Experiencia negativa: I came to this establishment yesterday with my mother to observe if this was a place I would potentially want to come and get service. In my observations I noticed a very unfriendly environment upon our arrival. Immediately they asked my mom to pay like she was some criminal or something. However, I noticed other patients coming in (another race) who were not asked to pay upfront. I was very disappointed in what I saw I am not a person who like to always bring up race, but according what was observed it draws to that. I did not feel welcomed and I was very disturbed in how my mom was treated and that there were no people working in there that looked like me or my mom. Patients that were waiting in the lobby even seemed rude or upset that we were in there. Please work on your customer service and equality to make "ALL" feel welcome.

Experiencia fantástica: I typically only leave reviews when I have good things to say. That’s exactly the case for Sandra Martin Dentistry. I see why they are booked until some far off month in 2026. First of all, they called me to get in on a cancelled appointment. I took it for my annual check/cleaning. From the moment I walked in the door for my appointment, the lady at the front desk anticipated who I was from the log. That was kinda cool. Then, I first met with Sonya. She greeted me with a smile. She was nice and had small talk with me and took my X-Rays. Then Dr. Sandra Martin herself came in and checked my dentals. She was nice as well. They both asked me about where I’m from and complimented how my tooth looked and encouraged me to keep up good hygiene. Then what was also a real good touch is how Dr. Martin realized my son had come in a couple weeks ago and put 2 & 2 together. They both thanked me for my service cause Sonya has a significant other in the Navy and Dr. Martin’s father served in the Army as well. Then I went to get my cleaning done. I feel so bad I can’t remember her name but she was super nice as well. We connected on several things in our conversation like weather in NC and AZ and of course food. Mainly pizza and donuts. She even gave me her daughters instagram because she is an influencer and gives reviews on food spots. You already know my family is going to try them out. I just gotta say that this dental office didn’t just treat me like a customer or a client. They treated me like a friend. We just moved to NC last month, so finding places that make you feel welcome is a great feeling in a new place. I really appreciate everyone in that office. I would recommend anyone and everyone to get in with this office. Thank you Dr. Sandra Martin and your entire staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Sandra Martin and her team are absolutely fantastic! My husband was going to her before we were married and she gifted us both with a free whitening before our wedding. I noped out of dentist visits a few years after that due to a bad experience at another practice I’d been using. When I could no longer avoid dental care she and her team welcomed me with nothing but kindness and understanding and helped me get my teef right! So much so, I now love going to the dentist! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am SO HAPPY to report that I finally found a new dentist! After my dentist retired in early 2023, I have been on a hunt for a dentist. Thank goodness to my daughter running into my old hygienist Kristen, and Kristen giving her the info to Dr. Martin, I not only found a dentist that I can trust, but I am reunited with my hygienist, Kristen, who I absolutely LOVE! Dr. Martin, Sandy, as she introduced herself to me, was so nice and she thoroughly explained the condition of my teeth and the care that is needed. I am excited for my next visit.

Experiencia negativa: This was my dentist for over 17 years! I was charged for services that I was specifically told (and I have it in writing) that I would NOT be charged for. I wrote Ms Martin a letter to explain the situation and received a letter back today from her admitting they made a mistake however she has told me to find another dentist!! After giving this business thousands of dollars from my family going there and she does this over $100.00!!! BEWARE!!!! Especially when they tell you NO CHARGE!

Honestly, it’s like going to visit a friend. She really takes a personal interest in her patients. I completely trust her with my dental care. I’ve had a lot of major issues with my teeth and we’ve always approached it very conservatively which I appreciate. The staff is always friendly. I have recommended her to all my family and friends.

I laid there for about 15min or so waiting for my final follow-up and discharge. I am aware that things happen but just communicating to help keep things on the right track. This may go unnoticed by many, but for some people it adds a layer of comfort that isn’t often experienced in a dental or medical setting. I can’t recommend Dr Martin’s practice highly enough!

Experiencia fantástica: My past Dentist was out of town last Friday. I had a crown fail, massive swelling, and excruciating pain Friday afternoon. Past dentist's secretary said I could make appointment with dentist for 11:30 MONDAY. Said there was no one else to help over weekend. Dr. Martin's website said open till 3:00 Saturday. She was booked solid, but made time for me. She lanced swollen tissue, drained infection, gave me anti inflammatory meds, and pain meds. Took xrays and recommended an endodontist for root canal for Monday. Endodontist was excellent also. Tooth was hopeless. He gave me a choice of bridge or implant. He does not do either procedure. Recommended I return to Dr. Martin and discuss plan. I chose to let her do a bridge. She extracted the tooth today Wednesday. She and her staff were fantastic during the entire procedure. She is now my Family's Dental Partner.

Ms. Martin and Ms Kerri were very professional both of them went above and beyond during my dental visit, i.e, Ms. Martin has created a beautiful outdoor scenery with a birdhouse and beautiful flowers to watch while you are getting your procedure done. Last but not least, I like to talk so they made me feel very welcomed with good conversation which helped me to be more comfortable doing my cleaning procedure. Dr. Martin was so incredibly gentle with her, she brought my daughter stuffed animals to snuggle during the procedure, had the cutest names for each item she was using, told my daughter each step she was working on, and just showed an enormous amount of love and care that was well beyond anything that I’ve experienced with a dentist. I so greatly appreciate her delicate and sweet style. My daughter left asking excitedly about her next time she could visit Dr. Martin!

Experiencia negativa: Good dentist, bad billing. We are new to the area and needed to find a dentist. I read lots of reviews and decided on Dr. Martin. Mind you, there are LOTS of dentists with great reviews in our area. When I called to make an appointment, I asked two questions: 1) Are you accepting new patients? and 2) Do you accept my insurance? I specifically asked if our visits would be 100% covered or would there be a co-pay. They checked and said that our visit would be covered. Great – right? Wrong! I scheduled my appointment. Dr. Martin, the hygienist, and the staff were professional and friendly. When I left, they said I owed nothing. WEEKS later, I get a bill from them for $40.40. When I called to ask why, I was told that because of our insurance, the entire bill wasn’t paid. Since they basically lied to me during my initial call, I asked them to waive the bill. They refused. Bad business practice, and we will never go back.

Within an hours time, she (not her staff) text me back and gave me two openings. I would give her 7 stars if I could. Then that morning before my appointment she calls to check on me. Then she (not her staff) called me that evening to check on me again. She showed genuinely heart felt compassion. To top it off, I FELT ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN during the extraction. I've never know of a Dr. to take the time to be one on one with their patient like this and I'm a new patient. Please choose her.
