I had extensive cleaning on three of my teeth and I think that Summer did a fantastic job taking care of my needs today along with Pammy who ensured that I understood about my charges and upcoming care and Stephanie was very attentive as she made sure I knew that I had a prescription waiting for me after I left the office and I also received two text messages confirming my appointments in April and July and Dr. Howard did a fantastic job of numbing the area that Summer had to clean! I would definitely recommend this dental office!

I normally go to the dentist and after which my mouth is sore and I’m kind of disturbed the rest of my day but today I was blessed to have a wonderful experience with Westgate dental. My insurance information was taken care of by an insurance person about the name of Sabrina and before all this happened, Miss Stephanie Pollard at the front desk, greeting with a smile and laughing, and all all had to do was really smile and I want to tell everybody for a great great experience from Dr. Edwards to everybody to staff. They were so pleasant and loving and kind. Let me tell you whatever it is you need taken care of. They’ll take care of it listen, I’m laughing because the insurance information and all that stuff. I’m normally having to call my wife on the phone and all of that but please know Miss Sabrina took care of things and I’m excited

Experiencia fantástica: Actually, I am very disappointed because I am very fond of Dr. Annie Howard. I was scheduled for a six-month cleaning. My last cleaning was April 2025. I was told I had a balance of $70. I asked why there was a balance for a routine cleaning. The bill included X-rays and the insurance company only pays a certain amount, of course. I asked what would today’s visit include. I was told it would include cleaning, X-rays-including bitewings. I said I just wanted a cleaning since it had only been six months since the last x-rays. I went back to the waiting area. I waited over 50 minutes only to be told that the X-rays were mandatory and I could decide if I wanted to stay or leave….It took almost an hour for you to tell me that. I asked twice if there would be a charge if decided to leave and was told no each time. I asked for something in writing and was told the only thing I could get was a print out with a zero balance. I said that would be fine. Now, less than an hour later, I am receiving messages saying I missed an appointment. Really?‍♀️

Experiencia negativa: I couldn’t even make it in the office and the lady at the front desk told me they can’t help me bc I got my baby mind you my kid is in a scroller SLEEP why can’t I get my tooth pulled and it’s an emergency if there are rules about bringing kids to doctor SAY THAT WHEN I CALL put that on your website or something because I feel like that was discrimination I’ll never return to this office my child can not be left in the care of another person because she just had surgery herself as a MOTHER I don’t feel comfortable leaving her so I have to sacrifice bringing her with me she’s SLEEPING IN A SCROLLER YOU CANT EVEN SEE HER AT ALL I don’t know what’s the issue I take her everywhere with me

So I called Sabrina @ Westgate and she says she still haven't heard back, today was my second time calling. I told her, "I would call BCBS and see what's taking so long to get a quote, it's going on 3 weeks now. I just got off the phone with BC and they told me, "no paper work was NEVER submitted to them on my behalf, none other than my visit on 4/10". I will be finding another Dentist, will never step foot in their door or sit in they chair ever again. I'm sure I can find a Dentist office that won't lie to their patients.

For example, front desk receptionist Mrs. Stephanie, has the prettiest smile and has a great sense of humor that makes her customers feel special and welcomed , in person and by phone. Also, Insurance Coordinator, Ms. Sabrina, forgive me if I have your title wrong, but you are phenomenal at handling our insurance claims. Sabrina is very knowledgeable of how the different insurance agencies work and Westgate Dental's office system. She knows her stuff....She makes sure that our accounts are accurate and that her customers understand their bills and makes sure that they are truly satisfied to the best of her ability. I don't know everyone's name; however, the entire staff at Westgate Dental are super friendly, pleasant, and always provides exceptional customer services. I have chosen Dr. Edwards' office for over 20 years and I will never be convinced to go anywhere else. The facility is gorgoeus and stays clean. Ladies, please continue to provide excellent customer service that the world has never seen. Your kind gestures are appreciated.
