I went to this office when it was under a previous owner & didn’t have quite the best experience (insurance wise) but Jeremy went the extra mile to reach out to my insurance to ensure I wouldn’t have any surprises. He was also very upfront about my potential responsibility! Once in the back, I was thoroughly walked through the X-Ray and cleaning process by the absolute sweetest tech (she’s gonna kill me for not remembering her name). While Dr.Lloyd didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know, his gentle approach and guidance made it that much more digestible! I even mentioned the office to my son’s dentist for her to include in the list of parental referrals! Keep up the great work team!

Dr. Loyd and his team provide an elevated, high-class service from the moment you walk in and meet Jeremy behind the front desk, to the moment where you're working with Dr. Loyd himself. Coffee and water service doesn't even scratch the surface. They also offer a complimentary paraffin wax treatment for you hands- my hands in the end were soooooo soft and moisturized! Also did I mention that they are also your one-stop shop for your Botox needs! AFD is the ONLY dentistry practice to go to! I promise you won't be disappointed!

During my visit I got: ‍♀️ A face massage Paraffin wax with mittens ️ A blanket and warm neck pillow And they communicate by text—like, are you for real?! Even the dentist himself texts. Somebody call Beyoncé, because this is giving Upgrade U. The people are what make it next level. Kate is bubbly and hilarious, like catching up with your brunch friend while she does x-rays. The person who handles billing? Pure “let’s kiki and sip tea” energy—like someone you’d spill your day with while also handling the serious stuff. And the dentist - Dr Lloyd? Certified hottie. Also refreshingly honest—no “you need 47 mystery procedures” vibes. They literally pow-wows with billing in front of you so you know your options, what’s necessary, and how to keep it affordable. Top tier. And then there’s Laurie. She’s been a hygienist for 42 years. Now, I’m not a chatty-dentist-chair person (sometimes I’m the opposite). But Lauri? Different. She’ll tell you, “You can stop me if I’m talking too much,” but honestly you won’t want her to. She taught me more about flossing, products, and teeth care than I’ve ever learned—plus she sneaks in life lessons. One appointment we were laughing so hard I forgot I had a mouth full of instruments. By the end, we had a little emotional moment that made me want to take her out for tea. She loves what she does, and it radiates. This whole office is demure but top tier—like, I could go to Massage Envy, get my nails done, and then swing by here just to chill with everyone. Michelle and Jeremy at the front desk greeted me with such kindness and made sure I had everything I needed before my appointment began. Once I was taken to the exam room, I was offered a paraffin wax treatment for my hands and a warm towel for my neck and shoulders, which I’ve never experienced at a dental office before. These thoughtful touches really elevated the visit and gave it more of a boutique, spa-like feel. Casey then took my X-rays and spent time getting to know me, which made me feel instantly at ease. Lorie followed with a thorough cleaning and did a fantastic job. She explained each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I really appreciated her attention to detail and care. Dr. Lloyd came in at the end to review my X-rays and photos and discuss future dental needs. He was informative, approachable, and made sure I left feeling confident about my dental health. Overall, I felt truly cared for during every step of my visit. Experiencia negativa: If you have extra time and money to waste, this is the place. Initially, recommended treatment was significantly more involved than what I wanted and what dentists had done for me in the past. When I expressed an understandable confusion and reluctance to blindly agree with the charges following an opaque justification, Dr. Alexander became immediately combative and tried to refuse seeing me at all because my asking a question made me 'not a good fit'. After I pressed for transparent pricing, Dr. Alexander's team eventually and with extreme-reluctance provided me with a specific bottom-line monetary figure and assured me I’d be reimbursed by my insurance. Later, I was charged significantly more than their provided figure — and it turned out my insurance had already paid them directly, despite the office telling me multiple times that I’d be receiving a check. When I brought this up, I was told I had misunderstood — not that they had miscommunicated or misled me. And when I questioned the bill, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior. This isn’t just my experience. Afterward, I found multiple reviews describing the exact same issues: surprise billing, vague or misleading communication, and blaming the patient when concerns are raised. If they reply to this review with their usual copy-paste defense claiming they “provided everything up front,” I can say confidently: that was not my experience. I’ve spent over a month trying to resolve this fairly. If the office wants to make it right, they can follow up directly — and I’ll remove this review. But gaslighting customers in public replies isn’t the way to handle complaints. Until they change how they treat people, others deserve to know.

Experiencia fantástica: My dental experience was amazing. It was a 30 minute drive, but it was all worth it. I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a warm neck pillow. This was the best dental experience I have ever had after getting cozy in the dental chair they provided a blanket and a hand moisturizing wax treatment. The dental hygienist explained every step of the way and all the new high-tech tools. The dentist was very very knowledgeable. I will be coming back every four months. Go Dr.Lyod! Worth it!!

Knowing that I had a lot of anxiety about dental work, they took extra care and were truly so communicative and educational in my first appointment. I expected my first deep cleaning to be extremely uncomfortable since it had been a few years since my last cleaning, but Laurie took such fantastic care of me and let me be in control of what level of numbing I received and when I needed to take breaks. She walked me through every single step so that I felt as comfortable as possible. I truly cannot thank them enough for the intentionality they are giving me during this process.

Experiencia fantástica: You are in FABULOUS hands when you come to see Doc and her staff at Alexander Family Dentistry. They are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and everything you could ever want out of a dentist... You feel like you're waking into a spa whenever you step into the office. The ambiance is second to none and the heated neck pillow as you take your seat is the cherry on top! It is clearly evident that they really do want what's best for your health. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a dentist office. I cannot wait to continue my oral health care journey with Doctor Alexander and her team!

Experiencia negativa: I don't recommend going to this practice whether you have insurance or not. Their billing practices are unethical and extremely ridiculous for the mediocre services they provide. I was triple charged for a normal cleaning plus unnecessary additional services. I paid in full upfront and my insurance also sent them additional funds for services rendered in December 2023. After noticing how shady their billing practices were and giving them advanced notice that I will no longer be using their services, they still sent me a bill that was incorrect and are all of sudden wanting to charge me a missed appointment fee as retaliation and for an appointment I never even agreed to in the first place. As of date, they also owe me leftover credit for my payment and what my insurance paid that was supposed to be applied to 2024 services I never received. Again, don't use the doctor.

When she found out from my husband I had to have chemo she found a way to get me in right away for a extreme cleaning before I had possible side effects. Not only did she do this, she also walked me through everything that I might experience and helped me get some items that would help with these side effects, including special toothbrushes, mouth wash and spray. She went well over and above what any other dentist would do for their patients and that's why I have been going to her for years!
