that a replacement in the future would still be needed. The cost was accesible for us and I will definitely come back to have my veneer replaced here The space is clean, modern, and with the latest technology.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles and his staff are top notch professionals! I could not have been more pleased with Dr. Myles. His chair side manner was great and the procedure was perfect. I didn’t feel a thing! Best of the all, the final result was priceless!

No pressure for extra procedures, just a very comfortable and professional experience. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! Dr. Myles took the time to ease my mind while I was going through an unpleasant experience with veneers from my current doctor. I wish I had trusted my gut and started the process with him from the beginning. He took the time to consult with me and gave me an honest, straightforward opinion after already providing a thorough and incredibly helpful online consultation—at no cost. Despite that, I still chose the easier, more affordable option, which I now regret. Please don’t pinch pennies when it comes to your smile. Dr. Myles is hands down the way to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Great office. I was welcomed by Claudia with a big smile and smooth check in. Selena was excellent taking all XRays and provided great and smooth cleaning. They explained every details and give you options to always ask any questions even at later time as you might not always remember everything at the time. I would definitely recommend Dr. Myles.

Experiencia fantástica: Top-tier cosmetic dentist I am a physician, Harvard educated. I traveled from Maryland about 1 hour away to Dr. Wayne Myles office in Reston, VA. I did extensive research to find a highly skilled cosmetic dentist for cosmetic treatment with porcelain veneers that look natural. I was highly impressed with his gallery of before and after photos online. I perused many galleries on many websites, and I consider his gallery of photos to be the best looking porcelain veneers that I viewed. After consulting with him virtually, I felt very confident that he was the right cosmetic dentist for me. He did not disappoint, and I absolutely love my results. Dr Myles and his staff were very friendly and professional. He has a very warm and cheerful personality. I highly recommend his services for porcelain veneers.

Experiencia fantástica: Some things never change. This is what can be said about Smiles by Myles. The professionalism at every level is uncompromising. Over an extended period of time, Dr. Myles and his staff have provided the highest level of service that can be experienced. It is just a matter of appreciating the individual needs of each patient and thereupon rendering the most favorable of solutions. Treating my wisdom tooth last week was as positive of an outcome as one could anticipate. Well done. Ron Daversa Fulfillment *** a principle ingredient in building and maintaining one’s reputation. And, yes, this echoes the professional style that is in place with every dental appointment conducted by Dr. Myles and his caring team. Too bad performance evaluations for businesses top off at “10”. Smiles by Myles begins there. Ron Daversa 10-9-20

Experiencia fantástica: It is great to have known Dr. Myles so long; apart from a little graying of his hair (mine too) he remains both a fine professional in his dental field and a wonderful, intelligent and witty person. Not sure if I prefer the social interaction of the dental exam and process...I would say both and will definitely continue to return to Smile by Myles in Reston, Virginia. The receptionist and the assistants are most courteous, smile with great teeth, and make me feel "at home" in his practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Another fantastic experience with the smiles by Myles family. Very comfortable, everyone is so friendly and caring. I highly recommend them, they have helped me take even better care of my whole mouth also. They have a plan that I like better than insurance.... Just had another appointment, I can't think of anything I would change from my previous review, they are great.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Myles yesterday for photos, X-rays, and a digital scan ahead of my veneers consultation—and I couldn’t be more impressed. He went above and beyond to explain every detail, making me feel completely informed and at ease. The staff was equally wonderful—warm, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend Dr. Myles and his team!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going here for almost 10 years! Service is always top tier. Dr. Myles as well as his staff are ALWAYS professional and make you feel right at home when visiting them.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr. Miles! I went in for a second opinion, and I was relieved to hear that my treatment plan was not as expansive as the other practice was recommending. I will be back for all my future dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: ⸻ I recently saw Dr. [Name] for a consultation and was really impressed by his honesty and helpfulness. Instead of taking advantage of the situation, he referred me to a specialist better suited for my case—when he easily could have just proceeded himself. I truly appreciate his integrity and patient-first approach.

Overall, I am pleased with the results. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles and his team are amazing. I had wanted veneers for about a decade. I had done three consults at other offices before choosing Dr. Myles. They look perfect but natural, exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend him to anyone considering getting veneers.

He is always available to answer questions and offer helpful advice. The staff is wonderful, and the office is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Myles to anyone looking for a skilled and dependable dentist.

Experiencia negativa: I was a loyal patient to Dr. Myles for many years. Even after I moved out of the area, I would still drive to Reston to see him and his wonderful team. His office is spectacular and very welcoming and he and his team are top-notch. Why would I provide a 1 star review given all of these factors? As ridiculous as this is going to sound, Dr. Myles essentially cancelled me as a patient due to differing political views from him. Given how long I had been a patient, Dr. Myles followed me on social media and vice versa. During this election season, his responses kept getting more hostile to me and when I called him out on it (privately) he essentially said "it's a free country." Childish. This morning I called his office first thing to let them know I would be unable to make my appointment this morning as I need to stay home with my sick child, and his receptionist told me that my active was inactive and I was not even on the schedule for today. To say that I was supremely disappointed that I was cancelled as a patient after eight years was extremely disappointing, especially because it's due to my political beliefs. Unbelievable.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles and his staff are excellent! His office is insanely clean and everyone is wonderful - plus my teeth and the families have never been in better health!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles has been my dentist for over 20 years. He, and his entire staff, have always been so professional and knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience with Dr.Myles. The staff were very nice and walked me through everything. The office was comforting and clean!. Experiencia fantástica: I always feel like I get the best care. Dr. Myles and his staff are warm, responsive and professional. Great dental practice!

Experiencia fantástica: I didn’t know I could actually look forward to a dental appointment until my first visit with Dr. Myles and his wonderful staff. Came in for a simple cosmetic procedure consultation and the technology this office has makes the process so much easier than ever before. Dr. Myles explained everything in thorough details and assured me about any doubts or concerns I had. His confident and calm demeanor makes the world’s difference with anxious patients. We ended up doing the procedure same day due to it being cost efficient as well as quick and pain-free, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I have finally found my forever dentist who I can feel comfortable with and can trust with my teeth!

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy with my veneers! Dr. Myles and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. They truly go above and beyond to make their patients feel as comfortable as possible. Experiencia fantástica: I’m extremely happy with the dedicated care I’ve received from Dr. Myles and his staff. They took care of my teeth for many years while I lived in Virginia and there was no one I trusted more when it came time to replace my veneers. I live overseas now, but I still come back every year for a cleaning and check-up!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles has been my dentist for years, because I consider him the best! His practice is constantly evolving to provide the most up-to-date dental care in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, and his staff is wonderful. I no longer fear or dread dental visits; in fact, I actually look forward to them.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had only two dentists since moving from Illinois to Reston, Virginia in 1973. The first dentist was so good and such a fine person that I was with him until he retired. Dr. Wayne Myles is of the same qualities, and young enough that he'll be my last dentist .

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles and the members of his staff are very skilled, caring, and consistently on time. I am always confident that I will receive state of the art dental care by kind, expert professionals. I could not recommend this practice any higher.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent customer service was happy how consultation went. No pressure and felt that I wasn't being pushed or pressured. DR. Myles took time to explain all the concerns I had and tells you like it is. I would recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent practice. Dr Myles is personable and masterful. He sees our whole family and has dealt with everything from regular dental work to broken teeth to veneers. Definitely worth your time to consider.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Dr.Myles for nearly thirty years and couldn't recommend him more highly. I recently had to have an onlay replaced and he and his team were able to complete the work quickly and with minimal discomfort. His entire team are professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myles is one of the few dentists that I would give a 5 star rating to. He is knowledgeable, and not pushy. His office is managed very well, and his staff are ontop of scheduling. His hygienist is great, very thorough. I highly recommend him to any one looking for a reputable GOOD dentist in northern VA
