Experiencia fantástica: I had TMJ pain. I went here for an evaluation and consult. Everything about the office and my experience was high quality. The owner of this dental practice is Dr. Ma and she provided all of the evaluation and services on my visit. She has very high dental credentials. The x-rays showed my TMJ joint and the problem. I was given a complete explanation of the problem and the treatments to correct it. I learned a lot about my TMJ problem. The cost was reasonable for x-rays and the consult visit. My dental insurance covered part of this cost. If a person wants to know their out-of-pocket expense before going to this office, I expect they can ask about it. Before this visit I did not know anything about the TMJ joint. Now I understand it and I have options for treatment and I know the cost ahead.

Great Practice. I went for a Consultation a Few Years ago. Should Have Chosen this Practice as my Primary Dental Care. i chose someone else and wasted my money. So Now I will Stay with Prime Dental. I think it will Work out Fine. Especially since I don't Have Insurance and they offer an "in House" Plan of Their Own.

Each had its own pros and cons, yet none provided truly comprehensive care that I was looking for—until I found Dr. Ma at Prime Dental Care. For the first time, I learned many essential things, such as the detailed coverage of my dental insurance, how periodontal issues should be treated and maintained, which treatments are the current priorities, what future treatments may be needed, and why each step is necessary. Dr. Ma explained clearly how my dental insurance could help, and she also helped me develop a well-organized plan for long-term treatment and prevention. In particular, I had a small gap between my teeth that had existed since my teenage years, and Dr. Ma was able to perfectly close it while doing my dental filling. I am truly impressed by her professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend Prime Dental Care.

Experiencia positiva: The cleaning service is fine. But I am not happy with their high-pressure sales tactic. I walked out with almost $1000 additional charge for doing a few fillings. Worse yet, the price they charged was higher than what the doctor quoted! They also tried to convince me to do wisdom tooth extraction and deep cleaning, even though I don’t have any concerns. I think these are “nice to have” preventive procedures. But they/the doctor make you feel bad if you don’t do them. Now, I truly feel bad for falling for it!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a wonderful experience with my latest visit to the office. I had my regular routine cleaning done by Kate. She is one of the best hygienists I’ve had. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. She is very thorough with the cleaning process. Her hand is so gentle that I didn’t feel much uncomfortableness at all. I also had fillings done by Dr. Li. He was very professional. Clearly explained the reason why I need to do the filling. The process was very smooth and painless. I couldn’t tell the filling from the real tooth at all.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk receptionists don’t offer to give you an itemized receipt for what you’re paying for, I had to ask for one. When I reviewed the invoice, I noticed that I was charged $141 for previous broken appointments. At the time my credit card was taken from me, I feel that I should have been informed of this, but I wasn’t. If I had been, I would have explained that the last time I needed to reschedule (which was 24 hours in advance), no one alerted me that I was going to be charged a fee. I feel scammed. Which I didn’t expect from a place in a nicer area, of which I’ve been a long time client.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in on Monday the 9th of September, 2024 for a broken tooth and a deep cleaning. I can unequivocally say it was my best experience at a dentists office. Anela was a consummate professional and a delight to work with. She was like an artist with those tools, and ever so gentle. Dr. Ma is always gentle and very patient. She always explains things thoroughly. All in all it was a very satisfying visit to the dentist. A little pricey, but with their in-house insurance and Care Credit it's bearable, and you can't beat the services and the welcoming ambience of the office. 5 stars all day.

Experiencia negativa: A year ago, I wanted to get orthodontic treatment and consulted with three clinics. I confirmed that all the consultations were free of charge. Ultimately, I didn't choose this clinic because I felt the dentist was unprofessional. There was no professional evaluation, and they kept urging me to start the treatment while offering a price higher than the market rate. A year later, the clinic called me, saying that the insurance company didn't pay them and that I needed to cover the consultation fee of 150. But your consultations were supposed to be free. Why are you asking me for money? The other two clinics didn't charge anything either. This clinic keeps sending me emails and calling me, disrupting my life. Be cautious with this clinic. Based on the descriptions and name, they couldn't find me. It shows how many similar scams they have. Just received your email yesterday.

Experiencia negativa: Very unethical practice . My tooth got cracked after the deep cleaning services. The doctor was winging it and on top of it , they sent me a surprised bill . Don’t go to that practice unless you have a written signed bill from the practice . Otherwise , they will send you a surprise bill. The doctor wasn’t all that , I went there for an evaluation and second opinion and she seems confused.

It has been over 8 years since I first came here, and I rate them way above any other dental practice that I have ever visited before.

Experiencia fantástica: Kate is the best hygienist we have had. We used nearly 10 different dentists, and Kate is the most thorough and informative hygienist. She is very good with kids too that our four-year-old looks forward to dentist appt because of her.

Experiencia negativa: I feel obligated to write this review and share the negative experience we had with this clinic for two family members of mine. The first experience is for my daughter. Before the treatment, the feedback we received from all other doctors was to pull out four teeth due to the crowded space on her jaw. Dr. Ma from this clinic was the only one promised she could do without teeth extraction. One theory she had to support this was, based on the X-ray, my daughter would never have wisdom teeth so would not cause further pressure to the current teeth (this turned out to be a lie as I explain later). As worried parents who wanted the kid to go through as little pain as possible, we happily chose this clinic even though we paid more than the quote we got from any other clinics. Two years later, my daughter finished her treatment. Yes, the teeth were aligned, but the problem was they were all angled outwards because of the lack of space. After an ideal orthodontics treatment, there are two targets: 1) the angle between the upper teeth and a line in the forehead should be 90 degrees; 2) the angle between the lower teeth and a line in the chin should be 90 degrees as well. For my daughter, they were 110 degrees and 103 degrees respectively!! Another issue is that the upper and lower teeth did not bite properly. What does it mean? It means we spend all the two years and the five or six thousand dollars for nothing. We either have to live with it and regret for the rest of our life or spend a few thousand dollars more and go through the process again (with teeth extraction)!! In addition, Dr. Ma's claim that she would not get wisdom teeth was proven to be completely bogus as all the four wisdom teeth were clearly visible from an X-ray we took recently!! We finally decided to switch her to another orthodontist and fix her treatment. The quality of service and level of professionalism from the new doctor is day and night difference from this clinic. Another experience is for my wife. Long story short, it is another complete waste of six thousand dollars and two years with minimum service from the doctor. To summarize, I sincerely suggest people stay away from this clinic and Dr. Ma for the following reasons: 1. Questionable ethics and professionalism 2. Qualification: I seriously doubt the doctor's qualification and capabilities for the issues I mentioned earlier. 3. Expensive: my current doctor charge two thousand dollars less but provides way better services. 4. Availability: office hours are limited and the doctor seems to be constantly on vacation with no backup 5. Long waiting time: it easily takes 40+ minutes in the waiting room even with appointment

You can tell they really enjoy their line of work, they are always happy and smiling when I visit. I will never go to another place while prime dental care is still around! Absolutely the best!

Experiencia negativa: For your own sanity and health, DO AVOID THIS PLACE AND "DENTIST" MA! This place does not treat your teeth, they treat your dental insurance. My first visit to this place, they didn't do any treatment using the excuse that "there is not enough time". They asked me to go there again, I was kept waiting outside for over an hour, and you know what, they examined my teeth again and charged even higher for doing nothing. They then asked me to go there a 3rd time. Long story short, I NEVER WENT TO THAT PLACE! I went to a different dentist, my problem was solved at the 1st visit.

Experiencia negativa: My experience with Dr Ma I intend to see a doctor for tooth implant and one that can speak Chinese. I looked through internet and I found Dr Ma. A few reviewers give 5 star rating, and commented very good about her treatments. I contacted her office and asked how that her website showing she is doing all the dental treatments? and asked especially how many dental implants she does. The lady told me that Dr Ma is doing one or two dental implants every week. Then I made the appointment. My nightmare began. One visit I intended for bone graft, she let her assistant to prepare root cannel procedure. I signaled the assistant to halt and told her I do not need root cannel because I will have filling with my family dentist. After telling that through, Dr Ma injected anesthesia. While I was still under anesthesia a lady bring the paper to let me sign. Her billing is a mess, the Flexible expense account company refuse to accept her receipts. A big lesson for me.

Experiencia fantástica: I used to be terrified by dentists until I found Dr. Ma's practice a couple of years back. In terms of dentistry I've never felt better taken care of. Not only is all the technology to the latest standard which makes treatments like crowns a lot quicker, but also the human side is incredible careful and supportive, putting nervous patients like me at ease. The admin staff is also incredible friendly and efficient and I've never had any problems with my appointments or billing. On the one or two cases where there have been delays I've been notified ahead of time and were able to adjust my schedule.

Experiencia negativa: Short: Don't agree to anything, call you insurance to check if what they say is indeed covered. They are out of network. Details: Was client for many years, service was all right and they were in the insurance network. This year was recommended to do a procedure that was promised by Dr. Ma to be covered by the insurance 100%. When asked the from desk I received same answer multiple times. They even printed a treatment plan that was showing zero out of pocket. Soon after a bill for $500+ arrived. Prime Dental Care said "We are sorry, insurance charged and you signed the papers." Of course insurance charged, because they are out of network now. They didn't even bother to check when printing their treatment plan.

Dr. Patel was fantastic with explaining what procedures needed to happen and showing why on the X-Rays. He and Renisha also did a great job with getting me in and out of the office quickly with minimal discomfort. Would highly recommend!

I also did not have to wait to be seen by the dentist like I would have at other offices and when discussing my plan of treatment, I was given useful advice as well as options. This practice showed me that they value the experience that their patients have more so than gaining revenue. I definitely recommend this practice to those looking for a new dentist!(:
