Experiencia fantástica: In a day an age where customer service is gone this office is a breath of fresh air. The office and dental rooms are exceptionally clean and well designed. The staff including the dentist is friendly and they explain clearly what steps they are taking next and the exact cost allowing you to decline procedures you cannot afford. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Experiencia positiva: very accomodating and friendly. proactively reached out to accomodate appointments, and got me in fast due to an emergency. Only reasonf for not 5 star is had to pay out of pocket the whole balance. then they will submit to insurance on my behalf. In my experience, id rather not deal with figthing with insurance. so now i just cross my fingers that its covered. i totally understand their position, but it puts a real burden on the client.

Relaxation got him in quickly for an appointment and everyone was very caring and kind. The reseating work did the trick and they were able to continue on their trip without worry. Highly recommend this clinic!

Went to a practice in Buena Vista, with selective insurance ,in a nutshell was told “you’re gonna have to deal with it for a couple of weeks until your referral goes through.” no antibiotics, no temporary pain Relief offered…..fast forward three weeks later, I had been experiencing the worst pain of my entire existence! So just like a lot of other folks, going to a new practice, nerves were getting the best of me! I didn’t even have to feel out the vibe when I walked through the door! The energy in that building was so welcoming I forgot where I was! I’m bad with names, so I apologize in advance. The receptionist greeted me with top shelf courtesy, comfort and information immediately exceeding my expectations! (who by the way is a lifetime local, and extremely professional)Now money set aside, I will pay this crazy Canadian family money all day long and say to hell with my insurance from how pleasant and enjoyable My first visit with them was! I cannot stress how awesome this establishment is, I’ll be the first to admit that I have horrible credit…. I was approved to receive the help that I needed through one of their amazing lenders in about 10 minutes! With affordable payments of my comfort level, quick easy process! Although I couldn’t tell if I was smiling half the time I was there, jokes were being thrown around, good conversation and the highest amount of professionalism I have seen in this Valley ever! I’m pretty sure I was introduced to every employee in the building and greeted just the same as my first step through the door! If there were more stars to fill, they would be full, I highly recommend this place and whether they like it or not, they’re stuck with me! I cannot thank everyone enough @Relaxationdental for everything that went down today! PS: if it were up to me, everybody in that building would get a raise! And I almost forgot to mention I got a freaking gift bag full of goodies, super nice insulated growler, stylist pen, and one of those wire thingies you run through your hair that gives you the chills! along with a card.

Experiencia fantástica: Going to the dentists is typically very scary for me. However, my experience with Relaxation Dental completely blew me out of the water! Dr. Brown and his assistant Jessica are astonishingly kind and knowledgeable, and the entire staff went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and relaxed during my emergency visit, regardless of my lack of insurance. I was given a variety of tools to help me stay calm during my extraction- there was not a moment where I felt rushed, pressured, judged, or in pain. I would 10/10 recommend this practice to anyone and everyone in the Ark valley!

Dr Brown seemed especially nice and explained finding from my exam to me, and I went ahead with some recommended work, besides just a cleaning and exam, so that I didn't have to return at a later date. Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency on Friday afternoon when my tooth broke. My regular dentist said they wouldn’t be able to see me for a month, or I could try their other location in a week, but even then they said treatment likely wouldn’t happen at that visit. I was worried about infection or exposing a nerve and felt I needed to be seen quickly. Relaxation Dental, however, got me in right away. They quickly diagnosed the issue, prepared a new tooth to be sent to the lab, and fitted me with a temporary the same day. They even stayed after hours on a Friday to make sure everything was taken care of and personally called me on Saturday to check in and make sure I was doing okay. Everyone in the office was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I first called through every interaction I had there. I’m so grateful for their care and responsiveness, and I’ll definitely be switching to Relaxation Dental going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience, as always. Dr. Brown is kind, upbeat and pleasant. Most importantly he is super competent and careful with how you feel, and how your teeth turn out. The very first time I saw him was several years ago, and he cleared a spot for me the SAME day because I’d cracked a tooth during breakfast. He has done fillings for me and even replaced a missing molar with an implant (no stress/no pain). Today, he filled in some tiny chips in my front teeth and it looks amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and his staff, who are all so friendly and supportive.

DR Brown having heard of my struggles opened an appointment for me in spite of a full schedule and provided the dental care I so despirately needed. Experiencia positiva: Employees very friendly and helpful and caring. Nice clean office. 01/13/2026 update...changes in office procedures have changed my opinion. This office will not book any appointments, even cleaning, without a $50 deposit! So if you schedule 6 months or 8 months ahead your $50 that's there and doesn't collect interest or anything. Then when you make your next appointment while you are there, they keep your $50 so if you continue to make appointments you have Ashley donated $50 until you either die or change dennis. I think this is obscene unbelievable and basically fraud. Beware and maybe you'd want to start with a different dentist office that doesn't have this type of deposit to make an appointment.

Even faced with a major procedure they put your mind at ease, and in my case patiently answered my multitude of questions. Even though they (and every other dentist in town) were super busy, they told me to come in the next morning. They were running on a skeleton crew- just Dr. Brown, Jess and Kendra. The old crown needed to be replaced, but I wasn’t in pain, so they could have sent me home and scheduled it later, but they took care of me that day. There were a bunch of emergencies and they took care of everyone. They were all so personable, kind and caring, not to mention amazing at what they do. Just another reason why we love living in Salida. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and Relaxation Dental.

I ended up finally getting my extraction done and I couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Walker, Dr. Brown and the whole entire staff for being so supportive and encouraging.

Experiencia negativa: This experience was not great I wouldn’t recommend coming here. There was no one there to check me in for my appointment which is odd for a medical office. So I called to let them know I was there for an appointment and they honestly seemed annoyed with me. The next person I interacted with was nice enough but had no formal dental hygienist education and had been trained on the job, which is no fault of his but this practice claims to have higher trained staff than other dental offices. When I finally met the dentist he had his assistant relay information to him rather than asking me questions himself which truthfully was the most awkward interaction of the whole appointment mostly because the information was not relevant to my teeth and was about my hobbies ? They seem to be focused more on gimmicks like having tvs on the ceiling and offering rewards for writing reviews than the actual dentistry. Also if your going to be giving gift bags to new clients, maybe try something useful like toothpaste or a toothbrush, not a cheap head scratcher and coffee mug I don’t need?

As a mom of four little ones, I was so thankful they could see me quickly without having to drive all the way to the big city. I was able to get an appointment within just a few days of reaching out online. I’m beyond grateful for their help and can’t recommend them enough!

Experiencia positiva: Great Emergency Dental Services! I was an out-of-state visitor that had a gum sore which made it painful to even swallow a glass of water. I was able to schedule an appointment for 2 1/2 hours after I called. The friendliness and customer service of the staff from the moment I walked through the door was unbelievable. Both dentists I talked to seemed knowledgable and competent. Dr. Walker was able to instantly diagnose my issue. In my case, there were two different avenues of treatment, one more expensive and invasive than the other. After consulting, the doctor recommended the less expensive and invasive route -- something that earned more of my confidence. He even gave me his cell number in case my pain worsened over the upcoming weekend. A word on pricing: The staff were very upfront about pricing. I found the fee for an emergency visit limited exam reasonable. However, it was a little unusual that they wanted payment up front, before I even stepped into the office. (Most places bill insurance first.) Also, I found the estimate for the more invasive treatment (which we both agreed not to do at this time) to be rather high, even when greatly discounted from the "book" price. I have no comparison, no experience with this, but the price estimate for a minor surgical procedure was as much as I have paid at previous places for a whole crown (including all related visits).

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Relaxation Dental! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I usually hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Walker and Ian (his assistant) were absolutely fantastic and made me feel so comfortable. Ian even patted my shoulder to calm me and distract me while Dr. Walker massaged my gums, which made the numbing shot so much easier to handle—something I’ve always dreaded. Everyone here was amazing from start to finish. Drew at the front desk, noticed my high anxiety (I was rubbing the top of my hand) and he came and brought me a squishy stress ball that I held and played with the rest of the time! Between that, Ian’s shoulder patting and the doctors rubbing of the gums made this whole process awesome! Gina, and the entire team were so kind, patient, and truly caring. They really listen and go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. For the first time ever, I actually felt relaxed at the dentist. Highly recommend!!

Were all truly, truly incredible. I could not have anticipated just how lovely, helpful, genuine and kind these healthcare professionals are. I came in from the CT fried, exhausted, and with a broken tooth. They helped me immediately and the cost was affordable. I'm blessed and grateful to have come across Relaxation Dental. Given the attention to detail provided at Restoration and the overall vibe of the office I feel immediately that l was led to the ideal place. Their in-office insurance compares favorably with other plans. I was attracted to their discounted initial visit and I've encountered no disappointments.

They were able to see me and fix it within a few hours of my call for help. The entire staff is amazing, facility is state of the art and the dentists are fantastic! They've won me over and I've already scheduled my next cleaning with them.

Brown found i had a small cavity there and he gave me multiple options on how we should go about fixing the tooth issue and explained things so easy to understand. Experiencia fantástica: I have been to Dr Brown a couple of times now for different dental procedures. Today was my first cleaning with them. They didn’t do the traditional poking and scraping that leaves my teeth clean, but also leaves them feeling very tender and sore for at least a day. Dr Brown used a tiny, powerful jet of water that was sort of like a power washer for teeth. There was NO pain during or after the cleaning and my teeth feel great! Thanks to all the great people at Relaxation Dental in Salida CO…I would recommend you guys to everyone!!!

They do offer many opportunities to save a little money, which really helps. I have been coming here for years and when my husband decided to shop around again he did his research and came right back. I couldn't afford dental care for a long time but they never shamed me for the cavities I had collected and made the lengthy filling sessions as comfortable as possible with music, blanket, sunglasses, even chairs with a massage function! I am doing orthodontics now with the new Spark system and am so grateful to have a team that is working with cutting edge techniques in this rural setting. Highly recommend this team.

They made sure I never felt any pain during the root canal and the crown fits perfect. Dr Brown was nice enough to do some other work and did not charge me for it. Highly impressive communication skills from the doctors and state of the art treatments. I was so impressed with this place , I recommend to all my friends and family.

Experiencia negativa: Amending a contract is just that an amendment. Your can't say "give me money" BEFORE giving an appointment to charge for services not yet received much less allow your employees to INSULT clientele by proclaiming them as thieves because they don't want to pay for services that HAVEN'T even been scheduled. Yes, the front desk employee said "we find that if you pay in advance for an appointment you actually show up..." EXCUSE ME... saying I am stealing time and must pay when I was given a document stating payment received when services are rendered but demand payment before an appointment and accusing me of thieving and dishonesty. If you value yourself in anyway... go ANYWHERE but here. Another patron paid in advance $3000 for an appointment reassured that it would be refunded when insurance was billed but NO ONE EVER billed and he suffered great losses. They are the liars and theives but accuses potential clientele. Do not go here!

Experiencia negativa: I went for my son's first appointment and was given an estimate for a 2nd consultation. When told I MUST pay at least 50% before an appointment being scheduled they presented me with a child's 'scribble' signature saying I agreed to this arrangement, however, when presented with the 2nd consultation (why we need 2...?) I showed where it stated in the "new" estimate that it says payment due at time of treatment the man was rude and treated me as trash... literally (like I need to get to the dumpster, seriously) So stated the issues but the AMENDED print out given to me at the end of the appointment changed the original agreement (not signed by me) and they REFUSED TO HONOR IT! It's highlighted "payment due at time of treatment" NOT before! Wouldn't recommend but will consider legal action based upon tort laws.

Experiencia fantástica: For the past 20 years, I have dreaded going to see any dentist. I have 3 autoimmune conditions that can cause serious dental issues. I’ve been told by most dentists and rheumatologists that I would soon have to have either implants or dentures to replace all of my teeth. Every time I would go in, it would be more bad news. I felt basically that was just a ‘problem’ patient with so many issues that it didn’t really matter what I had going on, that I just needed to be written off as a `lost cause.’ I hesitated to go to Relaxation Dental due to the fact that it would be out of pocket for my treatment, as opposed to being able to walk out with my insurance covering most or all of my payment upfront from other dentist offices. (Relaxation Dental does file your insurance for you, though.) However, I also felt I wasn’t receiving the attention I really needed for my condition from other dentists I have seen. I decided to make an appointment and just have a consultation to see what they thought could be done in my `condition’. To say I was totally TAKEN by the attention, care, and concern I received from BOTH Dr. Brown and Dr. Walker, as well as their AMAZING staff is probably the utmost understatement I’ve ever given. I was literally blown away from the minute I met them. I have NEVER had any dentist pay attention to me and take me serious like they did. They took the time to listen to everything I said, including the history of what I’ve gone through in the last 20 years. They cared. They actually cared. They both took a look at my teeth, consulted with each other, and both agreed that they could actually SAVE my teeth. I fully thought they were going to tell me that it was time to begin the implant or denture process. For once, I’ve been given hope, even an actual POSITIVE outcome that I might be able to have ‘normal’ teeth with their recommended treatments. My appointment for my consultation was at 1:30, and they literally worked with me until almost 5:30 to start the process for me. I was given all of the numbers of what it would cost me upfront in private before we proceeded with any given treatment. I was also offered a few different credit avenues if I needed any info. I never once felt pressured. I did however feel empowered from their positivity and determination to help me. Their upmost concern was to make me comfortable and keep me informed through the entire time I sat in their chair. I was given a pillow, offered a warm blanket, something to drink, and asked me repeatedly what they could go to make me as comfortable as possible. I could see my x-rays on the screen above me, and I was shown and given a thorough explanation for everything that concerned them and what the treatment would be needed to address it. I was asked repeatedly if I had any questions. It felt as if I was in a dental spa! They all had an amazing sense of humor, also. It was FUN. I had many laughs! For the first time in 20 years, I have a whole new positive outlook on not only being able to have `normal’ teeth, but that they will actually be MY teeth! I actually look forward to my next DENTIST appointment with them! Who would have thought!? My ONLY regret is that I wish I would have gone to Relaxation Dental when I first heard of them instead of waiting until now! I would’ve been a lot further along than I am now, but I am so thankful that I went and beyond grateful for their help! I highly recommend if you have not given them a try, do yourself a favor…a HUGE favor… and make the call for a free consultation! You won’t be disappointed! I simply cannot thank both Doctors and their staff enough for their each and every effort on my behalf.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brown and his staff are absolutely amazing! The front and back staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have essential oils to help calm. They also have options like a blanket and fidget toys for the little ones and a TV on the ceiling to watch whatever you want My 6 year old daughter was terrified of going to the dentist because she had a horrible experience from her previous dentist. Dr. Brown calmed all her fears and explained all the tools he was using along with letting her touch them. Dr. Brown is truly amazing, caring and compassionate about what he does. My daughter is no longer fearful of the dentist and is excited to go back to Dr. Brown!!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had an emergency over the weekend and even though we are first time patients and came in from Canon City, ALL the staff have been phenomenal. We were able to talk to both dentists on a Sunday evening late and they have done everything they could to help us. Probably the best dental experience we’ve ever had. They did everything they could to make her comfortable as well me bringing her to their office. Multiple phone calls and texts to check on her. Thank you so much for helping us!!
