Experiencia fantástica: At one time for most of its life, Northfield Family Dental was such a great dentist office and I went there for many years, and Dr. Jagger was one of the best dentists I've ever had. That is, until the horrific ProSmile Galactic Empire bought Northfield Family Dental a few years ago and just totally ran it into the ground and then just abruptly closed it, leaving me and many other people with no where to go. ProSmile is a large dental company that owns many dentist offices throughout New Jersey and other states. As soon as they take over a dental office, they destroy it. It's almost as if that's their goal. The incompetent ProSmile Empire seems to have no clue what they're doing or how to run a dental business. I was told to transfer to one of their other dental locations after Northfield Family Dental closed, and yet no one at the other dentist office at Egg Harbor Family Dental ever answers the phone or returns messages. Typical ProSmile tactics. FYI, before going to a dentist office, check to see if they're owned by this ProSmile clown outfit. They're an unfunny joke. I only gave this review 5 stars for how great this dentist office used to be when Dr. Jagger ran it for all those decades. I'd give 0 stars for the ProSmile owned office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jagger has been my dentist since he began his practice with Dr. Nocera. We go back a long way. We moved here from north Jersey. He is absolutely the best and so gentle and encouraging. He has always been there whether in an emergency or a regular visit. I have always been very satisfied with my services. I feel safe and secure in his presence always. He looks out for his patients, and the dental hygienists are very thorough and accommodating. The receptionist was lovely, very nice, and very friendly. She made me feel very special. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: If I Can I will give -0 . I made an appointment with them several weeks ago because a tooth broke and I was in pain and discomfort. My appointment was today at 10:30, and I even took the day off from work. At 9:30 in the morning they called me to say the appointment was canceled with no explanation . I went to Aspen Dental without an appointment and they took care of me right away. I do NOT recommend wasting your valuable time here. Thank God I was able to get treated somewhere else.

Twice a dentist filled the wrong tooth, that I lost a filling in & told me that I was lucky I had good insurance, so I wouldn't have to pay for the second filling! This last time the dentist told me not to talk & if I had a problem to raise my hand. I felt too much water in my throat & raised my hand & then he reprimanded me for moving. I am REALLY nervous about Dr. Jagger retiring. I have been with him for almost 40 years. Today was a 5!!! The visits with another doctor 1

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is super nice. They are organized and on top of things. I’ve been to several dentists and this office makes me feel comfortable and confident in the work being done. Dr. Kaplan is amazing!! He’s the only person I will see at this point. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist or anything pertaining to my teeth. Having a dentist that I feel comfortable with helps ease my nerves. Wait time is nowhere near as long as other offices. I’m always in and out. This office is a 10/10 for me.

I had an appointment and after my cleaning they took xrays then told me the dentist didn’t have time to see me and rescheduled me for the checkup. Then the day of the check they said I wasn’t scheduled. Then today my son showed up for his anppointment and they said they called him Saturday to cancel. They never called him Saturday, there is no missed call or voicemail from them.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent experience. Our family has had four appointments canceled in the past six months—each time just days before we were due in. This has made it incredibly difficult to stay on a regular schedule, which is something I’m very strict about, especially when it comes to my children’s dental care. What’s more frustrating is that the rescheduled appointments are often months out. After our latest cancellation, we were told the next available opening isn’t until September. That’s simply too long of a gap, and unfortunately, not acceptable for us. We’ve always had great experiences with your hygienists and staff, and we’ve been very happy with the care provided. But repeated cancellations with no timely alternatives are making it very difficult to remain here. I’ve since contacted another local practice and was able to get my children seen as early as tomorrow. I hope you understand how disappointing this has been, and I truly hope the practice is able to find a solution for long-term scheduling reliability. We value good care and consistency—

Experiencia negativa: The staff here are nice and do normal job of dental cleaning. However, if you're planning to go there, check to see if their dentists is In Network in addition to this provider. They may say they accept your insurance but their dentist may not. We maxed out of pocket for the year because they intentionally knew the Dentists where not approved yet for the insurance company and did not to notify us because it would not be in their best interest to push away potentially patients even if you end up paying out of pocket for the Dentist. We ended up traveling overseas to get crown work done and it was much cheaper, done in a day, and less hassle with insurance approval.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible. I had an appointment Monday, that I made in March to have my cleaning in September. They texted and called me repeatedly to confirm my appointment. I arrived early for my 2 pm appointment. I sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes. Then she called me into the room and I was Interrogated about when my last cleaning was. She told me I had to go back to the periodontist to have my teeth polished and finish with the dentist there. So I got up off the chair and left (total waste of time) Well I just received a bill from my insurance company. They changed me for an exam and a cleaning for $269.00 for an exam and a cleaning that I never received. Scam ! Now when I go to another dentist for a cleaning they are going to think I had one in August.

Experiencia negativa: now that all my teeth are falling out as well as my siblings, that always used this dentist our whole lives and all of us are now completely embarrassed because we can not afford to fix the damage done. But I did have to have the only teeth left removed because the fillings needed to be tested for mercury and came back positive. I just learned this, no clue what I’m going to do if any yet have to wait until after weekend. And he probably will retire and run off but because he talks about everyone, patients, family, etc. Everyone knows where to look. I did not pay thousands of dollars for my mouth to be ruined and have ppl assume I’m a street person or drug addict bc I simply just do not make a ton of money, I would be middle class if it still existed but in this area here, I tell my spouse if we stay here we will never get our teeth fixed. SMH it’s mortifying, and embarrassing, honestly more dentists need to volunteer their time. Bc the affect that something like this can have on someone is horrible.

Experiencia positiva: So many bad reviews since Dr. Jagger is trying to retire. I've been a patient for over 30 years and moved to NC. I returned about 2 1/2 years ago just to see him and was unable to get all of my much needed dental completed. I was told to find a dentist down here. Well, I did and they will safely be removing all of those fillings in my mouth and testing for mercury , which I was told by Dr. Jagger himself that they did not contain Mercury. Good luck everyone.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment 6 months out from November meant for the 16th of that month, On the day of that appointment on my way to that appointment I received a phone call telling me that the doctor is out on vacation. I then rescheduled an appointment for two months out on July 10th, only for that to be canceled but I only found that out because I accidentally came in a day earlier who knows probably would’ve been the same situation. I hope all is well with whatever is going on in their personal life. But that is no way to run any establishment. This has been where I went since a kid i don’t remember it ever being like this

Experiencia negativa: Awful! awful! Office. Ever since the practice was sold out and Dr.Jagger began his retirement, this whole office has gone downhill. I have been rescheduled multiple times and given awful excuses from the dentist left early to the unavailability of an assistant. When I was finally able to get in, I was appalled to see the manager in scrubs assisting the dentist who was working on my mouth and she then proceeded to meet me at the front to collect my copay! I know she was the manager because I can see her tracks in her hair every-time I go in. She is not a nice lady. She's very pushy and should just change her title to collector. I insisted that I had no copay but she was adamant and followed me out to my car when I said I would contact my insurance first to verify that information since I have never had to pay before. When i asked for her name she refused to provide it! absolutely unacceptable. they need to close this office down for all sorts of violations and unprofessionalism. I am using my private email. I don't want the manager calling me and stalking me. The incident in the parking lot was quite traumatic.
