Experiencia fantástica: From the minute I walked into the clinic I was treated with kindness and respect and was assured everything was going to be ok (I'm a coward when it comes to going to the dentist) no long wait and Brenda the hygienist got me xrayed and in the chair and began cleaning my teeth all along explaining what she was doing...Dr Ky was amazing as well explaining next steps to having the healthiest teeth possible.... I definitely recommend SMILES!!

Dr. Ky was extremely knowledgeable, a delight to talk to, explained things in a way that made my situation. Very understandable. Five stars, would recommend them. In fact, I’m gonna recommend my wife and 3 Adult sons go set up an appointment with Dr. Ky.

Experiencia negativa: The doctor here needs a bit of touch up on her bedside. I feel she has completely gone nose blind to the fact that patients are still people, and deserve to be talked to and treated as such. Let me begin by saying the hygienist and the assistant were very pleasant. They both had a kind nature about them that felt very warm and reassuring. They both took the time introduce themselves and let me know each step of the way what they were doing and checked in to reassure my comfort levels. Dr Ky on the other hand not so much. Upon her walking in the room I said hello and good morning, she said nothing and instantly started talking to the assistant. No hello how are you, I'm Dr such and such etc.... No proper first time meeting greetings from her. Between the fast talking, cold demeanor, being rough in my mouth, and just making me feel like I was wasting her time. Going back was definitely not an option. So I drove 3 hours away to Sioux Falls to Modern Dental and got some of THE BEST dental service I've ever gotten. The more I have ran into people that have been to Aberdeen Smiles not one person has had a single positive thing to say. Being a great Dr/Dentist is more than being able to do the job, you also have to remember why you got into the field. To Help People! Not make them feel less than, worthless, or dumb.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ky is pleasant and to the point on what to expect through my whole denture process. The aids and receptionist is always friendly and last couple times I didn't even have to check in so it's comforting to know they really get to know their patients. She was very clear bout every step and the time frame it takes so I had no surprises and even when they needed fixing it was always quick and she even looked out for my wallet with the least cost but most effective ideas instead of maxing out my insurance. Definitely recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I gave the clinic a two star rating because the Technician I had with curly hair was very knowledgeable and very helpful and she had lots of relevant information for me. However I am currently a Medicaid patient until April, so I feel like my doc told me that there’s nothing they could do for me and that the term was have to call someone else because she couldn’t help me out and I wasted my Medicaid visit here and felt like the doc wasn’t interested in answering anything I had to ask and didn’t read me patient forms otherwise I would’ve had a clear plan for what I asked for and then I would’ve not had to ask tech to ask her a question for me and include it in my email because that’s how fast I was hurried out there and if you are a Medicaid patient you can get just ex rays or a tooth exact but they won’t extract it they will tell you to call around and find someone else. Waste of time. I felt humiliated and cried in car, but hey the doctor was in a hurry so it’s all good right?
