Experiencia fantástica: On yesterday was my first experience of being in a dentist office! I was in a lot of pain the last week of June normal my gums would not hurt that much but it was to the point it was causing my teeth to hurt! My sister in love told me about Alison L. Boone, DDS on how she took my brother (Her husband) there and they love it!! So I said why not try it plus this was an emergency! Thank God they were able to see me yesterday morning and that's when my whole perspective on the dentist changed! I heard a lot of bad, terrible, negative and scary things about the dentist to where I didn't want to step foot in the dentist place! After yesterday that completely changed as going in the receptionists ladies were both so sweet and warm welcoming!!! The atmosphere setting is so relaxing and soothing! They told me that everything was going to be okay! They said they seen this plenty of times and that it's normal but it's going to be okay! Once my name was called I asked them was it okay for my boyfriend to come because I needed all the support and they were so sweet to allowed him to come to the back with me. I had Sandy if not mistaken for the dentist assistant and she was absolutely amazing!!!! She was so patience with me and was there with me every step of the way!!! She calm every nerve I had! I was crying when I got in the back and she calm me down with her warm and gentle voice she made me be sure that everything will be okay and not once she judged me on anything!!! Even when I asked questions or my boyfriend asked questions she never hesitated to answer them! She was so sweet and kind! I truly enjoyed her and she made me laugh to keep my thoughts away from me being nervous! The procedures that she had to do in my mouth she was so nice to let me know if I was in pain to let her know and she will stop and I thought that was so sweet of her because I was already in pain and not knowing how the other instruments tools she was going to use will feel in my mouth. She was very careful and considerate of how I was feeling! I truly appreciate Sandy!!! I'm so proud of myself for taking this first step! I'll be going back next week for a follow-up! I'm looking forward to meeting with others as well as meeting with the doctor! Sandy was so sweet that she said she will have me to come with her again for my next appointment because she already know how I am and that she will probably be able to help me feel better with my nerves! I really appreciate that! Thank you all so much for the care, patience and the concerns for me! I really appreciate it and I recommend others to definitely come here!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Go elsewhere if you value your money and time. Setup a cleaning appointment. They advised they had time for the cleaning on the phone so we scheduled it. I took a PTO day off work for this appointment. After coming here they claim they need to do 2-3 X-Rays that costed over 250$. I asked if the x-rays were necessary before doing so, and she seemed like I offended her and said it was mandatory. I thought it was odd considering I've been to plenty of dentist that don't need to do this. After doing all the x-rays and wasting my day here, they didn't want mention to mention the cleaning until the very end after I paid and after all the x-rays. they stated "oh we're sorry we don't have any appointments available right now, the soonest we can do is 4 months away." I would expect some honesty and transparency from a professional dentist company and for them to provide you this information before you came instead of hiding the information. After more research I was correct there are plenty of dentist around Elizabeth city that do not have to do any of this and can do the x ray and cleaning the same day. I went to a different dentist that was able to do it all the same day like I expected for a quarter of the price. It's unnecessary and a waste of time/money. Go elsewhere if you value your money and time.

Experiencia fantástica: My dentist appointment visit at Alison L Boone office was very satisfied. I went in for my appointment and was greeted with a smiling face at the Front Desk. The Front Desk Receptionist already knew who I was when I came in all I had to do was to have a seat and wait to be called. The service I received was done with concerns and handled with care. The feeling you get in the atmosphere is pleasant coming in and going out.

This is an emergency, a child is in pain with a broken and exposed tooth yet I can not find one dentist within 100 miles who will HELP!! I didn’t even ask if they took Medicaid, but I can bet money I know the answer for that question also.

Everything is so modern, you know they have all the latest equipment. The dentist treat you like family as they professionally get your teeth back to perfect. I'm 77 years old and been to a lot of dentist, I highly recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Following an awful experience with another dental office I put off having any dental work done for many years. I recently began an overhaul with this clinic. The staff up front are awesome. The Doctor and assistant have been attentive and understanding. My comfort has been looked after every step of the way. One tooth rebuild and a bridge complete. One crown to go. So far, the sensitivity to hot/cold is mostly gone. Zero aches. They are busy and booked pretty far out, but if you need work done, without being shamed for less than ideal dental upkeep, I highly recommend this clinic.

Both Dr. Boone and her medical staff do a superb job of providing easily understandable explanations, accurate diagnoses, thorough responses to all questions, proper anesthesia and pain management, efficient procedures, at-home care instructions and follow-up. On two occasions when a dental emergency has required me to contact Dr. Boone's after hours number, her response has been timely and effective. I plan on remaining with Dr. Boone for more quality care years to come with great appreciation!

Experiencia fantástica: I experienced the separation of an old gold single tooth implant from its post and being new to the area I could only hope to find help with my problem. I found calling so called "emergency dental clinics" to be a waste of time. I found Dr. Boone on Maps and called and her staff were very helpful and they worked me in as a new patient within two days. The office is very clean and all of the staff were very pleasant. Dr. Boone's dental technician clearly knew what to do and she determined the implant could probably be replaced and she took needed x-rays and then Dr. Boone came in and introduced herself to me. It was necessary to remove some gum tissue in order to get the implant to fit properly, just as I had read about on the internet. The local anesthetic was essentially painless and the implant was replaced back on the post with a fixative. It was immediately nice to be able to chew on both sides again. I have scheduled a full evaluation with Dr. Boone in a couple of weeks and look forward to knowing what she thinks about other issues with my teeth.

I saw Morgan, dental professional who took x-rays and was very personable and understanding of my dilemma....followed by a very patient and thorough Dr. Lian, who diagnosed the problem, ordered antibiotics and prescribed a course of action. Both team members answered all my questions, and I never felt rushed. In sum, a very fine experience all around.
