Although my mouth has needed a lot of work the staff has been consistently gracious, above average both in listening and patience and willingness to explain things in "normal" speech. Absolutely would refer them.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an infection start in my mouth that became obvious on a Sunday morning then got visibly worse by Monday morning (I noticed my jawline had turned red at that point). So I called MTWest to see if they could squeeze me in to see the dentist and determine if antibiotics were necessary (they were). We were headed up to Glacier Park that morning and my only other option was to start calling random dentists in Kalispell to try to be seen. Thankfully MTWest got me in immediately and I got my antibiotics all within about an hour. I am so thankful they took this emergency seriously and made time to see me so I could get on with my travel plans and start healing before things got more serious. I also wasn't charged an arm and a leg for the visit!

I have severe anxiety about going to dentists thanks to a combination of a very painful facial nerve disorder and a prior dentist that didn’t know how to manage said disorder, causing me intense pain. Before coming here I would’ve rather had another brain surgery than gone to the dentist again, but these guys recognized my anxiety and helped me get comfortable, relax, even offered me an ice pack for my back! They researched my nerve disorder to better help both my treatment and my anxiety. Above and beyond incredible! I’m no longer afraid, and look forward to sparkling, clean teeth every time!

Experiencia fantástica: In my 55 years of receiving dental treatment, I have never experienced better care than I have at MT West Dentist. From the warm greeting at entry to the final billing on my way out. The staff have been the nicest and most professional of any dental clinic I have ever let work on my teeth. I've only met two of the dentists. Dr. Blake examined my teeth and talked about different ways to achieve my goals of having healthy teeth and answered any and all questions I may have had in a very professional and down-home way. Based on DR Blakes advice I opted to have an extraction performed on one molar and went with having the void filled with bone donor. Dr. Ron performed the extraction and procedure, and I can honestly say that I never felt any pain from start to two weeks later for suture removal. What more could a patient ask for? 5 stars all the way!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m probably the worst patient due to being OVERLY ANXIOUS at dental appointments. The cleaning doesn’t bother me as much as a procedure does but still makes my blood pressure rise a little. I have been to several dentists and have not gone back due to anxiety (it’s really bad) not liking the dentist or not liking how things are run. Well I have finally found a dental office that I am comfortable in. Dr. Blake and Dr. P are the kindest most compassionate dentists I have ever seen. The entire office, whether it be front desk or back desk and hygienists included are all very kind and helpful. Everyone is smiling and very welcoming. Ok I know this is their job but this clinic goes above and beyond to help keep things calm which for me is very important. I recommend this dental practice to anyone and everyone who needs oral care

Experiencia negativa: I would like to share my 7 year old daughter's first dental visit with Dr Sherwood. After applying the topical numbing agent with a q-tip on her gums to prepare her for the shot, he only waited a few seconds after and injected the needle. The look of pain and horror on my daughter's face was heartbreaking. She let out a silent scream, and when she finally was able to cry, he said, "I will have to refer her to a pediatric dentist." This was not my daughter's first time to a dentist, but all other dentists have always been careful to allow the topical numbing agent time to take effect. Dr Sherwood did not wait but instead injected a needle into my daughter's gum without waiting for the numbness to take effect. This was her first bad experience with a dentist. When I asked why he wouldn't wait for the topical agent to take effect, he said, "It would cause the procedure to be longer." There was no apology, and he was not receptive to my concerns of not waiting for the numbness to take effect. Even his very nice wife (who works there with him) asked the same question: "Couldn't you have waited?"

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough wonderful things about the doctors and staff at MT WEST DENTIST!! I recently had a crown done by Dr. Blake, he is so gentle and gives the best "shots" of anesthetic that I've ever had by any other dentist. The procedure was painless and they made my comfort a priority. Lana, his assistant, was amazing as well! She made a beautiful temporary crown for me. My permanent crown came back quickly. When I came back to get my permanent crown, Brandi, another amazing assistant, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable (I was a bit sensitive when my temporary crown was off). She was able to navigate what she had to do without causing any unnecessary sensitivity. My new crown was beautiful, a perfect shade match and a perfect fit!! I have to give a shout-out to Carolyn at the front desk for coordinating all my appointments and working with my "not-so-flexible" schedule. She did her magic and found a way to work me into their schedule so that it would work with mine. I drive an hour one-way to get to MT WEST DENTIST, but it is so worth it!! Everyone has treated my wife, Connie and I have with the utmost respect, concern. yesterday, October 18, 2023 I had a follow-up. I had missed last week's appointment. I called yesterday and to the office. They were able to get me in that afternoon. Dustin greeted me with a smile and concern. He was enjoyable with the professional demeaner as everyone in the past has done. The staff have always been a delight to meet us with the utmost attention. My second visit was for whitening trays which was also a quick and painless process. The trays even came with a free 3d model of my teeth. Experiencia fantástica: Over my life I've been to at least a dozen dentists and MT West Dentist is the best. The staff is caring and supportive. The procedures are explained as well as up front pricing. They work with you on your treatment plan instead of just doing it to you. I've always had issues with pain in the procedures, they are very good and at the worse, it's uncomfortable. I no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist! I cannot recommend them high enough.

Experiencia fantástica: It has been my first time back at MT West Dentist in about 3 years time. Since then I very much tried to take care of my teeth as they would want me to. Over the course of being away so many things have changed but there are still some constants I was glad to see. For starters, I don't think I've ever been to a dentist that has been so hospitable. The amount of care that MT West Dentist offers to its clients is unmatched and truely goes above and beyond. My hygienist was super kind as she scraped over two years of buildup and neglect off the spots I missed regularly. We talked about reasons for coming to plains, talking of a mutual friend who is near and dear to not only myself but that whole staff, and just had a nice time. My friend took images of my teeth as we joked around and discovered that my wisdom tooth was top light and it had decided to divert course and come in at a horizontal angle against my other teeth (nice). Then Doctor Blakely came in and did a quick, thorough check of everything and referred me for oral surgery for my wisdoms. Settling up afterwords was quick and painless and it was nice to chit chat. You cannot go wrong with MT. West Dental and I highly reccomend their services!

Experiencia fantástica: I have since a child had issues, out of my control, with my teeth. I had a tumor that ate the bone in my upper jaw from a fall when I was 8yrs old. My teeth broken, I did not smile showing my teeth. I wanted a great smile all my life since 8yrs old. Now in my 50s, MT West Dentist is helping me with that dream. They have given me kind, considerate, and professional care. I am, like a lot of people, very anxious and at times fearful being in a dentist chair due to past experiences but this place makes me feel comfortable and at ease. They make sure I am comfortable and explain everything before they do any procedure. I am in process of having 2 implants, a vaneer, and a crown and I am happy with the process and the Results. I have temporary teeth now in place, letting my gums get used to having teeth there again and when I looked in the mirror .... I just cried with joy! I was so happy to look normal again and be able to see beautiful teeth! Now I have to teach myself how to smile now with my teeth showing!! It has already changed my life and I have Dr Andrew to thank and all his great staff!!! Thank you!

I have never been treated with such care and professional like treatment in my life, in such a patient oriented setting to take care of all my dental needs. I first went to MT West Dentist last year for a check up and discussed the possibility of having some cosmetic work done on my teeth, that had been crooked my whole life. I am 58 years old and wasn't sure if I was too old for something like this, so this was a big decision for me. Dr. Andrew explained a new treatment called "Fast Braces", which only take months instead of years. The whole process only lasted 8 months and I am beyond happy with the results!! It was fast, I noticed changes almost immediately and with very minimal discomfort. The entire office staff is so friendly and professional and I highly recommend MT West Dentist to anyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: Truly the best dental experience! Everyone in the office is so genuine and compassionate. The Drs. treat their staff and patients like family. I only wish I would have known them sooner. If you're not from the area, definitely worth the drive! They are amazing with children! My 3 year old had her first dental appointment and they were so patient, friendly, and fun! Thank you, everyone at MT West Dental!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at MT West Dentist. They are very caring and professional. They really listened and asked questions to meet my needs. I wish the process for work comp claims was more convenient, but the office gave me everything I need to be reimbursed, so I'm very grateful for their help and care. Oh, and getting to keep my teeth was pretty terrific after a rotten fall, so there is that too. Thanks all!

Experiencia fantástica: I called the office due to a toothache and made an appt to have it looked at. Since the tooth decided it wasn't going to wait for the appt. I called again and was able to take a cancellation appt. Everyone is so nice and professional, from the front desk, assistant and of course Dr. Andrew. Unfortunately for me, my tooth was dying and needed a root canal. The good news was they have a endodontist (Dr. Jerrod) that comes to the office and was there that day. He was able to treat my tooth that afternoon., Within a couple of days it was feeling better. It is so nice to have a office that is up to date with the latest technology but remembers that the patient comes first and kindness is important. I thank the entire staff for a wonderful experience!

The staff was very knowledgeable, pleasant, caring , professional and courteous. We felt very comfortable there. They listened to our concerns and put us at ease. I have never been to a dentist office quite like this one. It was such a positive experience. We both feel we are in very good hands for our dental care and look forward to our next appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderfully caring and thorough process by all the staff here. My entire procedure was detailed at the start, and during they explained what was going to happen and when. The staff took extra effort in making sure I was comfortable, and relaxed throughout. After, I was given a roadmap for further care and plenty of options for it. Experiencia fantástica: I was so pleased with the service I received at MT West Dentist. I was visiting for 2 weeks when I had a crown fail. They welcomed me to the office without having an appointment and proceeded to fix my tooth by rush ordering the crown and I was fixed up (virtually pain free) and ready to go back home. Such a nice, welcoming atmosphere & beautiful office space. I will definitely be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: The absolute best and most professional dentist I have ever been too, and I have been to dentists on all seven continents (yes, McMurdo Station Antarctica) Doctor Ordelheidei has the touch.... I don't know how he gave shots without me feeling it! The assistant Kathy could not have had a better bed side manner! Superb! The staff treated me like family (the ones they like). Outstanding!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Update I had my teeth fixed May 6 2019 and my experience has been nothin but amazing they really go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and so caring I absolutely love my new smile they truly do amazing work . I am in zero pain today and my cheeks hurt from smiling ... Great staff they gave me a walk through of the building! They made me very comfortable and explained to me in a way that I can understand.. fast and efficient... definitely look forward to my new smile ... great place !!! Highly recommend!!

I had to get something done and though my last experience was terrifying, MT West Dentist Really helped me out and made sure everything was calm and made sure i was okay every step of the way Never going to any other dentist again, only place ill go, or take my family!
