Davis Dental Creations -Dr. Simran Bains

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains' staff are very friendly, skilled and knowledgeable, especially hygienist Rosalia.

Experiencia fantástica: Service with a smile. The front desk greets when you walk in the door. The hygienist makes you feel comfortable throughout the visit. The doctor explains what needs to be done, identifying cavities on x-rays and pointing out the actual tooth inside your mouth. The dental office has never been my favorite destination, but the friendly service helps to make it all worthwhile.

Experiencia positiva: My previous dentist retired and I was not happy with the replacement and my friend said she is very happy with dr Bains and I can see why! I had a consultation and she came in with a warm smile and listened to me with the upmost respect and I left happy. She didn’t charge me for the consultation like some do and I am excited to get my teeth clean.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains, you are amazing! I think I have the best dentist! I also love your assistants. They are all so competent and very friendly. The mood in your office is such a happy one -- everyone enjoys their work. Thank you, thank you! P.S. I always recommend you when I hear of someone looking for a dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience. I highly recommend Dr. Bains

Experiencia fantástica: Really nice and tells you every detail during the procedure so you’re aren’t confused. Very gentle and cares about your teeth. I’m usually scared of the anesthesia but it wasn’t that bad! There’s some pressure but overall doesn’t hurt much.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown come off while eating. I called and they got me in right away even though it was a hectic day for them. Everyone is so friendly and kind and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: Great people and they take good care me and explained the dentist and the helper and receptionist were very helpful. I recommend them . Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: The usual excellent dental hygiene work!

Experiencia fantástica: five star service with the hygienist Rosalia so smooth , I can sleep while she's cleaning my teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: They did an amazing job, were also very informative. Would recommend to all!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains is meticulous and has gentle hands. She is kind to her staff. The procedure was as painless as it could possibly be made to be.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a great experience! My family and I have been visiting Davis Dental Creations for our dental services ever since we have lived in the county. The staff is very welcoming, professional just so friendly. Dr Bains really cares about patients and the quality of work performed in the office.

Experiencia fantástica: Rosalia is always thorough, yet gentle, and friendly. She' makes you comfortable before getting started with your appointment. On this visit, Dr Bains came in to explain the issue I had that needed immediate attention. She answered a multitude of my questions and Rosalia's input was also extremely helpful. Dr Bains then asked her staff to contact an Oral Surgeon who could see me the next day for a consult. The appointment was made and things then went smoothly for me because of how everyone at Davis Dental Creations worked together quickly to help me Thank you, again.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was excellent! The team solved problems of which i was unaware. The tooth extraction was painless !!

Experiencia fantástica: Thank goodness the old days of brutal semi-annual cleanings are gone... you can get numbing gel, and the dental hygenists are pleasant, responsive, and work efficiently and gently ... so I no longer procrastinate...

Experiencia fantástica: My hygienist was super nice and fast

Experiencia fantástica: Melissa was friendly and efficient and got my teeth sparkly clean again! Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Gregory Wilcox and Marsha were my dentist and hygienist for years before Greg retired several years ago and Dr. Bains continued the practice. Dr. Bains is an outstanding dentist, Rosalia and Tessa exceptional hygienists, and their staff always welcoming and helpful. *****

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent repair of front tooth!

Experiencia fantástica: In the past few years I have been using Davis Dental Creation for my dental work. I found the staff are very caring and responsive. Dr Bains is very professional, kind and caring. Her hygiene staff Tessa is also very kind, gentle and caring and doesn’t let you much discomfort while working on your teeth. Last but not least, when you enter Dr. Bains office you will face with the smiling faces of front desk staff.

Experiencia positiva: I was nervous about getting a new crown. Dr. Bains and her staff were patient and comforting, making the process easy.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was great. I really appreciate the gentleness and information on taking care of my teeth that I got from the dental hygienist, Tessa.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains and her staff are the best. So lucky to have found her. They are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for all you do.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at the office was friendly and informative

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Davis Dental Creations is knowledgeable and friendly. They are very thorough in their work.

Experiencia positiva: they are incredible! They are kind and very efficient. I've only ever had to wait once. They are great at scheduling and even have a text option so that you don't have to call or receive calls. I've been really impressed and would recommend their office! Update - I recently went back about a month ago for a cleaning. Very, very different experience. The hygienist made disparaging and disrespectful comments to other hygienists (referring to them as "ladies" rather than as professionals). The appointment was very slow. The dentist was maybe in my room for 2 minutes. At the end, the hygienist was trying to pressure me into making another appointment (even though I am moving - which I said numerous times). Thankfully, the office staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and courteous and helped me reiterate once again that I would not be returning. When I started coming here 3 years ago, the atmosphere was very different than it is now.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for many years beginning with Dr Wilcox. Staff has always been friendly & professional. The wait time before the procedures is very minimal. Staff is always concerned how you are handling the procedure. Dr Baines is wonderful. She doesn’t rush procedures, explains everything she is doing & is very concerned with your dental health. My experiences at Davis Dental Creations have always been positive & I highly recommend this practice!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains is so kind and caring and does great work.

Experiencia fantástica: I went from a temporary crown to a permanent crown. The permanent crown fits perfectly. The office was really busy that day, but the wait wasn't too long and I was comfortable in the chair. Honestly, I think DDC has the most comfortable medical chairs I've ever sat in.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Bains is simply the best. I had lapsed in my dental care due to my wife’s terminal illness. Dr. Bains was so kind and compassionate and never made me feel guilty or embarrassed. And her work is artisanl! She is a rare skilled practitioner who will take the time to do restorative work where others might simply say extract and move on. Thank you, Dr. Bains—for restoring my smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Tessa is a terrific hygienist and is very helpful in providing options for better dental care

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains and the dental tech Lauren were outstanding during my visit to Davis Dental Creations. The staff are on the ball with reminders about your appointment. Everyone is on time. The dental cleaning was first rate. This is the way a dental office/ practice should run. Find no one better.

Experiencia fantástica: Yesterday I was seen at the last minute because my temporary bridge came out the night before. The care was very helpful and very prompt. The atmosphere was very friendly and prompt. Another great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains and her entire staff are very professional and have always helped me with my troublesome teeth. During my most recent visit, my temporary crown had come off. Instead of simply reattaching it, they already had my permanent crown ready and installed it on the spot. This saved me a future appointment and allowed me to avoid taking additional time off work. This level of service is typical of Dr. Bains’ office, and it is truly appreciated. On top of that, Dr. Bains is a very kind and caring person. 10 out of 10.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bain is professional and very kind, she takes very good care of my whole family’s dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience! Dental Tech Yelena was super nice, efficient, thorough and caring in her approach with me.

Experiencia fantástica: My son 11 year old loves this place. Our hygenist Dennis carefully cleaned and taught him to keep his teeth with braces clean.

Experiencia fantástica: De Bain’s and her staff are amazing! They are positive, patient and listen to my concerns. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't like visiting the dentist but everyone at Davis Dental Creations makes my visits as comfortable as possible. Dr. Bains is highly skilled, gentle, and compassionate. The techs and hygienist are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I go twice a year for cleaning, and have had fillings and a bridge replaced, as well as a broken front tooth repaired. Just yesterday I had preliminary work on replacing a broken crown. I love how kind everyone is and De Bains truly is special. All excellent work done in the most professional way.

Experiencia fantástica: Cheerful positive professional staff. Good work! I’ve been going there for years. I feel well cared for.

Experiencia fantástica: My crown replacement went off with no problems. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains staff is great. They are very pleasant and Tessa who cleaned my teeth was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains, the hygienist Rosalina, and the other support staff were very professional, kind, and made my visit easy and pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: As always, Dr. Bains and her professional staff are amazing. Rosalia is simply an outstanding RDH! Very friendly and pleasant visit.

Experiencia negativa: Went for a temporary crown which fell off in two months. Had a death in the family and these people were worried about getting paid even though my permanent crown was never placed. Bill was paid. You think I've heard from these people again? Nope! I should have known the way they were jamming up this senior citizen lady for payment while I was waiting. Still with a broken tooth.

Experiencia negativa: BE WARNED! Not only did the dentist tell me there was nothing she could do about my nerve pain and sensitivity, they are charging me 274 dollars for a cleaning and X-ray! I’ve gone to dentists that were out of network and I’ve NEVER been charged this much! It’s not like I am uninsured! I am so disappointed, clearly got nothing out of it and now I’m getting robbed. Prices for out of network should be discussed upfront! I asked prior and was told that it could either be zero cost or could be a little more than the in network ones. I pay 0-50 dollars in network so this is not “a little more”!! Never coming back to this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Davis Dental Creations, under the stewardship of Dr. Harsimran, is an excellent dental practice. She took over from Dr Gregory. Wilcox a few years ago. Knowing that Dr. Wilcox was retiring I decided to switch to a highly recommended (if not the most recommended) dentist in Davis. For reasons I won’t go into fully, I decided to try Dr. Bains, though part of the reason for this was that I wanted to go back to my excellent/best ever dental hygienist—Rosalia. From the very beginning I liked and respected Dr. Bains. She is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, kind, and thorough. I also intuitively trusted her after my first exam with her. That’s important as one wants a dentist who does not do “over-dentistry” which is sometimes done for the sake of a dentist’s profit more than anything else. While I put a lot of time and effort into my dental health, I build up plaque much more quickly than most people and have significant gum recession. Thus, it is almost equally important to me to have an excellent dental hygienist in Rosalia.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr . Bains and her assistant gave excellent care and explained each step clearly.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service! Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains and staff have been providing exceptional care since Dr. Wilcox retired. For me, there is no better place to receive honest, top notch dental services than right here.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a pretty good experience overall. They are very professional and nice people. Also if you're a UC davis grad student, i would highly recommend this place. Everything is super smooth with UC ship.

Experiencia fantástica: It was a great experience! My dental hygenist, Rosalie did a thorough job with my cleaning I have already recommended this practice to a friend.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had very positive experiences with Dr. Bains and her staff. Everyone is warm, helpful and great with communication. Rosalea is a wonderful hygenist. Dr. Bains placed a new crown for me over an implant. She talks you through each step and is very conscientious about detail, fit and comfort. She checks in frequently during the procedure to make sure that you are comfortable. She conveys caring and confidence. I would strongly recommend Dr. Bains at Davis Dental Creations.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains is a compassionate, efficient, professional dentist. I highly recommend her if you are in need of a very good dentist!!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time receiving dental treatment in the U.S., and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the initial appointment all the way through the treatment. I had to change my appointments several times, but they were always very accommodating and worked around my schedule. I had both a cleaning and a crown done, and for both procedures they took their time and treated me with great care. I really felt that they paid close attention to the quality of the treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains and her assistant were exceptionally professional and caring. I have never had a dental anesthetic administered with so little discomfort. Everyone was friendly and supportive. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. All procedures were explained beforehand. Doctor Bains and her assistant were responsive to my needs during the procedure. The examination rooms were immaculate and relaxing.

Experiencia fantástica: I always get quality care from Dr. Bains as well as my hygienist Tessa. They are very skilled practitioners. I trust their work completely and highly recommend Davis Dental Creations. I've been going to this dental practice for decades, and they carry on the quality work on par with the previous dentist/owner Dr. Wilcox.

Experiencia fantástica: Denise was very nice and gentle. I never have to wait at Dr Bain’s practice. It was a good experience..

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bains is an extremely conscientious and competent dentist. I have been consistently pleased with the level of dental care I have received from her. In addition, Tessa, the dental hygienist I see there does a terrific job. I highly recommend this dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Bains and staff are the best. Thorough, professional and excellent dental care! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this dental office. The staff are very kind and work well with busy schedules. The dentists and dental hygienists are all wonderful and commited to providing excellent care. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Always quality dental work, and always on time.

Experiencia fantástica: I am glad the procedure was good. I am still unfortunately have light pain in my mouth Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was nice and welcoming but Denise was great. Truly liked how she cleaned my teeth. She was thorough and made me feel at home. I’m hard to impress but this dental office is a 10/10.

Experiencia fantástica: Not only had an excellent cleaning, but, also gained some knowledge on dental hygiene. A very easy appt and timely too

Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE: We have been Dr. Wilcox's patients for > 25 years and we have always received an excellent treatment from him and everyone in the practice. After Dr. Wilcox's retirement we became Dr. Bains' patients and the above statement applies prefectly to her as well. We greatly appreciate all her skills and care. And we should add that our appreciation goes to the Davis Dental Creations dental hygienists and always helpful receptionists as well. Update February 2026: The older statement (above) is still valid, if anything, all is gettin better due to newer technologies and a great team of DDC.

Experiencia fantástica: Davis Dental continues to provide excellent care and service as they have for several years. Thorough, competent, and I will continue to work with them for future care. J. Ingenthron.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service and advice. Everyone is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Really wonderful staff..Dr. Bains is the best

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Dr Bains! She is very skilled, gentle and kind. I recently switched to her office from another practice in Davis and have never had such a seamless, essentially painless filling appointment. Highly recommend!

Experiencia positiva: Everyone is pleasant and kind. My hygienist (Denise) seemed very inexperienced and unsure of herself. She didn’t rinse my mouth while she was cleaning my teeth and I had so many flecks in my throat I had to stop her, sit up and get a glass of water. I found the cleaning a bit haphazard, although my teeth felt clean by the end. The floss she had was not very waxy and with my tightly set teeth she repeatedly tore the floss. She had to pick floss out of at least 5 areas. The practice should provide dental tape or more waxed floss for folks like me.

Experiencia fantástica: As always very nice and warm and welcoming. Excellent group. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I do love Dr Bains! A talented, wise, and kind dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I am very happy that I ended up at Davis Dental Creations. Like many, I am not a fan of the dentist, but this office made me feel relaxed when visiting. (I feel like I can now almost fall asleep while getting my teeth cleaned.) The staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Bains is extremely kind and considerate.

Experiencia fantástica: Great filling and crown inspection. Plus recommended methods of care

Experiencia fantástica: Tessa is the best! She is kind, thorough, gentle, knowledgeable, and always interested in my dental health. All the stars to her! Love the office staff and Dr. Bains, as well. Everyone is so kind and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Harsimran Bains and her staff provide excellent care in a welcoming environment. Dr. Bains is meticulous in her diagnosis and treatment. I have always had great results. I actually look forward to going to the dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Always first class cleaning and a follow up check up by Dr Bains.

Experiencia positiva: . X-rays and cleaning were good, no major issues

Experiencia fantástica: My family receives the greatest care from Dr. Baines and the entire team. Tessa and Lauren always make my dental visits a pleasurable experience.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Tessa is so gentle during the procedure yet very thorough. I love how she explains the steps of the procedure, thus, I know what to expect.

Experiencia fantástica: As always (I have been a patient of this service for more years than I care to count--began with Dr. Wilcox) everything went well at my appointment. All employees are friendly and accommodating. I was very happy to see Mary today (her last one upon retirement). She has watched my Grandsons thrive through the years when they were there at appointments from small boys to now--grown men. My best wishes to you Mary. Enjoy your retirement!! Karen

Experiencia fantástica: The entire experience was thorough, efficient, and incredibly caring. We had an emergency crown repair, and the office was able to fit my mom in the very next day. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Bains and her staff were amazing, professional, attentive, and compassionate throughout the evaluation, repair, and follow-up recommendations.

Experiencia fantástica: Tess is the best hygienist I have ever worked with. She is worth her weight in gold!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a chipped tooth and asked for an appointment with Dr. Bain. The office scheduled me right after my schedule with a hygienist which was a relief so I can get both done in one session. The hygienist was a temp, but did an excellent job: acted professionally, was patient, and took her time and explained every step. Dr. Bain is off the chart! She is always prepared. She already and precisely knows every procedure that she has done on you. She gives you an evaluation of where those procedures are and what to consider for future. She is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my most gentle cleaning ever! The hygienist did a great job & Dr. Bains is always awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: Love Dr Bains and her staff. Great communication as to what is going on, what to expect, alternatives, and mindful of insurance coverage and costs. You can tell the staff enjoy being at work, and Dr. Bains herself is so relatable. She inspires confidence.
