Experiencia negativa: I did a cleaning with x- rays yesterday. I was charged ~$470. Then I was offered to pay ~$2,500 to fix 2 cavities and put a crown on one of them in one day session using the x-rays which I paid for already. Too expensive. I'm having a better offer from another clinic.

Experiencia negativa: First time I made an appointment was for a consultation. Couple days later I called back to see if they had an opening for a single issue of tooth pain. Very nice visit got me antibiotics and gave me information for someone else to do an extraction. (Wasn’t aware they didn’t do extractions but that was ok) Next appointment was briefly discussed as I had expected to keep it because it was a consultation and I wanted to get my other teeth looked at. I show up for my appointment at 8:00am and they don’t have me on the schedule. They took me off without notifying me from any of the information they already took from me. What a joke.

Experiencia negativa: I am reluctant to say so, but I would strongly recommend anyone not use this dentist office. I’d like to share my experience here. I have been going here while it was owned and operated by Dr. Echols. When it was purchased by the new dentist, I saw her as well, and had pleasant experiences. However. After trying to pay my bill several times over the phone (they dont offer online bill pay) and being told that they would reach out to insurance first then they never call me back, today I called back yet again (3rd time here if you can believe it) because they never reach out and I want to ensure my bills are accounted for, after a back and forth with the receptionist who answered the phone informed me that the bill was going to go to collections but instead they decided to waive it. I was very confused. She also still wanted me to pay it, which I am fine doing so. So then I inquired about the bill yet again and the item line of my wifes visit because she really never had anything actually done there. Essentially what happened was that they listed a service online that they did, and after I told my wife of my pleasant experience there, my wife called to make an appointment for that service (dental implant). When she arrived, Dr. Walker saw her for about 2 minutes to say that she does not provide that service, which was obviously very confusing, and a waste of my wife’s time since she confirmed with her front desk about the service…but whatever. We then got a bill for $110. I asked if that seemed right to them, but mentioned several times that I am still willing to pay the bill. After the receptionist spoke with Dr. Walker, she came back to the phone and said, “We will cover the bill, but won’t be seeing you as a patient anymore.”...So strange. I have never had that happen before, again, I have tried 3 times now to just pay my bill. I asked to speak with the dentist directly. To her credit she did mention that she realized there was some confusion with the communication from her receptionist, and that her receptionist got it all wrong, she definitely did. Regardless, the kind of practice that would so quickly treat a patient like that, is not someone that I want to associate with or trust. She will not get business anymore. I will move on to another Dentist, and happily pay my dental bills lol. I think it speaks to how they view their patients, so again…at your own risk here with this one, but I would strongly urge you to go literally anywhere else to a place that actually cares for their patients, rather than just write them off.

Everyone at Spring Hill Smiles, were friendly, attentive. Dr. Walker was very skillful, and thoroughly extracted the root and spared my existing cap. Although had I needed it replaced it was going to be a great price and same day. Dr. Katie Walker is an asset to Spring Hill.

So far she's been wonderful! My 3 year old had her first appointment today and they were all so patient and moved at her pace. She didn't have a single meltdown. Simultaneously, my 5 year old was having her teeth cleaned and I heard her hygienist chatting with her the whole time. I was in the middle getting my teeth done and Dr. Walker found a cavity that had been overlooked last time and got me scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend Dr. Walker and her team!

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately their staff are not very good at understanding how dental insurance works and how to appropriately read plan coverage. They are not transparent with pricing or billing. To be clear, this review is not because of the high cost of dental care. This review is because of the staff’s improper handling of reviewing insurance benefits and quoting accurate out of pocket costs to make informed decisions about care. I wonder if this practice was bought by private dental equity instead of being privately locally owned.
