Experiencia positiva: Went for the first time, had an insurance mix up. The staff took the time to help me get it sorted. Much appreciated. After my cleaning, things were a bit hectic. Paperwork was lost, and I had to wait on some information. They told me to wait in the lobby for my answers. I’m still waiting! A week later. Disappointing

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful place, very nice people. Drove from Walker county to be seen here and it’s so peaceful and quaint. It feels very country which I love since it’s in a house instead of a traditional office which I love. They made my daughter feel at ease, before her fillings.

Experiencia positiva: Dentist did a good job. But new office policies are not on point. Made to sign a paper saying how much you are going to have to pay before work begins. They have also started a 3.75% fee to use a card. I almost felt bullied about payment despite the fact that I have great high option insurance and always pay my co-pay. I think they provide service to people that don’t have insurance (and don’t speak English) so maybe the new policies are to supplement those patients…and that is not a good way to do business. I have noted that they are expanding their business and are paying really good money for someone who speaks Spanish to work in the new office. So someone must be paying decent money for that dental care. I can’t help but wonder exactly who is paying? I am seriously considering moving my dental care to another practice. When I mentioned how I felt I was told they hired a “consultant”. Well whatever they paid that consultant may have cost them my business.

They really do such a good job and are super friendly especially with the kids!! Thank Y'all so much Update after I was seen here they still get 5 stars from me :)

Experiencia negativa: They put a crown on a couple months back and I was pretty pleased with it. Today I had a cleaning scheduled. About 10 minutes into the young lady doing it seemed like she didn't want to be there. She was killing my gums with the scrapper thing. I addressed my concern and she became very rude. I told her to stop and that I would never be back!! Worse experience ever!!!.

Experiencia fantástica: For someone that hasn't been to the dentist since I was a kid, I was really nervous. I will say my dental hygienist was very calm, which in turn calmed me and when it come to the shots I didn't even feel anything. She also takes the time to school me on how to take care of my teeth and I really appreciate that. All in all my experience was great I'm really bad with names and I think she is great and I think all the staff there are professional

Experiencia fantástica: Was nervous going in but Dr. Kim and his helper listened to me and made me feel comfortable while explaining what was causing my tooth ache.. left it up to me to have it extracted today (2/5/2026) or come back..I asked about sedation and got laughing Gas to calm me..Dr.Kim was great.

Experiencia negativa: Aweful they called me and told me I owed a bill 3 different times and my girls had full Medicaid at that time. Then I told them my kids wouldn’t be back and they called to tell me they had a cleaning appointment after I done said we won’t be back and they sent me a message saying I’d be charged $35 extra on both accounts. I’ve had trouble with them for years.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very pleased with my experience today with Dr. Kim and his staff. I am the worst dental patient and have extreme issues when I get in a dental chair. However, the staff today did everything right. I appreciate their patience with me even though I took up a lot of Dr. Kim's time that he wasn't expecting. They made me comfortable, handled me as a patient and themselves professionally. The gentleman who prepared me for the Dentist was respectful, calm, and compassionate. Dr. Kim calmed me with his humor and not letting his frustration show. That's hard to come by in a Dentist. I appreciate their swiftness as well to get me taken care of.

Experiencia negativa: I had dentures made at the dentist office 14 years ago. The denturist at that time did an absolutely amazing job which got this dentist office a lot of referrals by me fast forward. I need dentures that fit. I went in for my first wax try in last week the denturist did not measure my teeth, so he ordered very thick, very long, very wide teeth. I immediately expressed that to Dr. Kim Dr. Kim said he did measure them. The denturist told me he did not there’s a huge communication issue in this office as I’m doing the first wax try in as to be expected. It’s basically just to look at the teeth and see what you think of them. The denturist goes on to tell me something that’s missing on my current denture and asks do I have a gag reflex? I tell him no and he tells me you probably have a very happy husband tells me it flew over my head. I said my husband‘s happy with me without teeth or with teeth and then I finally caught on he said don’t. be embarrassed. I’m married too basically shows me his wedding ring through the glove as if that made him more professional today I went in for a second wax try and I just overlooked everything. The man said to continue with the goal of getting a Set of dentures that fit we already discussed that I need a smaller tooth size. He sat with me for a while today and basically just continued to add more wax over the Teeth he ordered that were too large, giving me a very gummy smile, which I am not fond of. He discussed with me how we would move forward the next thing I know the nurse walks in the room now there’s a change of plans he no longer wants to fix teeth for me. He brags about Making a grill for Flo Rida tells me our last denturist were alcoholics and drug addicts. I continue to ask to speak to Dr. Kim and was refused that and then they gave my insurance company the runaround about refunding my insurance company the lady on the phone today said it was not her job to do the extra legwork to contact my insurance company to find out how to refund the money it indeed is her job. This was very unfair to me so I will never refer anyone else there they’ve lost their integrity. They have definitely lost their professionalism and if you’re not happy with Chiclets for teeth and you don’t want to sign off on the first wax try in they don’t want to deal with you. I guess it’s a really good thing that I recorded my visits because I was recording my teeth. I also had to pay extra even though my insurance company covers this 100%. I had to pay an extra amount for the color so beware this office is no longer what it once was. they literally wasted so much of my time, and I have to travel from one county to another. I only trusted them because they made good dentures for me in the past. I also caught them in a lie today a gentleman came in very angry in the waiting room complaining about having his dentures made in June and they have already broken twice. They told my mother that it was because he continued to eat nuts and then today I was told the reason his denture was literally split and broken in half was because he stepped on them. It absolutely turned into an absolute ridiculous appointment. Who knows maybe this is a blessing in disguise but beware. I have a 14-year-old pair of dentures that was made here years ago. They have lasted this long from a prior denturist. One of my teeth popped off. I was told there was no charge now that they have to refund the money back to my insurance and the money back to me for ordering teeth that were way too big in my denture, and he just continued to try to cover it with more and more wax, they got worse and now they want to try to bill me for that one tooth that he glued on that popped off two days later no one would be happy with this I will give zero stars if there was a way possible to do so, but you have to give one in order to leave a review

My dentist, Dr David Kim, is a superb doctor and I always enjoy going to see him and all the girls who clean my teeth. They’ve always been professional, yet also treated me like a friend each time I visited. You need to check them out for all your dental needs if your around the Cullman area.

Experiencia positiva: My long time dentist stopped taking my insurance and I had an abscess causing extreme pain. Today's family dentistry came through and was able to get me in the day I called. They were nice and personable I'm happy to have them as my new dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Overall I can say I’m please with Dr Kim. He fixed my tooth. What I’m not pleased with was his demeanor. He seemed to be very rushed, and didn’t seem to care. He grinned down my bottom teeth, he grinned them down to a point where it was causing me discomfort and didn’t seem to care that it was causing me pain. My gums now after getting everything done are very sensitive and now bleed and hurt when I brush my teeth. I’m thankful that he was able to reseal my crown and I didn’t have to pay and arm and a leg for it. But there are just some things that he could have done differently. I’m sad to say I will not return to his facility….

Experiencia negativa: I had full dentures made. The bottom set is fine. The top set however is thin and poorly made. I have had 4 teeth come out and they wanted to charge me to put them back in. I refused to pay. I should be able to eat peanuts or whatever and the teeth stay in!!

Experiencia negativa: My kids went here years ago and it seems now the same concerns I had then a lot of moms are having the same issues I had then and someone is speaking out. I didn’t want my child strapped down but they wouldn’t see my child unless he was strapped down which I had to resign papers for them because I didn’t agree. They don’t strap down for cleanings unless it was because I was allowed to go back for that visit but they didn’t tell my child he would be strapped down for a filling visit which he didn’t even need at his other dentist office because he does great at the dentist. Even back then and it seems my review on facebook is gone simply because the page is gone. But my kids will never come back here and I hope they get shut down for the inhuman ways they treat kids. Or maybe they shouldnt work with kids at all because no matter be there is good with kids. We want our kids to love having oral hygiene care and not be afraid of it. For kids I highly recommend Dodge city dental but mostly s’mores smiles. They have done amazing with my kids. And DONT STRAP YOUR KIDS DOWN AND THEY DONT COVER THIER MOUTHS WITH THIER HANDS UNTIL THE KID IS CALM. This place is a trash and shouldn’t be open.

Experiencia negativa: I have a heavy heart today been going to this dentist 20+ years now, followed him from city to city thought I was a friend not just a patient but I was mistaken Went for a cleaning, they would NOT see me until I paid on a 4 year old bill that was told to me by both (2) my insurance companies and there precious accountant it was paid and all was good 4 years ago! Mine I go ever 6 months plus have a lot of work done over this period all of a sudden it comes back to haunt me I was so upset I asked to speak to dentist he was to busy for Me or to even talk to me on his cell phone I was so hurt love this dentist. I wouldn’t had gone to anybody else I think sometimes U have to give ur patient a little more of ur time not just setting in his dentist chair ☹️

Experiencia positiva: This has been my dentist for years. Dr.Kim and Dr.Tan are AMAZING! They are very kind and they talk to you and make you feel comfortable before working on your teeth. I have nothing but good things to say about them. However, my last two appointments were with Dr.Young and I unfortunately can’t say the same for her. The first appointment I did not even meet her until I was prepped for my filling and she came in, did not say a word to me, filled my cavity then I never saw or heard from her again. Okay, fair enough, right? Well I had a front tooth start turning grey from a root canal so I made an appointment for a crown. Same thing. Dr.Young did not come in until I was prepped and she did not speak to me except once to say “there is no better way to do this” when I winced in pain at the shot she put in my mouth. I have never had any pain like that with the shots I’ve gotten in my gums. What she said was not very comforting. I get it, I’m an adult but when anxiety is high a little encouraging words do wonders. She spent the remainder of the time complaining about the music that was being played and how she was “stuck inside” the office and how she needed a spring break. I’m sure a break would be nice, but when you’re in my mouth working on my teeth I would appreciate at least the illusion that you enjoy your job. Lastly, my temporary crown was terrible. I went back the next day to get it fixed. I wouldn’t have cared that much but it was sharp and flared out at the top so it was cutting into the inside of my mouth. I did pay $440 out of pocket for all this so I went back to get it fixed. They replaced it in a timely manner and was very kind about it. Take what you will from that information. It wasn’t a horror story, but I just did not feel comfortable with her and just couldn’t build any trust with her. On the bright side, I have never met a hygienist there that was anything less than caring and compassionate. They also worked with me in getting to reschedule my permanent crown appointment with my usual dentist, even though the dentist who does the first appointment typically will do the second.

In addition, the pricing schedule is more reasonable than many others in Cullman which allowed me to have the services I needed covered by my insurance plan rather than having to pay significant out of pocket costs. I will always recommend Dr Kim.

Experiencia negativa: Just took my 2 of my 4 children here. We’ve been here before. My youngest had to have one cap and they end up unnecessarily putting 3 right in the front of his mouth, that should’ve been enough for me to never go back but an emergency came up and they were the only ones who could get them in quickly, a last resort of you will. My older son goes in first. They come out and say his filling fell out, now there’s a cavity and infection and they want to pull it. I ask can I speak with the dentist bc I’m a little concerned about extracting the tooth with infection present. She looks at me very confused and lost for words and says the dentist isn’t back there right now but she will ask…. She comes back and says they are going to put him on antibiotics and to come back next week to extract the tooth. I said I still want to talk to the dentist, and she danced around that and walked back into the back. After asking twice, I never spoke with the dentist. I asked my son who looked at his mouth, he said “she did” talking about the tech or nurse or whatever she is…I asked him did anyone else look at his mouth, did anyone else come in and talk to him and he said “no, only her.” He is plenty old enough to know and be aware of that situation. I asked the front desk if the actual dentist examined my child and she said she wasn’t sure but she could go ask…the fact she wasn’t sure if every child gets examined appropriately is enough for me. I told her not to worry about it I would be taking my children somewhere else. Also, you mean to tell me someone WHO IS NOT A DENTIST MADE THE CALL TO EXTRACT AN INFECTED TOOTH ON A CHILD and the dentist, Dr. Young, didn’t even talk or lay eyes on my child. I will be calling the ADA, Dental Board, the insurance company, and whoever else will listen. Worst experience ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Experiencia negativa: People are friendly, however they don't really seem to care, some always seemed annoyed to have to do their job however we all have our bad days i can't blame them. I really liked the girls who i'd talk to and i often had great conversation with them however i brought up having some pain on a back tooth and they just deemed it as sensitivity due to a filling... i have a appointment for a root cannal tomorrow. whenever i realized it wasn't just sensitivity from a filling, i was going through the WORST PAIN OF MY LIFE. i couldn't eat, sleep or ever talk. unfortunately the friendliness of the people could never makeup for the pain i felt. i really don't recommend and if you do go and feel pain PLEASD SEEK OTHER ADVICE!

Experiencia fantástica: I called every dentist in Cullman on Monday 12/23/24 because I have a tooth very loose and painful. Everyone told me it would be after the holidays to see me . The last place I called was Todays Family Dentistry. They told me I could just walk in but no guarantee they could do anything. I was there about 15-20 mins then I was called back . They went ahead and removed my tooth and I was so relieved. Thank you for everything. I will return for future treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: In traversing the medical world it’s often a bad experience. That is not the case here. The staff is fantastic, competent, and caring. Maybe Cullman Regional could take some lessons.

Experiencia negativa: When I walked in the office the window was shut and the young lady opened it didn’t say a word for several minutes and when I said something to her she said can’t you see I’m doing something. That was the first mistake. She handed me the iPad and said I needed to update my insurance, there was four pages and it kept asking me basically the same questions over and over again. I had been a patient here for over two years. I completed the form annd gave to the upfront desk person and the young lady at the desk got smart with me and rolled her eye. She called me back to the desk and said I still have two pages to finish just like I told you and Rolled her eyes again. And I told her I’m not doing your damn job I have a patient here for two years and all that needs to be done was my insurance updated. When the staff is rude it’s time to find another dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Tan and his assistant were very professional. They were removing a tooth plus decay and put a temporary bridge in until bridge work was completed in two weeks. I was pleased no soreness and recooperated fine. A procedure well done!!!
