My 8 yr old is terrified of dentists and went in for an emergency situation and didn't cry once and was at ease throughout the visit. Was prescribed medication and with a return date for future dental work. Don't mind the drive at all!! Thank you for the wonderful experience and for having wonderful staff!!

I had 3 kiddos at one time & she got us in & out & still managed to sit down with me & answer all of my questions to the best of her ability. We never felt rushed. My kids are normally afraid of the dentist & today when we left they all had smiles.

Experiencia fantástica: Our first visit to Sweet Tooth was today and we felt like have been going there for the last 20 yrs. The front desk staff made us feel like regular patients and family and were extremely friendly and helpful in processing into the clinic for or 9 yr old daughter. The procedure staff and Dr Robert's were awesome and our daughters procedure for fillings and caps was painless. OUR DAUGHTER ACTUALLY WALKED OUT WHEN DONE WOTH A SMILE and said it was best dentist and staff she has ever been and looks forward to her next visit what an awesome experience.we give it 7 stars

Experiencia negativa: I really wanted to like this office. I actually chose my insurance based off the fact this office is Dr owned. I had reservations on doing a DHMO plan because my kids have always gone to burleson pediatric and I didn’t like being limited on who they could see but after looking into Dr. Tareen I liked her credentials and felt comfortable. That being said my kids first visits for checkups she was pleasant and very personable. I liked her and my kids liked her. Both kids needed treatment so we set that up, this is where my issues began. One child was seen initially for a filling or a crown as “worst case scenario” but I was assured this was unlikely. I was told nitrous was not a covered expense and I’d have to pay out of pocket. I did. They took my child back and brought him back to me with a mouth full of gauze and a crown after about 20 minutes. No one stopped to come tell me treatment had switched from a filling to a crown and we did not receive after care paper work until we had left the office. I found this strange as in the past burleson pediatric always stopped to let me know they were switching to “worst case scenario” before proceeding. Then my other child was set to have 8 sealants done, I paid out of pocket for 4. When we got home I looked in her mouth to see they only did 4 or 5 out of the 8. I called for an explanation and was told the others weren’t done because her teeth weren’t erupted enough, that’s understandable but again wasn’t communicated until I called and asked and requested a refund. Then I get a EOB for the first child’s dental procedure and see my portion was $50 for nitrous not the $99 they charged me. I called for clarification and was eventually transferred to Corey who was exceptionally rude the entire time talking to me like I don’t know what I’m talking about even going as far as saying “we can call your insurance if you want”. I then brought up my other concerns with my children and was told she had already had a office meeting and addressed it. I took it upon myself to call my insurance for clarification to which they explained I was due a refund per the contractual amount allowed to be charged. This was in February/March. I relayed this to Corey and she still refused and then said she was sending in a narrative to my insurance, I waited the 30 days and reached back out to insurance and was assured again I was due a refund or a credit. I gave this office the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to bring my younger child for a cleaning and keep my older children’s appointments. When I arrived for said appointment I was told there is a copay, I informed them the account should have a credit. The woman was kind and said she’d look into it, I sat down and she called me back up to tell me there was no refund or credit so I explained why I presumed there was and she offered to call the dr and that’s when Corey leaned over and said “she’s not going to give her a refund”. So then she said I can call your insurance, I said great, read her the message that insurance had sent me saying she herself had been relayed that I was due a refund. She then proceeded to tell me they wouldn’t see my child until this was resolved. Instead of taking my child back, doing his checkup while we sat for 30 minutes with insurance on the phone. I told her cancel the appointment all together. Whatever insurance representative she got ahold of agreed to send a corrected EOB at her request and she printed me a cancelation receipt and we left. I called my insurance and again was told no I was due a refund and the office was incorrect, he contacted them and low and behold guess who calls me to apologize, issue a refund and tell me how valued our family is to their practice and would I consider rescheduling my children’s appointments because it was a miscommunication? Only after she was rude to me & the “kind” lady next to her smiled when I was told no refund in the office. It’s a shame but bad office staff who treat patients badly can ruin a practice.

Experiencia fantástica: The cool sun glasses and tvs really helped distract (as much as possibly being in your face working, bc that’s what it takes to do dental work) The dr was awesome! Very gentle and honest! He has never been so comfortable in the dentist office until we found SWEET TOOTH

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! It was so difficult finding a good pediatric dentist in Burleson, so I was thrilled to have found Sweet Tooth. I took my son in for his first dental visit. He’s 2.5, and while it was definitely an adjustment for him, I’m excited we had such a great visit. And, for 2.5, he did awesome. Dr. Tareen is kind and was so good with my son. The front office staff have been so helpful through getting more info about the office and insurance. The office is super clean and they had a play area full of activities so I could fill out paper work while my son played. Then, at the end of his visit, he got a prize, which he was stoked about. It was perfect. I’ll be telling all of my friends about this practice. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Although there are many pediatric offices closer to me, I gladly drive an extra 45 minutes because their hospitality, care, and attention make it completely worth it.

When scheduling his procedure, I was told I would be able be right outside the room. When I was called to confirm the appointment, I was told the exact opposite and the receptionist was quite rude about it. Felt like she was reading from a script. So we canceled the appointment and went to another destiny office

Experiencia negativa: Today (December 22nd), when planning the treatment plan for my child, I was falsely accused of recording and violating HIPAA when I was simply trying to view my child's school calendar to schedule her treatment by the receptionist. There needs to be customer service training to avoid these false accusations in the future because a different customer may have a different reaction.

I never felt rushed, was able to ask questions, and felt as though my kids received the BEST dental care. And Sweet Tooth accepts Medicaid! It’s so hard to find a good pediatric dentist that accepts Medicaid and is genuinely patient with a child on the spectrum. I cannot recommend this office enough!

She even got a little goodie bag, sticker and a token for the little prize machine they have there. From the time we got there to the time we left she was a happy camper. All the dental staff were friendly fast and efficient and got my daughter to see the dentist the same day. The wait time was fast and the dentist was very knowledgeable, talented and had an amazing personality. The doctors assistant Lupita was nice from the beginning and super understanding with my 4 year old having a lot of anxiety. Dr. Mira was the best kids dentist I’ve been too even for me as an adult I wished my parents took me to a dentist place like this. They have so many TVs and get a little prize at the end of the appointment. I wish I can give this 6/5 stars because it was that good.

My child had an emergency and was able to be seen immediately and was treated so kindly by all the staff and Dr. Tareen herself. Everything was explained in detail and I felt my child was cared for, even in a scary situation. This was night and day to what I experienced somewhere else. I highly recommend this office!

The atmosphere alone was great and the pastel aesthetic decor definitely made it feel very welcoming. Everyone made sure to communicate and explain procedures on a step by step process. My kiddos we absolutely comfortable considering their first time here as well. We all look forward to the next visit !

Experiencia fantástica: The best dentist my kids have ever had! The office looks like the tooth fairy’s home, lol. And the entire staff is so sweet!! You can tell they all really love kids!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Tareen is amazing. We went to IKIDS in waxahachie and they were very rude an and wanted to charge us an arm and leg. We came here and felt so welcomed and they are so much cheaper. We can't wait to bring other kids here.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the only dentist office my son is not terrified of. The entire staff is very friendly, understanding and patient with him. They took such good care of him today when he had his procedure.

Experiencia negativa: If your child is only needing a cleaning this place is perfect for you but other than that you are not allowed in the back with your child. The biggest reasons for me trying this place was the kid friendly atmosphere and location due to moving. Her previous dentist allowed me to be present for all non invasive procedures such as sealants and they took the time to talk me and my child through it all and what was being done step by step. You would think a place that’s a pediatric establishment would allow you to be with your child. Needless to say we won’t be coming back and find a more family friendly establishment that allows a parent in the back for procedures.

Experiencia positiva: Update: The person who made the billing mistake no longer works there. New billing employee gave me credit for the extra charge. However, I left it at 4 stars because it takes 3 months to get scheduled for treatment, and if you reschedule it is another 3 months. Dentist is knowledgeable & friendly. My kids were seen quickly, and facilities are clean & updated. Unfortunately whoever does billing did not verify my insurance correctly and I ended up having to pay twice as much. This had never happened to me in the almost 18yrs i’ve been taking my kids to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place! Since being in Crowley we’ve been coming here. My son was terrified of dentists but the staff is so sweet and always makes sure he’s comfortable!
