Heron Springs Dental Care

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was nothing but perfection. Doctor Gallaher was very thorough with her examination and laying out how would go forward with my next procedure. Sarah the hygienist was very good at getting me started with doing my exrays

Experiencia negativa: I felt very rushed by the guy who did my cleaning. This is the first time I have felt rushed and like I was a problem. My mouth actually hurt when I left and that never happens.

Experiencia fantástica: Like most never been a fan of the dentist office. I’ve had some bad experiences at other offices. Heron springs dental is a great experience. Makes you feel comfortable every time I go. All the hygienists have been great.

Experiencia fantástica: First time patient here and my experience was great ..the staff was amazing from Carrie at the front desk to Carly and Vanessa whom are wonderful hygienist .. I now call Heron Springs my Dentist .. thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so glad I found Dr Gallaher and her team! I woke up today with an urgent dental situation and they got me in immediately. New patient paperwork was quick to do online. Deep novacaine injections and fillings usually hurt me but I didn't feel this one AT ALL. 45 minutes after I arrived I left fixed and I'm super grateful. Looking forward to having them as my new primary dentist

Experiencia fantástica: Very kind and professional folks. Fast and friendly service. A great place

Experiencia fantástica: Sarah was an absolute pleasure, definitely will be requesting her again, always a very positive visit with everyone there.

Experiencia negativa: Displeased with total experience. Appointment was delayed 6 months and still didn't get to see requested personnel. Was more a "sales" presentation than dental maintenance visit, will have to evaluate whether I continue to use this Dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going here for a while now, but this experience solidified the 5 stars. Sarah did my x-rays, teeth cleaning, and gum disease test and she was so gentle, and made the process so smooth. I am normally so anxious at the dentist that I need the lead vest to just keep me from shaking so much but this office is so nice and calm, the people are so understanding and I am happy that they are in my network for my insurance. Thank you so much Sarah!

Experiencia fantástica: Welcoming, personable, professional, informative, and courteous—these are just a few words that come to mind when I think about my experience with this dentist. I believe my family and I have finally found our dentist—a dentist who offers a family-friendly experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff and Dr. Gallagher. So happy you are in my network!

Experiencia fantástica: I want to recommend Andrew for teeth cleaning. I had a deep cleaning this morning and he was great. Please consider Andrew for your next cleaning. I think you will be very happy.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a person that really has a difficult time at the dentist. My experience is usually so bad that I don't tend to go back to a dentist again. This dental office works with me and makes me feel at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional dental practice. Josie is a very thorough dental hygienist.

Experiencia fantástica: Its I think is my 5th visit, and I feel the staff and doctors thier are very professional and I will continue to use thier practice. I am VERY satisfied with the service and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleased. Staff is friendly and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and they immediately make you feel welcome and comfortable. The office is clean, modern, and overall I had a great experience from start to finish. I used to drive all the way to Sarasota for dental work, but the drive was becoming too much. This will definitely be my new dental office moving forward. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: After a few really good visits to Heron Springs Dental and telling several others about how great they are, things changed. We were trying to decide if we wanted to keep our dental insurance as the premiums are pricey with minimal coverage. My husband asked me to contact the office to find out what a cleaning/check-up appointment would cost every six months if we were cash paying/ni insurance. I ended up speaking with a lady in the billing/finance department who told me it would be right around $118 for visit with X-rays if they were needed. Fast forward, we opted to not enroll in dental insurance during open enrollment. I called last week to make an appointment and another lady from the billing/finance department called me and said it would be almost $450. When I explained what I was told previously and that we chose to discontinue dental insurance based on the information I was given from the office previously, I was put on hold and she came back to the phone and gave me a new quote in the $350 range. My advice, beware of quotes given from this office and get them in writing. HSD if you would like to discuss further you can contact me directly.

Experiencia fantástica: Team at Heron Springs Dental are awesome!! I called because my front tooth cracked off! They got me an appointment right away. Dr Nicole Lauritsen was so nice with her assistant Linda I never felt a thing! They did X-rays, filled a tooth, and made a temporary crown till the new one comes in all in the 1 trip. They must of asked 10 times how I was feeling and checked on me. After examining me mouth they woman from the front desk came in to go over all cost from me and insurance then asked what I wanted to get done, NO pressure!! Everyone was so nice and friendly and know exactly what they were doing. I will recommend this office every time!!! Thank you!!!! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Loved my first time there.,very friendly and helpful I’m happy to of found this new dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: My first experience with the office. I would recommend them. I had a cleaning yesterday, absolutely pain free, most thorough cleaning and exam I have ever had. I knew I needed a crown, returned this am to start the process. Again, completely pain free! Office is clean and modern, all staff, from front desk to hygienist, ass’t and dentist were exceptional… highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very friendly from the front office to the hygienist and the doctor. This was my first visit and the hygienist explained everything as she was doing the X-rays and cleaning. Felt very comfortable and no pressure to get added treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: I do love this dental office! The entire staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and very professional! My hygienist is always thorough and sensitive at the same time. They are upfront with all the information you need. Most certainly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and helpful staff. Prompt appointment handling.

Experiencia fantástica: The Heron Springs Dental Care Practice has an amazing staff including the front desk, billing, dental hygienist, and Dr. L. They are all very professional, thorough, and kind. They fit me into their schedule quickly to take care of my dental needs‼️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience with all of those who helped me with my dental issues. The scheduling was very easy and fast. I called on a Wednesday and was entered into there books for that Friday. They did a thorough exam and were able to give me a quote on the spot with my insurance. The dentist and dental assistant made working on my cavity issues a very calming experience keeping me comfortable throughout the process. Would definitely recommend to anymore needing dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an urgent dental issue and they were able to get me in right away. My husband and I have had great care and service during every visit!

Experiencia fantástica: My crown fell off my tooth. Since I was visiting Florida and didn't already have a dentist, I contacted my daughter-in-law for her recommendation, which was Heron Springs Dental. I called them, and the kind man who answered, scheduled me for an 8 am appointment for the next day! When I arrived in the morning, I appreciated the prompt service and professional, friendly personnel. Thank you, Heron Springs Dental Care, for fixing my tooth and making my experience a good one.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very happy with my appointment! They really listened to my concerns. Very friendly staff, easy to talk to. Very professional. They were very good about going over issues with me. Thank you Andrew and Heron Springs Dental staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an excellent experience with Dr.Gallagher & Carley for my Implant! Dr. Gallagher took her time to explain everything thoroughly, which I really appreciated. They were patient, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. What stood out most was the level of care and attention to detail. The procedure was done gently and with precision, and I experienced minimal discomfort. It’s clear that this Dr.Gallagher & Carley genuinely care about their patients’ well-being and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy dentist. It’s not often you find a place that combines professionalism with such a personal touch.

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly one of the best dental experiences I have experienced yet! And I used to be in the dental field! You guys have a wonderful team!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, professional and competent. What more could you ask for?

Experiencia fantástica: I started off my first visit running about 20 minutes late. When I approached the reception desk, I was called by by name as if I had been going there for years and was assured that everything was fine. My hygienist and Dentist both made me feel comfortable and made my visit exceptional. Thank you all

Experiencia fantástica: I would first like to say this is the best dentist practice I have had been to in my life. Everybody at Heron Springs in each department has been great. They are all professional, fun to be in company with and down to earth. I just wanted to mention them all besides the specific people I will mention. I guess the most important one is Chris, the Insurance Specialist. She made it possible to get things done where no other doctor or dentist has ever been able to. Dr. Brittney Gallahger has also been the dentist I have always wanted. My teeth look great. The other members of the staff are just as good. Especially the Dental Assistant's Carly and Ari. The Dental Hygenists Lisa and Andrea are also equally important. The environment in that office is more of a family feel. I hope this review gets to the right people. Everybody in that office deserves to be recognized. Happy Holiday's.

Experiencia fantástica: Great dentist for me and my 14 year old. Invisalign straightened his teeth for a perfect smile. Staff always upbeat and friendly. Totally recommend for adults and teens.

Experiencia negativa: "I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Harold Dental Spring Dental. Less than a year ago, I had a crown placed, and have since experienced significant pain, likely due to inadequate work and potential infection. Furthermore, when contacting the clinic, I was told there is only a one-year warranty, contrary to the two-year guarantee previously mentioned. This combined with the lack of transparent pricing suggests a focus on profit over patient care."

Experiencia fantástica: Staff were professional and very pleasant. Would recommend their services, for professional dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: My hygienist Andrea did a fantastic job with my dental cleaning and professional whitening.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was polite . It was a very good experience. The office was very clean. They make you feel very comfortable

Experiencia fantástica: Nothing but amazing things to say about this office. My first time here and I just came for an evaluation at 9 since I was worried about my front teeth and I left around 10 with my front teeth filled. Everyone was so nice ! Will definitely be back ! Thank you for making this process easy for me

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice And friendly Group of carrying people.

Experiencia fantástica: Aleena at Heron Springs Dental is absolutely amazing! She’s always smiling, so kind, and incredibly helpful every single visit. She makes you feel comfortable right away and truly goes above and beyond to make the experience a great one. It’s honestly always a joy to see her when I’m there. Her positive attitude and genuine care do not go unnoticed. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: So far so good. Just became a new patient yesterday. Completed necessary paperwork, took several x-rays, discussed a possible dental plan, and set the date for the first phase of the plan. All of the employees there that I had contact with were friendly, and professional. Lisa was awesome and very knowledgeable about her job related responsibilities. Dr. Nicole was very nice and had a very calm and gentle demeanor. Again, so good so far. This is a very much needed action in my life. Keeping fingers crossed for minimal pain and suffering. lol

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to get an appt the next day for a concern with a chipped tooth. All of the staff were very professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a good experience at Heron Springs. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Care is far better than what I had up north. Permanent resident x3 yrs now and I have recommended this office many times. Dr L is fantastic.

Experiencia fantástica: This was by far the best experience I've ever had at the dentist! From the dental assistant, to the dentist, to the financial assistant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They made me feel at ease.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in such amoint of pain I couldn't even speak. They took care of me and I felt so comfortable. During the process and also checking on me during the healing as well.

Experiencia negativa: I will never come back. 5 months ago I visited this office to evaluate my partial concerns. I was put in the dental chair to wait for dr. I waited about 30 min and then was told that my time is over and I need another appointment to be seen. I was charged for general x-ray. Second appointment was 9/24/25. This time I was concerned about my filling was come out from upper right canine tooth. X-ray was done. No pain or inflammation. This time I saw the doctor. I was refused to put new filling and was offered two choices: 1. root canal for $3200.00 or 2. tooth extraction. Dr told me that she does not do tooth extraction and I should go to dental surgeon. I took it for mockery, paid for wonderful visit and left. I am 84 now but long ago I was MD in pathology. So I am not completely dummy in dentistry.

Experiencia positiva: I wasn’t as happy this time with my periodontal cleaning. The hygienist used the machine instead of just instruments which I don’t care for. Believe it or not my teeth did not feel as clean as they have in the past. Disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give ZERO stars I would. This office’s billing practices are beyond unacceptable. They failed to collect from the insurance company and instead left us dealing with the mess. There was zero accountability and no effort to resolve the issue. When I called to get answers, Vicky was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She was literally snickering on the phone, dismissive, and acted like our concerns were a joke. When I asked for a corporate number to escalate the issue, she refused and said, “We can’t give that out you have to Google it.” That level of arrogance and lack of basic customer service is unbelievable. I would be completely embarrassed to have staff like that if I were a Doctor. They did not tell us when we came for our second visit that part of what we paid was a balance. COMPLETELY DISHONEST. If this is how they treat patients when there’s a billing problem, I would strongly suggest thinking twice before trusting them with your care. Completely unacceptable experience. Would never recommend ever, typical corporate. Stay away!

Experiencia fantástica: I loved everything about the visit, everyone from the front office to the Hygienist were very professional and so very nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Lovely staff, beautiful office. My 1st visit was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is very nice and got me in quicker than I thought. Awesome place.

Experiencia fantástica: From the front desk to the dentist this place is wonderful. I use to have panic attacks with even the thought of going to the dentist, not anymore. They make it truly painless and comfortable. Recommend this place to everyone I know

Experiencia fantástica: I had an awesome dental exam and cleaning. I’m so glad I found this practice. My hygienist is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Every time I go there even I just pop in with no appointment (emergency things that hurt) they take care of me. Awesome place

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice, compassionate and considerate to my schedule. I’m terrified of dentists but they made it a pretty comfortable experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My son had his first appt here on 3/28 and the whole staff was amazing from start to finish. I was most impressed that everything my son needed was done at the initial appt. . Will be making appts for my other kids soon!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a very nice experience The staff was wonderful Shout out to Aleena. She was so friendly and warm. Great job.

Experiencia fantástica: I pulled a crown out eating a piece of candy. I got the office recommendation reimbursed my neighbor. They were so nice to get me in the next day. They took xrays and checked the area where the crown was. We moved forward with getting a new crown. The temporary has been put in place and my mouth scanned for the new crown. It will be made and inserted in a couple weeks. I am so pleased with this dental office. The dental assistants and the dentist are all young and so nice. They explain what they are going to do before they do it. I'm very impressed.

Experiencia fantástica: Always greeted with smiles and prompt service. Very happy to have found quality care down here

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant facility with up to date equipment, comfortable treatment chairs...love the baloon pillow and blankets. Every staff member I met was cheerful, knowledgeable and skillful.

Experiencia fantástica: Vanessa cleaned my teeth, she was gentle, and experienced.. dr. G is the best dentist I have ever had, and at 69 I have seen many, I highly recommend her .

Experiencia fantástica: They were amazing! Vanessa was gentle and thorough. Dr was very nice and recommend their practice wholeheartedly.

Experiencia fantástica: Very Very Clean! The dental hygienist Arlene was very thorough. First time coming out of a dentist office mouth feeling very clean. I'm 67 years old now. Office is great I'll let you know what the expenses are before procedures are done. Very very friendly and easygoing office stuff! They made an appointment for me to have a broken tooth fixed within a week. Thank you Heron dental for everything!!!! Darryl Hine

Experiencia negativa: I came to Heron Springs Dental because of concerns about my front tooth. They told me I had no enamel left and needed crowns right away. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from my regular dentist at Panther Hollow Dental, who’s been in business for over 30 years. He told me I did not need crowns — just a simple mouthguard to prevent grinding my teeth at night. If I had gone through with the crowns, it could’ve caused major issues, especially since the teeth on the left side are just starting to wear. I’m very disappointed that Heron Springs Dental tried to push an unnecessary and expensive procedure instead of providing an honest diagnosis. I won’t be returning.

Experiencia positiva: I always enjoy my visits and have had great experience with all the staff and doctors, however, I wasn’t very pleased with my recent interactions with a member of your billing staff who seemed annoyed when reviewing my bill with me and the questions I asked. When I followed up next day, as promised, this individual was then less than enthused and reluctant to help and resubmit a claim as instructed by my insurance provider for further documentation on a claim so it could be paid. This is her job, and her attitude shouldn’t be projected to the customer no matter the situation.

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to get able to get in quickly for my appointment. The dentist and her staff were very attentive to my needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Teeth cleaning on this visit no issues nice visit hygienist and I was on my way. Great dental service for the North Port area.
