You know what they say, look at the doctors hands because they reveal a lot about the touch. When giving an injection you don’t even feel it. When she is working in your mouth, she has the lightest touch. I am deathly afraid of the dentist and have been since I was 2 years old. With her, I have overcome my fear. The assistants are professional and display kindness and attentiveness. The office staff is friendly, kind, accommodating and extremely professional. I was hesitant to be seen as my teeth and gums were in horrible shape. Dr. V was recommended to me by a family member and convinced me that she would be the perfect doctor for me. I went to my first appointment and it was the best decision I ever made. The staff welcomed me and put me at ease! Dr. V and her assistant made me relax and feel comfortable right away. No judgment at all! Purely personal and professional. She listens and will answer any questions you may have. She takes her time with each individual patient she is with at the time and doesn’t jump from room to room seeing others at the same time. She makes you feel special and important. She gives wonderful references to other professionals such as periodontist, endodontist and oral surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Velastegui to EVERYONE!!! She does awesome job, with the teeth cleaning. And advises the kids, how to brush and floss properly ensuring they dont get plaque or any kind of bone loss. For myself, she helped me when i cracked my tooth from start to finish and she put a temporary bond paste to hold the broken tooth until it was completely removed. Depends how you broke it. The positive experiences start with the office staff. They are personable, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Dr V’s assistants are the best and you can see right away that the doctor respects and depends on them. Dr V is truthfully a fantastic dentist. I’ve never had an experience where I felt absolutely no pain during a cleaning and filling. She obviously has state of the art equipment but I think she’s just talented and caring. If you are a little phobic about going to the dentist then Dr V is the one for you. Don’t hesitate calling Dr Belen Velastegui - Carey . Updated 01-10-2023. I’ve been a patient of Dr V’s since 03/22 and my opinion has not changed. My respect for Dr V and her staff has only grown since then. One example of her compassion: a couple of months ago I had some pain and I called to see if I could be seen the next morning. It was late and thought I’d just be leaving a voicemail for the next morning. Dr V picked up, the staff had left for the day and she said she was just walking out and heard the phone. She took the time to take my call, access the schedule for the next day, and queue me in. Unbelievable. But that is the level of care you will get here.

From the moment you enter her "immaculate" studio which looks like something out of a Hollywood dental office sans the Hollywood stars, you know you are in a very warm and caring environment! Her staff is equally professional and welcoming so that one feels they are in the right place and where they need to be. Dr. Velastegui does not "sugarcoat" difficult news when she has to advise you about necessary dental treatment but she delivers it in such a way that is still respectful of the patient's feelings and rights. She also offers dental treatment alternatives whenever possible. Dr. Velastegui is also quite a music enthusiast and makes sure she has nice music playing to allow for a more pleasant dental experience for the patient.
