When you’re living with facial pain and splitting ears, you don’t want to wait three months to be seen and then have someone drop you. Thorough examination and clearly explained what’s going on and the path forward. Staff was friendly and professional. I’ve been to my fair share of doctors and specialists and they are as good as it gets! I wish all practices cared about their patients like they do.

Experiencia fantástica: I just got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out today, and it went great! Dr. Leal is the best surgeon ever!!! I was really nervous when I came in, but Dr. Leal has such a confident calm energy, and it made me feel a lot better. I could tell that he knew what he was doing and I knew that I was in good hands. He was really kind, and the IV sedation didn't hurt at all! I was worried that being sedated would make me feel dizzy or nauseous, but none of those things happened! I was totally out within seconds and I don't even remember falling asleep. Also, the lady who hooked up my monitors was really sweet and patient with me and she even gave me a blanket so I wouldn't feel cold! Everyone I met was super kind and patient with me. They were also able to accommodate my medicine allergies. I honestly feel really embarrassed for being so scared the first time I came. I was so worried over something so small, but everything turned out fine and I wish I'd done it sooner. Anyway, If you're reading this review and you're worried about getting your wisdom teeth out, don't be! It's super easy. IV sedation doesn't even really feel like falling asleep. It's more like teleportation, or like a time skip. I just blinked, and next thing I knew, the procedure was over! My mouth feels a little sore, but it's barely noticeable and only like a 3.5/10 on a pain scale. So far, no side effects from any of the medications. I feel great! Honestly, I'd give this place 10 stars if i could. Best surgery ever! The staff are seriously some of the kindest people I've ever met. I wish I knew all their names so that I could thank them one by one! If you go here, you'll be in great hands! 11/10!

I have horror stories about a few But as soon as my daughter had her first appointment her and I both had so much relief because everyone was so sweet, caring and professional. My daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth out and she was so nervous about the IV but she said they were all so understanding and helped her calm down. The procedure went perfect! Dr. Leal called us the next morning to check and make sure she was doing ok which I thought was so sweet. And told me if she needed anything to call them. She had the procedure Tuesday today is Friday and she is doing amazing! I would recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery!!! I was also able to check in a couple times with questions that were quickly answered. My daughter was back to all her normal activities, including sports, within a week. Experiencia fantástica: Genuinely the best experience I had with a dentist, got my wisdom teeth removed today. The receptionists were absolutely phenomenal, and so incredibly helpful. The Dr and Dentists assistant were amazing, and extremely polite, and helpful. They just made everything a breeze, and super simple.

Experiencia fantástica: Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday and the only one that I can even tell got removed was a particularly bothersome one that grew in sideways and needed more complicated surgery to remove. Dentist was super nice and considerate and had no disrespect for feeling anxiety before such a major procedure. I had to pay out of pocket, my fault, but it was worth every penny. His prices are very fair and the entire procedure was only $2500. I was given the necessary prescriptions for recovery almost immediately at the pharmacy after the appointment and was given thorough instructions on how to best recover from the operation. The receptionist was very nice and let me get a consultation and appointment the very day after I called, the dentist just started working a full time schedule here and is very well trained so he can manage more patients. Whenever I had any questions over the phone they were very kind and answered everything throoughly. Before treatment the nurse and dentist were completely transparent about consultation and allowed me to make my own decisions about my treatment and advised what was best, but didn't force anything, and they worked with me to try and minimize my costs. They charge way less than other places, my most expensive tooth was $550 whereas at other places it could be a minimum of $600. Not to say I would get my wisdom teeth extracted but I would go here again in a heartbeat if I had to. 11/10, exemplary service that goes way above all standards.

Experiencia fantástica: From the first time I walked in with an infected tooth, I was so scared and shaking, trying to hold back tears. Since I have not seen a Dentist in 20 years.. The lady at the counter was so sweet, helped me figure out my insurance and was just very welcoming. I get to the back, and the lady that was getting me ready for the doctor was so kind and understanding.. Dr Leal came in and was just as pleasent and talked me through everything. They preformed the tooth extraction and bam it was over like 30 mins. I feel a little silly now for being so terrified before.. Gave little to none medications for pain relief. And was told to go to the ER for pain relief after 24hrs if the pain didn’t subdue. I don’t know a lot about oral surgeries or how there supposed to feel but just know it’s unbearable agonizing pain

Experiencia negativa: Had a root canal fail. There was an infection. Dr Lesneski removed 2 teeth plus assess. 3 tooth got infected and he brushed me off for a month of it still hurting. Then told me to go get a root canal. Then that failed so he had to remove another tooth. I've gone through 5 oral surgeries with him and still have 3 missing teeth and severe bone loss.

Experiencia positiva: I have been terrified for my wisdom teeth surgery for almost a decade now and everyone at this office made it such a quick and easy process. I spoke several times with Kelsey at the office about my anxieties and she was always happy to go through any processes with me that would be occurring before and after the surgery and Dr. Leal was very patient with me as well during the procedure when I had a little trouble getting the IV secured properly. As always I do think medical offices and professionals could be a little more thorough with checking in with patients about anxieties up front and specifically sensory issues that can be a huge barrier for neurodivergent patients like myself. But overall it was a very pleasant and easy process! I do wish this office took Medicaid insurance, but I understand that it is difficult for some places to work with that type of insurance. I am about 7 hours post-surgery and have little to no swelling or discomfort.

Strangely painless...Loved it honestly and going to the dentist can make a person nervous but they took great care in explaining procedure. The oral surgeon was awesome, can't remember his name. Experiencia fantástica: I have never spent so much money in my life and been HAPPY about it. Let me tell you about this facility and their staff. Please take the time to read, especially if you have any worries or concerns about a wisdom tooth procedure and sedation. I have never been sedated before in my life. It is a terrifying concept to me, as I have unfortunately suffered extensive trauma in my past that has made it extremely difficult for me when i am not in control of my body, and almost impossible to trust someone with it/myself. I was absolutely sobbing during the sedation period, just out of body fear. They got me through it, and gave ne more support than i have even gotten from my family at times. When I tell you that these individuals go above and beyond to make sure you are okay emotionally and physically, i mean it with all my heart. I am literally making presents to thank then for what they did for me. I had zero pain and MINIMAL swelling after surgery, without having to take even a tylenol. The worst part was that my jaw was tight and sore for a couple days from the clamps that simply hold your mouth open (that they apply AFTER you are asleep!!!). I know i can call kelsey or anyone on staff whenever i have a question, or even stop in and ask in person. These are the people who took care of me, and what they provided. These are people that deserve the best in the world, who are doing essential work, and doing it to the best of their ability. And their abilities are quite high. Kelsey: she is reception/phone, and the sweetest person youll ever come across. Just a bright happy light in this world, and takes the time to know you more than checking you in and giving paperwork. Shes a busy woman doing a lot on her own sometimes, but she made the time for me during every single interaction. Rochelle: I am not sure of her official title, but she did all of the work on me prior to the actual extraction; she was with me the entire time i was getting ready and had the gas on my face. while i was sobbing she was calming me down, talking to me, all around very comforting and amazing people skills. she gets people, and is such a strong person herself. She deserves all the good coming her way, she definitely has put in the work for it. Dr Leal, Michelle in billing, and Morgan (assisting) were all wonderful as well. Everyone took the time to calm me down and talk me through it, and i am sure thats not easy to do with a 25 year old adult! Haha. Regardless of all the stress and fear I felt, they really did make it a wonderful experience. I haven't felt so supported by a group of strangers in my whole life. They are doing everything right!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday morning by Dr.Leal. I have had ZERO pain and it has been 36 hours. At first I thought, maybe its from the anesthesia but nothing. I had a very mild headache and that was it so far. I had swelling right after and iced on and off the whole day and slept with my head raised. Swelling went down within hours of coming home. I put off having this procedure done as I was terrified because of the stories I have heard, and my age. I am close to 40 years old and could not be happier with the care, compassion, and experience I have had with the staff.

I was in a desperate situation with a dental emergency, and my regular dentist's office was unfortunately unhelpful. It was honestly the easiest dental procedure I've ever had in my life. Experiencia negativa: After several days corresponding vith GMOS I was contacted they had an opening for a CT scan that afternoon. The correspondence was about a $150.00 "consultation" fee they required as office policy. I provided all insurance information via email and they approved the CT scan provided I sign a waiver as my dentist would do the consultation not GMOS. My actual dentist is located in Panama. Upon my arrival I was refused the scan! The doctor sent the reception clerk to tell me after I drove, last minute, 1:15 minutes, one way that he refused to do the scan for my own safety! After I insisted the doctor explain why he refused, he in all his arrogance finally admitted it was more to cover himself for liability. He had no regard for me, a patient, only himself even though he tried to say it was for my own good! It's no wonder why his waiting room was empty and more and more Americans are seeking medical care overseas. Yes, I might be upset, but it's probably for the best as I'm sure it's all about the money with GMOS, not the patient! Don't walk away from greed doctors, RUN!

Experiencia fantástica: My abscessed tooth was extracted on a Tuesday morning. I came home and took 2 tylenol, later that day I took an ibuprofen and another before I went to bed. The next day I was not in pain so I didn't take any more meds for pain. Dr. Leal was very kind and gentle. He did a great job.

The medical assistants were knowledgeable and informative about how my extraction procedure would go. Dr. Kittle was professional and reassuring and set me at ease before and during my procedure. It was quick and painless. When I called with a couple questions during the next week, the staff was very helpful. Experiencia fantástica: I just want to start off with the lady's at the front desk were very kind and sweet from the moment I walked in. I came in to have my bottom wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Leal. His two ladies who got me set up in the room Sarah and Jenna were amazing. They made sure I was feeling comfortable and safe while getting me prepared for surgery. They also made sure I was ok afterward. I highly recommend this office. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive from Traverse City.
