Experiencia fantástica: Every appointment with Traverse Dental Associates has been outstanding. Their office staff are friendly and work diligently to fill cancellations, which means they actually call patients to offer sooner appointments when they’re available. I have not experienced this much with other offices and find it refreshing. Dr. Macare and the hygienists are excellent at making sure I’m as comfortable as possible during each visit. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Experiencia positiva: Out of pocket costs are too high. Will run your insurance but they don’t accept their rates. My hygienist Elaine was lovely. Cleaning only took 30 minutes which was nice but had to wait a long time for the dentist. Not always this way but had to wait over 20 minutes for the dentist.

That nervousness instantly went away upon meeting everyone at traverse dental associates. Everyone I spoke to were very kind and welcoming. Experiencia fantástica: I had terrific care and treatment by Dr. Macare and Morgan today. My original appointment was not until late August 2026 but got a call from Traverse Dental clerical staff asking if I would like to come in early due to a cancellation (June 15, 2026). I accepted and when I arrived I had just a five minute wait to be seen. When in the treatment area both Dr. Macare and Morgan reviewed all the work to be done allowing me to give final approval for treatment. Dr. Macare and Morgan were professional but relaxed and kept me informed during the procedures. There were no feelings of be rushed or being a passive participant in my treatment. I trust and appreciate Dr.Macare and Morgan and would recommend them to anyone including my wife who is now scheduled for treatment at Traverse Dental. I

Experiencia fantástica: I feel like I won the dentist lottery finding this practice!! I knew I needed a a new dentist but change is hard. Then a family member recommended this practice. What a gift! Leaving my first appointment, I felt so much more confident that I was going to receive the care my teeth and gums needed. The dentist analyzed the X-rays and did a full oral exam but also took pictures so I could clearly see the problem areas and what needed to be addressed now and likely later. I love engaging with the dentist as a partner in my care with every question answered in an unhurried and compassionate way. This is my last first dental visit! Yay! 10/10!

Bridget is completely brilliant and so light handed with my teeth I thought I was in a day spa for a second. . I can't wait for my next follow up so we can show Josh the progress . This aligner alone is wayyy better than the (pos) flipper they tried to make me in Cadillac MI. It shall only look better from here.

From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with kindness akin to being a patient for generations. Dr. Josh Van Horn has been great - very understanding of my anxiety, does all he can to make me feel comfortable even during dental procedures, and shares his personality by making jokes and telling stories about his family. Dr. Van Horn’s dental assistants, Aubrey and Leen, have also been very kind, genuine, and encouraging.
