Experiencia fantástica: Protodental was a fantastic dental experience. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but at ProtoDental they make it so easy from the moment you walk through the front door you are greeted with a smile. The dental hygienist and Dentist (I saw Andrew), were friendly and very transparent about everything. Nothing felt rushed, they explained everything to me, so I felt like part of the discussion. After searching for a while for a great dentist office, I finally found one!

Experiencia fantástica: My elderly mother has been seeing Proto Dental for over a year that started with some major work. Her retuning for continuing treatment is her stamp of approval!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Proto and his staff are exceptional. Not only are their professionalism and skill number one in the field, they are hands down, the friendliest and most organized office around. I can say a million positive comments above everyone there. Most important to share though, is my most recent experience with Dr. Proto. For over 6 months I was being treated by another dentist for an issue with a tooth that quickly exacerbated. It escalated to severe facial pain on the whole left side of my face, extreme sensitivity to heat/cold/wind etc,…. I ended up in the ER…..the worst medical experience of my life. This other dentist misdiagnosed me with a chronic pain condition called trigeminal neuralgia. This led to numerous tests, appointments with a neurologist, mounting medical bills (still paying off debt), medications, the need to pull a tooth, etc. My pain ended up being mostly managed by medication, however there was one symptom that was not improving (inflamed roof of my mouth) and I finally decided to seek a second opinion with Dr. Proto. Given the details of my condition, he offered to see me immediately in his office, after hours, to conduct a CT scan, and identified a severe infection in the target tooth that if had gone on any longer would’ve likely perforated my sinus and possibly led to several other medical issues. The scan obviously should’ve been done months ago. Dr. Proto immediately put me on the right track regarding treatment and I’m now pain-free and med-free for months. I will never trust anyone else again with my dental needs. So grateful for him and everyone at the office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Proto displays academic excellence, professionalism, a great bedside manner and a very caring demeanor. His office staff have always been courteous, pleasant and helpful. I have been a patient of his for many years now and despite the fact that I have moved outside New York, I still travel back for any dental problems. I have nothing but praise for his practice and recommend him highly!

Experiencia fantástica: Extraordinary experience! ✨️ It is difficult to express the level of positive energy at this practice. Cheerful friendliness, effortless courtesy, professionalism, excellence in communicating the most complicated dental concepts / procedures... Within a few minutes of my first encounter, I honestly felt like I was with new friends...(Who happen to be incredibly good at what they do)! Truly welcomed me. Put me at ease in what I feared was a dental emergency. Swiftly and excellently examined my somewhat complicated dental state, and expertly laid out our plan of care - all the while making certain i was comfortable and clearly understood. I will need a good bit of work in the months ahead to get my mouth back to a healthy condition. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to it. Thank you, Dr Andrew Proto and all the lovely, personabl staff I had the joy of meeting today. Kudos - you are THE BEST.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with my dentist today for a routine cleaning, she did a great job … Proto Dental is a great place for all your dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: There is nothing more frightening than changing dentists. I wanted to leave my old dentist because I wasn't getting the care I needed. I have Metastatic breast cancer and my teeth have been deteriorating. My daughter found Proto Dental and everyone in Babylon had nothing but good things to say. From the first day went I could not believe the difference in care. New exrays great hygienist and Doctor Andrew is excellent. Everytime I go Dr. Andrew goes over everything with me and explains thing so I can understand exactly what he is doing & together we came up with a plan good for me. I never feel pain. He is so gentle. I use to dred going to a dentist but no more. Every is just so nice and I don't feel like it's a get'em in get'em out assembly line. Thank you everyone at Proto for making my experience so wonderful Pat F.

He is an exceptional dentist who consistently goes above and beyond for his patients. From the moment you walk in, he makes sure you’re comfortable and well cared for, taking the time to explain things and never making you feel rushed. What really sets Dr. Proto apart is how personal his care is. He remembers details about my family and asks about my life in a way that feels sincere and thoughtful, not transactional.
