Refresh Dental

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Koener and Shyann are absolutely the best. Even with a few surprises during a root canal, their compassion and explain everything as they go, I knew I was in wonderful hands.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a consultation with Dr. Koerner regarding my dental repair plan, and he thoroughly explained each option, highlighting both the similarities and the differences. His guidance helped me understand which approach would suit me best. I left feeling confident and fully informed about the next steps. Thank you, Dr. Koerner.

Experiencia fantástica: The Dr and staff are excellent in explaining all your potions, I decided on having my cracked tooth with a crown removed rather than getting a Root canal to save a tooth that had a limited time of life left anyways, everyone there is excellent Next day, Dr Koerner is excellent, removed my tooth with no issues, and took the time to explain to me why it was a good decision, and as usual all of the staff including Pam are extremely knowledgeable, see everyone in 3 months to discuss my options for replacing 4 teeth ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and professional staff. Cates about the patients. I would highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Great service friendly people always make you feel welcome .

Experiencia negativa: What a disappointing experience and colossal waste of time. I made an appointment with this dental practice over three weeks ago and provided all of my personal and insurance information without issue. I arranged to have a babysitter watch my young child to go to my appointment only to be told upon arrival that I could not be found in my insurance portal and thus I could not be seen. This was after I was forced to check in on a tablet and then re-verify all of my information for my cell phone and also consent to my appointment being recorded for AI transcribing. I asked the receptionist, who did not seem to care very much about her job, maybe that’s why they have a tablet do everything, why no one called me to tell me that my insurance was an issue prior to my arrival. She stated she didn’t really know and had to ask. The office manager also told me she wouldn’t call my insurance to see what the issue was and that I needed to call my insurance and find out why it wasn’t able to be found, but I wouldn’t be seen today either way “because it usually takes a long time to get through to insurance.” This has not been an issue for me ever before and this dismal staff made no attempts to troubleshoot, resolve the problem, call themselves or do anything else, but the absolute bare minimum. With as many dental providers as there are in this area, it is shocking to me that this place can stay open. I would not recommend them to anyone but those who enjoy having their time wasted.

Experiencia negativa: Friendly staff / needs new management Felt like a number / was never even asked how the new filling felt? Just come back if its bothering you Was way overbooked Had a small filling took almost 2 hours My Last cleaning there felt rushed and dont think they did as good of a job as in the oast

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and competent.

Experiencia negativa: Automatic schedule system is a joke. Dental quality of fillings is questionable. This place has had high turnover the last few years. I'm looking elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here. The assistant, Nayomi, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. All the staff were warm and contributed to a positive experience. I had multiple issues with my teeth, and both the doctor and the assistants ensured that everything was properly addressed and that the necessary treatments were carried out. I highly recommend Refresh Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience at Refresh Dental today getting my permanent crown. I I highly recommend Refresh. Thank you all!

Experiencia fantástica: I walked in looking for a second opinion and walked out with a new dentist! I felt comfortable and respected and feel like I will be in great hands!

Experiencia fantástica: Kind, gentle and explainative. I would recommend them to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderful team right from reception to the dentist! I received excellent, compassionate care. Highly recommended.

Experiencia positiva: Pam, the receptionist, will attempt to work wonders to meet your scheduling needs. She is fantastic. I love Dr. Koerner too! She is top notch and listens to and addresses all concerns. The family is not so pleased with what seems to be a constant turnover of dental hygienists, although all are friendly, we would prefer to have more consistency and experience here.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice, friendly and competent people

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here are incredible! I’ve been a patient at Refresh Dental for several years, and their care remains top-tier. When I experienced sudden tooth pain over the weekend, Pam was able to fit me in for a same-day appointment on the Monday morning. Dr. Koerner’s exam was thorough and precise; she used several diagnostic steps to quickly identify the root cause. I was immediately referred to Dr. Thomas at Rochester Endodontics (who is also a gem!) for a root canal retreat. I was able to start antibiotics right away and have already scheduled my follow-up. The entire team—doctors, hygienists, and front desk—is friendly, accommodating, and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming here for the foreseeable future! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: They were absolutely amazing with my almost 3 year old ! The staff made him feel comfortable and he also had some fun ! We will definitely be back !!

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant experience! Everyone was very friendly. Hygienist did a great job!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to Refresh Dental in Rochester Hills for my dental care since several years. The dentists and the hygienists there are all skilled and professional, and the whole staff is very friendly, their customer care is really great. I would recommend this place to anybidy living in my area.

Experiencia negativa: NOT GREAT! The dental hygienists here are the BEST part of the office - very thorough and professional - although, wish they were slotted more time for cleanings. They do the best in within the time limits they are given, which are probably based upon Insurance Company payment for their time. The negatives are with the scheduling and front office crew. Many rescheduling and/or billing issues have occurred throughout the few years I have been going there. Their third-party scheduling company is NOT good. Always recommend calling their front-desk directly or you will be confused... and so will the office. Unclear why they hire this outside company at all!

Experiencia fantástica: I am not one to normally write a review but for this specific instance I have too. This office has completely changed my life. After visiting multiple dentist over the years each one has only provided worse news due to the condition of my teeth to the point of losing hope all together. Dr. Koerner completely changed that! For the first time in over 5-6 years I can go in public and smile with out being completely embarrassed, she did such an amazing job restoring my teeth and not only was able to able to save my teeth that I have only been told they would need to be exacted (which the Dr did give me multiple different options and possibilities because every tooth in my mouth was in horrible condition due to a health condition of mine and we did not know what was going to occur until we started working on them) but they look absolutely amazing and they are not even fully complete yet. She went above and beyond and words can’t truly express how grateful I am. Not only did she do what I thought was going to be impossible for myself, she has also done an amazing job with 4 of my kids ranging from 8-14. My children previously went to a pediatric dentist whose work failed after only a few months and she has been able to get all of their teeth back to looking amazing. She is extremely thorough and walks you through each step and is honest up front giving you the best case and worse case scenario. She is up front and honest and she is works great with younger kids with her kindness and patience. My youngest has even expressed how she wants to become a dentist after having work done but also watching work being done to my other children and myself. Dr. Koerner could have just went and finished the job but because my youngest was so interested in the details and how everything was done, she took the extra time to explain and show her while she was working. The office staff is also extremely kind and helpful. Having been to quite a few dentist’s over the years and each one has had their own flaws I would recommend this office to everyone. The office is super clean and updated. There has been no surprise bills like I have had in previous dental offices. I would like to name individually but everyone in the office has been amazing. I was hesitant on taking my children to a dental office that wasn’t specially for children and I am extremely happy to have made the change. The positive encouragement by everyone in the office has my children going the extra mile at home with their own dental hygiene and they are proud to go back into the office to show them how well they are doing. Side note: while it is embarrassing I plan to provide before and after pictures of my own teeth once they are all done in a couple months.

Experiencia negativa: Took my daughter here, had her teeth cleaned., done in 30 minutes, then she sat for an hour waiting for the dentist to check her for 30 seconds. Rude dentist

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly, professional and extremely competent. Great dental experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Great people and excellent dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: The crown procedure that was performed went very well. The dentist and assistant were very professional. Also very nice

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic bedside manner. Knowledgeable and professional yet personable. One of the best dental experiences I've had.

Experiencia positiva: Good

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist and the group of assistants were very professional and gentle. Great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr K. Is the best. Had about 10 or 12 extractions all in the same day. Didn’t feel a thing. Like who goes to the dentist and doesn’t feel something, right? She did my dental work is 4 hrs putting in an upper plate. Amazing!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, caring, and compassionate staff. I am very impressed by how the staff have been gracious, listened, and have addressed my daughters’ dental needs. I have always come away thankful that I found and chose to register my children at this dental office. The professionalism from all the staff is commendable. Family, you rock!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: They were very professional and when the Dr discovered I had a small fracture in my tooth they found time to repair that after my cleaning was done. Both the Dr and my hygienist were very gentle and pain free. I would recommend them .

Experiencia fantástica: I feel so fortunate to have such a great dentist and her staff! Dr Olga and Pam at the front desk have come to my rescue with dental issues - time and time again!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is always so friendly from the front desk to the back. The dentist and dental hygienist were able to explain everything and answered all of my questions and come up with a plan. They definitely have a 5 star rating from me.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Olga was awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleased from front office girls to the dentist chair. I recently had a temporary crown put on and Dr. Liz is so kind and gentle with her patients. I am pleased keep up your great performance.

Experiencia fantástica: The front desk receptionist has been there for years and is fabulous. Very accommodating and always cheerful and polite. I like the dentist too. She is VERY knowledgeable and thorough. Very happy here.

Experiencia fantástica: Accommodating and professional. Took me immediately for evaluation.

Experiencia fantástica: Had back to back visits and the care that was taken exceeded my expectations. I'm glad my Daughter turned us on to Refresh Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Cheyenne hit me up to let me know that I could roll in early. Good people, good ladies.

Experiencia fantástica: The Refresh Dental is well equipped, the staff is always very friendly and the professionals are attentive, caring and competent.

Experiencia fantástica: I always feel I get 100% quality care and complete professionalism with each visit at Refresh Dental - I'll be a customer there for a long time :-)

Experiencia negativa: Not so friendly

Experiencia fantástica: My hygienist was great, and was very professional and thorough

Experiencia fantástica: I had plenty of time spent in Refresh this year with 2 crown replacements and 2 cavity fillings along with mouth guard. I am very happy with their quality, their personalities, and the office in general. Plan to stay with them for a long, long time!

Experiencia fantástica: Dentist saw me immediately and explained what caused the problem and the steps I needed to follow.

Experiencia fantástica: Great visit. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful

Experiencia fantástica: No pressure here. You get to make your own decisions. The staff is so professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: From the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist, it’s always a positive experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Office staff is wonderful! Been going here for 10 years and they always take good care of me. Dr. V is awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: They are very caring. My son needed a lot of work and he was pretty scared but he handled it like a champ because his dentist was very calm and helped make him feel comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful caring staff and clean place

Experiencia fantástica: Thorough explanation of the care given along with recommendations. No surprises on the charge amount before and afterwords. Would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: My implant cap fell out. The dentist was truly excellent upbeat & professional she made the experience of cementing the tooth back in easy and quick. I was very upset & nervous about it. She explained the process and put me at ease, checking that the implant shaft was stable & secure it was a very pleasant experience

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleased with the exceptional treatment. It has been a long time since I have seen a dentist.I felt relaxed and at ease the way I was treated.Special place from the front desk to the very special Dental assistants and of course my wonderful very special Dentist Dr.Koerner!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist who replaced a cracked filling was considerate, thorough, and personable. I’ve been a patient at Refresh since the practice was Dentists on Main, and I appreciate the high standard of care.

Experiencia fantástica: My dentist is brilliant, she makes you feel like a friend and took care of my needs with compassion. Everyone in this office works together like a well oiled machine. They are kind and amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: If I didn't have to pay attention to keeping my tongue on the opposite side of my mouth, I might have ended up falling asleep during a fairly gnarly procedure. Fantastic experience with something I had been dreading.

Experiencia fantástica: Less painful and nice people.

Experiencia fantástica: Lost a crown at 9:30A, called Refresh Dental and was scheduled for 12 noon. Great service! New crown in 2 weeks. Crown installed on schedule.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter never had a cavity got fillings she didn't need. The filling kept falling out four times once even in the chair. New dentist said they weren't needed. We were 30 year patients stayed with multiple ownership changes. We have moved to another dentist. No stars if I could.

Experiencia fantástica: Great service

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Koerner, Eliza Fredette, her entire staff starting from the front desk to the practioners/nurse are all very courteous and treat the patients. Today I got my deep cleaning done, Kathy with loads of patience attended to problems and effectively took care. I highly recommend Refresh Dental, which is in Rochest Hills, MI

Experiencia fantástica: Everything was good, except the long wait

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was good but the receptionist was exceptional. Her lovely polite appropriate way she helped patrons was something you don't see much in this day and age.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service and very professional.

Experiencia fantástica: All staff are really wonderful and very pleasant. Dr Koerner is great‼️

Experiencia fantástica: Hygienist was great. Personable and very efficient.

Experiencia negativa: The dentists and hygienists are nice enough, but the way they run business is ridiculous. Of the 4 appointments I’ve scheduled with them I think 3 of them have had to be cancelled or rescheduled. Today I walk in for my appointment and the receptionist says my appointment was cancelled. I said I didn’t receive anything that said it was cancelled. She said they sent an email a week ago. I attached photos of the emails I received, neither of which say cancelled ANYWHERE. In fact, one is an appointment confirmation saying they will see me. They didn’t even bother to call and leave a voicemail which would have been a much more direct way of communicating a cancellation. I am finding a new dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t been to the dentist in a while (6-7 years!), and my experience so far has been so amazing! I was able to get an appointment as a new patient within less than one week, and experienced little to no pain during my deep cleaning and with Xrays and everything! The assistant Cheyanne, really helped me feel comfortable and helped with my anxiety! I really appreciated her comfort while getting my fillings done. Pam at the front desk is also very friendly! :) also the dentists!! Ive seen 2, and both were amazing!! Love my new dental office!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Eliza, her amazing assistant and the wonderful front receptionist were positively impressive...showing an exceptional level of customer care and attention for both my wife and for me, especially considering that we ran into unexpected challenges in order to address unknown dental issues caused while I served in the military. Patient, personable professionals all: that's who the team at Refresh Dental (Rochester, MI) proved to be! An excellent investment of your trust for dental care. :) CC Sr., Michigan

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience! The staff was really friendly and made everything super easy. Definitely recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent staff!! Treated me like family even though they had to whack my tooth. Seriously so professional they explained all my options and helped me determine the best course of action. Thanks guys and God bless!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great dental work & made me feel comfortable!

Experiencia fantástica: Always a pleasure when I visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my second visit and even though it was a long appointment for a very complicated procedure, they still made my visit pleasant...Im very pleased with this office and the dentist!

Experiencia positiva: they offered same day visit for a dental emergency and very friendly service. However the crown took really quite a while, 5 weeks until I was able to get the permanent one. I was told that I am the "lucky" one

Experiencia fantástica: Great doctors. Pleasant experience. I highly recommend refresh dental for all your dental needs especially if you are a "chicken or a big baby like me" lol. They all made me feel so relaxed. Everyone there is so considerate.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff support and a five star dentist. Personal care. Very happy I chose Refresh Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is very friendly. Check in is quick & easy. Appointments are right on schedule.

Experiencia fantástica: They are a great dental facility. We’ve been going to this place for many years.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional staff with state of the art equipment. Highly trained and gentle dental hygienists.

Experiencia fantástica: They are fantastic! Was able to get me in next day for an extraction after my tooth broke. Everyone was very kind. The dentist and her assistant were very professional and explained everything as they were doing it. I would highly recommend Refresh Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience, highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! My daughter is 10 and soo nervous about the dentist, but now that she goes to this office, she has no problems with going to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: The ladies at refresh were so fantastic got me in within an hour for an emergency extraction didn't ask for a referral or make me wait to care of my pain and we're friendly and amazing thanks again

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this location for Dentistry for over 20 years. They continue to impress with constant improvement, continuous patient care and excellent service. Looking forward to the next twenty years.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service in prep for a crown and, of course, in routine matters such as cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good service

Experiencia negativa: So disappointing! On 02-27-24, I was seen in Rochester, Mi office for a crown that had come off 2 days previously, whereupon x-rays were taken and I was given a few treatment options by a Dr. Nihan Akhtar, one being a post & core and crown, which I opted for. I called the office when I got home to schedule a follow-up appointment with the dentist who had treated me in the past, Dr. Olga Yankelevich. Today I saw Dr. Olga and she informed me the base of that tooth and the wall was too thin to perform the proposed post&core procedure and that it would not last and I would be wasting my money. I graciously thanked her for her honesty and asked why Dr. Akhtar offered that to begin with and Dr. Olga said she did not know. I have been going to this dental office for over 40 years and when Dr. Steven Reynolds sold the business, the professional services began a downward slide and in my opinion it’s time for me to bailout. If Dr. Olga was full-time at this office, I might reconsider, but my only hope is to find a dentist with as much experience, knowledge, compassion and honesty as she has afforded me, my husband and most likely anyone who has been privileged to be her patient. I wish her nothing but the best life has to offer.

Experiencia fantástica: I love Dr. Olga and Sabrina. Pam is so nice and helpful. Always great, fast service! Alexis the manager is amazing and Anslie is fantastic !!!! Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ahktar is a credit to your practice, knowledgeable and friendly she makes the dental experience stress free

Experiencia fantástica: I have had awful experiences in the past with dental visits. I have had nothing but good experiences at Refresh in Rochester. They are gentle, considerate and always take the time to discuss my needs, options and health strategies. The front desk gals are wonderful too, very helpful and kind. Thank you! I highly recommend, keep your teeth healthy!

Experiencia fantástica: Great service...kind staff!♡

Experiencia fantástica: The best of the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service. Very professional,

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them zero stars I would. That staff (office manager and dentist)were rude, kept mixing up information, and I even had to remind them to to floss my teeth… the one step that almost everyone hears what they should be doing more when they go to the dentist. I will not be going back. The only good thing about that place is Pam at the front desk. She’s an angel and needs a raise for dealing with those people.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ahtkar is just wonderful. Patient, skilled, knowledgeable and kind. And all the staff? From Pam, friendly front desk, to the dental assistants, especially Ainsley Smith - everyone is tops.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice atmosphere, large office, friendly staff, didn’t have to wait very long. Was impressed with dentist. I compared him to my last DDS & he was very personable, explained my X-rays in great detail, answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable, no anxiety, even though I have 3 fillings to take care of which I’m sure will be a painless experience.
