Experiencia fantástica: I traveled from Minnesota to see Dr Porcelli on referral from a friend in North Carolina. He was able to take a situation that required the extraction of two teeth, and turn it into one hour of cavity fills (using biocompatible composite, nonetheless); nothing short of miraculous! I knew I was in good hands when he took the time to use ozone therapy to treat my cavity sites before he filled them. Very professional and I would travel from anywhere in the country for treatment!

Before I share my testimony, I want to share a little bit about Dr. Porcelli… Dr. Porcelli is a courageous Christian, an amazing dentist, and a wonderful man. His care for his patients is unmatched and his understanding and experience in his profession has comforted me in my journey back to good health. His understanding and conviction that the body is a beautifully intricate creation of God allows him to explain correlations between our teeth and different parts of our bodies. Before I had all four wisdom teeth (3rd molars) removed, I had very good health. On February 16, 2018 (my senior year of high school) I had all four wisdom teeth removed. It seemed like it was one of those things that everyone did and I didn’t think twice about the procedure until many years later when I traced back my numerous symptoms to the removal of those teeth. Here is a list of those symptoms: Fall 2018: Fatigue and frequent sickness November 2018: Started noticing small blisters on the my palms Spring 2019: Continued to struggle with sickness Summer 2021: Trouble with my vision (floaters and other problems) and muscle twitching January 2022: Rhabdomylosis and poor recovery from workouts Summer 2022: Tinnitus in both ears Fall 2022: Mild case of Duputryn's Contracture on my left hand November 2023: Losing hair, anxiety, heart palpitations New symptoms continued to develop and old symptoms seemed to stick around or get worse. In 2024, I began going to different doctors to figure out what was going on with my body. Spring 2024: Sleep study completed (results: no obstructive sleep apnea or other sleep conditions) Summer 2024: Doctor to check on my muscle twitching (no abnormalities in my muscles) I continued to go to different doctors but the answer was always the same… They could not find anything wrong. I began to explore different solutions like sauna, red light therapy, grounding, full panel comprehensive blood tests, hydrogen water, and varying supplements and diets. Though I noticed improvements in my fatigue, especially when I was regularly using these tools, my symptoms never fully went away. In Fall of 2025, I listened to a podcast about biological dentistry. The podcast provided a list of dentists that follow a specific set of guidelines and practices for the field of biological dentistry. Dr. Porcelli was on that list. My initial appointment at Biological Center for Dentistry went way beyond my expectations. Dr. Porcelli gave me the news that I had four NICOs. One in each area where my wisdom teeth were removed. The team fit me in for my first treatment during the busiest time of the year (right around Christmas time) and I couldn’t be more grateful. Dr. Porcelli and Ashley treated the upper and lower NICOs on the right side of my mouth first. I did not see many improvements in my symptoms until my second treatment. On February 11, 2026, I had my second treatment and my life significantly changed. This was a major start to “moving the needle” in my health and all aspects of my life. Treatment was on the upper and lower areas where my wisdom teeth were removed on the left side of my mouth. Initially after my second treatment, I experienced a lot of fatigue and noticed a large increase in blisters on my left palm. Three weeks after my second treatment, my blisters on my hands went away I began to notice energy that I hadn’t experienced in a long time and I had trouble keeping my sleep routine in control because I didn’t know what to do with so much energy! It is April 15, 2026 when I am writing this. I continue to see improvements in my health and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I can’t thank Dr. Porcelli and his team enough. Especially, Casey, Ashley, and Wendi. Thank you for all that you do. I pray that this message allows others who are suffering from chronic conditions to have more clarity in their decision to explore biological dentistry. Dr. Porcelli, thank you.

My experience has been both informative and pleasant while he removed many old fillings and crowns replacing them with safe material so that the metals have all been removed from my mouth. I was treated by Alida Hahn, the hygienist, who was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I needed a deep periodontal cleaning to heal my gums and improve the overall health of my mouth. Years ago, I had the same procedure done at a traditional dentist, and my memory of it was that it felt quite barbaric. In contrast, the equipment and skill level of Alida were top-notch, and the entire treatment was painless—both during and after. My gums are already healing, and I am so grateful to have found this office. I look forward to continuing my care here in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I drove 2.5 hours mostly on one-lane roads to see Dr. Porcelli for a second opinion based on the Google reviews, and I'm happy to say it was a worthwhile decision. While other dentists advised a root canal on a painful tooth, Dr. Porcelli was insightful enough to realize that the problem was bone inflammation and not inherently the tooth itself. He adjusted my bite and my night guard—minimally invasive solutions. (Other dentists had tried the same, but they could not do so as to relieve the pain.) Not 24 hours later I was in 50% less pain and chewing on the right side of my mouth, which I had not done in months. It was also very refreshing to have a dentist assess my overall health and give me helpful recommendations on other things I could do to maximize my wellness. Dr. Porcelli and staff answered all of my questions, even if they weren't directly related to my issue. Not once did I feel rushed during my visit. If you're on the fence about whether to give this practice a try, just do it! It was the best dental experience I've ever had. The staff is kind, and the vibe is peaceful, clean, modern, and confident. I wish that they were closer and that care like this could be accessible to everyone. Edit: Four months after my visit, I'm still glad I went, but communication has been slow.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Porcelli and his staff are wonderful and they have been so accommodating and kind, despite all of the many challenges that I have as a patient with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). I found Dr. Porcelli after I became too challenging medically for my previous conventional dentist. I needed repairs to previous dental work, and Dr. Porcelli performed biocompatibility testing to find the safest materials to use for me. I felt that the risk of anaphylaxis was too great to use anesthetic, so at my request, he performed two crown preps, and later permanent crown placement, without anesthetic, and I tolerated the procedure extremely well. I will always be grateful that I found Dr. Porcelli and that he and his staff (Ashley and Alida, especially) are so kind and caring. They take the time to care for even the most challenging patients, and I will always be grateful.

Then I had to get a few crowns and was a little nervous about the procedure, I opted for the conscious sedation. I was sure I would still be nervous, but actually I was very relaxed and so glad I chose that way to get the bigger procedure done. Experiencia fantástica: I took my 4 year old here to have a tooth fixed that a previous pediatric dentist “fixed”. They took their time with her and made her feel so comfortable. We drove 3 hours one way just so we could go to BCD. Couldn’t recommend them enough for children and adults alike!

I will be hard pressed to find a more compassionate hygienist or dentist, but I have to look elsewhere in order to get help with insurance. Diagnosed as a tooth abscess (not fun!) and gave me a couple options. Gotta get the infection killed first, then we can move forward. Anyway, just wanted to reiterate that Rich is THE BEST! I haven’t encountered a more knowledgeable practice, who approaches each case with virtue and sincerity up to my standard, or who with exacting precision cuts to the truth so well, in all of the the places I’ve been, in all of these years, and across multiple states. I was in a situation, and have been in a situation, where it is easy for dentists looking to make a buck to be tempted to cash in on me. Without saying too much, where another practitioner who withheld from being thorough, in a matter of fact tone told me I was looking at 20k-30k in expenses, Dr. Porcelli, instead of exploiting me as others have tried to, conducted a more detailed examination than anyone else has, and was able to spare my family 30 grand. So while this office may not be the cheapest around, you get what you pay for, and in the end, you save a lot of money going to a business that will handle your case with ethics, care, thoroughness, and most importantly, honesty. Dr. Porcelli has unparalleled expertise and scientific knowledge, and shared information I hadn’t heard anywhere else, that I wish more people were aware of. The patience and decency shown by the staff here, was something to behold. I can not recommend Biological Center for Dentistry enough, as someone who has really been through the ringer. Holistic dentists are few and far between, and the unique and specified knowledge that holistic dentistry offers can save you money and spare your health. I just feel like someone up there was looking out for me, that I found this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I initially saw Dr. Porcelli to get a second opinion. My dentist in Savannah suggested full crown veneers to correct my bite. I had those done in late 2020. After nearly 3 years of adjustments and still having issues with my bite, I sought a second opinion. I found Dr. Porcelli. I had major concerns about whether he could help me and if he would even want to. He very patiently listened as I explained my history, my frustration with my bite, and my frustration with my current dentist. He thoroughly explained what he thought was wrong and how he would fix it. He also thoroughly explained his whole process of veneer crowns, and it made so much more sense than the process I went through. I was so impressed with him. He really listened to me making me feel like a real patient. He also took the time to show me exactly what he saw. I felt so comfortable with him, I asked him to make the adjustments he felt I needed and he showed me the end result after. For the first time in a long time, I can actually feel my back teeth touching, and my teeth aren't nearly as sore! It has only been a few days, and he said I may need more adjusting, but I am okay with that. I am excited to be working with him. I highly recommend Dr. Porcelli.

This is not a pediatric dental office, but my son needed specific work done, using only specific medications and resins due to some allergies and sensitivities he's shown in the past. Dr Porcelli was totally great with my son and the work done was perfect. I was able to be in the room and help my son with headphones and staying comfortable. Previous consultations at other dentist offices said I couldn't be in the room, and all others demanded full sedation or barbiturate sedation, which were not options for him (medically). 10/10 stars!

He is constantly striving to not only achieve aesthetic perfection, but to ensure that his patient is comfortable and happy with the results. I have been a patient of his since I lived in New York where he opened his first practice. Since then, I moved to Los Angeles, and I still fly across the country to see him. He performed a complex case on me after I suffered a surfing accident that knocked out a lot of my teeth in 2007. I was mortified with my appearance after the accident and Dr. Porcelli performed a life altering treatment on me. He not only restored my teeth, but along with that, my confidence. I am currently undergoing an upgrade on my crowns and am flying in to see Dr. Porcelli for this treatment. It is hard to find the words to demonstrate my gratitude towards him and his incredibly kind, hard working staff. His team is unmatched; patient, kind, compassionate. Also, highly skilled and dedicated to providing top tier service. Their office morale always exudes joy. The sort of energy that welcomes you in and makes you feel like you’re visiting your family. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I want to honor Dr. Porcelli and his team because they have given me countless hours of their dedication and the least I could do is give them a few minutes of mine.

Experiencia negativa: I felt a plethora of negative vibes but the desperation of getting rid of my mercury and need for “holistic” treatment made me override my intuition. I’m only here writing my experience because it’s been a couple of months since I had fillings and I am in miserable pain. Deep tooth pains wake me up at night and there’s a large gap in between my teeth that is so painful I cannot eat on my right side. I can’t even use toothpaste, I have to use coconut oil only. I’ve been hoping it’s a healing period but it’s now very obvious he’s made a complete mess. I am pregnant and chose a “holistic” dentist because I wanted as little anesthetic as possible. I chose a higher priced dentist because I wanted a higher level of care. Well.. In the middle of my procedure this dentist walked away to take a 10 minute phone call and I needed more anesthesia when he returned. I left and went home only to notice that he’d completely missed a filling and left me with a gaping hole in my mouth. MORE anesthesia the next day!! I stayed humble but now I am furious. I haven’t even received a follow up call and at this point I’m in complete fear to go back. Waking up in awful pain every night and in pain while eating is debilitating and affects quality of life which only makes me want to put the 30k I was going to spend on my mouth on a law suit instead. I should at least have my $1800 returned! They really do not care. Awful experience.

I've been looking forward to it because I've always enjoyed having my teeth cleaned and it's been too long; she honestly exceeded my expectations! Alida is knowledgeable, personal and kind. I felt she genuinely cared about me as a person and wanted to help me make the best decisions for my overall health. My mouth feels great! She used baking soda to polish my teeth instead of that nasty scouring paste conventional dentists use. It was the perfect balance of careful work and conversation. When I checked out she answered all my financial questions, too. In my previous visit with Dr. Porcelli the experience was comparable. He is a warm, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. Like most holistic practitioners he cares about the whole person and doesn't compartmentalize my teeth. I feel relaxed in the office. Others describe it as a spa-like atmosphere; to me it's as comfortable as being outside. It's chill upscale SC in the best way. If you value holistic and biological health care and avoid conventional "care," then you need to visit these folks. I look forward to my ongoing care, here. It's well worth the 45 minutes drive from GA.

I was not billed for 2nd one however Dentist said because it was so fuzzy and not readable when they get their new equipment in they would scan again for free.... here 3-4 yrs later still no call from them! 50,000$ on teeth.... way overpriced and no contact from them I had thought they were supposed to be good but..... anyway I have had to change my opinion! and moved on!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is extremely friendly, caring and very nurturing and both Dr. Porcelli and Dr Friedman possess true craftsmanship and have a thorough knowledge of the connection between gut health and your mouth. Prior to seeing them, I had to have a bone implant twice for the same tooth. Although I may be speaking too soon, I am positive that under their expert care the third time will be the charm! Alida is an excellent dental hygienist with an expertise in periodontal (deep gum-line) care. Under her care and supervision, my gums are healthier than they’ve ever been. I am extremely pleased with the results so far and will give an update when my work is completed.

Experiencia negativa: I have a tooth where the dentist removed an old filling and replaced with a new one. -That was about a year ago.- It still hurts! And it did NOT hurt before I went in! Also, a huge gap was left between the teeth - and there was NO gap before. He proceeded to attempt to “adjust it” - after multiple return visits, I concluded it was not helping at all. I eventually went to another dentist who has helped quite a bit. Just a heads up- it’s is also very expensive. My tip is -- get a second opinion before deciding to become a patient. Update: the dentist did call and offer to make any correction necessary - Admirable! But no need at this point as it has already been addressed by another dentist. - Happy dentist hunting!

The office is beautiful, the staff courteous. I had horrible, ugly, stained cavities on my front teeth and he transformed my smile into something beautiful while also working with what I wanted and could afford. He stands by his work. The best part is the SMART amalgam removal. I don't have to worry about mercury in the air or other such toxins present in more mainstream dental offices.
